Enterprise structure with reference to integration points

Hi,
Can some one send me information on  Enterprise structure with reference to integration points in SAP-IS RETAIL plz.
Edited by: sayee on Feb 20, 2008 11:54 AM

Hello Sayee
In the Sales and Distribution module of SAP, there are three different perspectives for an enterprise structure. These are:
•     Market Oriented Organization structure
•     Internal Organization Structure
•     Shipping Related Organization Structure
Market Oriented Organization Structure
Market oriented Organization structure in the Sales and Distribution module consists of sales organizations, distribution Channels and a reference division. A combination of sales organization and distribution channel forms a Distribution Chain.
Internal Organisation Structure
Sales Office and Sales Group represent the internal Organization in SAP. The internal Organization structure is used for performance management of sales personnel.
Shipping Related Structure (*For Stock Transport Orders)
Independent Organizational entities, such as shipping points, are responsible for scheduling and processing deliveries to Stores from the Distribution Centre. A delivery is always carried out by one shipping point only. The shipping point depends on the following criteria:
•     Plant/Site (Distribution Centre)
•     Shipping Condition
•     Loading Group

  • Help in defining organization structure with reference to new gl

    Hi Experts,
I need some help in defining organization structure with reference to new GL. I have three legal entities spread across 17 locations. In each location there may be three legal company entities in operation. And in each company code there are 5 to 6 several product lines. I have defined 3 legal entities as 3 company codes, but my concern is how do i define these 17 locations as and how do i define these product lines. We do location wise reporting meaning if i take one location i draw P&L for all the 15 product lines of the combined 3 company codes. Like wise for we do individual location wise reporting. As ususal we do budgeting location wise for departments for each individual company code.
I thought of using business area as locations, but i heard SAP doesnt support anymore on business due to new gl concept and moreover business area doesnt populate in all transactions. Can we use new gl concept like segments and so, i am sorry i am very new to New gl. Can the location wise combined reporting be done in consolidation or it can achieved in new gl
Can somebody share their expertise on how to achieve this either my new gl or traditional gl.
    Thanks in advance

  • Dictionary structure with reference to two transparent tables

    Hi
I have a question about structures defined as dictionary objects.
Is it possible to define a dictionary structure consisting of the structure types of two transparent tables, i.e. to define a dictionary type that corresponds to something like this:
    TYPES:
               BEGIN OF ty_s_tablejoin,
                  tab1     TYPE z_table1,
                  tab2     TYPE z_table2,
               END OF ty_s_tablejoin.
where z_table1 and z_table2 are both transparent tables?
I need it as a dictionary type in order to pass the structure/table into a function module as an input parameter.
There might be other ways of doing this, but it could be interesting to know if it is possible. Please excuse me if this is a weird question, I'm rather new with SAP.
    kind regards
    Klaus Stenbæ

    Hi Klaus,
You can't create a structure in the data dictionary from two tables.  However, you can define tables based on structures then create a structure combining both.
    For example;
Create structures ZST1 and ZST2 (containing the fields of z_table1 and z_table2 respectively)
Then create tables z_table1 and z_table2, defining them based on ZST1 and ZST2
Finally create a structure (say ZST12) combining both ZST1 and ZST2
From a practical point of view, ZST1 and ZST2 should not contain the client field as when you combine them the field will duplicate.  Add the client field to z_table1, z_table2 and ZST12 before including the structres.
    Hope this helps,
    Nick

  • CO with other module integration

    Hi Experts
Kindly provide CO with other modules integration point details like CO -SD, CO-PP,CO-MM etc.,
    Thanks & Regards
    Vinod

    Hi,
As suggested by Juan and Ruchit you can restrict the things by roles.
It is not needed to go for a new system or new client.
Going for a new client would again occupy more space then again you need to maintain the master data and all the other stuff. I think you should use the same client and restrict  the users with the authorization mostly we restict the users using the auth object p_orgin.

  • Integrating EC organizational structure with SAP OM

    Hi experts,
Do you know if someone has successfully integrated EC Organizational Structure with SAP HCM OM Structure? I mean cases when the organizational struture is created and maintained in SuccessFactors and then transferred to SAP HCM OM (organizational units, positions, holders) in order to avoid double maintenance in SAP. Is there for instance an iFlow delivered by SAP to help with the integration? Just wondered if this kind of integration is worth trying or if it would too complicated.
    Thanks,
    Anna

You should read the EC to SAP ERP integration handbook (found at http://service.sap.com/ec-ondemand) as there are certain caveats regarding field lengths, etc. Ensure that your enterprise structure in Employee Central makes sense from an SAP perspective, because certain objects (e.g. a Department) can be shared by multiple parent objects (e.g. Divisions) and you need to ensure it will make sense in SAP in terms of workflows etc.

