Enterprise Email and groupare for Apple Computer?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'm extremely curious to what groupware product Apple is using in house.
Do they have something similar to exchange or better? And I'm sure they've had to install a couple exchange servers for their iphone development.
I'm an IT administrator, I'm being pushed hard by my management to have a mixed environment, and I really would love to know what Apple is doing internally to provide interoperability with Exchange clients - internally and externally.
One big pain I've been getting is calendar sharing from my Outlook users and my ical users.

In my experience no-one from Apple (apart from forum moderators removing inappropriate posts) has ever responded to a post. There are other forums where perhaps there might have been a response? Now I can't seem to login to that account and I can't choose the option for forgot password because it will send email to the old workplace. How do I change the email address to a new one that I can access?

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done

I am having the exact same problem, I replied to a thread about a hacked itunes account. Apparently so has every other person in the world, because every time somebody else writes on the thread, I end up getting an email. There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

(Other users here use the alternative FotoMagico: http://www.boinx.com/fotomagico/homevspro/ which you may prefer - I have no experience with it.)
Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, including adding other video clips, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.

You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours. If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for). You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content.

Try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated id so as to 'refresh' the acccount on it

There is a huge difference between sending email and sending messages.
Yes, I believe you when you say you can only send messages to other Apple products. The iPad is not a telephone, and therefore, it cannot text message. It can only iMessage, which means it can send and receive messages to/from other Apple products if they are on WiFi or an iMessage capable cellular network.
Email, however, is a whole different category. I don't really think you can only exchange email with other Apple products only. Make sure you have correctly identified the symptoms.
