Enterring Wifi Password with spaces on printer

We are trying to set up our new Officejet 4630. Our network password contains a space between two words. How do I enter a space on the keypad on the printer?? I am having trouble connecting using the software from my computer so I'm trying it directly on the printer. Please advise as quickly as possible.

I would like to assist you today with entering a wireless password with a space in it on the front panel of your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. Please follow the steps below.
Be aware that special characters (&*$%@#) and spaces may cause wireless connectivity issues. Therefore, if the setup fails after manually entering the password, you may have to alter your password to eliminate the space.
On the front panel of your printer select the down arrow until you see Wireless
Select OK on wireless
Down arrow to Wireless Setup Wizard
Select OK on Wireless Setup Wizard
Select OK on your Network Name SSID
When prompted use the number pad to enter the password. The password is case sensitive.
For the space you would need to hold the pound sign (#) button for a moment. Then tap the # to select the second option. The image for the space is beside the # pound sign on the button in red above. Release the # button once the space is highlight. Then proceed with your password.

Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID.

5s doesn't allow me to enter wifi password

Just purchased 5s and although it recognizes my home network it just says unable to join without giving me the option to enter wifi password.

Reset Network Settings under Settings > General > Reset, and try again.

Prime Infrastructure SSH password with space

Hi,
We have Prime Infrastructure 1.2 installed and now starting to populate the inventory with the devices list.
However, it seems like the system does not accept password with space character inside.
Anyone knows the fix / workaround to make this work?

I suddenly cannot connect to my home wifi with my ipad. My laptop ,not apple, connects okay. When I go to settings and my wifi and click on it needs a password but i cannot find a place to enter the password! can someone help me?

have recently changed my wifi password and since doing so the printer wont connect. I enter the new password and the connection say security key is incorrect?

I just purchased the Ipad with wifi. As I am going thru setting it up for the first time it takes me to the page to select a wifi network. I select the one I have from COX. However this is the lock icon. When I select it I do not have the option to enter a password. How do I resolve this issue?

When you choose your own network, the lock only means it's locked to anyone who doesn't have access to the password. Once you choose it, wait a minute or so and a box should come up (your iPad will be looking at IP addresses, etc., the first time through, so it may take a minute). When the password box opens, usually your iPad is looking for the encryption key code from your wireless router. The encryption key code is usually found on a sticker on the router is most often a 9 - 13 digit code comprised of numbers and letters.

I usually find that if use the offered option to browse to the file using the browser/picker provided, all this is taken care of. Thunderbird will use a technique widely emplyed on the web, where spaces are encoded as %20. Other potentially troublesome characters such as slashes and colons will get similar treatment.
As an aside, 20 is hexadecimal for the decimal value 32, which is the standard value in ASCII and many other encodings for the space character. So %20 is a particular notation that advises that the character with hexadecimal value 20 is to be used.
In general "C:\Program Files\example\example.txt" ought to work too.
But your problem may be specific to the particular context. I have had a long standing issue where I want to send a link to a file on a shared network drive and the link sent via Thunderbird has refused to work as an active link. The recipient generally had to copy and paste the provided pathname. This seems to have resolved itself in a recent update of Thunderbird. If you're using an add-on then the problem may be inherent in that add-on, or in a rather obscure difficulty with giving the Thunderbird process access permission to work with local files.

When you're entering the password, are you being sure to check the "remember this network" checkbox that's on the box where you type your password in? If you don't, every time you reconnect to your network, you'll be asked to re-enter it. Also, is this happening only when you restart your machine or wake it from sleep, or is it happening every time you quit your browser and re-open it?
Keep at it! There's a learning curve with any new equipment, but as someone who switched from PCs myself about five years ago, I can tell you that it's worth it.

Change Password with spaces not working

I have configured password policy in OIM as Minimum length as 8
Min Numeric characters 6
Min Uppercase Characters 1
Special Character Minimum 1
Disallow last passwords 12
Now at the time of changing password it is accepting spaces in password and when we trying to log in with that password [password having spaces] it is not accepting and we are not able to log in with taht user

HT1369 is there any way to enter your password with a broken screen

I lost my iphone 4s and had to get a new one. when I found my old one it had been run over. It powers up, but the touchscreen wont work at all. It is password protected and I just want to get my pictures off of it. When I plug it in to my computer, Itunes tells me the phone is locked and needs me to enter the password into the phone. I know the password but have no wat to enter it. Any ideas?

You need to attach working front assembly to the broken iPhone, or replace the front assembly. Or remove the Logic Board and transfer it to another iPhone 4S, so you can unlock and access your photos.

I cannot access my router's web configuration interface since Firefox 4. It does not let me enter a password with the username blank (as specified by the router manufacturer). Is there a workaround for this?

since updating to Firefox 4, I cannot access my router's configuration page (http://192.168.x.x). When prompted for the username and password,Firefox's log in window does not accept a blank username field (The router does not require a username, only a password, and it's the default password). If I click OK, the password entry just comes up again. This works fine in other browsers. Is there anything I can do about this?

I had this issue, too, and fixed it by turning off the option "Tell Websites I do not want to be tracked" under Options->Advanced->Browsing.

Honestly I cannot tell you why. The ability to do this exists on my Mac with Keychain so I do know what you mean, but I cannot tell you what Apple's reasoning was for this. I would assume that it is a security thing.
