Entry point not found after installing odp
When installing odp on a Win200 machine with 8.1.7 client leads to installation failure when odp installer tries to access net8-assistent. Afterwards oracle tools (like tnsping) don't start and come up with an 'Entry point nog found' message, something with 'JREW.EXE'. It could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.
Has anyone experienced the same problems ?

Thank you folksEntry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. CoreMedia.dll is part of Apple Application Support.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

After updating, install error "Install Flash Player.exe - Entry point not found"
My current version of Flash Player is: 11.1.102.55. Then after an Update is performed and the download is downloaded, then it tries to install the download and an error message occurs. The error message says - Install Flash Player.exe - Entry point not found - then it says The procedure entry point SetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll.
When I try to uninstall Flash Player I get the same error message above except that it says Uninstall_Flash_Player.exe instead of Install Flash Player.exe.
I'm running WIN2000, my current version of Flash Player is 11.1.102.55 and I’m running Firefox version 12.0.I believe 10.1.102.64 was the last supported version of Flash Player for Win2k. After installing the current version of iTunes, I get an AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found error. It says "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll." Kindly advice a process to get rid of this error, without losing my files on the iTunes.
Hi, I get the same error EVERY time iTunes updates.
I have to do the fix that is suggested in this topic (cut and paste the sqlite3.dll)
My Question:
Since this happens every time iTunes updates...... Do I have to remove SQlite3.dll from the "apple application support" folder....... so that the sqlite3.dll is only located in the "mobile device support" folder?????
It is getting really annoying to have to do the "cut and paste" fix every time iTunes updates.

After LV 5.1 install, get message, "nimax.exe-entry point not found."
Just installed LV 5.1 on customers PC. She already has LV 6.1, and 7.1 installed. Upon reboot, at login screen, the error message below occurs:
"nimax.exe-entry point not found"
"The procedure entry point?GetVirtualChannelObjectOnServer@CNIConfigData@@QAEKPBD0@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library nidaqcfg.dll."
I have tried installing the latest version of MAX. No luck. Any help would be appreciated.

My first suggestion would be to avoid installing LabVIEW 5.1 if possible. This for a few reasons...
LabVIEW 5.1 has the option to install DAQ with LabVIEW. If you elected to install NI-DAQ with the LV 5.1 install, you will run into driver conflict problems.
If you want to use DAQms with LabVIEW 7.1, you will need to install NI-DAQ 7.1, 7.2 or 7.3. You can also use NI-DAQ 7.3 with LabVIEW 6.1. However, NI-DAQ 7.3 will NOT install support for LabVIEW 5.1. This means that you will not be able to use your DAQ devices in LV 5.1.
If you need DAQ for LV 5.1, you will need to go back to NI-DAQ 6.9.3. This version will work with 5.1 and 6.1, but you will loose functionality in LabVIEW 7.1.
My suggestions would be as follows:
-- uninstall LabVIEW 5.1 and all versions of DAQ that are on the machine
-- re-install LabVIEW 5.1 but choose the "custom" and elect NOT to install DAQ
-- Install NI-DAQ 7.3 and have support for 7.1 and 6.1 (no support for 5.1 is available)
Basically, when you try to mix these very old versions of LabVIEW and DAQ with the newer stuff you will run into driver conflicts that can be unpredictable. -
Why is my itunes not installing properly?
I installed itunes day before yesterday, I spent hours last night linking all my music photograph and movie files, its a new windows 8 laptop.
I plugged in my 64GB ipad 3 rebooted it and reloaded all the information I wanted on it, took hours... finally completed this this morning. After this I restarted the laptop to configure my icloud link for the laptop (which I installed last night while I was loading files, I chose to restart later)
on completion I turned my laptop off for a few hours, when I turned it back on I went to itunes to connect my iphone to do the same and I got this message:

I went back to apple website to reinstall iTunes, first reinstalled it same again, then unsinstalled it and the reinstalled it, same again.
The same thing happened with my old lap top and I replaced it with this new one at the start of the week.
Has anyone any idea what is going on and how to rectify this problem, I am now going on 3 weeks without iTunes.