  • "Posting with reference to pur. order only possible for integrated whse"

When I try posting GR with mvmt type 101 wrt PO  I am receiving the error “Posting with reference to pur. order only possible for integrated whse”
The scenario is  storage lcation is maintained  with the external warehouse management .
Is there anything i need to maintain warehouse as decentralised one or should i need to maintain any moment types or is there anything else i should maintain in the customisation.
Kindly guide me regarding this as I am new to WM ,Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,
In my case i have not maintained as decentralised one.
also the thing is  there is no warehouse house  data managed over here .the requirement is when connected to extended warehouse  the system has to create inspection lot after the GR has done ,
whereas in normal scenario everything is normal,
can you please suggest what should be done in this case.
Also if possible can you please tell me what from the scratch so that it will be helpful to come through .

  • Posting with reference to pur. order only possible for integrated whse Message no. L9510

    Hi,
I´m trying to setup a reversal for movement type 102 trough our Decentralized warehouse but without any luck.
I have check some of the entries in customizing from the path down below, and also check some of links here on the community but still not getting anywhere
Logistics Execution→Decentralized WMS Integration→Central Processing→Application→Define Interface to Inventory Management and Delivery-Relevant Data.
Assign WM movement type references to IM movement types
Delivery-Relevant Parameters for Reference Movement Type
I could see from my our own reversal without WMS this setup is by delivery type DOG to pick the part wiht movement type:102 reference to WM.
However I still getting the error for WMS every time I try from MIGO with reference to Phurchase order, Indbound delivery, or material document.
Could anyone share me with some knowledge on that area.
Looking forward to hear from you.
    Added file "picture"
    Regards
    Claus

I sent you a solution in you topic Albert.
Claus, again, no luck, sorry, you should always get informed about the functionalities of decentralized WM before implementing it, if you want to do a return to your vendor here's the process.
Decentralized isn't the same thing as standard WM, there are a LOT of limitations.
Here's the process by which you can achieve the required:
    (return delivery to vendor)
*ERP* Set return delivery type => e.g. RL for doc.type/plant combination here:
IMG => MM => Purchasing => Purchase Order => Returns Order
*ERP* XK02 - In account control data, maintain customer in vendor master record for your vendor you are returning the goods to
*ERP* XK02 - check "Return Vendor" checkbox (purchase view - control data) field is: LFM1-KZRET
*ERP* Finally you can create the delivery using VL10B based on your PO number
*WMS* In decentralized WMS, you will get a replica of the OB delivery, process it as usual and you are done.
    Hope it helps,
    Mihailo.

  • What are the integration points with sd and qm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points with SD and QM.
    in r/3.
    regards,
    balaji.t

    Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM.  Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.
    thanks

  • IRecruitment,SSHR,OLM Integration points with Core HR

    Hi,
We are going for implementation for the above mentioned modules. Can I have these modules integration points with core HR?. Also can any one provide the BR100 docs of these modules?
    Thanks & Regards
    Raaid

My suggestion is to get the white paper of each product.
SSHR is same as Core HR. It is Self Service funtionality of Core HR.
Irec integrate with HR at the person, applicant assignment etc.
OLM intregrate with Core HR at person and assignment, org level.

  • What are the integration points with sd and pm

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    good morning to all,
what are the integration points SD and PLANT MAINTAINCE.
    REARDS,
    balaji.t
    09990019711

    Balji,
There is no major integration b/w SD and PM.
But PM is integrated with CS for all service and repair orders.,
If you really want to see where they can be ssen integrated
    Eg:
Pm deifines the roles for the people in shopfloor,if you can make use of these roles and give authorization of removal of credit block to them then it is integrated.
Even when a new machine is purchased or repaired or overhauled the amount is passed to repective cost center internally.

  • Create table with references pointing to values in a different schema

    Experts,
Is it possible to create table in one schema with references pointing to column values in a different schema?
    Say, I have 2 schemas A and B
A has employee table and and B has dept table, I want to run the below alter statement, will this work?
    ALTER TABLE A.EMP ADD (
    FOREIGN KEY (DEPT_ID)
    REFERENCES B.DEPT (DEPT_ID));
I know there is no sense in doing this, still would like to know for making some temporary workaround.

Yes this is possible with right privilege:
    SQL> grant connect, resource to a identified by a;
    Grant succeeded.
    SQL> grant connect, resource to b identified by b;
    Grant succeeded.
    SQL> connect b/b
    Connected.
    SQL> create table p (x int primary key);
    Table created.
    SQL> grant references on p to a;
    Grant succeeded.
    SQL> connect a/a
    Connected.
    SQL> create table c (y int);
    Table created.
    SQL> alter table c add foreign key (y) references b.p(x);
    Table altered.
