Environment selection problem at web control panel start

Hi everybody.
We are facing some problems after BPC web control panel logon. It appears a popup window asking for an environment selection. After that, the browser is refreshed and the popup appears again.
This is the popup. Can someone help us? Thanks in advance.

We tried clearing the cache of the browser, temporal windows files, clearing the server cache via
http://<server>:<port>/sap/epm/bpc/web/clearcache and http://<server>:<port>/sap/epm/bpc/web/resetcachebuster urls and accessing via /sap/epm_bpc/web but the result was always the same: after a few accesses, the popup appears again.
As an extra data, we configure SCPM in the server some time ago. Could this be the cause of the system behavior?

Problems installing Web Controls 2.1 on 6.1 portal

After problems upgrading from 5.04 to 6.1, we decided to build a 6.1 portal environment from scratch. I've run into problems installing the 2.1 web controls. Running the exe does nothing (the installer doesnt even launch). After a few attempts, I looked in the registry and found dr. watson errors indicating an acces violation. I tried running under compatibility modes for xp and 2000. Same error.
We are running w2k3 sp2 servers with portal 6.1.
Is it possible to manually install 2.1 wc from a server that already has it? Any other solutions?
Any help would be EXTREMELY appriciated.

Are you running the installer directly on the machine to be installed on? In case No then try that out. Also what is the edition of win2k3?

Can't select Airplay in Sound control panel

I can't select my Airplay speakers in the Sound control panel. Airplay works fine from iTunes, but when I try to selct it in the Sound control panel, I click on the Airplay speakers and the selection bounces back up to Line out. Restarting the machine fixes the problem for a while, but that's not really a solution.

You have to restart the core audio be pasting the following line into termnal
sudo kill `ps -ax | grep 'coreaudiod' | grep 'sbin' |awk '{print $1}'`

IE7 and Web control panel

is anyone running win xp pro with IE7 and having problems getting to the control panel? all i should be doing is putting in http://192.168.1.1 right? it just thinks about it and then gives me a google search result.. yes i put this in the address bar and not do a google search

Try opening a normal folder and typing it in the directory box. (looks just like address box)

How do I disable guest access in the advanced web controls? E2000

Due to cisco connect not connecting and my rouer having some problems I have reset it and gone straight into the advanced web control panel. I have everything set up and running, but I see no way to turn off guest access. I do not want any "guests" to be able to access my E2000 router, how do I disable that in the advanced web control panel?

sabertooth is correct. The Guest network is managed by Cisco connect software only.
You can reset the router and reconfigure it manually.
Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it manually.

HT201077 iCloud Control Panel

Have icloud set up on my iPhone4 (photos is turned on). I installed iCloud control Panel on PC (Windows 8). iCloud photos/Photo stream was working until I installed ios 7 on my iPad mini. iCloud photos disappeared.
I just reinstalled iCloud control panel, but cannot select photos box to set it up again. Obviously, nothing shows up in my iCloud photos, but all photos (up until I updated) show up in a photo stream folder in my pictures library.
Why can't I select photos on the control panel?? Does my iPhone have to be upgraded to the ios 7 as well? I have not upgraded to ios7 on my iPhone 4 because our company's IT department states that ios7 on the iPhone4 does not work well with our system.

It should not have been possible to receive photo stream photos that old on a newly connected device unless they were added to photo stream much later. iCloud keeps photos added in the last 30 days, regardless of when they were taken. Perhaps the photos were somehow added to photo stream on your replacement phone.
Regardless of how this happened, the only way to get the missing photos on your PC is to either import them with your usb cable as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, or create a shared photo stream containing them which will sycn to your PC alongside your photo stream photos.

HP LaserJet 500 color MFP M575 have no Display. and is not anymore possible access any function. What is the problem behind that ?How can we solve this issue ? is it the problem with the control panel display or the logic board ? there is no dim memmory instaled in the system .

