EP-480 Ear Plugs, How much are they real

In AUS$, how much they worth?

It appears it would be in your best interest to pay full retail for a new phone as that would be cheaper over the life of the phone than paying for the amount of data you use.
To answer your questions, I have my data limit set because that is the actual amount of data I need. I had unlimited data for several years before switching to the Share Everything plan. Not once did I ever come close to even using 1 GB of data. I didn't "need" to be under 1 GB of data, I just didn't use that much data. The same can be said for the other smartphone on my account at the time. That was 2 unlimited data plans at $30 each for a combined monthly data total of normally under 1 GB. I now have 4 smartphones on my plan and our data allowance is 4 GB($70/month vs $120/month if we had 4 separate data plans). We normally use between 1.9 GB/month and 2.2 GB/month.
This amount of data which we use will give us MUCH more than calling, texting and "occasionally googling the nearest Cheesecake Factory".
Of course, everyone's needs are different and it would obviously be much cheaper for you to pay full retail for an upgrade when/if you choose to do so.

  • Do you have hindi fonts for InDesign CS4 and if so how much are they?

Do you have hindi fonts for InDesign CS4 and if so how much are they?

Adobe does offer a few Unicode fonts that support Hindi  I'd expect that you'd be asking for Devanagari fonts, though. Have you ever done any Hindi typesetting? I mean, when we typeset English we don't do it in "English fonts" but in "Latin-script fonts."
There are two main classes of Devanagari fonts - the more common, older fonts where someone took a Latin-script font, erased the characters, and replaced them with Devanagari glyphs, versus contemporary Unicode fonts. The first class are wonky, hard to use, and quite common. If you're in-country you will find lots of ways to buy those kinds of fonts. You also can use them in InDesign without needing any scripts or plugins to turn on the World-Ready Composer. I find Unicode fonts to be much easier to use, to automatically compose according to proper rules regarding behavior of glyphs - but to use them in CS4, you'd need something like World Tools or IndicPlus. I'm a World Tools user myself but if you're going to be doing only Hindi work in CS4, I'd suggest that you look at IndicPlus first.
In short - it's deeper than it looks. If you want to tell us more about what you're trying to do, we might be able to give you better advice.

  • I need a new back plate for my Macbook pro 13 , its got a dent in it , how much are they please? Thanks Steve

I need a new back plate for my Macbook pro 13 , how much are they please?

Check this site for parts and prices:
    http://www.ifixit.com/
You can always ask at the Genius Bar at your local Apple store, or inquire at an Authorized Apple Repair facility. The price usually depends on the age of your machine and the availability of the part.

  • How much are apple stores selling the old versions?

since the new versions arent out yet? havent been to the apple store yet. How much are they selling the old stock?
    in canada?
does the edu discount apply still?

I am not definite about the price, but I got mine (the older, late 2006 model) at $950 (Combo / 1.83ghz/ 512mb / 60gb) a week before the new ones came out.
Wait it for a little more and I'm sure the Apple stores would sell the old ones cheaper.

  • I deleted an app by mistake. when I tried to restore my phone from my icloud backup it wasn't there.  I need an older backup. How long are they kept?? Thank you

I delted an app by mistake.  when i tried to restore my phone from icloud I need an older backup. How long are they kept?? I'd like to get this app and it's contents back.
    thanks

Apple states that it keeps your last 3 iCloud backups, which would only go back a few days if you back up daily.  Also, apps are not stored in the backup, only your app data is.  The backup simply notes which apps were on your phone when it was backed up, then downloads them from the App store when you restore the backup.  If the app is no longer available in the App store, it will not be restored to the phone when you restore the backup.

  • How tough are they

Considering an iPhone but i want to know how tough are they as most of my phones do end looking a little shall we say battered.
For example my iPod is completely covered in scratches all over the display and the back.

I had mine for like two days, was holding it in my hand, the next second it was on the floor. I picked it up and saw that it fell right on the cornner putting a dent in it and that was all. Soo mad, had just bought the thing and then I went and dropped it but...oh well...So far it has been great. The silver rim around the front, it has a bit of just little were and tear from my pocket. I do Landscape Maintenance so I get dirt and everything else in there you know so. I'll see how it goes and update.

  • HT1430 my IPad 2 has gone off, I have tried all the usual things, it is 3 years old, is it possible the battery has worn out, and if so how expensive are they to replace

My apple 2  appears to have died ,is ir possible the battery is dead, and how expensive are they to replace?

