Enterprise Manager doesn't work!

Hi,
My EM doesn't work. I don't know why, but the Console Service doesn´t Run, and therefore I cannot enter EM.
When I try to configure it with DBCA it gives me the following errors:

Sorry you are having problems. First of all try Fifrefox's safemode.

Next step, if safe mode did not work.
First: Try a clean install, (you have had a none standard version installed previously) that involves deleting the program files. Then if necessary try troubleshooting by creating and using a clean empty Firefox profile.

Media Manager doesn't work anymore

When I'm capturing and logging footage, Media Manager is part of my work flow. I capture the entire tape, then use the DV Start/Stop detect function to make subclips. Then I use Media Manager to create smaller versions of the subclips. I I log and archive the newly created compressed clips, and use them for edits.
But now with FCP 5.0.2, Media Manager doesn't work like it used to. The end result of outputting the subclips is one large clip. If I output half of them at a clip (1,3,5,7,9,etc.) and then go back and do the rest (2,4,6,8,10,...) it works. But what a pain. I've tried every variation of settings. Nothing make a difference.
What gives?
Also, the subclips all now have the first frame of the next clip stuck on the end. That's not Media Manager, it happens before. But it is not cool.
Anyone having similar problems, and any solutions?

Here is the process:
Capture the entire DV tape as one long clip.
Use DV Start/Stop detection to create markers. (This results in that extra last frame from the beginning of the next clip.)
Make subclips from the markers.
Select subclips and go to Media Manager
Use Media Manager to Recompress
-Recompress media using OfflineRT NTSC (Photo JPEG)
-Delete unused media from selected clips.
-No handles (I want the clip as it was on the tape)
-Base media file names on clip names
-Select a media destination
And off it goes.
Instead of creating individual clips (at the slected location) it makes one long clip, like the source just smaller because it is now compressed.
In earlier version of FCP this worked. Something has changed in version 5.
I can trick the Media Manager by selecting every other subclip, outputting, and then going back and selecting the rest. But that is twice the work. And I still have those darn extra frames at the end of the clips.
Any ideas. (I have already done the Quicktime repair listed in many other threads.)

I have a Blackberry 8330 (CDMA) v4.50.191 (Plaform 3.4.0.62).
The Blackberry desktop manager is v4.5
The Media Manager doesn't work.
when I click on the icon for it, the window gets a grayish tint -- like it's going to do something -- but then it returns to normal and nothing happens.
I am trying to download photos I took with my Blackberry camera to my computer.
Can anyone tell me some recommendations on how to download them and/or repair the Media Manager?

My advice, skip the Media Manager and instead use Mass Storage Mode:

With that, you can work with your BB memory area(s) as USB drives on your computer, and use your normal computer interface to do so.

Enterprise Manager doesn't connect to DB

Hi,
my Enterprise Manager 11g on Windows Server 2003 64-bit is not able to connect to the database instance. Listener is up and agent connection with instance (or so) is not available.
Listner and database are running because I can connect via sqlplus. Also agent and contorl are working fine.

First of all: it had worked before! Then I had forgotten sys/system/sysman passwort (yes it's a bad idea using the same password). So connected via sqlplus with OS authentication and changed sys's password. Loged in to the database with EM, changed system and sysman to the same password as sys.
Everything worked OK connecting to the DB via sqlplus or sql developer and other tools. But today I wanted to connect to the DB using EM, doesn't work.
Searching the forums I found a tip that sysman password should be the same as sys password. I wanted to check sysman's acount. Sqlplus said account locked. So I have done alter user sysman account unlock. After that I can connect with sysman via sqlplus, but after loading EM in the browser or restarting the console I am not able to connect via sqlplus as sysman because the acount is locked again. Whenever I am restarting the db console or browsing to loclahost:1158/em with or without restarting the console the sysman account is locked.
Maybe that is an indicator showing what's going wrong? Is there another option rather than deleting and reinstalling the db?

Sysman doesn't need to have the same password as sys, and you can change the password whenever you want. When you first create the database dbca prompts you for sys password and asks you if you want to leave the same password for all administrative accounts, including sysman, that's why someone in the forum might have thought it was a recommendation, but it isn't.
I suggest you to leave just the same password sysman had prior to this change, since this password is hashed at the sysman's configuration files and is the one it tries to use to logon to the database. Changing adobe ID - Adobe Cloud Manager doesn't work

I have on my mac Adobe Creative Cloud Manager with all the app installed in English. All work.
I changed my ID with new subscription of all the CC product, but the Manager doesn't recognize what i have installed, so when i try to update, install or uninstall the apps, i can't.
I already try with CC cleaner, but doesn't work...
I already also delete the OOBE folder...

Recovery Manager doesn't work :(!!!

I have installed a new windows to my laptop (dv6-6177se) but it doesn't work as well as the original OS and when i tried to recover the original copy from the hard drive it didn't work! I installed HP recovery manager but when i try to open it there is a massage pops up tellin' me that there's missing fill called DZIP32.dll and HardDisk.dll for X64 i dunno what to do so plz help me to solve this problem.

Package Manager doesn't work

I have Solaris 11 running under Virtual Box on OS X. When I try to use the Package Manager, I enter my administrator password...and absolutely nothing happens. Same thing with the Update Manager.
Any idea why it doesn't work?

but after installing one wire from the VI Package Manager I found nothing new thing in arduino (figure below) I checked : low level, sensors, utility, examples. and I searched on the internet the driver of one wire (DS18B20) to Arduino and i found nothing.

