Entourage 2008 sync with HTC P4000

Hi guys !
1) I know Apple doesn't support Entourage, Microsoft does, but Microsoft is evil and I still need support so that's why I'm posting here
2) I know there are alot of threads talking about this around here but I really got lost in them, that's why I'm posting a new one.
So here goes :
I'm a new MAC user.
After alot of gymnastics, I could successfully transfer everything from my PC to my MAC.
Now I finally put my PC for sale and I love my MAC.
One thing I couldn't get working.
SYNC Entourage 2008 with my Mobile Phone/PPC : a HTC P4000
First iSync won't recognize it.
So I'm stuck at this point !
PLEASE HELP !

iSync supports a specific set of mobile phones....like my Razr syncs fine. There is a list somewhere search the Apple site.
I am pretty sure they DONT support Windows Mobile phones, as I recently looked into this to support a client of mine.
There is this tool, which gets really good reviews.

It does not say it supports Entourage 2008, but I am sure its coming especially since Entourage 2008 is not much different in my opinion. (feature wise). One thing you can turn is turn on the synchronization between Entourage and address book and iCal. Then that third party tool could sync address book and iCal with your WM phone

Since En'rage does so many things the conflicting reports probably have to do with whether the program is being used just for mail, just for the calendar, or for both. For what its worth, I'm not happy with the 2011 version's performance in Lion. I've gone back to Mail and began using BusyCal

Address Book and Entourage 2008 - Problem with sync services in Entourage

Hi, all. Have had sync services working (I think) for some time but had duplicate contacts in Entourage from the syncing between in and Address Book. Turned off sync services in Entourage 2008, deleted all contacts in Entourage, then turned the services back on telling Entourage to delete Entourage info (instead of the other way around or merging).
Now I can't get any syncing to take place. And when I select the lone contact for me (that you have to have) and choose View, Synchronize Now is greyed out and can't be selected.
Any thoughts why syncing isn't working?

P.S. I tried to change the setting to combine instead of delete Entourage info and that had the same (non) effect.

I had a similar issue. I was able to sync my iPhone back to my Mac and that restored the addresses although all the categorization was lost. I have no idea why this happened to you.

Entourage 2008 sync problems fixed?

Hey Entourage users,
Is Entourage 2008 now synching correctly with Address Book?
FYI I bought Office 2008 the minute it came out, but when I imported Mail and my Apple Address Book, with synching turned on, Entourage kept replicating records each time it synched, leaving me with many multiple address listings in Entourage, and screwing up Address Book as well.
Now that there have been patches, I'm curious if this has been fixed. (I don't think anyone will blame me for not wanting to repeat this process again if it's not going to work.) I really need the PIM features of Entourage 2008 and would love for it to be finally usable.

Address book sync'ing working fine with 2004 and 2008 fully patched. I'm still running issues with iCal/Entourage/iPhone sync'ing the calendars.

ICal & Entourage 2008 sync

I know that this isn't a Microsoft support forum but I'm hoping that an Entourage user out there may have some insight.
I have Office 2008 on my MacBook Pro. Under Preferences/Sync Services, I have the box checked to sync my Entourage calendar with iCal. But it doesn't work like a sync, it works like an over-write - meaning that the Entourage calendar is over-writing events in iCal, not syncing them. For example, if I add an event to iCal, it shows up perfectly there. But no matter what I do in Entourage, it does not show up in that calendar. But then if I add an event in the Entourage calendar and re-sync, that Entourage event shows up in iCal but the event I had added to just iCal (the one previous that didn't make it to Entourage) disappears in iCal.
Has anyone had any success?

Wish I could offer some good advice, but the easy syncing of iCal and Entourage 2008 so far has been impossible if not a nightmare.
When you go to import in Entourage and iCal is NOT listed as "another application", we are in HUGE trouble.
A real shame that in today's world of "New Media" and PDA's like iPhones and Blackberry that the two billionaires from Apple and MS did not provide us with easy and simple export/import/sync tools.
Maybe they should rename Office 2008 to Office 1984

Entourage 2008 Sync

I have just downloaded 4.1.25 and I am using Microsoft Entourage 12.1.2. and I get this error when trying to synchronize

I have read in this forum about this problem before, but I have only found answers saying that this was because of PocketMac not supporting Entourage 2008, but this new version 4.1.25 is supossed to work fine, but still having problems.
I was trying to sync only certain categories from the contacts in Entourge.
Anyone could help please ?

Losing calendar data in Entourage when sync with PocketMac on Blackberry

I have been using PocketMac with my Blackberry Pearl to sync with Entourage. During the last sync I lost all my calendar items in Entourage but they are all still on the Blackberry. I tried the sync again and I can't seem to get my Blackberry to put these items on the Mac. What am I missing?