    I'm adding more information:
in Finder, my iMovie folders are all visible and accessible.  When I click on a clip from iMovie Events folder, Quicktime opens and plays the clip.  ALL my video is not missing - it just isn't showing up in the Event Library!
This happened all of a sudden, while I was working on iMovie project (on both computers).
All my Projects are intact, and play when I open them.

  • How Much Are For SSD cards or drives? (not sure what it's really called?)

I have a question, for my first time being a mac user and all. How much are the ssd cards/drives? I have a 4GB and 2.4 ghz macbook pro of 2010 early, it's a 13". I'm thinking about how I am going to be majoring in animation design in college and I'm worried that my laptop might LAG or slow down. (Will it? :S) I know I probably sound stupid right now and probably being laughed about with this question but it's my first mac laptop that I will taking to college class with me. Anyone can answer my question that would be great.
Two people have suggested that I return this 13" for a 15" but I just dont' have the budget for the 15" and plus the 13" is great and portable.
    What do you guys think?

How much are the ssd cards/drives?
Depends on the maker, the size and how fast their throughput is. Do a google search and compare prices
t's my first mac laptop that I will taking to college class with me.
SSDs are not exclusive to Macs. You would be asking the same questions if you were considering a windows based laptop with an SSD.
Two people have suggested that I return this 13" for a 15"
For animation, their suggestion is correct.

  • How much are 2008 iMac approximately worth?

How much do the 2008 model iMacs go for approximately?

I have a late 2006 iMac that was purchased in 2007. From what I see it started having GPU failures (lines on screen - but not in safeboot) Seeing all the common GPU failures with those models and even with newer ones, I will not be investing in a $2000 machine with Apple anymore. They are not willing to work with me even though the failure happened last year or so and we had no idea that this was a manufacturing defect. They have helped many customers and because the rep felt like he doesn't feel like helping me, they have lost me as an iMac customer.
I don't feel comfortable paying more for their products anymore. Being an owner of almost all of Apples line, I feel cheated and betrayed. We are paying more for their quality yet we get nothing in return. It's distgusting. /end rant.
I will never purchase a brand new iMac anymore. So this is the reason I'm looking for an older model..for my kids who are interested in Objective C and for educational purposes.
oh and eBay does not work well in my country because of high shipping costs which is why I wanted to ask here to see what a fair price would be. There are only 2 iMacs for sale. One is on bid for $150 + 4 days and the other is $600 / no bids.

  • SCCM 2012 and .PCK files - how exactly are they used?

Ok, no one, not even Microsoft engineers can seem to provide a clear and definitive answer on this topic, everyone's understanding of the .PCK file with relation to SCCM 2012 is clear as mud.
I understand what .PCK files are...in the SCCM 2007 world, and how they work, all that jazz, what I don't understand is how/when/why they would be used by SCCM 2012...it seems that sccm 2012 would only need these .pck files during a reassignment of a shared
DP in a migration scenario...even that surmise is sketchy since I've watched very closely the DP content conversion process and at
no time did the server access the .PCK files to populate the single instance store.
I am going to do some more testing on my own, my ultimate goal is to permanent delete the contents (not the folder itself) of the SMSPKG folder, essentially all the .PCK and .DL$ files to save space on my server.
If any soul out there knows..not guesses...the purpose of the .PCK file in 2012, let me know please, don't just copy/paste other people's posts as an answer, explain in clear terms each step of the process that 2012 would utilize a .PCK, or if the answer
really is that 2012 does not use .PCK files at all, let me know.
I have a single primary site with 16 secondary sites in my SCCM 2007 environment, I'm migrating to a single primary with 16 distribution points...so even if .PCK's are used to populate secondary sites, I should not need them since I won't have any secondary
sites once all of my DP's are migrated...yeah?
    Thanks!
    Terry

Thanks for the reply Torsten, that would make sense if my primary site had any .pck files at all (my sccm 2012 site that is) only my DP's have .pck files. I have no child sites in my 2012 hierarchy unless DP's are child sites (I thought secondary sites are
child..) When my DP's require a package they get them from my primary site, not other DP's. I have no 'Pull' DP's setup.
If SCCM 2012 uses a 'single instance store', which contains 3 folders itself that seem to contain compressed versions of the package files, then there should be no need for another folder that also contains compressed files...just a thought.

