EP60 SR1 + KM problems - Content management not working

I have the above system installed and content management isn't working. It is installed on Windows 2003. The portal was installed and seems to me to be OK (SAP have another view - more later). Into this we installed KM. This doesn't work. When I carried out the post install checks "checking the KM Content iView" (page 48 of the install guide) I got the following error:
com.sapportals.wcm.repository.InvalidUriException: Invalid RID: No repository manager found: /documents

com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceException.fillInStackTrace(ResourceException.java:400)
at java.lang.Throwable.(Throwable.java:195)
at java.lang.Exception.(Exception.java:41)
There are several more pages of "at com.sap....." messages but I suspect the clue is the "No repository manager" message. I logged an OSS message who reported that there were .ERR files in the deployment directories and that in the KM repositories there should be 19 repositories but "I could find very few". I was later told he could find only 3 repositories, but I still wasn't told which ones. I reprocessed the .ERR files succesfully. This had no effect. I then reprocessed all the par and ept files that you are asked to check in the post install processing (Page 49-50 of the install guide):

com.sap.netweaver.*
com.sap.workflow.*
After this when I try to access "Content Admin -> KM Content" or "System Admin -> monitoring -> KM -> Component monitor" I get the following message
Item not found
The item you are trying to access is not available.
Check that the name or link is correct. You might also check whether
the associated repository is currently accessible.
I don't have the portal in front of me at the moment, but I think that in the system admin message the "/" was replaced by "/runtime".
I mentioned earlier that SAP stated in their OSS message that the portal was installed incorrectly so we should reinstall. I am not convinced that this is the case. I feel this is fixable.
My next move will be to reprocess every .par and ept file I can find. Any help will be gratefully received.

When I returned the decision had been made to reinstall the portal, so I didn't get chance to check out your answer. I have now reinstalled everything and this problem no longer exists.

I have tried all of the above.
I think it is a registry issue, need to "regedit" the registry.
Any advice on that?
Both DWer8 and EMgr1.7 have been installed and reinstalled 2 times.

Password Manager not working with any internet browsers

I have Thinkvantage password manager installed (v. 3.20.0311.00) on my Thinkpad X201. I am running Windows 7 professional, 64 bit. Password Manager works for all programs except IE8 or Mozilla Firefox (eg. works for Outlook, works for iTunes, etc.). When browsing, the program simply never pops up. It worked previously, and I still have many saved website login details, but it never logs in for me any more and new sites do not activate the program.
I have made sure that the add-on is enabled and I have checked the box next to "enable 3rd party browser extensions" in the advanced tab of internet options. I have also tried resetting internet explorer settings. As mentioned above, this in not only a problem with IE8; it also occurs with Firefox.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Same problem here. I just recieved mine (Win 7 pro 64 bit, X201 Multitouch) last week and password manager not working at all in ANY web browser. It recorded my .net password just fine, but i can't get it to work in IE8. Who pays this kind of money for something that doesnt work?

W7 64 BIT Password Manager not working

Using CSS 8.3. Can use fingerprint to log into W7. But the Password Manager feature will no longer work.

I'm also dual booting with Vista 32 bit. In Vista it works fine. Could the problem be one BIOS chip since its hardware connected (I think) but 2 OS'?

Can you confirm the version of Firefox you're using? The information in this post suggests you're using Firefox 19. The latest version is 35.0.1.

Please check whether the web site allows anonymous access to its content. If not, we need to configure a rule for the URL which allows us to enter the credential to access the content of site

Add-on developers need to keep up with new versions of Firefox as they are released and update their product. Have you checked with IDM to see if they have an update for you to install? Or ask them when they are going to have an update ready for 5.0.

This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. Depending on how many user helpers are on-line, it may take several hours, or longer, to get a response.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Placing components without layout manager not working

Hey there, I am working on a java game version of pong which I have begun to try and do using Java Swing. The problem I am currently having is reposition the components in the main window part of the game which is were the user can start a new game or close the program. I having tried using the absolute positioning by setting the layout manager to null but then everything goes blank. I can't figure out why this is not working. Here is the code so far...

AU Manager not working!!!

Hi all. First post and all, wondering if you guys can help me out....
A few problems. I recently upgraded to Leopard, I was running Logic 8 on Tiger ab fab.
Anyway, now it seems that after having upgraded to Leopard, my troubles are too many.
Firstly: Logic has no plugins. not even the bog standard logic compressor, channel eq, let alone my 3rd party au's. I dont know what the **** to do.
Secondly: the AU manager does not work in Logic. at all. I try running it and it does absolutely nada. it seems that now just opening mainstage, IT scans for au's, however, logic doesn't. what is the reason for this bizarre behaviour?!
anyone.....? anything.....? i am trying to avoid the reinstall of OS and all that as i have just spent the last 2 days getting my system the way i want it (bar logic of course).

Well, first of all, that is not the default setting.
2. What do you mean by froze? How long have you waited before force-quitting?
Have you tried to delete prefs?
3. "Startupdisk"/Library/Caches/com.apple.Components2.LocalCache.AudioComponents
4. "Startupdisk"/Users/"You"/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs and
"Startupdisk"/Users/"You"/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.plist
5. Have you tried reinstalling Logic? Just the app, not the content.
6. Your AU's should be here:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components or in "Startupdisk"/Users/"You"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
7. At your *own risk*, try deleting these:
"Startupdisk"/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.SystemSettings.plist
"Startupdisk"/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings.plist
