Envt Parameters for Report Shipping
Dear Experts,
can any body tell me the significance of the following envt paramters.
also can you suggest me standard Parameter Value for each
1) SRE_DS_CHECK_VALID - i have set to CUSTOMER . My customer is from USA. I am suppose to set or what should i maintain
2) SRE_EXP_INITIATOR - as of now it is Blank what is standard Parameter value for this .
3) REPINFOSYS_DEST - i have set here MB1ES1019_20 which the name of my RFC destination for WWI Generation Server
4) SRE_DS_TDID_DELPOS
5) SRE_DS_TDID_ORDPOS
Regards
Amol
Hello Amol,
1) SRE_DS_CHECK_VALID - CUSTOMER is correct
2) SRE_EXP_INITIATOR - Blank is correct.
3) REPINFOSYS_DEST - It is not the RFC destimation for WWI server.
If the report information system or the specification information system is to be called outside the SAP component Environment, Health and Safety from a separate system (for example, the SAP component Sales and Distribution), the call must be RFC-compatible. The RFC destination is specified using this environment parameter. The value NONE means that the called SAP component Environment, Health and Safety is on the same computer as the calling component.
4) SRE_DS_TDID_DELPOS
Here you should assign the text ID assigned to the text type Material sales text in Customizing for SD.
The link between the text ID and the text type Material sales text is made in Customizing for Sales and Distribution under Basic Functions -> Text Control -> Define Text Types. Select the Item field for a delivery, for example, and choose Text types. The Text types Delivery item screen appears in which the text ID is assigned to the text type
5) SRE_DS_TDID_ORDPOS
This is same as point 4.

Niraj

Source Code error for Report Shipping
Hello,
This is regarding Report Shipping.
As per SAP Report Shipping Implementation Guide
for 4.1Settings for the SD Interface: Shipping Docu-ments
Under Environment, Health & Safety> Product Safety> Report Shipping> Basic Settings for Shipping from SD Documents> Material Safety Data Sheet/Sales and Distribution Interface> Settings for the SD Interface: Shipping Documents> Output Determination--> Check Conditions.. it should be like below
Routine number: <26>
Description: Environmentally rlvt
Active: X (set)
Application: V2
Source code:
FORM KOBED_<Key>.
SY-SUBRC = 0.
CHECK KOMPB V2 -KZUMW IS INITIAL.
SY-SUBRC = 4.
ENDFORM.
FORM KOBEV_<Key>.
SY-SUBRC = 0.
CHECK KOMPB V2 -KZUMW IS INITIAL.
SY-SUBRC = 4.
ENDFORM
on the other had, i have check 2-3 standard Systems,
same for Settings for the SD Interface: Shipping Documents> Output Determination> Check Conditions..
it is like below
Routine number: <26>
Description: Environmentally rlvt
Active: X (set)

Source code:

ENDFORM
so which one is Correct? Implementation Guide or Standard Setting of System.
Please guide me.
Edited by: Amol Joshi on Dec 29, 2010 4:42 PMHi Amol.
Both are correct.
The MSDS can be send with the sales order (V1) or with the delivery (V2), it depends of the logistic process configured in the system.
In SD the delivery may or may not be configured.
If the delivery is configured selects V2, in the other cases V1.

