Entries impossible to delete

Hello to all.
I have to apologise for my baaad English. I live in Barcelona ( Spain ), and I would like to know if problem that I have, has any solution.
I will try to do my best.
I used to have Palm PDA since iPhone appeared in Europe. As I work with Mac, I got one and all information in my Palm, transferred to iPhone.
I don't know why, many years ago, I enetered 4 different anniversary entries, and made the mistake of NO give them a final date, as if they will live forever.
In my iPhone, those 4 entries are impossible to be deleted, because there's no way to edit them, and that gives no chance to delete.
I will appreciate your kind help in simple English if possible.

That's true, but I have to apologise for my ignorance about it. Into the Advanced Tab, there are some things to do. I have it in Sapnish. I selected "Hide tasks which limit date isn't seen on calendar", and synchronised iPhone.
Entries are stilll at the same place. Hadn't move nor dissappear.
Fo sure there is something I don't know.
Please, would you mind to drive me as I was blind ?

How to get notified of entry that are deleted?

Hello,
I'm trying to get notified when an entry is deleted after a certain expiration time. The listener that I've registed gets correctly all the added/updated notification but does not get anything as far as the entryDeleted() is concerned. My guess is that either my listener is not correctly configured or that my expiration schema is wrong. Here is the configuration I'm using:

Hi Jean,
Your configuration looks right. Eviction happens lazily and on the client thread - did you wait for 15s+ and invoke any cache method (get/put/size etc) to trigger eviction ?
For example, attached MyCacheListener.main should print:
entry foo deleted, isSynthetic:true
null

Nice design: A bunch of calendar appointments that are impossible to delete

Where I used to work, we had an iCal server through which people could schedule meetings. Those appointments got synced to my phone.
I don't work there anymore, and I've deleted the "work" calendar off my system and synced. But my phone is still full of appointments from the deleted calendar, and it's impossible to delete them. Inexplicably, they lack "Delete" buttons. Look at this garbage:

If you are now syncing calendar events direct with iCal on your Mac via the iTunes sync process, under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes below the Advanced section, select Calendars for replace info on this iPhone. Select Apply followed by a sync.

While deleting project from CJ20N entries are not deleted from table PRPS

I am deleting project from CJ20N then from PROJ table entries are getting deleted but WBS element entries are not deleted from table PRPS.
Any deletion Flag should also be checked?

Impossible to delete songs in iphone touch 16 G

Hi, My father in law just received an iphone touch 16g. As i am the mac fan and he very, very PC and sony mp 3 I was very pleased to show him how to make it work and to try to explain him the genius and simplicety of apple products. But it worked out differend. We downloaded itunes, put in one of his CD to copie and copied it on his ipod. no problem for the moment. than he liked to delete everything on his ipod, so through itunes we deleted the songs in the library and synchronised again the ipod but the songs did not delete on the ipod (nothing left thougt of the cd on the computer) It only deleted once we put another cd on it. It deleted the first one copied the second one... but impossible to delete it afterwards. So my father in law very happy to tell me that apple products are not that simple in use !! (took us over an hour to delete recopie delete etc) Why does it not delete on the ipod if it is not anymore in the itunes library ???

It sounds like you might have the iPod set to manual syncing. With the device connected in iTunes select it under Devices on the left hand side. On the main page then uncheck "Manually managed Music and Videos". The iPod will then sync with the playlists you have set in iTunes. I'm baffled why you'd want to delete the songs out of the iTunes Library though...
If I was being very cheeky; I'd remind father that over 150 million people have iPods and don't find them a problem!

IPhoto for iOS : Impossible to delete modified pictures ! Bug ?

Hi everyone,
Just downloaded iPhoto for iOS yesterday. Amazing apps except for one thing.
It seems that it's impossible to delete a modified picture and the modified pictures album !
I even tried to delete the original one in the Photos app but now I can't see my original (which is fine) but I'm still seeing the modified version !
Do I really need to delete the app and reinstall it in order to delete the picture ?

Couple of questions if so :
-> every time I make a change to a picture there's the "modified pictures" album that gets created. If I delete the original picture, the modified one stays here forever even if I revert to original. Impossible to delete ?
-> I you only have one picture in your library and you hide it, it's impossible to acces it again. I had to take another picture to show the first one ! It's not a bug ?

Impossible To Delete Reminders

I have a reminders list I created some years ago on my iCloud account. I share it with my wife...
Today I tried to delete it but found I CANNOT no matter what I try.
I have tried to delete it under each of the following:
My iPhone 6 Plus
My wife's iPhone 6
Reminders on my MacBook Air
Reminders on my wife's Mac Mini
Reminders on icloud.com under my account
Reminders on icloud.com under my wife's account
In short, it seems to be completely impossible to delete this list short of canceling both of our iCloud accounts.
What's worse is neither of us have the option to leave the list. In short it appears were stuck with the list and there is no reasonable means by which we can delete the list.