Flash CS5 wont open after working for years? Entry point Not Found
Hi Guys,
I am having a problem opening my Flash CS5 after it working fine since I installed it forever ago. I do not know what could have caused this, and my other cs5 programs are opening fine.
Dreamweaver and Fireworks didnt change all (these 3; along with Flash; are what I use most)
I also open photoshop and aftereffects from my master collection for testing and they opened fine also. I ran a scan using microsoft essentials and found nothing.
I tried run as administrator on flash and it said the same thing.
I am using windows 7 Ultimate N SP1 64 bit

RandyYou should be able to cherry pick Flash out to uninstall and reinstall it from the master suite installer if I remember correctly. There's nothing wrong with a fresh reinstall, especially after years. That's a long time to be bulletproof.
Otherwise I can't hand you a commercial DLL but I really don't think your problems will be fixed even if I did. I think it's just hardware doing what it's notorious for, eventually having a fault somewhere. A reinstall of Flash should be fast and will write to new sectors and fix the file. -

I have a PC computer and an i-phone 4S. I set up an i-tunes acct online w/ icloud. After a recent update my PC started receiving an error message on start up. It says "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found". It also says, " The procedure entry point smlTextreaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll". I click on OK and it moves on. It doesn't seem to affect my computer, but it's annoying. Any ideas on correcting this?
UPDATE - (Made a second post so it'd be clearer)
I uninstalled Office 2003, then iTunes, then all of the associated software (Mobile Device Support, Apple Update, Quicktime, EVERYTHING)
Reinstalled Office 2003, then Office 2003's Service Pack 3, then all Microsoft Updates for Office 2003. Then I configured a blank Outlook profile, no data other than the IMAP info for my .Mac/Me account. Then I downloaded (didn't used my existing copy) of iTunes 7.7 and reinstalled. Sync'd phone. Changed MobileMe settings. Told it to sync contacts and calendar with Outlook. It warned me because it was the first sync. Told it to take ALL of the MobileMe data and replace the data on the computer (which was blank.) NOTHING showed up in Outlook. When I tell it to sync Contacts with the Windows Address Book, it works fine.
In Conclusion, it still won't sync with Outlook, when it's set to Sync with Outlook I still get the annoying MAPI errors. So I switched to to Sync the Contacts with the Windows Address Book, and I'm backing up my WAB file now with my nightly backups.
I suppose we'll see if it gets fixed when I format/reinstall on Vista Ultimate in the next month or two. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open and willing to try them.
On a completely unproductive note: Despite my love for Exchange, I hate MAPI. -

Yes. I just solved the problem on my PC. Here goes...
Issue: My Windows7 computer was producing the pop up box with the error text as you described.
The Problem: You have another application on your computer that uses the like named .DLL file... in this case a DLL supporting SQLite on your local PC.
Solution:
1. You need to use the Windows File search feature to look for the name "SQLite". This will quickly locate the offending DLL in the other application.
2. Decide which program you like the most, in my case "Mobile Me", and uninstall the offending application.
3. Uninstall Mobile Me.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Reinstall Mobile Me.
6. Mobile Me should sync at this point, but if not, restart the PC once again.
In my case, the offending program was my Aptana Studio development application. I had recently the SQLite3 database to my Ruby On Rails configuration...
This is where the file was located:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Aptana Studio 2.0\plugins\com.aptana.radrails.sqlite3.win32_3.5.7.1278709071\vendor\SQLite3.d ll

Installed Itunes 10.5. I try to open Itunes is says Entry point not found.
I just installed Itunes 10.5 and restarted the computer. Now when I try to open Itunes is says Entry point not found. I am using a 64bit fresh installation of windows 8.1 laptop with the latest 27.0.1 version of firefox. I have been getting start up error messages. The messages claimed that each of nss3.dll, mozglue.dll,plc4.dll,plds4.dll could not be found in windows. I found a good fix explanation on a site where I could download these missing files and copy them to the system folders on windows (in sytstem32 and sysWOW for 64 bit) Each time the error message popped up the next dll file missing and most recently the message has changed to “ command.exe entry point not found” NSSUTIL_DoModuleDBFunction dynamic link library softokn.dll As I can find no reference to this on the net I was hoping you might be able to shed some light on the problem.
I have tried reinstalling and I have also tried the reset option in troubleshooting but the problem remains after restoring my FF backup settings. A completely fresh installation does remove the problem but the first installation of a new extension add on (but seemingly not plug-in) and the problem returns regardless of which add-on.I posted this question after the best part of 2 days trying to eliminate this, admittedly small but, irritating error. Some hours later I note the problem has gone away which I think is most likely down to a clean-up job done by the WiseCare 365 software.