Why is Refresh Sheet not showing me the parameters for report?
I have a really large amount of data showing up in my report. It is taking forever (times out after 30 minutes) for my data to display. In the past, I have cancelled and then used the refresh sheet to constrict my report parameters and then rerun the report. However, today, after I select cancel, and then Refresh Sheet, the report just kicks off again and times out again without showing me my parameter list and without allowing me to specify my running parameters?
Why is this happening and how can I get my Refresh Sheet to allow me to specify values for my execution parameters.
Thanks,
Cherie MachlerHi Cherie,
Is this problem happening in Viewer?
If yes, I had a SR open with oracle for this problem. It was recently closed without resolution. It is a problem that they are not willing to fix. My scenario is that I open a report with multiple worksheets that are long running and with multiple input parameters. I run the report with the default parameters. Realize I didn't input the correct thing, so I cancel the report. If I cancel at 3 seconds or less, my session hangs and I have to start a new internet session. If I cancel beyond 13 seconds, the cancel takes me back to the select worksheets screen but only allows me to run the report - no changing of parameters allowed.
Message I received from Oracle:
"I have received a response on Bug 5576575 - CANNOT CHANGE THE PARAMETER VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A
REPORT IN VIEWER and internal enhancement request Bug 6007588 - NEED TO CHANGE THE PARAMETER
VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A REPORT IN VIEWER.
The bug applies to 10.1.2.54.25 also. Regarding allowing the parameters to be changed bug 6007588 the
response " in order to fix this,it would need a change in architecture on how we capture and save state
information. This is unlikely ".
It will not be possible at this time to change the parameters when cancelling a query in Viewer."
NOTE: If you read the bugs, they were logged against versions prior to 10.1.2.54 which means they should also apply to 10.1.2.50.

Hi all,
I am getting error while processing report shipping.
I have processed sales order and the delivery so the report shipment has been triggered. Now I want to process the report shipping by using Tcode-CVD1. I have changed the status "Order released" to "Order being processed" and saved.
So this makes report shipping to be in queue, but I want to print immediately so I choose Ship Immediately.
So the report shipping orders are set to status In work. The job (EHS_REPSHIP_DISPATCHER) send print jobs for MSDS reports to the spooler.
When I check the Flow trace Iam getting an error message
1)Error on WWI server SV011: Generated files not found
2)Saving document data has failed
3)Shipping order process terminated
Pease find the screen shot in the link.
http://sapehs.googlepages.com/ReportShipping.doc
Can anyone try a solution for this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Srinivas NookireddyDear Srinivas

