EP 6.0 SP2 MSS ITS Logout

We have implemented MSS in an EP 6.0 SP landscape. There are some aspects of MSS that still use ITS, even in the portal. I am having some trouble closing the ITS browser window when a users launches an ITS session from MSS. The exiturl is working on the VITS. I have created a simple html page that closes the window and I am using this page as the exiturl. The exiturl works fine when I launch the VITS via url in the browser. However, when I launch the VITS inside the MSS application the exiturl that closes the window does not work. I am left with a blank window in front of the portal window.
Any ideas on how I can close the ITS properly when it is running inside the MSS application in the portal environment?

i've read your post, this is an old one, so i don't know if it's solved.
I've such problem too, but our exit url works a little bit, the website comes up, bit didn't close automaticlay as defined in the coding of the page.
Java Script seems to be offline when i start an its service from Portal.
Did you have any solution .

Before I start with my question, I'd to say that I've spent a whole day testing out different answers on the internet, most of them here in msdn and some others from Stackoverflow. Almost all say the same, and nothing worked. So please, if you have ideas,
dont tell me anything its already online.
This is my scenario: I have a work order report, which normally doesn't get printed alone but in bulk with several others work orders.
Layout of main subreport its something like this:
Header (with some of the WO info, # and some filters)
Detailed Info
Subreport with stuff to do
Info
Subreport with safety instructions
Signatures
Then I have a main Report with just a table and the "main subreport" I wrote above.
I need a way to repeat the header per page, knowing its not static, it changes data on every WO.
Main problem is when any (or both) of subreports gets big enough that causes a page break and continues on next one. Works good except don't get the header.
Need the WO ID and some other data to be repeated if its more than 1 page.
I have tried everything, there is no solution I haven't tried, even updated to SP2 and its still the same.
Doesn't work:
Header in subreports
RepeatOnNewPage + KeepWithGroup
FixedData
Tablix properties
Using multiple tables in main subreport and try above options
Using just one table as layout of main subreport. and try above options.
I cannot have the header on the main report cos I need to set some of the details data on it..

According to your description, you want to have the header in subreport be repeated in each page if it need more than one page to render when exporting the main report. Right?
In this scenario, we just need to set the first static row repeat on new page in subreport, as we tested in our local environment, the header is repeated when exporting the main report.

On my M30 Windows XP Home can't update to SP2

Hi
A few days back I just did a recovery from the toshiba recovery CD.
Now I am trying to update the computer to service pack2.
But everytime I update, the updater could install my sercurity updates.
Why is it so. I bought this computer on Nov of 2004

Are you trying to install SP2 from its own CD or are you downloading it from the Microsoft Windows Update web site ?
If you are using the CD then you will need to make sure that you have any pre-requisite maintenance applied first before you can install SP2.
It may be better to use Windows Update to install the maintenance since this will check what fix level your notebook is at and then ship the required updates in the correct order.

What settings see Audigy again after XP SP2 install rollbac

Help please, Win XP SP PC, Audigy just fine, then install SP2, access denied 50% of the way through, install does a rollback, warning that some things may not work so well, and its lost me my sound :angry:Tried registry fixes progs, Creative diagnostics say hardware not found, but PC is dual boot and under Win2K audigy works fine. No doubt some tick box or entry somewhere corrupted. I have tried reloading the software from the CD back on, tried also uninstalling from CD then reinstalling, tried uninstall from add/rem progs then new install. Have not removed card as working in win2K so not card seating problem.Ghost copied back on the copy I made of my boot dri've prior to messing about with fixes, then tried for a repair from CD. Went into diagnostics and still fail declared, then whilst thats on screen, I was in word and heard paperclip go tink tink, wow...sound back, ran diagnostics and still fail, so its working, and well, and still diagnostics fail. Who cares if its working Do a restore point sensibly.Few hrs later after need for reboot, no sound, so did restore to that restorepoint, but still no sound...oh sod ! Now thats frustrating !?Please help, spent two whole days non stop fixing or trying to.Bloody SP2 :angry: its screwed up a few other things that I have now managed to recover. DBenz

Hi John-CL,PC tailor made to my own specs, March 2004, Win XP home SP is PC, this was around then and I wanted everything ok for such. The Motherboard is an MSI 875P neo (lovely board great reviews) having come out circa that time, all latest for XP.Audigy 2 ZSDevice Manager also blank after that SP2 install failed, unable to fix that despite many forum postings by others with same problems usually resolved with permissions in registry.A lot of the XP issues seem to end up in there, permissions, admin etc.Don't suppose video card details matter here. HDs are Seagate Barracudas. ATA onto Raid.Hope this hel

