I imagine that this is no longer a problem for you by now.
In the event that it is still bugging you, try the following:
Shut down all your programs and shut down the computer.
Switch off the printer.
Switch off the router.
Wait around for two minutes or more.
Swtich on the router.
Wait for about a minute or more for the router to completely boot.
Boot your computer and log in.
Switch on the printer.
That may clear things.

  • Installing software for MAC 0S X 106.8 and ENVY 7645 all in one printer

Is there a way to download software so that my MAC OS X 10.6.8 and work with my new HP ENVY 7645 all-in-one printer?
If so, please tell me how to do that?  Thanks!

    Hi,
    I afraid not.
The printer is only supported on 10.7 or newer OS versions, as listed within the System Requirements below:
    http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04353671/
If your Mac support Yosemite you may upgrade your operating system to 10.10 for free:
    https://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/?
The other option os to replace the printer with another model which is compatible with your operating system.

  • HP Envy 7645

We are having a COPY problem Houston! My second HP Envy 7645 was just purchased at Costco a month ago. (Took the first one back for the same problem) Works fine when printing wireless from either a Macbook Air running Mavericks or Hp Pavillion laptop running windows 8.1, BUT when I try printing a single-sided (or double sided) copy from either the ADF or the glass, I get nothing, nada, zip. Basically feeds the document in, makes some noise then hangs with the busy icon running. To clear I have to cancel printing and turn off the printer. After restarting the copy function works just fine either from the ADF or the glass.

    Hey there @LisaDA ,
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to ask that question on the HP Forums today!
I see you are having a bit of trouble with the printer going into sleep mode and not responding or waking up when you need it to/ask it to. Sometimes printers get these sleep mode issues as they are really moody being that just need a kick in the butt from time to time to get them in the working mood.
I am linking a document below that addresses this issue and explains some of the reasons why it might be happening and steps to stop it from happening/re-occuring. Hope it helps you out and solves the issue for you. If it does not just let me know and I'll give you some further direction.

  • Envy 7645 photos coming out poorly

When I print from my brand-new Envy 7645 (on photo paper) using the computer, no matter what settings I use, the printer "rushes" through the job. Quality is fairly good with good contrast and crisp, sharp blacks, except there is severe banding with a light stripe every 3/4 inch in the dark sections of the photo.
When I print directly on the printer by inserting a SD card, using exactly the same paper, the printer "takes its time" as you would expect when printing photos. The bands are gone, but the photos come out muddy. Blacks are brownish and contrast is poor. This seems like it must be the printer's  "photo printing mode".
It seems to me that what is happening is, in "photo printing mode" the printer is using only its color inks, leaving muddy blacks, but when I print from the computer it is printing in regular quality mode, but correctly using black AND color ink to achieve rich blacks.
Is there any way to tell this printer to both take its time, printing in photo mode, but ALSO using its black ink to get rich blacks?

  • Envy 7645 Cannot connect to web services

I have a new Envy 7645 that cannot connect to the web services.
    Things I have tried:
Verified Internet access. The printers "Web Access Test Results" report shows "No problems found"
Verified wireless connectivity by connecting to the printers Embeded Web Server
I statically set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 (primary) and 8.8.4.4 (secondary)
The IPv4 address was assigned via DHCP so I changed it to static (manually) assigned
Re-verified wireless connectivity by connecting to the printers Embeded Web Server with the static IP
Lots of printer reboots to make sure the changes took effect. (Have you tried turning it off and on again? Ha!)
    Logged into the https://www.hpconnected.com website
The printer is registered under my devices tab
The printer status is "offline"  (I assume this would change if the web services were working)
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello treadwayl,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Thanks for putting the time in to a very informative post about the ENVY 7645 not being able to connect to Web Services. When you attempt, what is the exact error or message?
I would like to you try the DNS of: Primary DNS Server = 209.244.0.3 & Secondary DNS Server = 209.244.0.4
Re-boot printer and router, then try again to connect.
Let me know the out come, cheers.

  • HP Quick Forms won't print on my HP ENVY 7645

Most of the apps work on my HP ENVY 7645.  However I'm not able to print anything on the HP Quick Forms.  Any solutions?

    Hi @trissak,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I gather that you are unable to print using the HP Quick Forms printable found on the front of your  Envy 7645 printer.
Once you have chosen the form that you would like to print (for example 5mm graph paper) you should see an example on the screen with a blue “Print” button in the lower right hand corner.  Before pressing the print button, please tap on the example form and hold until you see the number of copies choice appear beside the example.  Once the number of copies is chosen, please tap on the blue print button.  The form should then print.
Please let me know the outcome.

  • HP ENVY 7645 printing

I just bought a new HP ENVY 7645, it is installed and works wonderfully.  My question is: am I able to print standard checks individually?  I think I saw something indicated during setup, but I can't find it now.

    Hi @GBFlor,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you are wondering if you can print checks individually with your HP Envy 7645. I am happy to look into this for you!