Surely there is a way to delete an entire list. If there is, like him, I have yet to find it.
Let's say, hypothetically, that 2 Mac users, a couple, create a shared "2013 Christmas Gift" list. Nice to have. But Christmas 2013 is long over. One can go into that list and delete individual ITEMs on that list, sure. But how to eliminate the ENTIRE "2014 Christmas Gift" list?
Don't know. Having it around for life seems ridiculous. (Hasn't Apple learned about ridding oneself of clutter?) Renaming the list seems dumb.
Just give us a Delete List option!

Impossible to delete a video HELP ME

okay so i converted meet the parents on my itunes 2 mp4, i connect my ipod 2 my itunes and then all of a sudden itunes says that there was an error and itunes automaticly just shuts off and my ipod doesnt update. i tried 2 delete the video but if i do anything 2 it, my itunes just turns off. i cant right click on it and click clear or my itunes just turns off and i cant press delete on my keyboard or the itunes just turns off everything else is fine except for this one file. i play it and it works fine. and ive tried uninstalling itunes and installing it again but the movie is there AGAIN! and its still the same, i cant even get its info, rate it at all or my itunes will just turn off. can anyone help me with this? is there any other way to delete?

Here is my workflow:
- open file explorer in Windows 8.1
- look for something.pdf I want to check in any dir;
- click on it: opened by Adobe reader (default)
- read and decide what to do
- close Adobe reader (red X upright corner)
- as needed try to suppress in file explorer it by selecting the filename and punch the 'Supp' key (french kbd) or del (Intl kbd)
This is where it says 'impossible to delete, file used by another program"
Same if I try to rename or move: conclusion: the handle take a good while before closing.
Now I find that it takes about 20 to 30 second to close the handle, then "DEL" or "RENAME" work
But any time I try DEL or RENAME this delay starts again running:
But 20 secs is too much and makexs it difficult to concentrate on the job.
What I do now: remember (paper, immortal paper, paper everywhere!) what I want to del and do that at the end of my session

It is impossible to delete entire podcast from library in iTunes 11. Right clicking a podcast entry do not give option to remove the podcast. I more and more dislike this new iTunes look. [NOT SOLVED]

there is no way to delete a podcast (not an episode, but entire podcast, and not entire podcast library) from the library.

I have discovered that problem #2 is because I no longer get a column of "check boxes" allowing me to check certain songs. I get it in the library view but not in the CD view, which is where I need it. Don't see a setting in preferences for this. Would solve a lot of problems if I could get a column of check marks.

"WF-USER can only delete this entry" error while deleting entry in tRFC

Hello Experts,
We have a scenario wherein the outbound IDoc from our SAP system consists of lot of IDoc data segments. Becase if this large size, the EAI Middleware is getting out of memory exception while processing it before sending it to the receiving system with an error "Trnasaction XXXXXXXXX rolled back" (Committing is geting failed). And it is not possible from EAI Middleware side to increase the memory. Because of this, other outbound IDocs getting struck in the tRFC (IDoc status = 03, Data Passed to Port OK) queue and thereby delaying the process.
We would like to delete the entry (TID) of this particular IDoc from the tRFC queue. When we try to do taht, we are getting the error message "WF-BATCH can only delete this entry" which is actually the system Workflow user.
Could anyone suggest me the way to delete the entries? We hav one option where we can that system user name to our user name in "Debug Change'. Becasue of some authorozation problems, we would not be getting that.
Could you please suggest me about any alternative. Appriciate your help. Thanks in advance.

I could bypass the message in debuging mode only.
I put a breakpoint in report RSARFCRD, and, in debug mode, I skip the following check:
 if sy-lisel+1(12) <> sy-uname.
 message e019 with sy-lisel+1(12).
 endif.

Duplicate entry is not deleted from the TCA tables

We are using Oracle Customer Online to find the duplicate data and Oracle Data Librarian to remove the duplicacy. The request to remove the duplicates is taken up by ODL and the task is performed. When checked from OCO it shows that the duplicate entry has been erased but when checked in the TCA table HZ_PARITES, the entry is still there. Can anyone please help regarding this as why this is so... after removing the duplicate entry why is it still there in the table or if the entry is still there then why cant you access it through OCO

Hi,
Did you check the value for "STATUS" column in HZ_PARTIES table for the deleted records? It must be "D" which reperesents "Deleted". See the "REGISTRY_STATUS" AR lookup which validates the Party Statuses.
When duplicates are eliminated using Data Librarian/Party Merge, the records are not actually deleted from the database, instead the party status will be changed to "D". This must be the reason for not being able to see the records from Customers Online.
I guess, the same case might have occurred to your entries.

RSETESTD program to purge IDoc entries won't delete certain IDoc records

Hello experts,
I am in the mist of purging the IDoc entries in my system by using RSETESTD (WE11) program to delete the IDoc entries.
As far as I know, this program will delete the IDoc entries regardless of the status.
While doing the testing, I find out that when I filter the program to delete IDoc entries from certain date range (which results in WE02 shows there is an IDoc entries with the status 51 and 53 in the range that I selected), the program only select and will run the deletion for IDoc with status 51, but not 53.
It will show that "No IDoc is selected" when I tried to delete IDoc with status 53. I double check and I found out that in that date range that I selected from WE02 transaction, there is around 17 of IDoc records with status 53, which is not deleted/detected when I want to delete it using RSETESTD.
Can someone help to enlighten me on why this behaviour is happening please? Are there certain type of IDoc records that this program can't delete? I find out in other system, I have no problem to delete IDoc with status 53 records.