  • The Walking Dead: How soon are they posted?

Hi - I'm super bummed that i have to leave for a business trip this Sunday when The Walking Dead comes back. How early are the new episodes posted in iTunes for download? Can you get it any time that day? or do you have to wait until after it has already aired on the east coast?  I'd love to have it for the plane!  Thanks!!

ahh - bummer, so basically i'm out of luck for the flight. I hope i can download it from Istanbul, Turkey. Sometimes when you travel overseas they say you can't download it.  Worst case scenario is, I come home the following friday - i watch the episode - then i only have to wait 2 days for the next one. =)   Thanks you guys.

  • Aperture Web galleries and own website integration - how flexible are they?

I've mainly been learning Aperture's photo management and adjustments and until today have ignored web albums and books.
Just had a play with making your own galleries for the web and I love the integration of captions. Was thinking I would have to rewrite all of these for my own website. At this stage does the Aperture webpages offer key word searching for website visitors? I'm guessing not but that would be a cool feature. I'm tired of waiting for google etc to work out searching jpeg embedded iptc data.
My main concern is how adaptable are the Aperture webpages to integration with one's existing website. The original concept of my own website was to add an image gallery with shopping cart facilities where people can click on an add to cart icon below each image. Would it be easy to integrate shopping cart facilities to the Aperture generated webpages?
I also wanted to have articles which use my images - I guess the webjournal could be used for that. Again, would it be possible to integrate a shopping cart into that as above?
One last dumb question - I exported a webgallery with one image just as an experiment and see it creates an index.html file. If I want to integrate this into my website (which already has an index file) do I just change the Aperture index file to something like imagegallery.html with an appropriate link on my own website. Or is it more complicated? And what about images I add later on and then export. Do they go to the same export folder and does changing the index file complicate this?
    Thanks for any help,
    Ross

i have posted a thread in the Aperture Assistant forum about this, and am looking for the same functionality.
yes you can use an external solution like SmugMug or Zenfolio, but to be able to have a synchronised gallery that clients can make selections, that update your library in a synchronised system would be second to none.

  • If i take my ipod4g(32gb) with a cracked screen and without a warranty to the apple store how much will they charge to fix it?

hey i just dropped my ipod and was wondering how much apple would charge to repair my screen. Some people have said that they do it for free even without a warranty and some say they charge lie 200 to 300 bucks

Sometimes if you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store the Genius will exchange it at no cost. It is not coverd by the warranty byt sometimes the Genius will.  Otherwise for a 32 BG yu will have to pay $149 for the exchange..

  • The Intel Mac Mini uses on-board graphics... how good are they?

I'm seriously considering getting an Intel Mac Mini and telling all my friends to get one, too. However, there's one problem - the graphics.
The whole reason I'd want an Intel Mac would be so that I could dual-boot into Windows Vista (when it comes out) in order to play the latest games.
How suitable are the on-board graphics for gaming? Would it be able to play Halo and Command & Conquer Generals well?
Basically, I want to know if it's the equivalent of a 64 MB graphics chip in speed, or if having on-board graphics makes it a bit slower. Does it have hardware acceleration? And is it suitable for smooth casual gaming at an average resolution?

I am very uneasy about finding integrated graphics in the new mini too.
When I first saw the new Mini website on Apple's website I was so excited "intel processor", "4 usb ports", "faster drives" but something was missing from the website; the "graphics" sub-category. I instantly wondering what was up with that, thinking right away obviously the graphics weren't good enough to brag about. I was right. On Apple's MacMini website, on the "Intel Core" sub-category page, bottom of the page, right side there's a weee comment on integrated graphics, "oh." was my only thought.
It's really disappointing to see integrated graphics in the new Mini. That AND the increase in price. The price of the Intel iMac dropped by $100 when it got introduced, but the Intel Mini's price goes up $100 upon introduction, further closing the price between the iMac and the Mini and making the iMac looking more and more attractice in terms of features-performance-price-value. I better run out and buy a Intel iMac before Apple removes the miniDVI-out port (which I'm predicting it will be removed in the next iMac revision)
Hopefully some Intel MacMini review tests in the coming weeks will reveal better-than-expected graphics performance.
I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this but... doesn't anyone here see that Apple has given us a preview of what's to come by putting integrated graphics in the new Intel MacMini? -- Anyone? I'll tell you -- we're going to see the exact same integrated graphics in the upcoming Intel iBooks, that's what.
