Entourage X HTML email display issue

I started receiving HTML based emails (i.e. like those from eBay, PayPal, etc) with nothing in the message body but a blank white page.
This problem started 2-3 months ago. Before that I was able to read HTML-based email. I did not change any settings or anything, this problem suddenly started itself.
Does anyone know the fix for this? I have to turn off the HTML display function for now so that I can read what's written in the email.
Thanks

Can someone please help me.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
first try those steps in the same sequence :
    1- Register your Handheld .
KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.
    2- Resend your Service Book

3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back
After reboot , On your device go to Setup > Email account >  try to setup your email account and check if you recieve the same error . If you still recieve the same error then use your BlackBerry browser and browse to www.blackberry.com/integrate to add / edit any of your email account .

  • Lion Mail5.1 HTML emails display problems...

    Hello all Lion Professionals,
Does anyone know why I see some HTML emails in a very bad way?
When I receive emails that includes pictures and HTML code the message fall apart, the images included in the message are there, but as an attachment...
It doesn't matter how it was the e-mail written 'bad evidence#2' when I've simply send to myself one test note from my own mail app, or simply a get a formatted newsletter 'bad evidence#1' from one partner (which it is perfect in any others mail applications and OS)...
Generally the Apple system emails are displayed properly...
Now I use Mail5.1(OS Lion) but I've face this problem before with Snow Leo too!

  • HTML table display issues in Safari and Firefox

    Hey,
A few days ago, in both firefox and safari, i noticed that whenever i go to certain sites with (i'm assuming) what are HTML tables, they aren't displaying properly. The tables are going way bigger than they should.
ex. When i go to craigslist.org and click on any link, each item on the page has way more space between lines than it should. To see what i mean check out these screen capture.

Also, perhaps a related issue, in Firefox, the page scrolling isn't smooth anymore when i use my trackpad.
I tried trashing the preferences for each browser in my library, to no avail. Any help would be awesome. thanks

hey thanks. The links in the orgininal post are fixed. To view the difference, look at the captures, then type in the url that appears in the captures to see what it should look like.

  • Email display issue

I receive emails fine on both my Outlook and yahoo acounts.  On the main summary page the display is fine, but when I select the email I want to view the body of the email is blank.  Nothing is there.  If I hit reply or forward the original emai body shows up.  But that is the only way I can view an email.  Did I accidently change a setting?  I can't find a way to fix this.  Any suggetions would be appreciated.

  • Entourage and me email authentication issue

Hi Everyone, before someone mentions it, I know I need to upgrade my software, but for right now this is what I am working with, and I kind of get by with it for now. Anywho, I recently updated my e-mail to a @me.com address. When I added the account into my Entourage I had no problem authenticating, and I receive mail with no problem. Untill today when I went to forward a message using my (outdated) MacBook Pro, instead of my iPhone, I received an error message explaining that Entourage does not support any of the available authentication methods.
In a nutshell, I have no idea what that means and what to do. Please help by telling me how to fix this, or how to obtain the new software without spending a fortune to take care of the issue altogether
    thanks everyone!

Why not use Apple Mail on your MacBook Pro?

  • Lumia 920 no HTML email?

four days into my first WM phone, I cannot find the settings to receive my emails in HTML. Are there?
Very frustrating to see garbled messages instead of a HTML mail.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
As well as an issue with the phone settings, this issue could also depend on the mail server you use.
If you set up the email account to a non-Microsoft server as "Outlook (Outlook.com, Exchange, Office 365)" all HTML emails appear as plain text
If you set up the account using "Other Account" and use IMAP, all HTML emails display correctly.
This might suggest that the "Outlook" implementation on Windows Phones is specifically developed for 'Microsoft' servers.
We can therfore assume that this will affect all Windows Phone Users that wish to use ActiveSync on  non-Microsoft servers or non-supported platforms such as Exchange 2003.
    Thanks.

  • Some HTML Emails Do Not Display Properly

Recently, some HTML emails do not display properly in Mail. All I see is HTML. Yet, 98% of my HTML emails render properly.
Any thoughts on why this happens with some emails? Is it a Mail issue or are these emails not coded properly?

