Entries for purchases

Hi.
We have done high seas purchase of raw material. Out of that part of the goods we have sold without being physically received in the factory.
Please suggest how to do accounting of the same in sap for purchase & sale of such raw materials.
Other part we have done MIGO-MIRO for the quantity actually received in the factory.
for this senario how you have to pass the entries in sap.

Hi,
1. Logical GR indicates only document wise you will do GR for full quantity but physically GR will be for the quantity that left after sales.
2. since standard Material type ROH doesn't have sales view, you need to use customized material type which is having both purchasing and sales view.
Create new material type by copying ROH and add sales view to that material type as per FERT.

    Hi.I create a Purchase order with one item.The Item category was D(Service).Also lines of Service number was input in the Service tab of the item detail.After save the Purchase order,I goto t-code ML81N to Maintain the Service entry sheet.When I input the Purchase order number and item number and press enter,the SAP raise an error message box with following text:
    No provision for service entry for purchase order 4500000149 00010
    Message no. SE198
    Diagnosis
    The "GR =NO" (no goods receipts) indicator has been set in the PO item. It is thus not possible to enter services against this purchase order.
    I don't know why and how to resolve this problem.So I need the experts to give me some advice.Thank you so much.

    pls check in ur PO at item details in delivery tab whether goods receipt checkbox is unticked.if yes then tick it and then process.

  • Accounting entries for excise invoice for purchase returns in J1IS

    Dear Friends
    1) I  recorded an excise invoice for  goods receips in J1IEX . The  accounting entry is
    Input BED a/c   DR
    Input ECS a/c   DR
    Input H.css A/c   DR
    CENVAT clearing   CR
    2)  There were  some damaged  items and  same returned to vendor.  I  did  RETURN Delivery in MIGO.  The excise invoice  in J1IS  gives  error  " BALANCE IN TRANSACTION CURRENCY". Here I  used Ref document type - MATD 
    QUESTION : 
    What is the  Excise transaction type   for  ' other  outward movement'  in J1IS  to which I  should  assign the excise accounts   to reverse    (1) above.  Is it  OTHR  or  GPRO.

    It is not capital goods. Also  if I  do a JV in J1IH, the entry goes and is as below :
    Cenvat clrg   DR,   Input -BED /E.cess/ S.cess   CR
    But  J1IS  does not save, though I have  assigned  all  said accounts in  'Excise accts per excise  transation'   for OTHR. Also I read in wiki that  the entry for purchase return excise inv in J1IS is ' CENV CLRG  ....DR ,   CENV RECEIVABLE  ...CR ' .If so, then  do i creat new GL for Cenv Receivable ? What is its effect on  FORTNIGHTLY  UTILIZATION

  • GR for Purchase Order for Trading Goods

    Hi,
    I have a query on configuration for accounting entry for purchase orders for Trading goods.
    When i do the GR for Purchase order for a trading good, the accounting entries are,
    Inventory Dr
         GR/IR Cr
    and
    Purchase Expenses Dr
         Purchase Setoff Cr
    I understand that i can configure for the first set of posting in  BSX and WRX. How do i configure for the Purchase Expenses and Purchase Setoff.
    Please advise and correct my understanding.

    The possiblity for this scenario is
    First create the Production order in CO01
    Create of Account assinged PO in ME21N with Account assigned category as "F" with Production order
    Do the MIGO with respect to PO, then system will directly post the Stock to that Production order.
    So in the system GR is done for PO & Goods issue is done for Production order.In this way you can acheive this.

  • 4 Entries for 1 purchase of capital goods

    Dear Gurus,
    I am Purchasing excisable Capital Goods ( Either from local or Import Vendor). In both cases in RG 23 c Part 1, register shows 4 entries for only one capital purchase. BUt in RG23part2, system is considering first entry out of 4 entries from RG23CPart 1.WHy it is like that ?.
    What is the CIN Rule for AED. is is 50 % this year  and 50% next year or full 100 % in current year in case of capital goods AED.
    Please Help.

    As per Std. rule u can take the ADC credit 100% in the Current year for Capital Goods.

    I have active Purchase Account Processing in company code with t code   OBY6 and define G/L Accounts for purchase offset a/c and its going fine for new GR but for old purchase order those are partially GR they have creating problem for GR in purchase offset accounting.

  • Report for Purchase Orders didnt reach target through ALE

    Hi Experts,
    we are sending Purchase Orders to Third party system using XI.
    But some of the orders when we save its automatically  system generating output medium is PRINT so these orders not going through ALE.
    1)Can anyone please tell me why the system is generating PRINT instead of ALE distribution.
    2) is there any report for how many purchase orders created for the day and how many of them gone through successfull using ALE distribution.

    Have you configured the PO Output type/messages with the Medium as 'A'(ALE)
    otherwise the system willd efualt take 1(print) as default medium.
    Check the NAST table entries for that date created Output type of PO's
    for all of them the Medium(NACHA) field should be A
    then all will go through ALE
    check them.

    hi,
    i am facing a problem while at the time of Doing GR . it says the "No goods receipt possible for purchase order 4800000097"  when i try to proceed with the GR.
    I have checked all the necessary possibilities such as
    1.  PO has been released
    2. at the item level delivery tab GR is flagged and delivery complete option not flagged.
    3. version management is not activated
    4. i checked in the table EKPO field statistical . ther is no entry

    Please check the plant in PO and in MIGO are correct and that PO is exist in the system.
    Also check PO history in PO.

