EP forum is the worst forum when it comes to people rewarding points. I wish somebody could moderate the EP forums.

You have company. I do not know the exact statistics, but the ABAP Programming Forum is not far behind. Of late I find a lot of newbies in there and most of them don't even return back to look at what answers they've got, forget about rewarding points. If they do return, I keep trying to coax them into doing so :-).
But there's always a trade-off between having the satisfaction of having cracked a tough problem and helping someone out and the disappointment of not getting the points for those answers which you have really spent effort trying to solve.
There's one thing that you might want to do -
1. Since you're a seasoned user here, you will be knowing about the trend of the points. For example, there are some users who always reward points. you can have a Watch for the posts made by them and the chances are you'll get the points you deserve. You'll even strike a rapport with some of them, as I have in the ABAP Forum.
2. There will be certain questions which you simply can't let go, because they are so ineresting. You may have never thought about a particular possibility which someone else is trying to explore. but since you do have the basics very string, you can really set off and come up with a good answer. In such cases, you may not really bother about the points - because the idea might prod you to write a whole weblog on that, which will give you the points anyways. But, such questions are rare to come by - at least from my experience with the ABAP Forum.
3. And lastly there are a few questions (actually there are several in the ABAP Forum) which have been asked several times in the past and answered. The person asking the question is either too lazy to do a search / is very new around here. If you want to, then you can remind that user to first do a search. These questions do not add value to the content on SDN. So ideally, we shouldn't be expecting to get any points for them. If the user remembers to give you the points, then it's okay, otherwise, I don't think it's a good idea to insist the user to give the points (this is of course, my personal opinion).
4. Anyways, thanks to the increasing awareness about SDN among the developer community, there are more and more people who are getting conversant with new stuff. And these users will be able to solve questions which an experienced guy might consider very trivial - the reason, this guy had also learnt that answer very recently and answering the questions reinforces the concept. And he wouldn't mind the points too much :-). Hopefully, there'll always be such users - which will ensure that every question gets answered regardless of whether the user asking the question is the kind who rewards points or not.

This is not web chat. This is the forum, which is an extension of the Adobe Support system, but you need to talk to Adobe Support directly either by chat or by telephone and they can process the deactivation.
There has been a problem lately with the links for getting into the web chat and for the phone support. Try the following link and look down the page for a chat option. If you don't see one, try using a different browser.

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Will EVERYONE have to use the iOS 7 when it comes out?

I recently got the iPhone 5 literally a week ago and I'm in love with it! The iPhone was THE one apple product I have never owned. I've always loved Apple's unique interface, because that's what really set them apart from other phones but a couple days after I bought my iPhone, I saw an article for the iOS 7 update and I wasn't happy. The new interface for the iOS 7 looks a lot like most Android phones, which is just making Apple look like an Android. I've had people tell me in the past that if you don't update to the new iOS updates that come along, then you'll lose contacts and your apps won't open. I don't know how true that is, considering I'm only a week old iPhone owner, but will that really happen? Granted, they may still be making changes to the new iOS 7 but I'm HATING what I am seeing so far and I don't want to update my iPhone to the iOS 7. Will we have the option to update or not when the time comes? If not, I may be forced to go back to my old Droid and I really don't want that to happen

iOS 7 is still in Beta and changing daily. Save judgements for the final release due sometime this fall.

[Forum] Make the community forum load faster!

This isn't about the Spotify player but for the spotify wabpage. It takes forever to move around, it has to load all the time and it takes at least 5 second. You should make it faster so you don't lose intrest in the webpage and the community.

I'm not sure this is easily implementable since it also depends on the forum software (Lithium). But I'll leave the topic open for further feedback by others.

I've registered for the Firefox support forum, but the confirmation email hasn't come (after 3 + hours and 2 extra requests to "resend" it).

Besides the original registration, and 2 additional requests for the confirmation email, plus asking a previous question, which appears to have triggered the sending of yet another confirmation email, I've received none! And I really don't mind waiting an hour for a confirmation email, but 3 hours and counting is not acceptable.
And there appears to be no other way to contact anyone about anything -- except for a feedback form in which you have to explain the problem in one or 2 short sentences.
Yes, I've checked my ISP and my email is working fine. The test message I sent myself arrived in under one second! I've checked my spam folders, and they aren't there either.....not one.