Layout Manager doesn't work

After few days, I can't solve this problem, please help me before I will become completely insane !!!
I have a JInternalFrame which contain a panel (the contentpane). I add a JTabbedPane to this contentpane. This tabbedpane consists of 2 panel in 2 tab. I would like to add some components for each panel with a GridBagLayout manager but it doesn't work. GridBagLayout is something I avoid at all costs. Use BoxLayout and javax.swing.Box.I've asked this before and I'm still waiting for a counterexample: I claim
their are plenty of reasonable GUIs where GBL is the obvious answer. Take the challenge...

Thinkvantage Password Manager doesn't work on Windows 10

After installing the latest (4.70 Build 2) Password Manager to Windows 10 (Build 9926) on my Thinkpad T520, it does not work well (I try to use it with Chrome 40.0.2214.111 m, plugin version is 4.60.3).
Specifically:
The app starts at system startup and shows tray icon
I can't open the app by double clicking on it: the splash screen appears but then disappears
I can't open the settings from the right click menu of the tray icon
The chrome plugin doesn't do anything (it is installed, but doesn't pop up when I type a password)
Sometimes when typing a password to a Windows password box, the Password Manager "save password" window pops in after freezing the window for 2-3 seconds.
Notes:
I have used Password Manager with Chrome on Windows 8.1, where it worked
Fingerprint login works well with the Fingerprint Software 6.0.0 Build 8102

Hi, I have an X220 and upgraded to W10. PWM does not work in Edge . . . but I just found under All Apps - Windows Accessories - IE11. PWM continues to work on W10 IE11 which at this point I prefer to Edge for several reasons. I looked up a number or tweaks and tips articles about W10 but did not see any of them mention that IE11 was still available under W10. Regards - K

LastPass password manager doesn't work with latest Firefox after downloading add-in, installing it and re-starting Firefox.

I'm using FireFox 20.0. I downloaded the add-in, installed it and re-started FireFox but LastPass doesn't show up in the add-ins nor does it fill in the login info on sites that I have in my LastPass vault.

What I've done is make LastPass my home site so when I launch FireFox, I log into LastPass and leave the LastPass vault page in an open tab. Then when I log into another site which requires a login and password which I've previously set up in LastPass, LastPass logs me into that site automatically. LastPass is a free password manager that works well in IE. Any time LastPass detects a login page, it enables you to set up the password and ID in its database and fills in the login info at future login prompts. My solution for FireFox is a bit clunky but when I need to use a second browser, it works.

Enterprise manager stopped to work after several months

Hi everybody,
I downloaded Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) Enterprise/Standard Edition for Microsoft Windows (32-bit) and I installed it successfully in March (I installed it locally on my PC. I've got Win XP operating system).
Then I used it till May and everything went OK. Yesterady I wanted to return to my work but Oracle Database 10g Release 2 EE doesn't want to connect me.
There is an address I have entered in my web browser: http://k219:1158/em, where k219 is the name of my PC. I tried to write 5500 instead of 1158 but it failed as well.
Previously I used http://k219:1158/em and it was OK, but now it fails.
I tried to startup The iSQL*Plus (http://k219:5560/isqlplus) and it is OK.
What shall I do? Can anybody help me?

There is no directory 'OC4J_DBConsole_192.168.2.97_orcl' but there is directory 'OC4J_DBConsole_k219_orcl' in my computer. 192.168.2.97 is my IP address and 'k219' is the name of my PC.
There was done changes in my PC a month ago - we changed our web provider and my IP address has changed. Can my problems be caused by this?
And one thing is suspicious for me. I set env variable ORACLE_SID by using console but as soon as I exit the console and then I start it again, env variable ORACLE_SID is not set up ???!!!

Zen Sync Manager doesn't work with Windows 7

I have a Zen 6GB MP3 player, firmware version .2.03_0.03.0.
I recently upgraded my computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7. Sync Manager (looks like version 6.4.8.0, dated 7/7/2007) worked fine with Vista, and it even worked for a few days after I upgraded, but now it does not recognize that there is a player connected.
Zen Media Explorer still works, so I can drag and drop audio files to the Zen, but this is a bit of a pain. More importantly, I need to find a way to sync organizer (Outlook) data.
I have tried running Sync Manager in various compatibility modes (Vista, XP SP3, XP SP2), but it still will not recognize the player. From something I read in another post in this forum, I'm wondering if I need to uninstall Sync Manager and reinstall it in a compatibility mode? All my other applications work fine with Win 7, so I'm not that familiar with how to use compatibility mode properly.

I tried every which way to solve this problem, and in the end contacted Ctreati've tech support. They advised the following:
"Please be advised that, currently, we do not have Creative Media Explorer (Sync Manager) and firmware updates available for ZEN on Windows 7 OS.
Creative is working constantly on updates for Windows 7 users who are using Creative products. These updates will be deli'vered from time to time on our website. We encourage you to often visit our support site, http://support.creative.com/ and forum page, http://forums.creative.com/ for product updates and announcements."
Frustrating; it looks like a matter of waiting ...

Performance Manager doesn't work

I defined the preferred credential for database and Node, OEM works fine. Then I tried to use Performance Manager with OEM, but every time when I tried to connect to database, I always got the same error message that said:
VTD-0123: Error connecting to service Oracle9i.ORACLE
DBA-01200: Error: Oracle LOGON failed
ORA-28009: connection to sys should be as sysdba or sysoper
SQL: OCISessionBegin
ODG-05271: Error: message decode:VP_INITIALIZE_REQ : vppcallbb fialed
Even I tried Performance Manager without OEM, still the same problem.