Crystal Report Viewer Credential Prompt for Report with Dynamic Parameters
The .NET Crystal Report Viewer is prompting for database credentials when launching a report containing dynamic parameters. This only occurs for reports created with SAP Crystal Reports 2011 designer. Reports created with Crystal Reports XI designer (where dynamic parameters were first introduced) work correctly.
The credential prompt window contains the following fields:
- Server Name: <server name> (disabled)
- Database Name: <database name> (disabled)
- User Name: <empty> (enabled)
- Password: <empty> (enabled)
- Use Single Signon Key: false (disabled)
The values in the prompt window which are disabled are the database connection values used during the design of the report in the SAP Crystal Reports 2011 designer.
Expected Result:
- No prompt for database credentials.
- Values read from the database should be populated in a drop down for the dynamic parameters.
Environment:
- Visual Studio 2010 (C#)
- Windows 7 Enterprise
- SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4
- SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010
- SAP Crystal Reports 2011
The database connection is being set to use a DSN. It must be a DSN as the calling application is only aware of the DSN/Username/Password values. These values are being passed to the Crystal Report Viewer contained in a Windows form.
The database connection for the report is being set as follows:
foreach (InternalConnectionInfo internalConnectionInfo in this.report.DataSourceConnections)
// Must set the UseDSNProperties flag to True before setting the database connection otherwise the connection does not work
if (internalConnectionInfo.LogonProperties.ContainsKey("UseDSNProperties"))
internalConnectionInfo.LogonProperties.Set("UseDSNProperties", true);
// Supposed to set the database connection for all objects in the report (ie. main report, tables, sub reports)
internalConnectionInfo.SetConnection(this.DSN, string.Empty, this.LoginName, this.Password);
The SetConnection method's signature is as follows:
SetConnection(string server, string database, string name, string password)
As you can see from the code snippet above I am setting the DSN name as the server parameter, blank for the database parameter (a database connection using DSN should only require DSN name/Username/Password) and the database username and password respectively.
Is this a SAP bug?
Is this the correct way of setting the database connection to use a DSN?
Is there some other properties that need to be set somewhere else in the report through code?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks for the pointer to the database connection code generator. After taking a look at the output from the tool I was able to finally get the dynamic parameters to load and populate properly without prompting for credentials. I needed to tweak the outputted code a bit to match my requirements of using a DSN only connection.
Instead of updating the database connection properties contained within the Report.Database.Tables collection from the CrystalReports.Engine namespace, I changed it to replace the database connection properties in the Report.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.Database.Tables collection from the CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel namespace. For one reason or another, using the RAS namespace solved the problem.
Below is the updated code with the change made:
using RAPTable = CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.Table;
foreach (InternalConnectionInfo internalConnectionInfo in this.report.DataSourceConnections)
// Must set the UseDSNProperties flag to True before setting the database connection
if (internalConnectionInfo.LogonProperties.ContainsKey("UseDSNProperties"))
internalConnectionInfo.LogonProperties.Set("UseDSNProperties", true);
// Sets the database connection for all objects in the report (ie. main report, tables, sub reports)
internalConnectionInfo.SetConnection(this.DSN, string.Empty, this.LoginName, this.Password);
// The attributes for the QE_LogonProperties which is part of the main property bag
PropertyBag innerPropertyBag = new PropertyBag();
innerPropertyBag.Add("DSN", this.DSN);
innerPropertyBag.Add("UserID", this.LoginName);
innerPropertyBag.Add("Password", this.Password);
innerPropertyBag.Add("UseDSNProperties", "true");
// The attributes collection of the tables ConnectionInfo object
PropertyBag mainPropertyBag = new PropertyBag();
mainPropertyBag.Add("Database DLL", "crdb_ado.dll");
mainPropertyBag.Add("QE_DatabaseType", "OLE DB (ADO)");
mainPropertyBag.Add("QE_LogonProperties", innerPropertyBag);
// Pass the database properties to a connection info object
ConnectionInfo connectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
connectionInfo.Attributes = mainPropertyBag;
connectionInfo.Kind = CrConnectionInfoKindEnum.crConnectionInfoKindCRQE;
connectionInfo.UserName = this.LoginName;
connectionInfo.Password = this.Password;
// Replace the database connection properties of each table in the report
foreach (RAPTable oldTable in this.report.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.Database.Tables)
RAPTable table = new RAPTable();
table.ConnectionInfo = connectionInfo;
table.Name = oldTable.Name;
table.QualifiedName = oldTable.QualifiedName;
table.Alias = oldTable.Alias;
this.report.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetTableLocation(oldTable, table);
this.report.VerifyDatabase();

Dynamic date parameters for a scheduled report that runs every day
I have a report that has input parameters for a start date and
end date. The report will be scheduled to run once a day at a
scheduled time. I need the report to automatically set the start
date and end dates when the report runs at the scheduled time.
When the report runs at the scheduled time, the end date needs
to be set to that time and the start date needs to be set to 24
hrs before the end date. I want the start and end dates to roll
forward automatically when the scheduled report runs each day. I
don't want any user intervention to change the start and end
dates every day. How can I do this in a report ?
Also, since the report is scheduled to run each day, I want the
output to be saved to a unique file name each time the report is
run as each day's report will report on the data only for that
day. How can I get the report to save to a unique file name
automatically each day ? Again, I don't want any user
intervention where they would set the output file name manually.Try adding the following in the beforereport or beforepform
trigger, before the RETURN clause (TRUNC gets rid of the time
component of the date):
:p_date_from := TRUNC(sysdate) - 1;
:p_date_to := TRUNC(sysdate);
:desname := 'REPORT'||TO_CHAR(sysdate, 'DDMMYYYY')||'.txt'

How use parameters on a html region for report query region
Hi all.
I have created a number of report regions which initially query some data.
The requeriment now is to have a date range (initial and final) and use this range as a parameter for report queries.
i created a new region containing these two date values. Now i need to:
- Give this date fields and initial value: say first and last day of current month.
- Perform a validation to ensure initial date is less or equal to final date.
- And most importantly, i need to reexecute the queries based on this date range.
How do i do it...?