    Hello Tony.
Could be a combination but since Mail renders 98% of of all HTML messages properly (using Safari as the engine), this indicates it is a coding problem.
I'm not a big fan of using HTML with email since it introduces a number of problems. If everyone used Plain Text for message composition, the majority if not all problems experienced with email would be eliminated.

  • HTML Email Issue

My problem is strictly an Outlook 2007 HTML issue.  Now I'm trying Mailchimp to send an email.  The problem is with thier footer.  They are telling me its my code that is causing the display issues with their footer.
I have run the Dreamweaver Outlook 2007 Browser Validator from the MSDN website ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa338201.aspx ) and I have run my page through the W3 Validator ( http://validator.w3.org/ ).  No errors are appearing and it is only their footer which is causing the issue.
Here is the code that Mailchimp has which they want to show a grey shaded box with a top and bottom border:
    <center><table width="95%" style="clear:both;margin:0px !important;padding:0px !important;margin-top:20px !important;border-top:1px solid #999 !important;border-bottom:1px solid #999 !important;" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr>
        <td align="left" style="padding:10px !important;margin:0px !important;color:#666 !important;background:#CCC !important;width:50% !important;border-bottom 1px solid #999 !important;font-family:Verdana,Arial,Sans !important;font-size:11px !important;font-weight:normal !important;font-style:normal !important;text-decoration:none !important;vertical-align:middle !important;text-align:left !important;">
            Sent to *|EMAIL|*.  <a href="*|UNSUB|*" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Sans !important;font-size:11px !important;font-weight:normal !important;font-style:normal !important;text-decoration:none !important;color:#03C !important;">Unsubscribe</a> |
            <a href="*|UPDATE_PROFILE|*" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Sans !important;font-size:11px !important;font-weight:normal !important;font-style:normal !important;text-decoration:none !important;color:#03C !important;">Update Profile</a> |
            <a href="*|FORWARD|*" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Sans !important;font-size:11px !important;font-weight:normal !important;font-style:normal !important;text-decoration:none !important;color:#03C !important;">Forward to a Friend</a>
        </td>
        <td align="right" style="padding:10px !important;margin:0px !important;color:#666 !important;background:#CCC !important;width:50% !important;border-bottom 1px solid #999 !important;vertical-align:middle !important;text-align:right !important;">
            *|REWARDS|*
        </td>
    </tr></table></center>
The problem is thatt this is not displaying as a table with a shaded background and top/bottom border.  It is displaying as plain text on a white background.  However, running their code through the W3 validator shows no validation errors in their code.  This leads me to believe that there is some quirk that neither myself nor their support has been able to figure out.
If anyone has any ideas as to why this is not showing properly in Outlook 2007 I am inclined to try just about anything at this point.

Ok, I found solution on Verizon forum:
    1) delete your email-related service books (options ---> advanced options ---> service books ---> delete everything with your email address on it)
    2) create an account on BIS from your phone if you haven't done so in the past (www.blackberry.com/go/vzw from your blackberry browser, it will ask for your PIN and MEID)OR update BIS account online with MEID if you have it already (Go to BIS on a computer browser then go to Change device and enter your HEX MEID).
    4) do a hard reset (using QuickPull or battery pull)
    5) Go to BIS on a computer browser, log on to your account, and re-add your email accounts
    6) You should get an email from blackberry that your email has been activated, and you'll get HTML emails back in no time!
Thanks for lilyipster and bumsy1 from that forum!!

  • HTML emails are blank in OSX Mail - but they show up fine in Entourage!

I send emails to a subscriber list through a third-party system.
The problem is what OSX Mail does with my HTML emails! OSX Mail users get emails that appear to be totally blank. On further inspection, though, the emails are not blank at all—all the information is there if you go to View>Message>Previous Alternative. In "Raw Text", the entire message shows up, including the plain text alternative which was sent along with the HTML, and which was SUPPOSED to show up if the HTML did not.
Notably, I've tested these same messages using Entourage to receive them on my Mac, and the messages show up exactly as they should. Is Apple aware of this problem????

Since in general OS X Mail receives html just, there must be something about the format used by your 3rd party sender which it does not like. To make Apple aware of the problem, use the feedback channel and send them the raw source which does not display.

