Envelope formats

Some how I have lost my special envelope formats in Address Book on my iMac that is running 10.4.11. I still have the formats on my MacBook that is running 10.5.4. Is there any way I can get them back on the iMac.
Thanks

Hi gilloz.
I will be able to provide more information about this issue.
Since the dimensions of the #6 3/4 envelope are 3.625" x 6.5", this is not a supported paper size with the LBP6030w.  The machine supports custom paper sizes with the following dimensions:
- Width 3.00 to 8.50 in. [76.2 to 216.0 mm]
- Length 7.40 to 14.02 in. [188.0 to 356.0 mm]

  • Why won't HP Officejet 6700 recognize Word Perfect envelope format

    Purchased 6700 to replace 7210 and 7300. Using Think Pad and XP OS. I wrote a business letter on Executive size with the recepient's address in standard way. Word Perfect allows for a return address to appear or not, I chose to appear.
    Result was recepient addess printed in default mode a bit too close to left edge and a bit to high, but no return address  at all. I tried to modify the placement of recepient address over about .5" over and a bit further from the top, that worked but it stilll wasn't great but moving it further resulting in a kind of vertical stream as if the default right edge setting clipped the address.

    Within word perfect can you set a custom address that properly aligns things for each envelope?
    To create a custom address format
    1.  In the Format address dialog box, click Custom.
    2.  In the Format (arrange fields) box, position the cursor to insert an address field.
    3.  In the Fields list box, click a field, and click Insert.

  • CDATA and envelope format sensitivity

    Hello,
    I am using standard LiveCycle component/service "WebService" in LiveCycle process to call a Web service.
    In SOAP response is CDATA section with xml document that I need to work with.
    In Web-service component properties is section "CDATA list" which should parse all CDATA sections of soap-response to a list variable.
    It works well if the service returns (A)-type response format (see below), but doesn't parse anything for (B)-type.
    So - can WebService component parse CDATA section from generic soap/xml format or does it require (A)-like format ?
    Thanks
    A) works well

  • SOAP envelope format

    Hi,
    I must make sample code of web service calls for PHP and Java to our clients. So far I have got it working with PHP but I have trouble to successfuly call web service in Java.
    I have generated stub files with wscompile -keep -gen:client config.xml
    It makes SOAP envelope, and calls service but there is no response - unfortunetly i cant debug cause from server side, but it must have something to do with SOAP envelope. Server side is done with Microsoft SOAP Toolkit. I have included Java generated envelope and nosoap (PHP)generated envelope (PHP one works). (PS! TimeToSend field is 0 in PHP version and 0.0 in Java, can it be cause?)
    Envelope with Java:
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:enc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:ns0="http://tempuri.org/fmts/message/" env:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
    <env:Body>
    <ns0:SendSMS>
    <MessageText xsi:type="xsd:string">test</MessageText>
    <TimeToSend xsi:type="xsd:double">0.0</TimeToSend>
    <StatusURL xsi:type="xsd:string"></StatusURL>
    </ns0:SendSMS>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    Using nosoap lib for PHP envelope looks like this:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:si="http://soapinterop.org/xsd" xmlns:nu="http://tempuri.org/fmts/message/">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>

    <StatusURL xsi:type="xsd:string"></StatusURL>
    </nu:SendSMS>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

    Found out what was frong. There was password field in envelope (removed it in previous post - and i managed to enter wrong password)

  • How to print on envelopes C6/C5 with HP OfficeJet Pro 8600

    With my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 I want to print on envelopes C6/C5 (229 mm x 114mm or 9.0 inches x 4.5 inches).
    The Officejet Pro 8600 support C5-envelopes and C6-envelopes but I could not find a comparable format C6/C5. Is it possible to make your own envelopes format and print on HP Officejet Pro 8600?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Grepolis,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
    I see that you would like to be able to print on  C6/C5 envelopes.
    I will be happy to help you.
    You could install the Deskjet 9800 as a generic driver which you would have different features available to you.
    Making custom size prints.
    Depending what operating system you are using. Here are the steps for Windows 7.
    On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, select add printer.
    Follow the steps, select HP and Deskjet 9800 from the list.
    Set this one as the default printer.
    Try creating a custom size envelope now with the generic driver.
    Please let me know if you are not using Windows 7 and you need different steps.

