EPPM 8.3 SP1 Visualizer

Hello, I tried out SP1 and I am having an issue with Visualizer.
With any sample project I select Classic Schedule Layout and select the option to display the gantt and grid.
The grid appears, however scrolling does not display the gantt. What I see scroll is the header project title while the grid remains stationary.
Wondering if there is a workaround or is this an issue with SP1 Visualizer.

JRockit JDK is supported with P6 EPPM 8.3 SP1 and any latest hotfix. The tested configuration for SP1 and above is an indication that additional certification of latest JDK has been done. It does not necessarily mean you need to upgrade to it although recommended. Review the SP1 patch readme for more information.

  • 8.3 SP1 tested configuration JDK for WebLogic Server (App Server)

The base 8.3 had JRockit JDK as well as Sun JDK as a tested configuration.
Later 8.3 SP1 only has Sun JDK as a tested configuration.
Can anyone comment on this. If I decide to deploy 8.3 SP1 with the latest hotfix available should I just use the tested Sun JDK for the app server?

  • P6 EPPM V8.2.2.8 window popup windows not showing.

I've installed Primavera V8.2.2.8 EPPM on 64bit Windows 2008 R2 sp1 server with weblogic 10.3.5 using a 64 bit JDK (1.6.0_27). The database is 11g on another rhel5 server and has sample data loaded. Initially the install worked great for a bit. I was able to move around to different windows all worked fine. But soon after anything with a popup window (projects, users access, ) will not load and either shows an error like "Fail to load data..Please..." or just shows loading data then stops. In the application settings window changes to the screen does not allow the save button to appear (another pop is displayed before that happens). There are no errors in any logs, no connection errors, no information what so ever. I am using IE 9 and the block pop windows is unchecked.
The same thing happen on a rhel5 install with weblogic 10.3.6. Oddly, there is another install where I work that functions just fine (via my desktop's browsers) but is on some very old equipment like windows 2003 and oracle 10g.
Obviously, this is about Primavera P6 EPPM v8.2.2.8 web application; the professional desktop client works fine with the same database.
Also, I did the same install on a rhel5 box with weblogic 10.3.6 and a 1.6_45 jdk. The same "problem" develops.
Upgrading to V8.3 is not an option. I may be able to move to JDK 1.7, but i sure would like to get JDK 1.6 to work.
Thanks your help and let me know if there is any other info that could help.

    JRE1.6_027...
I am pretty sure it is not a browser issue since I can get see all web functionality with the same IE browser connecting to an existing install that is running on rhel5.1/weblogic 10.3.5/jdk1.6._27.
    I have some more info:
         * no ssl
         * pc with browser in windows 7
         * the windows server is on virutal boxes (wmware)
         * the databases are on virtual boxes (vmware, rhel6)
         * also, the following url never comes back: http://someserver.somedomain:7003/p6/action/pm/openprojectpicklist
Can someone tell me what SQL is used to run struts action/pm/openprojectpicklist? I am starting to think this is some bizarre database issue or state. Today, I built a new 11g database on a windows server box (virtual) and installed a Primavera eppm p6 8.2.2.8 database in it with no sample data. It worked nicely (today, that is). Like I said it seems to work at first then after a while...breaks.

  • Itunes Visualizer will only display fullscreen, other options grayed out

I am using the newest version of itunes on Vista SP1.
The visualizer worked perfectly at first, in the song list window size. I wanted to try it fullscreen so i went through the menu and chose show full screen, and it worked.
But i would prefer to have the visualizer in a non fullscreen mode. When i go to pick one of those modes through the menu, the options are grayed out, and if i use the ctrl+0,1,2, or 3 while the visualizer is going it just exits fullscreen mode and closes the visualizer all together, leaving me looking at my playlist.
    Any ideas or key sequences?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing changes.
    Thanks in advance!

I have gmail and hotmail account on my macbook.
In gmail I can visualize all the mailboxes but in hotmail i only can see the inbox ¿how can I visualize the rest of the mailboxes?
I have the same problem with my ipad; the solution would be the same?
    thanks

    Hello Sophie59
You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. • Exchange 2013 SP1 displaying users that no longer exist

I'm currently in the process of migrating my Exchange 2010 SP3 environment over to 2013 SP1 and am hoping someone can give me a hand with an issue I'm having in Exchange 2013.  After installation of 2013 with no errors returned, when I log in to the
admin console I'm seeing users that have been deleted from my AD for quite some time with a mailbox type of "Legacy".  I've searched high and low to find these accounts and cannot find them anywhere.  I've searched through ADSI Edit and
LDP and nothing.  If I click on any of these users and choose to edit I get this error message:
The operation couldn't be performed because object 'GUID' couldn't be found on 'domain controller'.
The odd thing to me is that these "Legacy" users are nowhere to be found on my Exchange 2010 server.
Anyone have any other ideas of how and where I may be able to find these users?

Below powershell script can help you find out the lingering objects in your AD.

