Entourage Calendar Events gone bye-bye

I have the Blackberry 8130 and downloaded PocketMac for Blackberry to sync. (PocketMac v1.2(1.4)). Two annoyances have come up since my first sync:
I use only Entourage calendar and want to shut off the ICal options that keep popping up.
My last sync a number of Entourage 2008 error messages came up which I ignored, now i've lost a TON of events in my calendar prior to the sync date. I need these events and they are no where to be found.
Any ideas are much appreciated.

This happens to me as well, sometimes they suddenly comeback, sometimes I need to retrieve them from my backup. Its so annoying!
Were running af 2003 exchange sp1 server, I'm guessing it has something to do with that not a sp2 server. Most apple programs work better on that version.

Restoring iCal or Entourage calendar events

Having difficulties with MobileMe creating duplicates of the same calendar event and contacts. Entourage is my application of choice but I noticed ical was creating the same contact and calendar event every time I created it in Entourage. Further, iCAL displayed several Entourage calendars in the calendar list. So I assumed it was iCal that was updating all my devices (2 iphones, imac, macbookpro and ipad. So I deleted all the entourage calendars except one appearing in ical, then synced mobileme and ALL MY CALENDAR EVENTS DISAPPEARED in both ical and entourage on all the devices and at me.com. What's even more strange is that ipad still shows the 8 entourage calendars none of which have any events.
So what has this to do with Time Machine? Since everything was gone I figured I'd restore an earlier ical and/or entourage from Time Machine. But when I did, none of the events reappeared! Do I need to restore a specific file rather than the application? If so, where is that file?

It looks like when you deleted the Entourage calendars in iCal you deleted the wrong one, the one with all of your events. If your events are still on your iPad, I think we can get them back into MobileMe, and from there to Entourage. Fortunately for you, your iPad isn't syncing correctly, so it didn't get the instructions to delete everything.
On your iPad, go to the Settings app. click on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
Click on your MobileMe account.
Turn Calendars off. When it asks, choose to "Keep on my iPad."
Now the calendar events on your iPad are separate from MobileMe. Turning Calendar sync back on and choosing to merge your events with MobileMe should add them to MobileMe.
In the future, before you delete a calendar in iCal, uncheck all the other calendars so you can see what is in the calendar you are deleting. My guess is you had multiple Entourage calendars with the same color.

3GS update to iOS 4.0 - Calendar events gone!

Update and sync seemed to go well until I went to check my schedule. All my calendar entries were gone. The weird thing is I have a clock (simply called "Analog") which is very nice and simple, and you can toggle the month on the bottom to show dates where there are calendar events. The events were highlighted, but the calendar was empty. Odd...
Re-syncing to the Mac brought the events back and my other iPhone (both 3GS) didn't have the problem. The problem child was updated and synced on a (PPC) G5 and the second (non-problem child) was updated and synced on an (Intel) Macbook (current OS).
Otherwise no problems so far. Love the update.

iPhone 3GS -> iOS4 -> CalDav calendars appear in the list of calendars, but do not contain any entries.
If I create a new event in my CalDav calendar on the iPhone, it properly pushes the update to the CalDav server, then the entry disappears from the iPhone (the event remains on the server).

Calendar Events Gone

Hi Everyone,
Tonight all of the calendar events in my iPhone 4s disappeared. I had installed an app "CalenMob", following that, everything was gone. I deleted the app and restored the phone to a previous iCloud backup. Following the restore, the calendar events are still not showing up at all. I've checked all of the settings (I think) and still no luck.
Any advice?

in our situation we have lost only some events, our set up is 3 main calendars and three delegated users put the appointments on. The 3 main clients view the calendar in their surgeries, and two of the delegates are the two reception area delegates who make the bookings.
The third delegate is the office manager.
2 of the main accounts seem to be unaffected but one has about 20% of the calendar are now gaps (pardon the ascii pun).
The strange thing is that this inability to sync the updates for the one calendar has been present for some time, only one reception delegate has had the complete calendar. We have have put up with it while we wait for a tech' to migrate us from PPC to intell (hello Ian can you hear me!).
Yesterday though after the 10.5.3 u/grade even that delegate developed 'empty spots'.
Today we will us an exported calendar to import it into a new delegate local calendar, match the two side by side, then control click the appropriate event and transfer to to the delegated calendar.
oooorrrr Cyrus or someone with similar ability will rescue it all for us.
So far iCal server has worked as advertised (sort of), unfortunately the ad' was written by a windoze fanboy,

Calendar events gone and cannot input new events

I just uploaded the newest update for my Iphone 4, and now all of my previously entered calendar events are missing. Also I can not input any new events into my calendar. Help! I had important appointments saved there and now there gone!!!

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Old Calendar Events Gone

My calendar events from last October and beyond are no longer on my iPhone or iPad.
2 questions. Can I get them back on there and how do I keep them from disappearing in the future ?