Web Controls 2.1: HTTP not filtered

I'm using the Web Controls 2.1 on a 5.0.3 Portal.
Portlets are running on a Remote Server with IIS5, which has the complete Web Controls Installation. The <httpModules> entry is correctly placed in the Web.config. In fact, I'm using the Rerender Demo Sample.
I can tell that something is happening, because the ptwc.log shows this entry on the first call to Controller.aspx after an IIS restart:

However, on postback the portlet still takes over the whole browser. Upon closer inspection of the Portal Page source and the HTTP response from the portlet to the portal (using a YATT trace) revealed that the aspx page is not transformed at all. Javascript functions and form names all appear in their original form.
Reinstalling the Webcontrols also didn't help. We really need this functionality. Does anyone have an idea, why this is not working?

I am still unable to get the 2.1 Webcontrols to work, can anyone provide some insight to overcoem the cast exception?.-There seem to be some additional configuration items in this release - Can anyone explain their purpose? -The installation also placed the image server files in the wrong location - I had to move them from the ptimages folder to the ptimages/RemoteGadgets

QuickTime Control Panel causes BSOD

Installed the Quicktime 7.6.5. All went well (or so I thought). The next day on bootup, I received a notification that a driver condition caused a blue screen. O checking in the system logs, I found the actual problem was QuickTime control panel, so I removed the QuickTime from the system, after which I rebooted and removed all registry info and rebooted again. Problem solved here, but would like to see a rewrite of control panel and app support center to agree with the libraries that work with qt (quartz, etc) so the bluescreen will not occur.

O checking in the system logs, I found the actual problem was QuickTime control panel,
Interesting. When you used WinDbg (Windows debugging tools) to analyse your memory dump of the crash, did that confirm that the STOP error was caused by the QuickTime.cpl file?

Can not login to iCloud Control Panel

Downloaded and installed iCloud control panel. When I try to login, it says my Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud Account. I can login to the iCloud website ok. What is the problem wit hthe control panel?

I am on 10.7.2, my iPhone iCloud account works fine, I can sign in at the iCloud website no problems, but have the same error message. I also get this when trying to create an account:
I've waited many moments, still no joy.
Has anyone got a response from an actual apple support person? Or is that a waste of time?

ICloud Control Panel does not sync more than 139 Images

i'm encountering a Problem with iCloud Control Panel v 3.1 running on Windows 8.1 Professional on a Lenovo Think-Tablet.
When I enable Photostream it downloads excatly 139 Images and stops after that.
On my Windows 8(.0) Laptop and my mac pro it's running fine tho.
I've tried everything i found on the forums so far:
-) deleted appdata
-) deleted Images Folder
-) reinstalled whole suite
-) logged out and in again
my Photostream contains ~600 Images
Any avice?

so how is it possible that on my mac - on which i enabled icloud like 1 week ago - downloads 600+ images and my tablet, where i installed icloud 2 months ago downloads almost nothing?

I am working a a problem with the software on a Canon digital camera. My instructions from Canon Support are to:
1.Select my START menu and choose CONTROL Panel.
How do I do that? I have Mountain Lion OS.

Those are instructions for Windows. The equivalent action is to go to the Apple menu (left end of Menu Bar at the top of the screen) and select System Preferences.
However, that may not help with your problem, because the steps after "1" will be different on a Mac (for whatever it's telling you do to for Windows). It may help if you explained the actual problem "with the software on Canon digital camera."

I used my key note to create a banner for the web. When I play it on my iphone or ipad the control panel shows and I have to operate it manually.Is tere anything to fix this problem?

I have used keynote to create a banner with transitions.
It plays OK on the web but doesn't play on the iphone or Ipad, unless i hit the control panel.
I configured it for loop and self playing and that works fine in Chrome and Safari with no control panel visible.

Sounds like a Windows problem, in light of this statement from sun about Java 6u14.
This release is Windows 7 support-ready and includes support for Internet Explorer 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2, and Windows Vista SP2
The Java Control Panel lives in the Windows world, not Java. It is a .cpl Windows program. Windows 7 is still pre-release.