    Procedure
    Check the error log and make the required entry.
    process Step by steps:
    1- create PO (intercompany PO) --> save
    2- create SO to sell to endcustomer (at receiving company)
    3- create DO
    4- assign the previewous PO to DO  (exchange function)
    5- PGI ---> problem as above

    In this case,  if I enter itemcategory "U" into PO I can post GR and GI at the same time I do PGI. but you know if I use "U" which mean I can't enter the net price as normal because this is a "stock transfer".

    hello!
    i do not have a planning file entry for safety stock. my material has required safety stock and no quantity on plant stock. therefore MD01 should create a purchase requisition - but is does not. i do not have an entry in the planning file as well.
    any ideas what could be the reason?

    - First of all check whether MRP is activated or not for Perticuller Plant.T.code is OMDU.
    - Which MRP type is maintained for that material?
    - In rare cases (Materials uploaded by LSMW using Badi) it is observed that system miss to make the entry in Planing File.So better will be set a Back Ground job to activate Planing file OMD0 or make manual entry using T.code MD20.

    Hi experts,
         I am using output type for first time so may be i have done wrong configuration for po output type.The steps i have done are :-
    1) Going to  tcode NACE->Selected  the row u201CEF Purchase Orderu201D and clicked on u201CProcedures".
    2) In procedures there are 2 procedures for the application EF (Purchase Order). To proceed further, we would need to find out the procedure that is currently active.Gone to transaction SPRO. In this, navigate as Materials management -> Purchasing ->Messages -> Output control -> Message Determination Schemas ->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order
    3) Clicking on u201CAssign Schema to Purchase Orderu201D. So, the procedure RMBEF1 is active for EF (Purchase Order) . 
    4) Go back to transaction NACE. Select u2018EFu2019 and click on u201COutput typesu201D.
    5)  Let us use the output type u201CNEU name purchase orderu201D for this purpose. Double-click on NEU.
    6) Ensured  that the checkboxes u201CAccess to conditionsu201D and u201Cmultiple issuingu201D are checked and the access sequence is 0001(DocType/PurchOrg/Vendor).Only 0001 and 0002 is available in f4 help for this.
    7) Now clicked on u201CProcessing Routinesu201D on the left hand side. Ensured that there is an entry for Medium u2018Au2019 (Distribution ALE).
    8) After that going back to the main screen of NACE. Select EF (Purchase Order) and clicked on u201CCondition Recordsu201D.
    Select NEU and clicked on u201CCondition recordsu201D. The pop-up box appears that gives three radio button option :-
      1) Purchasing output determination :purchasing org / vendor for EDI
      2) Purchasing output determination :doc. type / purchasing org /vendor
      3) Purchasing output determination :document type
          but it is not having option only for purchasing organisation through which we can send idoc for changes or creation of PO in that particular pur.org now if i choose 2) i have to give doc type and purchasing org both bcoz they are mandatory fields and value for vendor.
    9)  Also i  have done the necessary ALE configuration (not covered in this document). In the partner profiles, use the message type u201CORDERSu201D and the IDOC type u201CORDERS05u201D.In the tab u201CMessage Controlu201D, used the process codes u201CME10u201D and u201CME11u201D for u201CPO Createu201D and u201CPO Changeu201D respectively.
    but the idoc is not generated many times when po is changed and when once it is generated it is giving error
    Please suggest solution.

    In me22n in messages tab after looking into  processing log it is giving->No recipient found for message type ORDCHG in the
    ALE model ,next time giving error as no idoc items belonging to purchasing document found,when i changed message type to ORDCHG the  status is green in messages tab it is giving-> error occured while idoc xyz is sent and in WE02 status is red 02
    error passing data to port(could not find code page for receiving system)

  • BAPI for Purchase Order Confirmation and update EKES table

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement to update the PO confirmation soon after successful creation of PO in an IDOC.
    I have used BAPI_PO_CHANGE function module which didnt serve the purpose as it cannot update confirmations.
    I tried using ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE where I was able to add a confirmation entry in EKES table but that is not being reflected in ME23N transaction when I display the PO.
    Please help me out on this.

    NB: Never use a standard update FM (check attributes of ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE) its often only a SQL statement collector without any check, logging of changes or database consistency, if you perform a where-used you should find it is never called alone but with a bunch of other update FM after checks and other update preparation.
    Get back to the BAPI and table parameter POCONFIRMATION, also use BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1 to get current data for the call of BAPI_PO_CHANGE.

    How to make down payment on the value of Purchase order not considering the PO item wise?
    The reason why i am asking is Some times if vendor does not do the service or deliver the goods returned, we normally change the PO.

    You can make down payment through  T.code F-48, while processing the down payment you can enter purchase order line item wise also.
    You have to make it Purchase order field optional entry for Field status group Reconcilation through OBC4.

    use tcode bd87 in SRM to check for failed confirmation IDOC (type MBGMCR).
    The double click the status record to see the exact cause of the failure.
    Rectify the error. Then try to execute the IDOC from BD87 tcode.
    For a few errors you may not be able to execute the IDOC but to create a new confirmation in SRM. In such cases, follow the below procedure..
    There should be an entry for the confirmation in the transfer table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB in SRM. Display the details.
    Then run FM "BBP_DELETE_FROM_DOCUMENT_TAB" to delete the entry from the doc tab table.
    Then post a new confirmation in SRM.
    There is also a FM in SRM using which you can change the status of thefailed IDOC from 51 to 68 or 31.