I want to ensure I fully understand so I may further assist! In which calendar and device were your old entries stored? Are the entries in your Gmail calendar? Is so, have you tried syncing Gmail calendar the device in question? Please share more details so I may further assist. Thank you.

Why are my calendar events gone since updating to ios7

Ever since updating to iOS7 my calendar is empty. All of my events are gone. Most of them remain on my computer calendar, but that seriously isn't helping me when I am out. I have 10 kids and my calendar makes managing that possible. HELP!!!

If you have not done so already, check to see if you are syncing with iCloud. You may just need to turn on that feature to see the calendars. Check both on your computer and on your iPhone.

Entourage Calendar Events: Dates and times are not being saved accurately

After an event has been created and saved, the date and time will change pushing the event forward, but not consistently. Some events jump forward a few hours others an entire day or more. I've been using this program for many years without fault but this problem started several days ago after a recent automated software update. It is not only happening with newly created events, it has also altered events saved weeks ago! (note: time zone is set accurately in the System Preferences and Entourage)

I would check Microsoft's Entourage 2004 forum to see if others have experienced the same issue. Entourage 2004 has been replaced with Entourage 2008 awhile back. It may be those issues are fixed with 2008 and will never be in 2004, or you may need a later patch for 2004. If the automated software update was Microsoft's I'd contact Microsoft, if it was Apple's, this may just be a sign you need to upgrade your Microsoft to keep up with Apple. Whenever you do a system level software update you always need to verify compatibility bugs don't exist with the newer system when you are talking about other third party software. There are way too many third party software titles out there new and old for Apple to test with its own system given the time frame people desire updates.

Calendar events gone when I open it

Nothing there. Completely gone. What do I do to get them back? I am not resetting anything because last time I did that my iPad crashed with a spinning circle for three days. and iCloud is worthless because I have no idea what's on there, can't do anything but push backup and hope it works, and that's SO NOT Apple of the good years with Steve.
I have lost all faith in Apple. All they care about is market share now that Steve is gone.
And it still doesn't charge.

Go to another month and then back.
Otherwise keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo in your screen.

Importing Entourage calendar categories to iCal

I have my Entourage calendar events color-coded using categories (ie yellow-bdays/anniv, blue-travel, green-meetings, etc.) and need to switch over to iCal so I can use ePocrates on my Treo. Is there any way to import Entourage to keep the categories, without having to go thru and individually reassign events in iCal to specific calendars? When I have tried importing Entourage to iCal, everything goes to a Entourage calendar and I lose all my categories.

Is this a one-time switch? If so, the easiest thing might be to set up a "view" in Entourage for each of your categories. (If you haven't done this before it's pretty easy to do, create a new view, select the filtering options you want, in this case "Category" "Is" <category name here>). Save the view and then select it under "Calendar Views" in the Calendar window.
When you select the calendar view you will see all your events for that category. You can select all of them and then drag them to either you desktop, or a folder. This will create an individual .ics for each of them. You can then drag all the .ics files at once into an open iCal window. Whatever calendar is active in iCal is the calendar the events will be imported to.
You'll need to repeat this for each category -> calendar combination.
(I just tried this and it worked for me, you can even undo the import if you so desire.)
If you need to sync the 2 programs then this obviously won't do it for you. I don't know of any programs out there that would do this, so if you really need it you could create an applescript to take care of all of this. (That would be time-consuming, but once you get one category -> calendar process scripted it should be easy after that!)

ICal Entourage calendar totally wiped out.

I have been syncing my iCal and Mail with Entourage for the last month. It's worked just fine. I keep a two calendars in iCal-a Personal one, and an Entourage calendar to link with the Exchange 2003 server at work. Yesterday, suddenly, all the Entourage calendar events disappeared, from everywhere. Since I back up to MobileMe and Time Machine, I thought no problem. I'll get one of the backups. No can do. I have spent a day trying to recover my Entourage calendar. I thought this is why I bought MobileMe and use Time Machine. I hope someone can help me find my calendar data.

I did find out you shouldn't use MobileMe to sync iCal and an Exchange account, i.e. Entourage.

Entourage will not sync with iCloud, not now, probably not ever, time to change.

the events in my personal calendars were gone when i launced. the calendar names are still visible [and checked for viewing], but all of the entries are gone.
except for the holiday calendar that i'm subscribed to.

Try making a new user login and using iCal in the login. If it works ok this means that the problem has something to do with the data in your user login.
The most likely thing to have gone wrong if it is in your user data is a corrupted calendar. This can show up in various ways. The most common one is not being able to see the event data in any of your calendars.
Try this: Open iCal. Take a tick out of every calendar check box in the list. Add a tick into one calendar. Do the events for this calendar appear? Uncheck this calendar and try doing the same with the next one. Do this for all of your calendars in the list. What works, what doesn't?
How do you sync your data? With .mac, or with other software?