ITS templates

Hi, There.
Can anyone tell me what templates nad services are used/executed in ITS when using the JAVA function generateIACUrl() with the hrwpc_fc_exec parameter.
We are having a problem with our 2 environments that it displays the tow screen differently. One with SAP Gui screen other one with HTML. We compared the two instances and couldn't find any differences between them.
Any ideas?? We are runnning SAP EP6 SP2 and ITS 6.20

I can't see my 802.11n, 5ghz-only network on XP SP2

Hello everybody,
here's the problem:
I can't see a 5GHz-only network on Windows XP SP2 with Boot Camp's drivers. The Atheros 5008 Wireless Network Adapter built inside my Macbook is well known for being capable of managing "n-draft" networks.
The XP's installed driver, the one provided by Boot Camp, actually is the latest available.
Obviously I don't have the smallest problem on Mac OS 10.5.2, so why the Atheros 5008 Wireless Network Adapter shouldn't work on Windows XP SP2 when its driver can handle 5 GHz band?

Everything is ok with "g" or "b" network (created or not by Airport, as I can see the entire neighbourhood's networks), so the connection goes fine.
I did the Microsoft's mid-2007 hotfix for WPA2 encryption too as suggested by Apple to Boot Camp 1.2 users. Nothing got better.
I've spent hours on the internet looking for people experiencing this very issue, without success: could you please help me?

My MacBook is a Spring '07 model as well. I remember, when I got it, it only supported b/g. Then Apple offered up an update to n, through software update. I wonder if this update only works for OS X (Tiger or Leo shouldn't matter if it was a firmware update).

Volumes stay mounted after quitting Kanaka without logout

Hi,
this is with Kanaka 2.7 on Mac OSX 10.7.5. Our students have the unfortunate habit of quitting the Kanaka client without clicking on its Logout button. This has for consequence that the previous student's resources remain mounted on the desktop.
The next student, upon login, has therefore access to the resources of the previous one.
Is there some setting we can tune to avoid this situation? We tried the "always disconnect storage volume" preference, to no avail.

CS4 Master Collection installing in wrong folder

Heres my situation: I downloaded the installer, and want to put all of the programs on my second hard drive "D". "C" is where I have my windows install, but its a rather small drive. "D" is a 1TB drive, and I'd like the Adobe suite to be installed there, since it takes up quite a bit of space.
Every time I finish installing, nearly all of the programs are on my "C" drive, and not the "D" drive. I've tried:
-Telling the installer to install to a folder on the "D" drive.
and
-Changing the default install directories in the Windows registry to folders on the "D" drive.
Neither of these worked. It installs every single program I select onto the "C" drive, except for Photoshop x64, which somehow is the only one to make it to the "D" drive.
What can I do to remedy this problem? I'm running Windows XP x64 SP2, if its of any relevance.

It's very relevant since it's unsupported. You need to be aware that
you've got a mix of 64 bit and 32 bit programs.
Try a custom install without Photoshop since that's going to install two
versions. If that works out then do another custom install and install
Photoshop.
You should really consider moving to Vista for 64 bit computing.

Can somebody tell me how to transfer iPhone/iPod backup data from my old computer to a new one?

Is it possible for me to transfer the backup data of my iPod touch and iPhone from my old computer to a new one? I don't own any Macs, only PCs. My backup data are saved on a PC (desktop) which has Windows XP SP2 as its OS and I am planning to transfer my iPod/iPhone backup data to a laptop with Windows 7 as its OS. Is it possible? If so, can someone tell me the step-by-step procedure on how to do this, including how to find the folder where my backup data is stored. I would be very much grateful. Thanks a lot for those who may be able to help me with this matter. ^_^
P.S. I am planning to use an external hard disk to transfer my backup data to the new computer.

