Entities & data not visible in MDS explorer

I created a model and then added an entity via the Excel addin.
I can see there is data in this entity and can query it from excel.
The issue is when i try to view the entity and data in MDS Explorer nothing shows up.
There are some drop down menus, but they appear to expand behind the panel where the data would be shown, so i cant see if my entity is actually on the menu.
Is this a silverlight issue or MDS issue and how can it be resolved?
UPDATE: if i delete any empty entities in the model and then go to explorer, the entity with data is now first in the list and loads, so i can see the data.
The issue is the menus (Entities, Hierarchies, collections, Explorer) in the Explorer window expand behind the panel that shows the entity details, and so i cant select the entity i want from the menu, as i cant see it!
Is this really a production ready product?

Phone not visible in Windows Explorer - post 10.3 upgrade

I installed 10.3 on my Q10 no problem, saw the Blend icon and decided to install (having used it on the work Passports) so a couple of things....
1. Blend now downloaded - but wants to install on an F:drive - which would be the Q10.
2. When connected via USB (or wifi) the Q10 is not visible in Windows Explorer (it was fine in 10.2)
3. Can see the drivers begin to install, but then it rolls back and a 'Install failed, cannot find F:drive' appears.
4. Is Blend intended for use on the Q10.
Anyone got any ideas I can try?

Found it, you have to go into Settings > Networks and Connections > Connection Services > USB and slide the USB Mass Storage Mode to the on position. It will then show as an ext. hdd in Windows Explorer.

SQL Expression Fields button not visible in Field Explorer

Hi,
On my Crystal Reports installation I can see the button SQL Expression Fields in Field Explorer but it is not visible on client's installation.
How do I make it visible? I need to create a new report with SQL query for client.

Commands are intended to replace the standard linked tables that must users are accustomed to.
I suppose Commands would be considered an "advanced" feature, considering that they require the developer to be able to hand write SQL (our at least copy it from another SQL editor).
If you are comfortable writing reading, writing & editing SQL, Commands will open a the door to a whole new level of control when it comes to creating your data sets.
The biggest problem w Commands is also it's greatest strength... If you're using a Command, CR will assume that you know what you're doing and will not try to rewrite or optimize your SQL in the background. You write it, CR sends it. That means if you write crappy SQL, CR will send your crappy SQL to the db server...
It also means that you can use join types that aren't available in CR and use sub-queries in in your SQL... Basically anything you can do in the db's native editor.

Navigational attribute data not visible in BEx Report

Hello All,
I am facing following problem in one of my BEx reports:
I am fetching data from an ODS. With other columns of ODS, I have also to show few navigational attributes( which are master data of some info-object) . In report the corresponding data in navigational attributes is not visible for few records, although when I see the master data of this Info-object (whose navigational attributes I have to include), in Adm. Wrkbench the data is visible. I wonder what step is missing.

While trying to activate the Infoobject's master data (by right-click) I get the following message,
"Lock NOT set for: Loading master data attributes"
And the data is not activated.
Can you please suggest what needs to be done.

PDF form data not visible when opened in Illustrator CS5

I've been searching the forums but have been unable to find an answer to my specific problem.
I've created a form using Adobe Acrobat Pro. The PDF form fields are then populated with data via Netsuite. When I open the PDF (with data) in Acrobat all of the information shows up, however when I open the PDF in Illustrator CS5 the field data is not visible. Is there a way to force the data to be visible when opened in Illustrator?

You could try first flattenening the fields. This converts the field appearances to regular page contents. You can do this with JavaScript, PDF Optimizer, or a Preflight fixup.

Data not visible in ODS though available in PSA

Dear All,
I am working on BW where data extraction is from CRM. The client needs reports after survey is carried out in a set of questionnairres containing questions and answer. Currently four set of questionnairres is created in the dev server and sample data is updated.
Till last week we were getting all the transaction data for all the questionnairres, now one of the questionnairres is modified and after extraction we find that for the modified questionnairres we are able to extract the corresponding questions and answer option upto the PSA but the data is not visible in the ODS.
what could be the reson for the same?
Any help will be suitable awarded with points!

Hi ,
Are requests reaching the DSO...IF yes Try to check whether your request in DSO is getting activated .
Check whether new field is added and same has been mapped through transformation.
Did you try to see the monitor at the time of loading and try to trace the cause there if the requests are not getting updateded to the DSO

Tab Not Visible in Internet Explorer 10

We have developed application using oracle apex 4 and oracle 11g xe as database. Application runs perfect in Internet Explorer 8 and 9, Recently we upgraded browser to IE10 problem we are facing is there are more than 10 tabs in the application all the tabs are not visible in the application. Please suggest me how to fix this issue.

The fix you want is for the 10 tabs to work again in IE. Oh, boy! I hope someone can help with that.
But stepping back for a moment, 10 is a lot of tabs. Is 10 tabs all there will ever be? What if you need an 11th tab? I'm pointing out that it might be time to consider changing the way navigation is done. Now no one likes to comtemplate all the work and user disrutpion of changing the navigation method. But there's only so much room for displaying tabs.
But please see {thread:id=2519792} for some ideas.

Loaded data not visible for Reporting?

