Entry Date 00.00.0000 in MSS reports

Hi Expert,
When i try to execute standard mss reports, for ex Entries/Leaving Date, or service anniversaries the entry field is 00.00.0000. But if i execute the report via gui (Manager desktop) then the entry field would filled by correct value. Can somebody help me ? Thanks in advance.

you need to maintain the feature and on how the reports are run
You need to implement the note 562031 instructions in the system as this is not part of standard delivery, Please apply it
and verify in your test system it will work
ie
Currently, the system operates as follows: The modules for the
determination of the respective date (HR_ENTRY_DATE and HR_LEAVING_DATE)
are called up with the key date and not with the start and end date of
the personnel action within which the key date exists. If HR_ENTRY_DATE
doesn't find an entry date on given key date it returns 00.00.0000. This
is an expected system behaviour.
Sometimes this system response is partially not desired, instead, you
want the system to determine the entry date and the date of leaving with
the start and end date of the personnel action within which the key date
exists during a key date selection. Therefore, the attached note 562031
was released. If you would like to change the system operation implement
the note 562031 accordingly.
Additionaly, take into consideration, that you could use a key date
selection at Person Selection Period (instead of Data Selection Period).
This could likely be helpful in your case. Consider different selectioncriteria

No data found in MSS Reports.

Hi All,
I've configured the MSS business package in my EP.I've done all the required configuration to get it work.But in all my MSS reports it is showing "NO DATA FOUND".Even the employee search is showing the same message whereas in ESS the employee search and other views are showing proper data.
Can anyone suggest what could be the issue?

MSS now use Launchpad for reporting which u need to configure from the backend system.
You need to customise the Launchpad reportfrom the backend uding t-code FPB_LP_MSS_REP_CUST. this t-code will initialise ure Launchpad report. Check that table FPB_LP6_SNI is no
longer empty, and has the required entry. Then run the transaction to
convert.
Manually add the line to table FPB_LP6_SNI. The values are role = 'MSS', instance = 'REP', and sni_used = ' ' (blank). Then run the transaction to convert.
Also try to run run program #PWPC_CONV_MDT_TO_LPA# with type #RPT0#.
If you want only MDT report's...i.e only HR report..you can include Reporting iView from SAP provided content folder...this is standard iView which will display Manager Desktop.

Entry Date Wrong in report RPLICO10 (Transacton Code:S_AHR_61016362)

I have a problem in the Report RPLICO10 Flexible Employee Data.
When the report executed we observed that the Entry Date is coming wrong. Instead of Date of Joining (supposed to get from Info Type 0000) the system taking the Start date (Date of Birth from Info Type 2) as entry date.
Recently our system got upgraded to ECC6
What could be the reason and how to solve the issue.

FAGLL03- Entry Date showing blank in the report

Hi Gurus,
We have observed that the field "Entry Date" in the GL report FAGLL03 is not showing entry dates of documents posted . We are using ECC6.0 and CUPDT field is already there in the report FAGLL03.
Need advise how to achieve this? is there any sap note available for the same

I have one question.
The standard layout of report FAGLL03 is having the field ENTRY DATE.
Still is it require to maintain as special field in customization under below path? to get values(i.e. Entray Dates) in the report.
Path is: SPRO->Financial Accounting (New)->General Ledger Accounting (New)->Master Data->G/L Accounts->Line Items
->Define Special Fields for Line Item Display.

Hi...As per your issue
Go to FBL5N or FBL1N..Double click respective document number and click header data at header level (with cap symbol) there see the Entry date
Other wise Go to BKPF table go to settings and click on format list and select chose field and select your respective fields (Like entry date)
And enter Company code ,Document number and fiscal year ...there you can see...
otherwise your ABAPER to create Z report Entry date field name is : CPUDT

Mss reporting error - no data stored within selected period

The values from the Launchpad are not being passed correctly to ECC.
There seem to be some SAP Notes that may be helpful - 1265270,873702, 769717.

MSS reports - Report to convert MDT to LPA table entries shows blank

Hi experts,
I need to add new report to mss reporting. I already transport the program and configuration to QAS server. It works find in DEV portal. But it shows error ' no object found' in QAS. I found that when I run T-Code PWPC_Conv_MDT_TO_LPA it shows blank in the screen.
Is it the cause of this problem? Correct me if I'm wrong. What should I do?

Entry date not proper in adhoc query

Hi,
Entry date field in action infotype ( in the adhoc query) always returns 00.00.0000. Whereas the standard reports brings the entry date properly (This is from prelq.hiredate). How we can bring the values into this particular field.The feature 'ENTRY' returns DATYP but data is not maintained in IT41. System should bring the hiring action date (0000 start date) as the entry date. We want to use this entry date field in the adhoc query.

