Envy 110 settings menu password

Hi, I am trying to get into the settings menu for my Envy 110 on my computer, I get a window appear titled "Windows Security" and the message "The server 192.168.0.13 at admin requires a password" I have tried to enter my HP user name and password but this must be incorrect, it then says on the HP screen "your session is locked, please try later" I am the sole user and administrator for this computer, although it does connect to a network at my employers, is this Windows security something to do with this or the HP site ?

Cannot find duplexing for HP Envy 110 on Mac OS 10.6

So I just purchased the HP Envy 110 D411a printer mainly for the convenience of its automated double-sided printing feature. However, that functionality doesn't work. I went under my system preferences on my Mac OSX 10.6 and followed the directions; under the "driver tab" there should be a box that I can select for duplexing, yet that option does not appear. Why is that?

The Two-Sided option should not appear within the driver settings, as the specific model contain internal duplexing module and therefore enabled by default.
Please follow the steps below and let me know if that helps:
1. From the application used to print, click the File menu, and then select Print. The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the printer name to see all available settings.
2. In the expanded Print window you will find next to Copies the checkbox for Two-Sided. Check the box.
NOTE: If the checkbox does not appear within the specific application print dialog, skip this step.
3. To select the binding type click the lowest selection box listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
4. Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
5. Set the Two-Sided option as Long-Edge binding (Portrait), or Short-Edge binding (landscape).
You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...

When I go to Apple TV menu and click on Settings, nothing happens. How do I get into the settings menu?

Hi, I can't get past the setup stage with my Apple TV box. It takes forever trying to set the date and time and never seems to achieve this. When I select menu and then select Settings, nothing whatsoever happens. If I can't access the Settings menu, then clearly I can't set the network and password. Can anyone tell me how to get into the Settings menu please? Thanks

Honestly, I have never heard of this issue. The only thing that i can recommend is obtaining a Micro-USB cord and restoring the device. That's probably your only way out of this.

Color management with Aperture and HP Envy 110

I have an up-to-date version of Aperture and a new HP envy 110 printer. There does not seem to be the option to use any clor profile but HPs on the print menu. Th eproblem seems to be common to all other apps I use. Have I wasted my money?

I see that you are having some scanning and eFax issues with the ENVY 110. I would like to see if I can help. When you try to scan from the front panel of the printer into the computer, what error or message do you get?
Although the 10.9.4 Operating System is not listed in this document, the 10.8 steps will be the same: A 'No Computer Detected' or 'Connection Error' Message Displays during Scanning.
Regarding the eFax issue, you would need to speak with the HP Cloud Support Team. If you live in the USA/Canada, 1-855-785-2777. If you live outside the USA/Canada, click HERE to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

My envy 110 works but the web services and eprint services give "connection error". what to do?

My family use Macs and Apple Deskbook and a BT Homehub network. The HP troubleshooting instructions do not always match what is on computer screen. The menu paths that HP gives sometimes do not exist.
The Envy 110 printer was working fine but it often could not be found by the computers so I followed HP instructions to set a Static IP Address on the Printer. But now the Web Service and ePrint Service give a "connection error". Any suggestions? I am annoyed that HP don't give a phone number to help.

When you set that static IP on the printer, make sure of 2 things:
1. The IP address is outside the DHCP range of the router.
2. Use an external DNS, like Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Unable to enter keystrokes on envy 110 keyboard.

The keyboard has stopped accepting the keystrokes when using the on board keyboard. Nothing is working.....the shift, num keys, Caps, or lower case.
Is there an other way of entering my SIDD name and network password??

If the front panel of your Envy 110 is malfunctioning and not working for you, I would recommend a power reset and ensuring that the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help the front panel issue.
You will need the front panel to enter your network information. If the printer has any hardware issues, such as the currect issue, it could cause a domino of problems, so it's always best to troubleshoot and fix the current issue before moving on.
You can also try plugging the printer in to a different wall outlet, to see if that helps.
If the panel does not work properly afterwards, I would lastly suggest technical support.

If you mean the BIOS password, you can take the following general steps to set blank password:
Note: different brand computer has different setting in BIOS, you should contract your manufacturer for accurate information.
Use BIOS to disable Pre-boot authentication:
1. Reboot the machine and press F2 at the BIOS Splash Screen.
2. Enter the System or Admin Password to access the BIOS settings.
3. Navigate to Security > Passwords.
4. Select System Password. Enter the old System password, leave the new password fields blank and select OK.
5. The System Password status will change to ‘Not Set’.
6. Repeat the previous steps for Hard Drive Password if one is set.
7. If you accessed the machine with the BIOS Admin password and the System password is unknown: a. Select Admin Password.
b. Select Unlock; enter the Admin password and OK.
c. Enter the old Admin password, leave the new password fields blank and select OK.
d. The Admin and System Password status will change to ‘Not Set’.
8. Exit the BIOS settings and boot into Windows. Pre-boot authentication is now disabled.

Most of the settings, in my settings menu, have disappeared from my iPhone 4. WiFi, Airplane mode, general have all disappeared. Go back a hit the settings button at the top left to go back to the main menu.

I cannot find all my installed apps on the "use cellular data for" tab on the settings menu.

I have a new iphone 5s and on the first day I've received it, I updated to IOS 8.0.2.
Today, I've decided to turn my cellular data on and, in order to consume less data, I thought I would disable some of the apps. However, only a few were available/visible on the "use cellular data for" tab. However, when, with the cellular data turned on, I opened a missing app on the phone, it would start to appear on the list (where it wasn't previously). Also, when I go to the app on the settings menu, it would not have shown the option, "use cellular data" before I've opened the app and now it does. Do I need to turn on every single app before I can select my cellular data preferences? I know people with the same phone and their apps appear all, as expected.
I don't know if this is a problem of my own carrier but I don't think so, because the people I mentioned earlier have the same carrier.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Appel logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, did you try to switch off Cellular Data, restart the phone and switch it back on again?

Hp envy 110 will not stay connected to network

I use an HP Envy 110 connected by a home wifi network, I am constantly having to add a new printer due to the origional not being available. I do have multiple computers accessing the printer on the same home network.