In the info cube, the data is not visible for reporting, How can i make it available for reporting,
When i select the Manage option from the context menu of the cube and select the Requests Tab, i get a pop up message that tells
" There is an inconsistency between the load status of the data and the option of reporting on this data.
There is data in the InfoCube/ODS object that is OK from a quality point of view, but is not yet displayed in reporting.
The problem, for example, is to do with request 0000018049, number REQU_F4ZBFRMDGBULE9WCUN3R5UX5X."
How do i find out the inconsistancies?
PS: All the requesta are delta upload

Use the RSRV transaction and check the inconsistency of the cube ..If any inconsistency is there repair that with the repari option in the toolbar..

Meanwhile, please mak sure to turn on network discovery under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings
Make sure that"client for microsoft network" is installed under the network connection\properties

Dashboard data not visible for the users - buffer issue?

It occurred several times last weeks that some out of 7 dashboards are not visible to the Dashboard users.
The scenario is the same all the time: users fills in the data, reviews it and posts some comments. Next morning the user canu2019t see the data in the system.

IF your Company has NEtweaver License and the SAPNET User has access right to download section, you must be able to add SP Stacks to Download Basket.
If you have license and use have access, then please contact with local SAP Subsdiary for this problem.
But to be able to download some patches, you must have Solution Manager & Maintanance Optimizer to approve the items in basket.

Field data not visible in Association Applet

Hi all,
There is a vanilla applet "Organization Assoc Applet" of type association list based on business component "Assignment Group Organization"which has two list columns namely Division and Organization.To this applet I added one more list column based on a vanilla field Main Phone Number,but after compiling when I checked data for field Main Phone Number is not visible but as usual data for other two fields(Div and Org) were visible.
Could someone help me in this?

Where you've added the column? to the Base or Query applet template?
May help you:

Open the Applet in web layout and check the selected Application, it should match your application.
If you don't see the Application follow thiw:
in tools --> View --> Toolbars --> Configuration Context
if the selected Application is the correct one then go to "Applet web template" --> select the wanted template --> goto the web template items --> make sure that no duplicate "item identifire" exist!

Data not visible in query output

Hi Gurus
I have a report which is being published at the portal but the data is not visible for it...now when i check the query for that report and try to run it. i still don't see any data..now on further analysis when i use the same filters used in the query on the multiprovider on which the query is created i can see the data and when i run the report in RSRT, i can see the data...but don't know why its not visible when i execute the query or the report on the the portal....plz suggest..points will be awarded..

Check the query with Bex Analyzer; If it give you the correct result then It might be configuration problem with your JAVA settings..
Please try And also run Support Desk Tool
(SAP Note 937697 ) to figure out the configuration Issues....

Data not visible in ODS

I have loaded the data to the ODS through a falt file . the load was successful and when i tried to see from contents the data is not visible.
But when iam seeing indiviually from all the tables the data is visible.

Hi Mahima,
To see the data in ODS, you need to activate it by going to Manage screen of the ODS and then click on the Activate button at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the appropriate request from the list and click Start.
After activating the data will move to the Active Table of the ODS and you can see it through contents.

Tab Purchase Order Data not visible via CIC

Hi All,
I have a problem with displaying the tab Purchase Order Data via the Customer Interaction Centre. If I create an order via CRMD_ORDER then this tab is visible, only not via the CIC.
In tcode CRMV_SSC we use the folling for other tabs like Partner, Sales, etc.:
Screenprofiletype TSAL
Screen Profile: ZRAP
Tabstrip Panel: HDTSAL
Programm: SAP_LCRM_TSALES_UI
With the combination above the tab Purchase Order Data (function code SALES_PURC) is not visible in the dropdownlist with available functioncodes. The system indicates that this functioncode is not available in programm SAP_LCRM_TSALES_UI.
Questions i have are:
Is SALES_PURC the correct functioncode for the tab Purchase Order Data?
How can i make this tab visible via the CIC?

Hi Michael,
SAP is designed to send a XML file from a purchase order or any other document type (delivery, sales order, transportation, etc) with very little effort. This means, that SAP delivers already a solution for that which the customer needs to set up.
To create a PDF file actually requires quite a lot of custom development, specially to comply to the layout the customer requires. This is usually a task that goes from the testing team to the development team back and forth a few times before it is accepted.

WRV210 Administration pages not visible in Internet Explorer

I recently updated my firmware in my WRV210 router to Version 2.0.1.5 which is the most recent on Cisco's download page. After upgrading the firmware, I found that some of the administration pages do not appear to load correctly in internet explorer version 9.0.5. For example, the ADMINISTRATION -> MANAGEMENT page has data but to see the data, I have to scroll down about 3 pages. All five entries under STATUS do not have any data visible at all which is typical for most of the other administration pages. An image of the Status Router page is inserted below. I have logged in to the administration pages with an old version of Firefox 3.0.14 and the pages are visible. The operating system that I am running is Windows 7 64bit.
I haven't run across any other entries like on this or other sites. Are there any known solutions to this?

I have a WRV210 at a client site, and after upgrading to firmware 2.0.1.5 I've noticed the same behaviour. Upon inspection of the HTML I notive the right-pane-content area contains a
element right before the form begins. This tag was intended to hold a background image/style for the content area, probably white or at least some colour other than the already blue page background. It has a defined width and height of 1000px * 2622px; If I remove the and re-render the page, the form displays at the top. So it seems this was supposed to encompass the form, but instead because it self-terminates, precedes it with a vacant space 2622px high; It seems then that this is indeed a bug, in many pages.
I've also noticed that the web server on this router is annoyingly slow, though I can't remember if it's any slower than the previous firmware revision. I, like many, purchase Cisco products for the promise of higher quality, greater stability, and better support/documentation/community than other competing manufacturers. Sometimes you win....