Please read the following paragraph of the consulting note 508026 :
"Exception:
If the query is started with a key date selection, the query calls
function module HR_LEAVING_DATE with the key date and not with the start
and end date of the personnel action in which the key date exists. You
can use modification note 562031 to change this system response."
Please also make sure, that the corrections of note 561514 are contained in your system.

Blank entry date S_AHR_61016362 - Flexible Employee Data

Good day all,
i know that there are a lot of posts refering to 0041 but none of the suggestions have solved my problem so please help me.
1. we are currently on ECC6
2. the entry feild in S_AHR_61016362 returns 00.00.0000 when i select "today" but is populated if i select "up to today"
3. "Up to today" gives additinal historical data which i do not need besides i really want to know what is the cause of the problem.
4. running the same report in DEV or QA returns the corect data...entry date fields are correctly populated
5. Note 562031 and 508026 were applied in 4.6c before we upgraded to ECC6.
Can anyone please assist??

Well, even this report works exactly the same way whether I select today or up to today in my ECC6 system.
As it is a standard SAP query, I do not believe anything could have gone wrong in the upgrade. When I upgraded a system some time back I remember we had to go into each and every z query and make some changes to make it work again.
Given that it works fine in your own DEV and QAS systems, I suppose it could be a data issue.
Are you able to debug and see?

Entry date in blank for limited Contract Type

I've set up the feature ENTRY with the value EINDT X for my molga, but when I run a hiring action and in infotype 16, in the field Contract Type I use a Limited contract Type, and when I run the report S_AHR_61016362 (Flexible Employee
Data) the Entry Date Column is in blank but it does not happen when I use Unlimited Contract Type.
Does anyone can help me?

This feature provides entry date definition method to function module HR_ENTRY_DATE. In your case it reads following fields from IT0016:
1. EINDT "Initial Entry"
2. KONDT "Date of Entry into Group"
First of all check that you entered one of these fields for employees with temporary contract.

Browser window closing without showing MSS report

Under MSS user clicks on a report name in the portal bowser, it opens up a new pop-up window which closes out immedietly with another small pop-up coming up for " closing the session" and closing.
The case is same for all reports except one report(Attendance) in which it shows the report data.
This is an IAC iview that launches the "HRWPC_FC_EXEC" Internet Application Component.
Anybody can help ??

No reports displayed in MSS Report Launchpad

Hello everybody,
We set up ESS/MSS on a distributed environment.
Backend:
     ECC 6.0 EhP 3
     Single-ABAP Stack
     Installed Backend Component EA-HR 603
     Activated Backend Function EA_FIN_1
Portal:
     NW 7.0 SPS 17
     Single-Java Stack
     Installed Components: SAPPCUI_GP 603 SP4, SAP_ESS 603 SP3, SAP_MSS 600 SP15
Problem
The configuration works fine for a couple of ESS and MSS iViews and pages, but we get the following problem with MSS Reports:
-> When calling the Launchpad no reports are displayed and an info message is shown telling "No objects were personalized".
-> When clicking on "Change Launchpad" you see several reports sorted in groupings. They are already listed in the table of shown reports but are not displayed in the launchpad.
-> When clicking on "Save and Exit" you get two additional info messages telling "No Applications entered", but no reports are displayed. When you then open "change launchpad" screen again the reports totally disappear from table of shown reports.
Portal Launchpad Configuration:
-> pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.common
-> The launchpad iView connects to the backend via SSO which works fine for a lot of other ESS/MSS iViews
-> As application parameters the following is configured: "class=CL_FPB_SNI_ACCESS&role=MSS&instance=REP&display_external=X"
Backend Customization:
-> When launching transaction "fpb_launchpad_cust" with role MSS and instance REP you can see all the reports which are displayed in "change launchpad" screen.
-> All the reports are Transaction Reports
-> The Manager's Desktop (MDT) is not used
So:
1.) Why are the reports not displayed in the launchpad, but in the "Change Launchpad" screen?
2.) Did we forget any customizing?
3.) Why do we see such info messages like "No objects were personalized"?
4.) And what refers the application parameter "class=CL_FPB_SNI_ACCESS" to?

Hi everybody,
finally we managed to fix this bug on our own.
We set up the Managers Desktop (MDT) as suggested by SAP. But the MDT's reports could not be converted to the launchpad.
Then we recognized via debugging that for any reason the following entries were missing in table FPB_LP6_SNI_REQ:
- Role ROLE C 3 MSS
- Instance INSTANCE C 3 REP
Adding these entries manually fixed the problem.

Hi
In the line item report you can change the layout. Select the change layout tab or Presse Cntl+F8 to change the layout.
In the change layout you can select the Entry date/Posting date field. So that you can see the same. If you want the same layout to be defaulted save the layout as user defined layout after selecting the entry date.

Apply the SAP NOTE 562031. This will rectify the error. I too faced similar problem which was then corrected when this Note was applied.
Test it first an then let me know
