EPM 11.1.1: Cyrillic aliases issue in planning

Hi all, I'm using EPM 11.1.1 and trying to load dimensions via csv file to planning application. But when I load cyrillic alisases I don't see them in application.
When I replace cyrillic alises with latin everything is ok. So the problem is in cyrillic.
csv file is like:
!Section=Dimensions
'Name     DimensionClass     DimensionAlias     CustomDimensionID
PeriodSt     Period     Period
!Hierarchies=PeriodSt
'Parent     Child
#root     BegBalance
#root     Total year
Total year     Q1
Q1     Jan
Q1     Feb
Q1     Mar
!PropertyArray=PeriodSt
'Property     Name     Key     Value
Alias     Q1     RUS     SSSS
Alias     Jan     RUS     Январь*
Alias     Feb     RUS     Февраль*
Alias     Mar     RUS     Март*
How can I load cyrillic aliases into planning application?
Thanks in advance

Hi John, glad to here you.
But where I should specify "Unicode" support?
When I create planning application in architect I don't see Unicode checkbox anywhere?
I only see it when create datasource for planning application.
So, I tried to create datasource with Unicode support and deploy this planning application using this unicode datasource. But in the end I again can't load cyrillic aliases.
And if I want to load cyrillic aliases into not deploeyd application how can I do this?
What I do wrong? help me please!

  • Issue regarding Planning layout is not getting rendered and is dumping at : CL_RSDRC_TREX_QUERY_LAYER ~ _GET_PARTPROVS_WITH_TREX_PART in SAP TPM IP

    Gurus,
I am facing an issue regarding SAP TPM IP ( HANA)
    I have 3 Infoproviders
Planning infocube, Planning DSO1, Planning DSO2 and i created multiprovider and added these 3 infoproviders into it. I have created Aggregation level on multiprovider. Created Bex Input ready query on Aggregation level.
Issue is  Planning layout is not getting rendered and is dumping at : CL_RSDRC_TREX_QUERY_LAYER ~ _GET_PARTPROVS_WITH_TREX_PART.
I tried debugging it and found it is trying to read   i_r_pro -> n_ts_part. It is populated with only 3 values (i.e. 2DSOs and 1 Cube), whereas <l_partprov>-partprov is referring to Aggergation level, hence read statement isn't successful, it is dumping.
The class CL_RSD_INFOPROV_CACHE->GET() method is trying to populate the N_TS_PART.N_TS_PART uses P_R_INFOPROV table which seems to be already populated.  So, I debugged all the below methods to find out how the P_R_INFOPROV but couldn't find any clue.
Can any one help,it would be really help.
    Thanks
    Ashok

    Hello Gregor,
On the launch of planning layout it throws an error message:
    Planning is not possible RSCRM_IMP_CORE008.
When I debugged, i got to a point wherein
particular Real Time Planning DSO is
not getting retrieved under the MultiProivder in below class.
Class: CL_RSCRM_IMP_ACTIONS_SERVICE, Method: GET_INFOPROV is not
returning the real time Info-Provider Name(i.e. Planning DSO)
    underlyingthe Multiprovider.
I've also tried to run the report mentioned by you for the Multiprovider but issue still exists.
Let me know, if you have any pointers on this topic.
    Thanks,
    Jomy

  • Locking Issue in Planning DSO in SAP BW 7.3(Integrated Planning)

    Hi Experts,
We have built Aggregation Level on Direct Update (planning enabled) DSO and used the same in the input ready queries.( Its complete Manual planning - new row addition feature in WAD).
We have 5 characteristic and one key figure for planning.
We are facing lock issue while planning the data i.e. when one user is planning, other user cannot plan.
The lock relevant characteristic is Column A and the same has been added to the Lock Characteristic tab(RSPLSE) of the infoprovider. The input ready query is also restricted with a variable on Column A (manual input single variable- mandatory).
While the user opens the Planning Layout and plans the data, we can see lock entry in RSPLSE(locks tab) for the Column A selection in the infoprovider, yet if another user is trying to plan for data for some other selection of Column A, a lock entry in RSPLSE is shown with the selection but it errors in thelayout with lock on the infoprovider and cannot plan the data.
Any inputs will be of great help.

    Found the answer.
We had used the Planning Function directly in the WAD layout before saving data without filter.(basically to check some condition).
Created the Planning Sequence with Column A filter on the Aggregation level and used the same sequence before saving the data in WAD
    Issue resolved.

  • Has anyone had issues with Planning security refreshing in Essbase

I am on Planning version 9.3.0.1 and we are having issues with planning users being able to use an essbase connection to pull data from smartview. They are able to see data in web forms in planning but they get #no access when they try to connect to the same data in smartview.
Has anyone else experieced this issue.