Well, I don't know. I am assuming it is 6 of 16 files that need to be synced. I'm just telling you what the hotsync window says at the point that it locks up.
How do I disable the conduit and still have the datebook sync? If it's disabled, how would it sync at all? I have set the datebook to "do nothing" and the other applications sync just fine, but not datebook.
I will try the dbfixit as long as you can assure me it won't erase data. Thank you

How do i set entourage to sync with my calender on my iphone

I want to sync entourge with my iphone but when I plug it into my mac it doesnt give me a choice to sync with entourage or ical and i enabled it.
This is what shows up in the calander part under the info tab...

You would first have to disable syncing calendars from Exchange on the iPhone. Just tap Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> tap the Exchange account> Calendars OFF.

Does Entourage 2008 work with iCloud?

My iPad and iPhone are able to synch beautifully and instantly, but I cannot get my Entourage 2008 to synch its contacts and callendar. Is there any compatibility??

You can setup the email in Entourage but nothing else.
Here are the settings for iCloud Mail, choose iMap as the type of account (In Entourage)

Calendar (Entourage) Not Syncing with BB Curve 8310

I have a BB Curve 8310, and the BB Desktop Manager for Mac is not syncing my calendar (Entourage) with my BB Curve. Nothing I do works! I have used every option on the BB Desktop software, including where the software overwrites the BB.
Any ideas?

I think I'm having similar trouble. Just downloaded new Mac Desktop Software to be able to sync BB Curve 8330 with MacBook Pro and updated phone software also. Every time try to sync get error with no message or code on Calendar and Address sync "A sync error occurred. Please retry the sync." .... then puts a green checkmark like worked fine but have no addresses or calendar events transferred. Simply transferring from iCal and Mac's Address Book... very frustrating! Was using PocketMac but it wasn't syncing over newly-added contacts for some reason and was goofing my computer's calendar all up. Why can't things be easy and just WORK?

Entourage 2008 email sync with PocketPC WIndows Mobile 6

Does anybody know a software or procedure for syncronize emails between Entourage 2008 and PocketPC?
I´ve tried Missing Sync and PocketMac but unfortunately none can do it. They only include notes, tasks, contacts, calendar, but email isnt included.
I have a MacBook with Mac OS X 10.5, Entourage 2008, PocketPC with Windows Mobile 6.
Any comment or suggestion for an alternate way for do it is welcomed. Even if I need to change to another email cliente

Can't get Entourage calendar to sync with new iTouch

I am trying to Sync my Entourage calendar from my Mac to my new iTouch. I've marked the Entourage box in iTunes Info but that just seems to bring up an Entourage file inside of iCal which I never use and seems to be corrupted with random and massively duplicated items. Is there any way to sync Entourage calendar?

I know that there's an Apple Support article on this somewhere, but I don't have the link saved.

Basically, you have to let Mac OS's built in Sync Services allow Entourage to sync with iCal and then iCal will sync with the touch.
I personally never do anything in iCal either, but successfully have everything in my Entourage calendar on my iPod Touch because I let iCal be the go-between.

tonight I was trying to find a solution on how to fix this Calendar sync problem b/w Mac DM and BB
I went and tried MS Entourage.....at first I don't even know if it would work or not!!!
but I tried anyway.....
so I set everything up....everything looks find..... Entourage even sync with iCal.... I was surprise!!!! anyway...
so I synced with my BOLD and surprising enough it work!!!!
I was super happy....so I tried a few more new appointments and it kinda work too......
then for my last try, so some reason the DM on Mac sync can't complete!!!
it was kinda weird I thought
then I shut it down reboot everything....imac, BB everything
then tried again!!!!
guess what.....
this time it {edit} everything up!!!!
I sync everything was doubled again!!!!
and then it starts to deleteing my stuff....I was like come on.....give me a break!!!!
luckily I Backup EVERYTHING b4 I tried anything....
so I didn't loose much, except for my time!!!
man.....
anyone got Entourage 2008 to work with DM Mac???

Thanks I have attempted the following.
Move the Microsoft Preferences folder to the desktop.
To move the folder, follow these steps:
a. Quit any Office for Mac program that is running.
b. In the Finder, open the Hard disk:Users: user name :Library:Preferences folder.
c. Drag the Microsoft Preferences folder to the desktop near the Trash.
d. Close all the hard disk windows, and then start the Office for Mac program.
Note When you start the program, do not press the SHIFT key and hold it at the same time.
If the issue still occurs, do the following:
a. Create a new user account on the computer, and then give that user administrative rights.
b. Log on to the new user account.
c. Start the Office for Mac program
Uninstalled emptied trash rebooted and reinstalled. Still having the issues.