Data Binding in BSP - tableview entry not getting deleted.

I am very new to the BSP concept.I am told to develop a BSP for creating,updating,deleting entries from a database.I have achieved create and update,But when i am deleting,it gets deleted in backend i.e. in the SAP database,But the entry still appears there in the Front end.And the other 2 events i dont think i have handled well , as all i am doing is, I am appending or modifying the entries in the form_fields and then calling the do_handle_data event.
Please help me out in how to handle the table view events,I have heard about the selectedrowindex,but i couldnt figure that out.
Kindly help me out.

UWLJWF version: 7.00 SP22
Neither the Manager nor the Substitute's IDs are deleted. They are both active.
Just that the Substitute has moved to another Org unit.
Another information is that, the HR Personnel's here have a Custom program, which would get the Substitute assignments in the Backend - Which also gives the feature of deleting the substitution.
I suspect that, this particular substitution might have got deleted in the Backend with this Custom Program (TCODE).
Regardless of this, it seems now that there is inconsistency between backend & portal.
At this circumstance, is there a way to clear this issue?

Impossible to delete old picture after the update of iOS

Since I updated my ipad for the new iOS, it appears on my album older pictures that have been deleted more than one year ago. I don't understand why does it appear and where does it come from. I've never used the cloud or stored it on itunes or something like that.
After that, i've tried to delete them by selecting them and trying to choose the trash. But it appears grey tint and impossible to select.
I really to never see them and delete them definitely but impossible. I can delete every new one, but for those, it's IMPOSSIBLE.
Can anyone know how to do or where to go ?

Problem using DBCA: impossible to delete an oracle DB

as the subject say it, i've deleting Database problem.
I'm not very experiment in Oracle DB Management, certainly not a DBA.
If someone can help...
So i describe:
Laptop: Probook 4530s
RAM: 8 Go
HDD: 500 Go
Chip: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40 GHz
OS: Windows 7 x64
DB: Oracle 11gR2 (11.2.0.1.0) x64

OWB 11gR2 (11.2.0.3.0) installed as Standalone Client

2 oracle DB running as independant instances
1 containing very great amount data
1. I've created a DB instance activating the Archive option.
2. I import some tables from an other DB (populate those tables dured so much time that i wanted not to calculate them again)
3. One of the table count more as 32 million lignes
4. the export of those table taking to many time i broke the export process
5. after that i remark there is no more place to archive
6. after to consulting the Web about how to find a solution,
i've remove some Archive from the location where there are stored (C:\Oracle_DB\fast_recovery_area\<MYDB>\ARCHIVELOG\2012_04_04) to another location
7. i've succeeded to reconnect with sqlplus to the instance
8. i wanted to shutdown the DB with SHUTDOWN
My intention was then to do STARTUP MOUNT and then ALTER DATABASE NOARCHIVELOG;
10. after a long moment without response, i've reboot the laptop
11. the problem begin: impossible to connect to the DB get the message
"ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor."
12. i consult the "Application Log" in "Windows EventViewer"

12. opening the "tnsnames.ora" file the reference to the DB <MYDB> is present.
13. i try to start the instance with
"ORADIM -STARTUP -SID OracleService<MYDB>"
I get the following message:
"ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel"
14. at those step, because the place on laptop is limited, i wanted to delete the DB <MYDB> using DBCA
It show me a Dialog-Box saying that the DB is not started.
Note 1:
of course i tried to restart the Windows Oracle Services <MYDB> several times, and the listener
but it seems to do nothing.
Note 2:
of course i've replace the Archive files to the location where there are stored (C:\Oracle_DB\fast_recovery_area\<MYDB>\ARCHIVELOG\2012_04_04)
I don't know what i can doing
* either to recover/open/start the DB <MYDB>
* either to delete the DB <MYDB>
Have anybody some suggestions?

the DB was shutdown and instance inactive
after a last search on the Web i find something interresting
i solved the problem so:
on 1 DOS Console:
C:\>set ORACLE_SID=<MYDB>
C:\>sqlplus sys/<sys password on MYDB> as sysdba
Then on the opened SQLPLUS session:
sql> STARTUP MOUNT
sql> ALTER DATABASE NOARCHIVELOG; (<- it is what i wanted to do)
sql> ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
After reflexion, it seems that wenn i do "SHUTDOWN" yesterday, i don't be patient enough... &reboot the laptop.
It seems that <MYDB> state was registered anywhere as "inactive" & "MYDB" as "unmounted" & "closed"...
So it could be "normal" that after reboot, the state of instance & DB are so.
Sorry, i'm not DBA (& learn every day), but those are the reflexions that came to me.
Thank you Balazs Papp for suggestions to consult the alertlog on "C:\Oracle_DB\diag\rdbms\<db_unique-name>\<instance_name>\trace\alert_<instance_name>.log" location.
I ignore that it is exists
But the location is empty...
How is it possible to activate/enable the tracing mode so that i've "alert_<instance_name>.log" file?