If user works when you provision individually its because they were set in the environment in EAS.
group has to have all the access needed (bug in orig). css file open a ticket for the file name. example user needs calc access you setup calc but bug in system is not also giving user read and write access. Thus you can individually add this to the group in provisioning area in shared services. in EAS goto File open- editors create/run script with
    alter user 'userID' Add application_access_type Planning;
alter user 'userID' add application_access_type Essbase; to add user to the environment if error you need to refresh eas first then run maxl script for planning you also need to go to workspace and select any of your dimensions all your groups ...edit .. migrate identities.. to get group/Users in planning wether adding or removing users. when you do planning changes you need to do database and security filters refresh.

  • Setting Location Aliases in Hyperion Planning

Is there a way to change the names of the location aliases in Hyperion Planning so that when the XREFs are created to move across databases they include the desired alias?
For example, Plan Type 1 is called GLedger. Plan Type 2, Report, references GLedger as "__BsCube__." Is there a way to change that to whatever value I'd like?

There may be an easier way to do this, but here's what I'd try:
    1) Make sure the new location alias has been created.
    2) Export the Planning app to the file system via LCM.
    3) Use a tool like TexRep to do a bulk "Find & Replace" across the various XML fiiles exported using LCM. Replace the old Location Alias Name with the New Location Alias Name.
    4) Reimport the formulas via LCM.
    5) Remove the old and unused Location Alias.
    6) Deploy and make sure your changes stick.
    7) Test
FWIW, TexRep (or a similar tool) is very useful for any bulk changes that need to be applied to LCM export files.
    Hope this helps,

  • Arabic Language aliases issue in Web Analysis reports

    Dears,
I'm using Web Analysis to build reports with aliases in Arabic language. Aliases appear as small squares. Is there any configuration or workarounds should I do to solve this issue?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Make sure that you have the right version of JRE in the system. Please try this steps in one client machine
    1. Uninstall all the version f JREs from a client computer
    2. launch Web Analysis Studio from that client computer
    3. It will prompt you to download & install the compatible JRE from the Web Analysis server into your client computer
    4. Install the JRE
    Hope this helps

  • Configuration of EPM 11.1.2 Shared Services issue during installation

    Hi,
I am running into issue with configuration of Shared Services after installing EPM 11.1.2 on my machine. I am running the installation on Windows 8 and 64 Bit. All of the components that I wanted installed successfully. After that I went into the Configuration for Shared Services, I ran into the issue with the status of Deploy Application to Server not completed successfully (configuring...). I was hoping to configure one thing at a time as suggested in the blogs.... then I'd configure Essbase and not Financial Reporting...in that sequence. Thus, I also do not see any of the services installed under Foundation Services; Shared Services URL, Start EPM nor Start FoundationServices (Oracle Weblogic 10) tmplink.
I've tried to search online but found nothing specific on the issue. Am I missing something? Please help.
    Thanks

Windows 8 has not been officially released yet so don't expect EPM products to support it.
    Cheers

  • Oracle EPM 11.1.1: Business Rules issue

    Hi All,
I have installed Oracle EPM 11.1.1 and I have created a planning application. However when I logon to Analytical Administration console and try to create a business rule I am facing the following issue:
    1. When I try to select Planning Application out I get the following errors:
Error connecting to Essbase server <Server name>/<Application Name>.
Detail:Could not log in to Planning Server
    2. As a work around I have set the Essbase outline and the rule is getting validated from AAS. This rule has been attached to a form and should be executed when I do a submit. However the rule is not running from the form. I tried running the rule from Planning web and again I am getting an error.
I checked the access rights for the Business Rule from shared services and the admin user (which I am using) has Provision and Administrator rights. Is it a configuration issue or is there something that I am missing here.
    Thanks in advance,
    Amol

We had the same issue and got resolved by adding a description to the BR. Hope this will work for you.But the problem is he can't even create a business rule so how can he add a description to something he can't create?

Thanks Sandeep for the prompt response.
    - Installing it on Windows XP.
    - Seems like Shared Services was down, restarted it from the services and is working fine now. When i re-start the configuration process get a "Invalid database schema for the product workspace message", at the "database configuration for the following products" step.
    - If i uncheck workspace in the very first step from the tree, it allows me to move forward, but again errors out at the step where all the products are listed with ports and ssl ports stating error message "Port is already in use".
Is there a way to clean up a directory or multiple of them that would allow me to start the configuration process afresh??
    Again TIA.

  • Font Anti-Aliasing Issues in HTML/Ajax based Air Applications

It seems that the font-renderer in HTML/Ajax based Air Applications is using some kind of sub-pixel font renderer that is overriding and vastly inferior to the standard Windows ClearType, or any Apple based option as well.  This problem is particularly noticable with light text on a dark background, and made worse the smaller the text is.  I've put together an example image explaining exactly what I mean at: http://regator.com/fontRendering.png   (it's a large image 1126 x 1500 px)
My example shows two fonts at four different sizes rendered in an HTML Air App vs the default Windows Cleartype, as well as using Safari to show the Font style anti-aliasing.  In all cases the HTML Air App rendering is far more difficult to read, and in many cases severely distorts the color of the text in a way that other subpixel algorithms do not.  As far as I can find after literally hours of googling and searching there's no way to override this in HTML based applications.  Is there any solution to this, or a planned fix for the renderer?  Other than this rendering issue, the HTML interface for creating Air apps is absolutely brilliant, this is just making my finished product look significantly less polished than it otherwise would if the text were more readable.
    Thanks.