  • Envelopes do not print properly using an All-in-One Photosmart C410a and C310a

    My HP C410a is USB attached. Serial
    Using Windows 7, SP2 (Home Premium - desktop); and Windows XP (laptop)
    Using Word 2010 (WIN7) and Word 2007 (WIN/XP)
    The printer has latest drivers:  PS_AIO_07_C410_FSW_Full_Win_enu_140_222.exe
    April 1, 2010
    It prints normal pages OK, e.g.: there are no anomalies.
    But, when I print an envelope from Word 2010 it does not print on the envelope as expected (a No. 10 envelope), but rather the printer IGNORES the formatting in Word and prints the address as if the envelope in the printer is an 8-1/2”x11” page, in landscape mode (the only correct action).
    I have uninstalled and deleted the driver multiple times.
    Yes, I last did the uninstall Sunday June 12, 2011; followed by a fresh install.
    Yes, I printed an envelope after the fresh install and it printed properly.
    Today, the anomaly (the address prints in the wrong location, e.g.: middle of an 8-1/2”x11” page) has recurred.
    Between Sunday and today, I did not make any changes in my system, e.g.: no Windows, Office, etc. updates.  And, I did not change any of the envelope formatting or print options in Word 2010.
    This is NOT a physical problem, rollers, print head, etc. as the printer is barely one month old --- and do note that the envelope (actually multiple) printed properly the other day - Sunday.
    This is not the first time that this has occurred.  Yes, on previous occasions I uninstalled and installed the drivers.
    AND, more importantly, I have a laptop that uses the same printer, same driver, and Word 2007.  It too now prints the envelope address incorrectly, e.g.: as if it is an 8-1/2”x11” page.
    Hence, there is something inherently bad, wrong, defective, etc. inside the printer itself.
    Before sending me on an Easter egg hunt, do notel:
    Restarting, e.g.; power off /on /off / on does not work or fix the issue.
    Uninstalling drivers and reinstalling drivers does not work, as explained.
    Switching PC’s, as explained does not work.
    Using different software suites, e.g.: Word 2007 (Windows XP – Professional) and Word 2010 does not work.
    There are NO new updates from HP per the HP Solution Center.
    What is HP’s solution?

    This is not a problem with the printer - Word 2010 has it's own way of printing envelopes and labels that you must follow regardless of the printer. I have included some screenshots below to guide you along - I hope you find this helpful. The 3rd pic has the important areas marked with red rectangles - those are different from the defaults that Word ALWAYS seems to present at least on my system. With the following procedure, load the envelope as instruction in the HP Solution Center How-Do-I... videos (search for envelope - it should be among the first few articles you are presented in the search results).

  • Stuck in printing envelope mode

    hey there....
    trying to stop the printer from printing in envelope format - nothing works - just keeps reverting to it even though printing preferences show normal paper size - keeps reverting back
    thanks for the help

    Yes I am having the same issue with my Photosmart Plus B209a,  for some reason the paper size selection on the features tab in the printer properties keeps reverting back to a envelope setting as soon as I click the "Ok" button and leave the property window, this is usually just an annoyance cause once I select the size I want , it will print it in that size that particular time but then will have to be reset out of enevolope mode again the next time.    However this time on this latest project I'm doing in MS Word 10 it reverts back as soon as I close the window., which interferes with my project I'm doing   Does anyone know how to fix this issue?    I refuse to pay  HP $40 to resolve an issue that should't not be occouring on their printers.

  • Printing Envelope using Word Perfect

    Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless -
    Operating Sys - Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
    envelope feed is centered in the paper tray.  Word Perfect will print envelopes only if fed down the right side of the paper tray.  HP claims there is a problem with Word Perfect and Corel claims the problem is in the print driver. I've never had a printer before that would work with only Microsoft Word. I've never had this problem before purchasing this printer.

    Hi,
    Here are the steps for printing in word perfect :
    Printing envelopes in Word Perfect
    In WordPerfect, the Print Driver and Envelope Format Settings must match for the envelope to print properly. The Following steps show how to set up envelope printing in WordPerfect 7.0; other versions of WordPerfect follow similar if not identical routines.
    Set the Print Driver settings in the Printer Folder to print in Landscape mode. In Windows 95 and 98, right-click the print driver icon and select Properties. Then go to the Paper section. In Windows NT, double click the print driver icon and go to Document Defaults under Printer. Go to the Features section and make the change.
    From within WordPerfect, click Format and Envelopes.
    Go to Envelope definitions to select the size.
    To verify the settings, or if the desired envelope size is not present, click Create New Definition.
    Check the list of available envelope sizes; if the desired envelope size is not present, select the last choice: User Defined Size.
    Make sure the font orientation is set to Rotated and paper feed is set to Short Edge.
    Print a test envelope to make sure all of the settings are correct. These settings will be the default the next time you enter WordPerfect’s envelope wizard.

  • PI 7.0 SOAP message reply HTTP 500 and after the fault message

    Hello Everybody,
    I have the scenario RFC -> XI -> SOAP in synchronous mode.
    I use for the mapping XSLT because I have to put some dynamic data comming from the RFC in the header of envelope.
    At level of adapter receiver SOAP , I flag the "do not use envelop"
    In normal, that works .
    When the is an fonctionnal error in SOAP service, it sends me back an error HTTP 500 and afterwards the fault message in a soap envelop format. In that case, how can I pass over this error to treat the envelop because in adapter, it is stopped and it returns a short dump to the RFC.
    Is there somebody who can help me with this problem ?
    Thanks in adavance for your answers .
    Regards.
    Eric.