  • My Envy 7645 does not have the grayscale option in advanced set up to print in black and white

My Envy 7645 does not have the grayscale option in advanced set up to print in black and white

Hi , Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that your HP Envy 7645 does not have the grayscale option in advanced set up to print in black and white, on Windows 7. I am happy to help!  It is possible, that you may only have the basic driver installed, instead of the full feature software and drivers. I would recommend to try our HP Print and Scan Doctor first, to see if ti can resolve the issue automatically. Otherwise, please try the following steps:  Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the Printer Software.Clean boot the computer. How to perform a clean boot in Windows.Disable any Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.Disable any firewall programs. Turn Windows Firewall on or off.Create a new user account. Managing User Accounts and Logins (Windows 7).Reinstall using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows. Hope this helps!  “Please click the Thumbs up icon below to thank me for responding.”

  • HP Envy 7645 won't print from photo tray

FIXED my own problem!Never thought to try setting the paper size to 4x6 in/10x25 cm! That's apparently what I get for being metric-phobic (or ignorant). But really, why provide a 4x6 option in the first place?  I can't get my Envy 7645 printer to print from the photo tray.  I'm specifically trying to print from the Photos app. I select the print option, set the printer, paper size (4x6), and paper options to "print from photo tray." I select print, and the HP print dialog appears and from there I am unable to set the photo tray as the paper source. The dialog comes up with "Default Settings" as the Presets option and when I scroll down through the dialog to select the Paper Type/Quality option, it shows paper type as HP Photo Papers, Quality is set to Normal, and the Source is set to Automatic (which fails to print from the photo tray; it defaults to the main tray). When I try to shift from Automatic to Photo Tray, I get an error message that says "The paper size selected is not supported by the Photo Tray. To print with the Photo Tray, go to the Page Setup dialog, choose a paper size supported by this tray, and then return to the Print dialog." At this point, I have no idea where to find the Page Setup dialog (it's not immediately apparent in the avialable options and I can't seem to find it under any of the Photos print options). Further, I don't understand why I'm getting the error in the first place as the paper installed in the tray is, indeed, 4x6 (as set in the original Photos dialog). I've tried playing with any number of varities of options (e.g, changing from HP Photo Papers to the generic other photo papers option, not specifying size of photo paper) and any time I select the photo tray option, I get the error message.

Hey ,  Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  Did you still need assistance?  I see that you have some interface questions about printing photos from a Yosemite Mac using your HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer.  I would like to help.  Have you installed your printer's full-feature driver on the Mac?  If not, click here to install. Also, for your information, your printer's specifications re: supported photo paper sizes is available here.       When I tried printing a photo from my Yosemite machine (albeit with a different printer) this is how I configured the print job:   If I had the option I would also recommend setting the paper type to correspond with whatever kind of photo paper you're using.  If this approach doesn't help try the following steps:  Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.  Repair disk permissions on your Mac - click here for instructions.  Once you've finished running the above-noted utility, restart your computer. Lastly, click here to reinstall your printer.  Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below and clicking to accept this solution. Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!

  • HP Envy 7645 Squeak While Printing

The printer is quiet while at rest. When I click print to send a document to the printer, it activates and right before it pulls the first sheet through the squeak starts and has 2-3 squeaks as it is printing. I just printed a two page document and the second page did not squeak. I am using surge protector.I did check to be sure the priner is updated.I did perform other maintenance such as align printer and clean cartridges. I'm a bookkeeper and also assist with legal documents. I print a least 20 pages a day, sometimes more depending on the type of project I am working on. The printer is about 6 months old. It did not squeak when it was brand new. Not sure when the squeaking started but it is getting worse.

    Hi algoin,
I understand you have an Envy 5530 that has been causing you quite a bit of frustration. I'm sorry to hear this but I will certainly do my best to assist you.
Because you have enrolled your Envy in the Instant Ink program, I would suggest that you call in to HP Cloud Services (1-855-785-2777) for troubleshooting assistance. These agents are specifically trained on the Instant Ink program and can better assist you with the issues.

  • Hp envy 7645 printer too small print

The print is tiny..How do I enlarge?

Hello @dyphilpot , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see you are having issues with your printer freezing up.  I'd like to help!
I'd recommend starting with a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend plugging the printer power into a different wall outlet.
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP Envy 7645 won't make copies using the printer's feed

When I place my to-be-copied paper into the feed on top of the printer, it will feed 1/2 way and say it is copying, but ulitmately it ends up with a spinning wheel on the screen until I finally have to cancel it. Then it feeds a blank page through the printer, but will not release the original and will not allow me to power down the printer. Ultimately I have to pull the plug and then turn it back on to reset. This seems to be a problem with this model. Is there something that can be done to fix it? (It will not copy at all if I place the original on the scan glass)  Thank you!

I just found a post about plugging it directly into the wall outlet and it has worked twice in a row. Will call it good for now and come back if there are further problems. Thank you!
