Envy beats/audio software error 0xc0000006

Hello! I am new to the forum and I have come to ask for help. I am trying to install the software for my new vinyl cutter/plotter but am wondering if we even have the correct hookups. I have photographed the back of the PC and labeled the items we may have an issue with. I've contacted the plotter company but they are not responding. As you can see, we needed to have an adapter to even hook up the monitor. A gal from Best Buy told me I had to special order a cord online from someone who sells "them. Just goodle vinyl cutter" she said. The guy from Radio Shack said it was a simple fix and sold me a $25 adapter for a USB port, which is not working for me. I don't think we have it correct yet. Is there anyone who help me figure this out?

the top panel ( usb slot x 2 + beats audio out jack x 1 + microphone jack x 1) cannot use neither
I want to ask that the issue come from audio or mainboard controller driver?
and how to fix these problems

Thank you for your inquiry.
I understand that after updating to Windows 8.1 you no longer have the Beats Audio software.
You should be able to download an updated audio driver from HP Pavilion 15-p011sv Software & Drivers page .
This should reinstall your Beats software.

Beats Audio Software and On Screen Volume and Brightness Icons Not Showing

Hi,
I have a HP Envy 6 Ultrabook 6-1010ea, It had to have a new hard drive due to hardware failure and now I have it back I can't find the beats audio symbol and the associated software, also the on screen displays of the volume control and broightness icons don't appear anymore, when I download certain drivers to solve the issues each one doesn't see, to work with the other, I can get sound back on the internet OR the icons back.
If you could help I'd be very greatful, thanks.

Downgrade to win7 problem with audio drivers. beats audio software for win7?

I recently purchased the HP Envy 700-074 from best buy. it was necessary to downgrade to windows 7 for some work software and I would like proper audio drivers/software for windows 7. Right now it seems to be detecting as Nvidia audio driver but in this case it doesnt allow my front panel audio ports to output audio. I would also like to have beats working.
here are the hardware ID's associated with the card

even those VEN_10DE's seem to associate to nvidia, but from HP the driver is meant to be IDT high definition audio? is something going on here?
the only change i've made to the computer is upgraded to an EVGA Nvidia GT 610 video card.,

I have similar problem here.
I bought HP Envy 810-200nr and I hate W8, so I installed Windows Server 2008 R2, which is my favourite.
Then I solved numerous problems with chipset drivers and finally it all works, but Audio (IDT HD Audio) does not work.
Completely silent.

i just did a windows 8.1 reinstall, and now suddenly my audio doesnt work? i torubleshoot the issue and it suggests uninstalling and re installing, but i dont know how to do that cant find the driver software someone help?

What kind of reinmstall did you perform? If you used the recovery media, then this will be pretty simple. Boot to the recovewry media again and this time select the Reinstall drivers and applications option. Find the audio driver on the list of available drivers, put a tick in the box to its left and then click on the install button in the lower right hand corner of the window. The driver will be installed. Your list will be different than the following one, but this is only an example.

Beats audio EQ?

Sounds right. I have noticed Live support or support of any kind at HP is worthless. Right from the start there is a language barrier because my calls are routed to a foreign country. If and when we get past that the wrong information is given so they are absolutely no help. Unfortunately, this thread is not about worthless tech support. Moving on....
I own a dv7 laptop with beats audio software that does not look like the one pictured. I would like to know where to get the beats audio software that has settings, setup, equalization on the left has playback, recording, preference at the top, and Jacks to the right. As well as, allowing the user to adjust the sound settings within the software. Like the one pictured in this thread.
The one I have looks different and does not have that much information. For example, volume, listening experience, recording experience, advance settings is at the top. The only other options are playback device and recording device to the left. To make any device sound changes, I go into advance settings, click on windows sound properties to launch the windows software. I know where to find windows sound properties so having that option isn't such a big deal. Compared to the one pictured, the beats audio software I have gives the user much less in regards to sound adjustments. Can someone please tell me where to find the software like the one pictured? Thank you in advance.

I lost my Beats Audio

I downgraded my HP Envy dv7 Notebook PC to Windows 7 and installed a SDD. Now, my Beats Audio drives and display are now missing. I don't see the drivers for it online for my product. Please help!

Hi there , I understand that you downgraded your system to Windows 7, and now you no longer have the Beats Audio software. Please post the full product number for your notebook. See the following, if you need help with that information.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Normally the Beats Audio is a part of a package, including the Operating System for a specific model. It may not be available for a different OS for that system.

Beats Audio Driver missing on HP Pavilion 13 x360 a110dx

I recently installed a SSD in my laptop and downloaded all drivers from HP. When I installed the Realtek HD Audio driver from the support page, the beats audio software did not install with it. Where can I get the beats audio driver for my laptop? Also, I do not want to have to use the recovery partition on the old hard drive (also I should not be forced to do so as that is an insult to any HP customer).

Two questions:
what makes this machine "beats audio"? I just have regular speakers hooked up? (I didn't buy this computer for me.)
Secondly - the original hard drive was replaced due to failure and a temporary drive installed. what is a recommended setup with one regular drive but fast (1Tb is plenty of room).

Beats Audio is nothing more than Beats tailored hardware paired with Beats Audio software.
The recommended setup is what was original installed in the computer and the use of your HP Recovery Discs to return hcomputer to a factory like state.

Beats Audio worked great when I was using Windows 8.1 then upgraded to Windows 10 and now I no longer have or cannot open Beats Audio! Hp envy ultrabook 6-1209 tx beats audio problme

hi,
i have hp envy ultrabook 6-1209txwith a windows 7 operating system it has beats audio ...and every time i restart the laptop the audio in icon seems to be working fine but in fact there wont be any audio so i would have to uninstall , restart and install again its original driver that comes with the laptop specs meanwhile on every restart after unistallation it installs defalut high defination audio itself...what can i do ?? i installed fresh driver from Software & driver downloads HP ENVY 6-1209tx Ultrabook | HP® Support but it still gives me same problem.on every restart it disappears.even when tried other sources for IDT driver.please help me.

Hi @maryamis ,
I see that you found the work around and it does resolve the issue until you restart your notebook.
First I would delete the driver not just uninstalling it. If you uninstall the driver it remains in the system so when you restart Windows will automatically locate and reinstall it. If you delete the driver it is no longer available for Windows to install on a restart.
To prevent Windows from updating the driver again you will most likely need to change your update settings, if you have ti set to automaticall install all updates. To do this,
Go to the control panel
Select System and Security
Under Windows updates click turn auto updates on or off
Select Download updates but let me choose whether to install them
Click OK and exit.
You will need to periodically manually check to see if this issue has been resolved.