  • Image not displaying in HTML email upload

    Hi there,
I've uploaded a HTML email into E10 and linked all images as per the standard process however one is just not displaying. It appears when I look at it in Eloqua, and when I do a preview but when I send a test email it won't and just leaves a blank black box. I'm not sure how I need to remedy this, anyone else come across anything similar?
    Thanks
    Marika

    Hi Marika,
From experience, in the majority of cases this happens when the Outlook HTML rendering engine isn't playing nice with your design. If you are using this client, have you checked the email on other clients or webmail (Gmail, Yahoo!, etc) to confirm? Support can usually help for emails created through the WYSIWIG editor, but custom HTML uploads would need to be reviewed by the person who authored the code. If you can pinpoint it to a particular email client, there are usually quite a few resources online that can provide guidance. Check outHTML Email Design Resources
The first thing I typically check out is whether the image is vertically and horizontally aligned with the elements near it, because Outlook has a tendency to put things into its own tables and slight misalignments can dramatically change the final code. If you're having recurring issues like this, investing in analysis tools like Litmus can be worth it.

    Bojan

  • HTML emails render as plain text.  Restarting Mail.app resolves the issue

I keep seeing this problem every day. Occasionally when I receive an HTML email (e.g. a newsletter), the HTML isn't rendered -- instead some sort of plain text equivalent is displayed, which is full of entity codes and URLs to all the images in the HTML. Clearly not right.
If I restart Mail.app when this occurs, the HTML email is ALWAYS rendered correctly. It's really annoying having to do this every day!
It seems like it could be to do with leaving Mail.app running when my Mac is in Sleep mode -- the issue always seems to occur when I wake the Mac. When I have restarted Mail.app after the issue occurs, all incoming HTML emails are rendered correctly.
Has anyone else seen this issue and do you know of a workaround? How do I submit a bug to Apple?
    Cheers,
    Olly

    Hi again:
The preference file is located in the home folder (~library>preferences). Occasionally (rare, but it happens) preference files become corrupted and then cause all sorts of odd behavior.

  • No option to enable html email. An issue with the carrier. RIM please help

I am registered as a BIS user with STC ( Saudi Telecome.  www.stc.com.sa ). I turned out that data over the air compression is turned off! As a result , I can't enable html email. resending service book , pulling the battery and upgrading OS won't enable the html option on my blackberry bold, as it is a restriction imposed by RIM when over-the-air compression is turned off by the carrier.. I am on thier unlimited package and hence I have no problem in consuming uncompressed large amout of data. Can you please enable this feature!! I hardly see the reason not to.
    Regards,

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
The answer is simple -- it's because these forums have nothing to do with your formal support. Rather, these are user-to-user forums where volunteers try to help out other kind souls as best they can. For free, formal support is only available via your carrier...who can escalate into RIM if needed. But these forums only rarely are visited by anyone from RIM...but should never be considered part of the formal support system.

  • HTML in body issues/ Outlook 2003 displays HTML as attachement/PDFs

Hi, I have a requirement to use email bursting to send out a PDF with a UPS ARS return label in it. We also send out plan HTML update emails for BI Publisher that we want to appear in the body of the email.
I'm having two problems. Before we applied patch 9501440 (which replaces patch 6135146 for BI Publisher 5.6.3 on Oracle EBS 11i) my test PDF attachment emails came across as their body being in a file called bodyText.txt as an attachment. Applying the patch fixed this issue but now our regular HTML emails which should be in the body don't work properly when received from Outlook 2003 (which is the version we're on). The HTML appears as an attachment. There's another patch for this but it's bundled as the latest roll-up for the standalone XML Publisher Enterprise Edition so I don't think we can apply it. I've opened a SAR with Oracle but they so far do not have a solution.
Does anyone know of a solution for this problem? Also, is there a way to use a template for the HTML body and another template in the same email to produce a PDF attachment. We're concerned that rendering the shipping label in HTML may cause it to not format properly when printed by end users in the field.
I can't imagine that what we're trying to do is that out of the ordinary...
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have searched all over the net and I know it is probably an issue or setting with Outlook but though somebody may have seen this or at least know what is going on.
The email is sent but is just a link / attachment for Outlook users in the email body - no text etc. They have to open it up. Asked them to check for HTML settings.
    Anyone got any pointers.