Ah, I see. In that case your life will be much easier if you convert your library back into a portable format before you attempt to migrate it.
The normal location for the iTunes Library.itl file is the iTunes folder at <User's Music>\iTunes though it is possible that you have previously moved the library separately from moving the media folder, or you could have your media stored outside the designated iTunes Media folder.
Here are the typical layouts for the iTunes folders:
In the layout above, with the media folder (everything in the red box) inside the library folder, the library is considered to be portable. You can rearrange things to make a split library portable by taking a number of small steps which don't break the library.
Before you start any media files that are outside of the designated media folder will need to be consolidated. N.b. Your iTunes Media folder location should be on the target drive that you are going to build the portable library on. If you have the bulk of your library is stored in a folder on an external drive that is not currently designated as the iTunes Media folder then change this property (Edit > Preferences > Advanced) before consolidating.
If the library is in the old style layout then it should ideally be be upgraded to iTunes Media Organisation (Library > Organise Library > Rearrange files in the folder <Media Folder>) to ensure that iPod Games, Mobile Applications etc. are brought inside the media folder.
The basic non-fatal manipulations are:
You can connect to an alternate set of library files by holding down Shift (Win) or Option (Mac) when starting iTunes.
You can move the library files to a new location as long as the media stays put.
You can move the library files and the media together if the media folder is a direct subfolder of the library folder.
If you have already moved/copied the media content from a subfolder of the library folder to a different location then you only need to copy the library files for it to appear as if you have moved the entire library in the way allowed above. I.e. just copy the library files into the parent folder of the media folder.
You can rename the media folder to iTunes Media (if it isn't already) if the media folder is inside the library folder.
iTunes uses the name of the folder holding the library files as the window title. Having made a library "portable" you may need to take a final step of renaming the library folder to iTunes or, if the library files have ended up at the root of a drive, moving all of the library files and content folders into a new folder called iTunes.
After each change you need to open, test and close the relevant library before attempting another change. If a change broke the library, undo it or revert to using the previous set of library files.
In essence all you need to do to make your library portable is copy the library files into the parent folder of the media folder on the external/secondary drive and use the hold-down-shift/option-when-starting-iTunes method to connect to it. Other manipulations may be required to normalize the library so that the library and media folders have standard names.

Hi Everyone,
While installing ASCS, Run the below mentioned command:
sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=<Virtual Host Name> as it was mentioned in the Installation guide. This command is valid for ASCS Step only.
Call the sapinst.exe with out any command line arguments for rest of the steps.
Hope this will reslove your issue.

test this site locally how do i set up the dreamweaver to use it
and when i tell it preview in browser it will work i'm new at
setting it up and i'm confused...

USB 2.0 probl

Hi i've got a Muvo 4gb and i've just got a new computer with xp home edition SP2 and its got usb2 ports. When i connect my mp3 player to it its recognized as a muvo but as i try to install it nothing happens, windows says drivers missing or something like that.
When i stuck it into my other computer (xp pro sp2) with an usb port it works. But i want to use my usb2 connection so please help me i've treid updating my windows but nothing helps!

Sounds like a USB compatibility issue with your PC, if the other PC is working fine. I would buy a good quality PCI USB2 card e.g. Adaptec, and see if this works.

HELP - Mac Prp Freezes when Installing Boot Camp Drivers

Please HELP me!
I just installed Windows XP Pro SP2 on its own hard disk on my Mac Pro using Boot Camp.
Then I inserted the Leopard Install DVD and started to install the boot camp drivers.
In the middle of installing the "Intel chipset" my Mac Pro froze. The might mouse no longer would move the cursor etc. After waiting 10 minutes, I just rebooted.
In the troubleshooting section of the Guide, it suggested I re-run the Boot Camp Drivers and click repair. I could not see any "Repair" option. The only option was INSTALL. I tried to install the Boot Camp drivers again and the mac Pro froze again (now showing Broadcom drivers).
Any ideas? This is really frustrating.

I was able to complete the boot camp drivers wizard in Windows. But I had to first disconnect my firwire iSight and my Apple USB Modem.
But now when I reboot I still see a new Hardware Found Wizard. It looks like it did not load the iSight Drivers.
Now when I run the Boot Camp Drivers I see REPAIR. I tried that but that did not solve the problem. No drivers are being loaded for my firewire iSight. In Device Manager I see question marks beside iSight.
Any Ideas?

Im setting up programs & applications using a new macpro, however eject key doesnt function, as i ahve multi-disk installations...and even listening to itunes/wmp11 volume keys dont work.
im just weary of drivers/updates as from previous built xp systems they seem to cause more harm than good and with reading alot of compatibility issues lately.
im wondering if there is any known good fix.
anyone try the new drivers?
i just dont want to have to end up using 3rd Party key re-mappers.
i like to keep it clean and minimal.

I use the standard apple keyboard with my MacPro. When I installed 2.1 I got "Apple Kybd errors could not install" message. Subsequently the Eject Key worked for the upper dvd but Option|Eject wouldn't open the lower drive. After numerous installs I uninstalled 2.1 and installed Leopard 2.0 drivers. I got the same error message and the keyboard will work period. I run XP SP2 on its own internal drive.