    Hi,
    In case of a SOAP error while processing the request, the SOAP HTTP server MUST issue an HTTP 500 "Internal Server Error" response and include a SOAP message in the response containing a SOAP Fault element
    Thanks,

  • More DataFlavors copied to the clipboard/used in D&D in one step

    Hallo,
    For my GUI app. I would like to enable different types of information to copied to the clipboard.
    e.g. object type 1 - Document ID ( actual row's document ID from JTable ) - to copy document type
    object type 2 - string representation ( columns texts from JTable ) - to copy to excel
    I would like to keep them general, with different possible combinations
    among them ( up to 10 different object types ), according to some specs.
    Has anybody idea, if it is possible ? ( prefarably with 1.4 D&D interface ).
    Data are packed in createTransferable() call, but it allows just 1 format (?) ...
    Maybe I can use some 'envelope' format holding all possible information,
    but that idea doesn't looks nice for me :(
    Thanks for any hint.
    Tibor

    Hi !
    Thanks for your help. For drag & drop it's fine. System will ask for 'best' format as I expect.
    How is it with clipboard ? I had idea to copy table columns as a "text" flavor
    ( for paste into excel ) and user created flavor "id" with documentId inside.
    On paste I would take 'what's better' ( e.g. as a document reference better would be better my "id" flavor,
    because that information doesn't need to be in table cells inside ).
    Maybe I will have to use 'own' clipboard for these reasons.

  • URGENT: SOAP 1.1 and 1.2 Support in OSB Proxy

    Gurus,
    My OSB proxy services should support SOAP 1.1 and 1.2 versions. However, WSDL based Proxy service has only one endpoint. (This is the limitation as per an Oracle document.) This endpoint is one which you select while creating a proxy service from WSDL.
    Now, as a result, the service is not able to serve both the 1.1 and 1.2 requests.
    As a workaround, I've created two proxy services from the same WSDL (which has both the endpoints/bindings).
    And, i publish two endpoints to the user.
    Is there any way to trick the proxy WSDL (effective WSDL) to have two ports (endpoints) in it ?
    If not, what are the best practices to tackle this situation?
    Thanks in advance for your help on this.
    With regards-
    Ashish
    Edited by: user570355 on 2012. 9. 24 오후 3:47

    Hi Ashish,
    I don't think there's a way to trick the proxy but, as you know, soap 1.1 and 1.2 have slightly different envelope formats (e.g. fault handling) so you'll probably need some kind of specific message processing or transformation, sometime in the future, for handling both soap 1.1 and soap 1.2 requests. This makes your approach correct, in my opinion.
    Do you have a local proxy for handling service logic?
    I think you should follow something similar to this: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/dev.1111/e15866/local.htm#i1075772.
    Your minimum configuration - 3 proxies:
    SOAP 1.1 Proxy, SOAP 1.2 proxy and a Local Proxy
    Using this approach:
    *1 -* The Local Proxy should handle Business Service calls, additional logic, etc. You'll probably have to configure this as "Any XML" proxy and use some kind of internal message format (your own schema) because, if you configure it as "Any SOAP", you'll be forced to choose between SOAP 1.1 and SOAP 1.2.
    - routes responses from Business Services to the correct SOAP 1.x Proxy
    *2 -* For each SOAP 1.x Proxy
    - receives soap 1.x messages and transforms them to some kind of internal schema -> routes them to the Local Proxy for processing
    - transforms any kind of responses coming from the Local Proxy back to soap 1.x format and routes responses to the client
    I hope this can be of any help to you,
    Regards,
    Filipe

  • Adding xml fragment to SOAP body (SAAJ)

    Hi all,
    we are using SOAP (or better SAAJ) in a modular design as packaging/enveloping format for arbitrary payloads which are generated by different modules.
    How is it possible to add a xml fragment (as InputStream or DOM Node) to a SOAP Body ?
    Nick
    [email protected]

    Hi Vicky,
    I guess, we have a little misunderstanding here. The core SOAP specification defines the structure of the envelope, the "SOAP with attachments" specification extends that by defining how to add binary attachments. This is accomplished by using MIME. Every attachment is another MIMEPart, but the SOAP Envelope always has to be present as first MIMEPart. Now I don't want to add any attachments, I only want to construct a SOAP Envelope that contains arbitrary xml docs (fragments) in the body.
    Look at the example below, the tags with namespace "S" belong to the SOAP specification and are built by our SOAP layer, the tags with namespace "m" belong to some other namespace and are generated by a totally different component.
    My question was how I could add (within SAAJ) the xml fragment starting with "m:PurchaseOrder" to the envelope without having to add element by element.
    <S:Envelope>
         <S:Header>
              ...optional header tags
         </S:Header>
         <S:Body>
                    <!---from here it is a different namespace, SOAP doesn't know about PurchaseOrders>
              <m:PurchaseOrder>
                   <m:position>
                        <m:article>0815</m:article>
                        <m:description>mainboard</m:description>
                        <m:price>50</m:price>
                   </m:position>
                   <m:position>

                   </m:position>
              </PurchaseOrder>
                    <!---from here, it is SOAP again>
         </S:Body>
    </S:Envelope>
