Environment Channel Strips view like the mixer window?

Is there a chance to set the environment Channel Strips view like the mixer window?
The mixer has the new graphic view whereas the environment has the old LP9 graphic view

Requesting features here... doesn't achieve much as the Dev team do not frequent this forum...

My output channel strip is in the middle of my mixer. How can I replace it next to the master?

In the mixer window of Logic Pro the output channel strip has moved to the middle of the audio strips. How can I move it back to its usual spot next to the master strip?

Sounds like you have created an Aux track for your Output channel strip, and the position of that track on the arrange page now determines the place of the output channel strip on your mixer. So, you'll have to move that track so it is the bottom track in the arrangement, then the output channel strip in the mixer should move to the right again.
It is a sorely missed (and often requested) feature to be able to move channel strips around freely in the mixer.

Using Midi Reverb and chorus in the Mixer Window

When I have my 16 midi channels of my triton in open logic with midi data inside, and I turn the Reverb or Chorus button in the mixer window, there are no affects taking place. why?? Thanks

Does your Triton have the General MIDI effects onboard? If not, then that is why it is not working.
Your MIDI device must have the effects onboard. So please consult your Triton manual.

How Do I Get A Split Screen View? (Two views in the main window)

I basicly want 1 UIView at the top and then below another UIView. How would I go about doing this? I need to be able to execute methods to it like -(void) viewDidLoad.

I have tried inserting 1 extra view (Into the view that starts up with your app. Reason I only put in one view is because, I dont need 2 really. How I mean by two is 1 extra view and the default view that was there anyway) and in interface builder clicking on the view I have just dragged in, then clicking on: File > Write Class Files. But I colud not execute code to it for some reason. (For example I could not use the classes made with the Write Class Files. If I put the -(void) viewDidLoad method in with an NSLog it would not run.)

Well, yeah. Im really sure. There is no other way I want it.
I want to have 2 views in one window.
The reason why, is so I can have a Core Plot view at the top, and just the bog standard UIView at the bottom (But I know what to do with Core Plot aslong as I know how to get 2 UIViews both with working view controllers).
My main question basicly is that fact that I want to be able to have a secondviewViewController with all the right IBOutlets like dataSource to make it work.

Linking Menu Bar with views in the same window

Hi everyone,
I have a menu bar in a view and I would like to link each one of the elements with other view through an URL. The problem when I do this is that the view appears in a different window and I want that appears in the same window. Because if it doesn't, I'm going to have one window for each element of the menu bar :s

As per my understanding, your requriement is: (Correct me if i am wrong).
You have one default View and Window. In the View you are displaying the menu bar. Each menu bar item contails one specific URL. When user clicks on any of the menu bar item you need to open the corresponding URL in the same View.
1) Take the view set with two rows. In first row add the default MenuView (menu bar) and in second row embed another View (For example: ResultView).
2). In RestultView create IFrame UI element (Note : it is deprecated). And bind one cotext attribute to url.
Map this context attribute to MenuView also throug the Component Controller.
3). Create inbound plug to MenuView and outbound plug to ResultView. On click on any of the menubar items change the URL in the context attribute and then navigate to the ResultView through plugs.

I accidentally changed the view in the mozilla window border and now i can't find how to get it back the way it was.

i would like to know how to get into the options for mozilla. i assume this is the default window style for the latest mozilla since i just downloaded it onto this computer.

Did you hide toolbars?
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
*View > Toolbars (place a tick on toolbars that you want to see)
Also make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle).

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

GUI Bug Outlook 2013 while sorting E-Mail in the list view in the main window

I found a bug in Outlook 2013 - following occures: in main window, when I sort the list view with e-mails by "sent to" or by "received from" and when I delete one mail from this list, the view is not correct, because after the deleted
E-Mail disapears when I go with my mouse Cursor over other e-mails in the list Outlook 2013 shows all mails from the top of the list (beginning in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order) as I move with mouse over neighbour mails from the corrected view
instead of the same view with only that one item deleted. The scroll element right has the right Position, but after clicking on the arrow up or arrow down within this element it jumps to the start. This has worked in my Outlook 2010 well, and this is very
unpleasant because I can not work well everytime sorting my mails right again after I deleted one. This seems to be only the case if I sort my mails by Name, not if sorted by size or received/sent date, then list view works well. I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64
and Office 2013 x32, on HP6910 with ATI graphics Card. Whole System works fine since years. Is there any log file I can submit? Is my description clear? Please help , thanks.