set parameter id 'KS8' field co_podat-high. "to date
set parameter id 'GJR' field P_RYEAR.

and return.
What would be reason?
Thanks

WWI server problem with report shipping order
Hi everybody,
we have a problem with the WWI server and report shipping orders for Inbound documents (PDF):
after we created an entry in CVD1 and using buttons "Accept" and "Ship immediately" we run the report RCVDEVEN. First time we did it the WWI server started working and ended with error but assigned the correct PDF. After that, the WWI server didt start anyway.
First error message:

Error message in SDS report shipping processing
Hello everybody,
we are running a SAP ECC 6.00 system with EA-APPL 15.
We are using the standard SDS shipping process of inbound documents triggered by delivery.
Everything worked fine, but all of a sudden each SD_CALL gets an error message in CVD1 in the flow trace:
Main function CVEB_RDOS_GENERATE was called
Starting user exit CVEO_RDO_BUNDLE_GENERATE
Shipping order processing terminated --> Message no. DV456
Status switch from Bundled to Errors found
CG5Z shows WWI server is up and running, SM59 shows no problem, service on WWI server is started.
I already checked the following OSS notes:
1075753 - Report shipping - Error during sending of inbound reports
1096697 - EH&S report shipping
995736
855793
But now I have no more ideas.
Every hint is highly appriciated, as the problem occurs on the productive system.
Best regards,
Christoph
PS: Possible new reason: authorization check failed for the user:
Object Class BC_A
Authorization Object S_ARCHIVE
Authorization Field ACTVT --> value needed 01
Authorization Field ARCH_OBJ --> value needed CV_DVS
Could that be the reason?
Edited by: Christoph Giehl on Mar 11, 2011 10:27 AMHello Christoph
only a guess: during the SDS shipment the program need to read SBRs from DMS or Archive. Furtheremore there is the need to read the cover sheets to process them and then at the end the SBEs are created (either in DMS or Archive) which stay normally samething like x days in the system and are deleted after that.
I believe that the access violation indicates may be that the user does not have enough rigths to create the SBEs.

Parameters and report on the same page
I am new to HTML_DB. I would appreciate your help with the following:
I have html page with items(parameters) and report on the same screen.
Items are:
Customer: Select list with Submit
Invoice No.: Select list - Populated invoices numbers for the selected customer
Department: Select List
Prod Month: Date Picker
Button: Report View.
Users can select any of the above parameter to create a report. The problem is when I don't select any customer and just select the department or prod month and click on a Report View button, I get SQL error in the Invoice Number item.
It seems when the page refreshes to create a report Invoice Number items sql query is executing but when it does not find the customer name, its giving the error.
If I select a customer name, the page gets refreshed and the report is generated. I dont want to create a report when they select a customer. I want them to select the parameters and click on the Report View button to create the report on the same page.
Thank you.
Regards,
RekSounds like you are building the query string and submitting that and the fact that they leave something out messes up that string...<br><br>If that's the case, you can add validations to the page to make sure they enter in all the appropriate information.<br><br>

Srinivasan.Srinivasan-
For creating a Generic extractor based on a FM, you first of all need to know what is going to be your structure.. i.e. what all fields you need to pull from what all tables. A functional consultant may help you identify the exact DB tables.
Once you know them, hand over the requirement and the pdf mentioned by Krishna to the ABAP guy, he would be able to take this up further.
Also decide 1st whether you would be using a full load or delta. There is a slight difference in the way they are built.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi experts,
can i pass table as parameters in report ( something similar as in function module ) ?
I would like to use "my" structure for table as parameters.
Thanks in advance
MartinIf both reports are Z reports you can use EXPORT & IMPORT statements.
In first report.
EXPORT gt_item FROM gt_item to memory id 'ITEM'.
SUBMIT zreport2 AND RETURN.
and in second report.
IMPORT gt_item TO gt_item from MEMORY id 'ITEM'.