How to deselect the selected row when we come back again?

I have one screen(100),which contains records.User can select any one record and click 'Details' button.Then it will take to screen 110.When I am coming back to screen 110 again.The previously selected row is again in selected mode only.Now if I am selecting another row and click the 'Detail' button.I am getting the error saying that 'Please select one record'.In debugging mode also I checked using the FM get_current_cell but nothing is getting selected surprisingly.
Even I used CALL METHOD grid->refresh_table_display in the PBO of screen 100.

The sample report ZUS_SDN_TWO_ALV_GRIDS_7 shows basically what I meant in my previous answer. There is no row mark available on the first ALV list. Instead of bothering the user to push a button he or she can simply double-click on the ALV lists and sees the details of a customer.
As you can see there is absolutely no need to free any object instances or rebuild grid controls.
Final remark: based on the function module you mention I assume you are still using fm-based ALV lists. Do not use them. OO-based ALV lists are much easier to develop, to maintain and to enhance.

I do a search on the internet and when items come up, I click on them and they won't take me to that site..

When I type something in the search window and hit search, a lot of sites come up. Usually you click on any of them and it goes to that site for your information. Lately when I click on most of them it does nothing. Some of them send me to their site but most of them do nothing. I checked plug-ins as someone suggested, but did not see any problems there. Please send any other suggestions.

The keyboard is not coming up in the App store when it comes time to input my password

When I want to download a new App from the App Store, the keyboard does not come up when I need to input my password.

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

I do a search on the internet and when items come up, I click on them and they won't open.

The top 1 or 2 results might open but many of the others will not open when I click on them. This has just recently happened in this last few weeks. Thanks for the help.

Is there any way to stop my I phone 4 telephone key pad disappearing during a phone call - you know you listen to the options and when you come to press the number the key pad is missing.

Every time I make a call involving chosing options I loose my keypad so I cannot enter the numbers quickly enough...so they keep telling me again what to do -its so frustrating. Have i set somrthing up for a time delay ?

This happens to me as well. The keypad does not stay on until the end of the call, it goes out as soon as you bring your hand to it. Sometimes I can type a key, mostly not. I can never type a 4 during a call. Given the prevelance of phone trees when calling a business this makes the phone as useless as an old rotary pulse phone. I hope this issue gets some attention, or my next phone will not be an iPhone.

I downloaded 3.6. It says must be re-booted, I re-boot and get the same message when it comes back.

I downloaded Firefox 3.6. It said to reboot computer, and clicked yes. It rebooted, and the icon that appears brings up the same box that says "needs to be rebooted"
I tied to uninstall and even get that prompt there as well.

Why won't my bluetooth connection work with the new sofware when it comes to my ITunes?

After I installed the software, my phone will connect to the bluetooth (so the phone and such work and the music) but I can no longer control my music from the radio and see the song that is up (scroll on screen). I have checked all the settings, but they are good. So it has to be the software.

There is an alternative downloader for 64-bit editions of Windows here:

that seems to address the most of the playback issues - including problems with Bluetooth devices - that some users have been reporting with the full 64-bit version (the alternative installer here is the same architecture as most previous "64-bit" versions of iTunes, i.e., a 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer). The "for older video cards" label appears to be something of a misnomer as some people have reported that this corrects problems found on current / high-spec systems.
Some users have reported that after installing this alternative version it is necessary to adjust the "Play audio using" selection (normally to "Direct Sound" rather than "Windows Audio Session", though this may vary based on your audio hardware/drivers) in Edit > Preferences > Playback to restore glitch-free audio (one part of the reported symptoms is that the "Direct Sound" choice isn't available, usually in Windows 8).
Another possible remedy relates to a potential clash between the 64-bit version of iTunes 12 and Google Chrome; some users have reported that uninstalling Chrome (not just not having it running) resolves the iTunes playback issues without having to install the alternative version referred to above.