Opening a view from another view of the same window in diff Browser.

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to open a view (say view 2) from another view (say view 1) with click of a button in a different browser, both the views are embedded into the same window, and also i have to pass some data from view1 to view2, based no the input data, i am displaying some information. Also both views belog to the same component.
Some pointers on this would be of great help.

You would need to open another window.
See if_wd_window and if_wd_window_manager.
Call the GET_API to get a handle to window manager.
The new window can show V2.
The original Window with 2 views,
must fire plug to navigate v2 to empty view to hide it from Window1.
The to Views talk to one another via WDC Controller.
View 2 calls WDC controller methods. The WDC controller the fires Event.
View 1 can listen to this event with a method of type event handler.
View 1 can for example react to button on View 2 and close WINDOW 2.

Switch between views in the Document window

When using the Code/Design view, I am Unable to Split View vertically or change the design view to the left, as the options are greyed out on my version of CS5.5 Dreamweaver.

Read action from a different view in the same window

I have a view which contains a ViewContainerUIElement and a ButtonRow. A second view with form fields is embedded in the container of the first view. Validation of the form fields in the second view depends on the button pressed in the first view. How can I determine in the second view, the name of the action that is executed in the initial view?

If you used the wizard in order to create the popup the wizard create a button "OK" that I'm guessing you change to "SAVE", you will need to create an EVENT HANDLER under your method list tab in my example my EVENT HANDLER is "SEARCH_RESULT" once the user click the "OK" button it will call SEARH_RESULT event and it will do your code inside the event.

Mixer window won't stay put w multiple monitors/screen sets

so i have 4 monitors, 3 of which are together and 1 off in another area for other stuff. this is done w 2 standard apple video (Nvivia GT120) cards and a few monitors. the middle one has a higher res than the others but not so much to need the dual dvi.
i want to display the mixer window across all 3 of my main monitors for a full overview in that particular screenset.
the PROBLEM here is that as soon as i switch to another screenset or even select that same screen set while viewing it, the mixer window snaps to allignment w the center monitor so that the left monitor has nothing on it and the right half of the mixer window has fallen off the right screen.
it works just fine when i only spread the mixer across two monitors. but even then sometimes it alligns to the center monitor after while.
is there some setting im missing here?

is there a way to save and recall multiple channel strips ? what i'm trying to do is for example : to set up
Ultrabeat Multi which would include several Aux's and busses with indivitual bus effect etc and recall it in a New song exactly as i saved it . how do i goabout it

Two ways you could do it.
1: set the existing setup as a template; remember to get rid of all regions in Arrange & all audio in the Audio window. Whenever you want a new song with these settings, create it using this template.
2: at the top of each channel strip just below the EQ window is a small triangle. Click on that and select 'Save Setting As . . ' and give it a memorable name.
Do that for each channel strip you wish to save. In your new song, select the strip setting you want and everything in that channel will be opened; all FX, Ultrabeat or any other Logic synth you may have had inserted.

Can program change info be sent to the channel strip?

Hi there, I have old logic midi files to update for use in logic pro7. I have set up an autoload template which I then drag the old logic files into so that I get the environment settings that I want and have some uniformity with all my files.
Is there a way I can get program change info and midi instrument settings from the event list, (in the midi tracks dragged in) transfered/sent into the channel strip?
Can the track info like control change, volume settings, pg ch, etc be sent to the channel strip so that they match?
I struggled trying to explain that I hope it's clear. Please help if you can.

How do I get Firefox to show jpeg files in the same window/tab like it once did instead of asking me what to do everytime?

For a long time, whenever I click on a jpeg link in one of my Yahoo groups, the image simply loads in the Firefox window or tab that I'm viewing and I can simply hit the back button to return to the page I was on before. But just recently when I click on a jpeg link, Firefox asks me where I want to download the file and I have to choose between opening another tab, using Windows Photo Viewer, or selecting another program, I believe this is unnecessary and cumbersome. I would like it if Firefox would simply show me the image I'm trying to view in the same window/tab like it used to instead asking me where to download it and/or opening up a new tab when I don't really need it.

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options to access the options window. Go to the Applications Panel and next to 'JPEG image' content type select to use your default application to view images.
