help. my two year old daughter had a one-on-one with the keys of my macbook and now the quality of the screen is off, plus when i use one finger on the touchpad, i move all the opened windows around. i restarted the computer and the problem was not solved, though in the restarting process i think i saw the screen saver back to its original sharpness. it's as if i was working on the safe mode, if that still exists.

Check in System Preferences>Universal Access and see if Zoom is on. If you have toddlers or cats this can accidentally turned on by hitting a group of keys that include Option + Command + 8.
To prevent this being accidentally activated in the future go to System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access and uncheck all the boxes.

In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

Delete the music in your iTunes library, then go to iTunes store, Quick Link, 'Purchased' to redownload again.

I was messing around with .kext files in the MacintoshHD and now my MacBook Pro won't start up.

I was messing around with .kext files in the MacintoshHD and moved the system.kext and two others to my desktop and deleted the originals and now the MacBook Pro won't start up. All I get at start up is the apple icon then a bunch of text shows up part of which says Mac OS version: not yet set. then the apple icon turns into the power icon and tells me to turn off the computer. I've tried reinstalling from the install DVD by holding down option when powering on and selecting the install DVD and it just goes to a white screen with the apple icon and stays like that. I didn't have the disk utility on my Mac before this happened because I deleted it to make room on my computer a while ago so I'm not sure if that's why it won't load the install DVD but anyone who knows the solution to this with out going to get it repaired would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Never mind my dad just found the original install DVD and that worked. Before I was using an install disc that Apple sent me for another issue I was having, but thanks for replying so quickly and trying to help on this Thanksgiving day!!!

Problems with "no color" in the "Fill and Stroke"

I am having problems with “no color” in the “Fill and Stroke” function of Flash CS4 Pro.
I had been using CS4 for 10 days and everything worked fine. Then I tried experimenting with various color combinations (along with “no color”) for “Fill and Stroke” for a simple button. Suddenly CS4 locked up on me while I was working with the “color panel”. A second color panel appeared in the upper left corner and the program was not responding. All I could do was to end the CS4 task.
After that, whenever I created even a simple rectangle, at first the colors would appear as indicated for “Fill and Stroke”, but when I selected the object to see its properties, either the stroke or the fill color box would have a red slash line, indicating a “no color”, and I couldn’t select the color box to change it using the ink bottle tool, although the other box worked fine.
Rebooting did not help. So I uninstalled CS4 (and didn’t keep the preferences), rebooted, then reinstalled it. The problem was still there. Logging on as another user didn’t help. I tried restoring the Windows system to before I installed CS4 and resinstalling it and that didn’t work. I have a disfunctional CS4 now and I don’t know what to do to fix it. Please help me. Have you updated flash to 10.0.2? Have you played around with a bunch of different selections, objects, and so forth to see if this box is always incorrect? I think there's some particular selection (order of selecting things, and so on), where the color swatches in one location don't work as expected. However, it should not happen all the time and from what I recall it was fairly easy to work around (I can't even figure out what this was - so probably not it, as it seems hard to run into or perhaps now fixed).
Also make sure you have the stroke selected - if you don't have everything selected, either the fill or stroke will show no color and dim depending on the selection.

A larger monito is only helpful if the resolution is the same as your current monitor, and they tend to have higher resolutions as you get larger, so don't rush out an buy a larger monitor and expect miracles. If you have a 22" now and it's "HD" (1920 x 1080), you'll see some change as you go up in size, but you'd probably need at least a 27" screen at 1920 x 1080 to notice a real difference.
Right click on the desktop and choose Screen Resolution and you can see the current settings (probably the maximum value which is recommended) and other settings you can use. Lowering the resolution will make everything on the screen larger, but less stuff will fit. Used to be, too that ID did not work will at less than the maximum resolution setting for any monitor.
I did not mean to use the larger fonts feature, by the way, as far as I know that doesn't affect the ID user interface.
The point I was making, rather badly, is that those of us with declining eyesight are getting shafted because there is no way to make use of all the monitor potential and adjut the user interface to make things visible. I just bought a 30" monitor to replace my old 27" which had 1920 x 1200 resolution and was pretty usable, things were about the same size as my old sony 20" running at 1600 x 1200, but even though it is larger in terms of screen size, the new monitor is even higher resolution and things are actually smaller. The only reason I can use it with ID is I know where everything is.

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine.

Layout the picture and text (in text boxes) the way you want them in the lower half of the page. Then Select All and Group them. With the Group selected, type Cmnd+D to duplicate it and then hold down the Shift and Command keys and grab a corner box (you’ll see a double headed arrow) and rotate the box until it’s upside down. (Holding down the Shift key will constrain the rotation to 45 and 90 degree positions.) Now drag the box into position in the top half of the page.

You can't go directly from the Touch to the Shuffle, but if you can get the music into your itunes library on your computer, you'll be able to sync that music to the Shuffle no problem. They seem to be more or less the same thing, but deleting photos in one place does not delete them elsewhere.
When I tried to import from my camera to my iMac computer the computer would not recognized 900 of the 920 photos on the camera so I had to (successfully) use the Image Capture application to import them.
I want to delete photos from my iPhone 4 in order to free up storage (I only have 8GB.) But in synching I do not want to delete any images from my iPhoto on my computer.
Is there a way that I can Delete All under Edit in either Photos or Camera on my iPhone and check about 20 ijmages to remain on the iPhone? I could find no command to Select All and then uncheck the 20 photos I want to keep.

I have Version 6.1.3 because the clogged storage will not allow me to upload Version 7.1. Catch 22. This is basically a storage issue, I believe. I cannot delete enough stuff on my iPhone to allow me to either back up or upload the new OS 7. I am unwilling to pay for more storage in iCloud, so I want to delete stuff I don't need. But I haven't yet figured out how to successfully do that. I synch my phone and computer. I want to delete mail on the Mail app and photos and still keep my photos on my computer on iPhoto, but not on my phone. I seem unable to do that. Any advice?