    Dear caturner81, dear Adobe,
is there a solution to this problem? I'd really love to fix the aliasing thing in Air/HTML!

  • Aperture aliasing issue?

    Hi all,
I'm experiencing some aliasing/jaggies artifacts with certain images displayed at less than 50% zoom in Aperture 3. It's very noticeable in split-view and viewer only mode, and is still quite noticeable in full-screen mode. There is no aliasing apparent when the image is zoomed in to 100%. Wasn't 3.1 update supposed to fix this exact issue?
From the update notes: "Rendering of images scaled to below 100% in Viewer"
Here are some screen grabs (focus on the rail):
    *Split view*
    *Viewer only*
    *50% zoom*
    Is anyone else experiencing this?
    Thanks in advance!

Would love to know if there is a fix/workaround for this issue.
    Thanks!

  • Smart Object Anti-Aliasing issues in PS CS5

I am having a heck of a time working with smart objects that contain transparency in CS5. Here is an example of what I'm experiencing:
1,700px smart object scaled down to 156px. No transparency in SO. Good anti-aliasing.
Same smart object, but with a layer mask or transparency in the smart object. But alas: horrible anti-aliasing, throughout the entire image.
I frequently embed my transparency within the SOs I work with, due to the limitations of linking embedded SOs with layer masks etc. I experienced no problems in CS3. I'm thinking this is a bug? Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!
UPDATE: after performing many tests, and noticing that having transparency in a smart object does not necessarily lead to poor anti-aliasing in the parent image, I have narrowed-down the issue. The issue will occur only if at least an antire column or row of pixels (of any height/width) along the border of the image are transparent. It does not matter if the transparency is at the top, bottom, sides, or surrounding the image, but it must take up some amount of an entire side. This is looking more and more like a bug... Is anyone able to replicate the issue? (Adobe engineers?) Thanks.

Here is the file I'm seeing this in. Incidentally, if I drag the problematic smart object to another open image, the appearance is the same (Photoshop is, after all, the epitome of wysiwyg software). But this works both ways: I can also re-create the smart object in another document without the poor anti-aliasing, then drag it into the original image and it will still look fine. (in this file there are two side-by-side, so that you can compare the two. you can also play with the smart object on the left to see the anti-aliasing go from good to bad; just go into the SO and delete a row or column of pixels from the border and re-save).
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8162462/SO-aa-issue%3F.tif
(i used Dropbox; lmk if there's a better way to post a file in this forum)
Since I just started using CS5 (from CS3), I have suspicions that it may be a version translation issue (either in the TIFF or smart object). Either way, I'm glad that this is not a common or easily-reproduced issue. Let me know if you learn anything from the file
    Thanks,
    Cory

  • Aliasing issues in ACR 6.4 output, jagged edges

In images with high frequency detail, aliasing occurs that is most visible in diagonal directions. These jagged edges are noticable in the output, and obviously get worse in enlargements which is also the main reason I post this.
To date, I've found 2 workarounds:
process in ACR, duplicate layer in Photoshop, apply gaussian blur around 0,5px, and manually paint on the offending jagged edges
    use another raw converter
For demonstration purposes, I've taken an old and unspectacular D3X NEF from imaging-resource.com. It's a picture of a house and some trees etc. I've used:
Camera Raw 6.4 with default settings (first row): aliased edges
Capture One Pro 6.2 with default settings (middle row): anti-aliased edges but introduction of false (green) colour
Raw Developer 1.9.1 with default settings (bottom row): anti-aliased edges free from artifacts
Some (100%)  area's where the aliasing shows:
At first I thought the difference was due to the sharpening in these 3 convertors. Forgive me if I omit showing a comparison and just assert that turning of sharpening and replacing it with Photoshop remove lens blur, didn't help. It just showed the defects apparantly already present in the (ACR and C1 processed) file.
The result however from a properly sharpened, denoised, and upsampled TIFF that originates from Raw Developer is impressive. However, given the fact that Raw Developer is Apple OSX only, and I do post-processing on Windows, it introduces a bit of an unpracticality.
Is there any possibility to eliminate this unpleasant aliasing in ACR, so I can keep a high quality Adobe-only workflow?

The "blocky" details are easily reproduced in that image.  Looks like something that needs to be tuned up to me.
Note that you have the option of choosing the 2003 process in Camera Raw, which appears to avoid that issue.
I just want to add one thing:  There's no upsampled resolution available for this particular camera.  6048 x 4032 is the largest size available.  I for one prefer to convert my raw files directly to upsampled resolutions on the theory that it might improve this kind of thing (and it does seem to deliever more accurate detail with my now out-of-date Canon cameras).  At some point in the past I requested that Camera Raw make several upsampled resolutions available beyond the "native" camera size for any/all cameras.  I hereby renew that request.