  • Uppgrading Exchange 2007 from sp1 to sp3 on small business server 2008 sp1

    Hello everyone
I know this topic has been discused many time in this froum. but i have to ask it again in my exact situation.
I have a realy unstable and unsafe server which i am planing to migrate all the apps and services to some virtual servers soon.
first migrating is Exchange. i have Exchange 2007 sp1 on my server sbs 2008. i have my DC,AD, dns, DHCP, File, etc on the same server as well . So that is way it is scary for me (as i am not really experienced) to even upgrade one service pack.
Now, i want to know if anyone did it before. What should i expect during upgrading or after that? so i can be ready for that?
which kind of backup can save me if somethings happens to my Exchange? is there any way to install the new Exchange 2007 and sp3 rollup 10 and then migrate all databases and mailboxes to that new server? if yes, how to do that?
    Thanks
    Nima

    Hi Nima,
Ok, I know your concern. Please make sure you have read the above KB I provided before installing SP3 for Exchange 2007. What's more, you need to make sure you right mouse click and run as admin to install it.
Moreover, here is a thread about migrating Exchange 2007 SP3 to Exchange 2013 for your reference.
Migrate SBS 2008 R2 running Exchange 2007 to Windows Server 2012 Exchange 2013

    Resolved ! :)
Root Cause: The user account I was using had all the required privileges for Exchange Installation but was not having access to edit the registry of the server. Enable access to registry edit tools and you are good to go.
As an alternate you can also try installing using Domain Administrator account if in case there is an IT Policy constraint in the former method.
    Thanks to all.

  • Unable to uninstall sql server 2012 from Windows 7(ultimate) 64-bit SP1 version.

I am trying to install sql sever 2012 on my m/c but it's giving me error after partial installation.
Now I have successfully installed Sql Server 2008 R2 on my machine but when I am trying to uninstall 2012 sql server from my machine its giving an error regarding unsupported OS. However as mentioned earlier I have Windows 2007 Ultimate SP1 (64-bit) installed
on my machine which is included in valid platform for sql server 2012. Also I installed visual studio 2013 on my machine but it existed with error SqlServer\LocalDB not installed.

    Hi pritamk,
According to your error message, as other post, you can uninstall SQL Server from command line, inaddition, another workaround is that change the compatibility mode of setup.exe to Vista SP2, then run “Remove” option from the control panel. You can refer
    to the following steps.
Browse to your SQL setup bootstrap folder, For SQL Server 2012, this is the path "C:\Program Files \Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2012\".
Go to Setup.exe file and right click on Setup.exe. Then go to properties and click on "Compatibility" tab. Under "Compatibility mode", click on Run this program in compatibility mode for "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)". Then Click on "Apply" then "OK".

Please help As i am running out of time as i have to upgrade TFS for that first step is to install SQL server.

    Hello,
The following are a few things you can try:
Copy the media to the local disk drive, unzip it (in case you are installing from an ISO file, and run SQL Server setup from there.
Try to unregister and register the Windows Installer with the following two commands:
    msiexec /unregister
    msiexec /regserver
Try to use Process Monitor to log the detailed error produced when the installation of dw20sharedamd64.msi fails. You can download Process Monitor from the following link:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645
Share with us the error captured by Process Monitor.
    Hope this helps.

  • Unable to get SQL Server Agent to run after installing SQL 2012 Standard with SP1

I am unable to get SQL Server Agent to run after installing SQL 2012 Standard with SP1. Log message is as follows:
Attempting to load library 'xplog70.dll' into memory. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.
Failed to verify Authenticode signature on DLL 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Binn\xplog70.dll'.
    Error: 17750, Severity: 16, State: 0.
Could not load the DLL xplog70.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: (null).

    Hi JFriedley,
According to your error message, there might three reasons for this issue.
xplog70.dll is corrupt, you need to check if you have any SQL Server running on same file version and same production
edition. If xplog70.dll is corrupt, you can copy it from the new server where agent is running fine to your problematic server.
Native client not installed properly. If you try applying any latest Service Pack or Cumulative Update then check if the SQL Server Agent can start, if that also doesn’t solve issue then try to reinstalling SQL Server Native client from SQL Server setup
    files.
There is a similar issue about error 17750, you can review the following article.

  • Send Issues with Outlook for Mac (2011 / V15) and Exchange 2013 SP1

    Hi all,
we have a strange issue with only with Outlook for Mac Users (version 2011 and the newest Outlook Version (V15) from Office 365) connected to our Exchange Server 2013 SP1. Some emails which we send out to the exactly same recipient are not sent through our
    Exchange Server.
We have sent 8 emails with subject "test1, test2, test3...". Only test 3-6 was arriving to the recipient. The other emails are in the "sent" folder but it was not sent out through the Exchange.
What we can see with "Get-MessageTrackingLog" is, that the Recipients and MessageSubject are empty for these emails:
    Timestamp Sender Recipients MessageSubject
    25.02.2015 16:48:52 [email protected].. {}
    25.02.2015 17:04:43 [email protected].. {}
    25.02.2015 17:08:25 [email protected].. {[email protected]} test 3
    25.02.2015 17:08:56 [email protected].. {[email protected]} test 4

    25.02.2015 17:13:45 [email protected].. {}
    25.02.2015 17:13:55 [email protected].. {}
We can still reproduce the issue on different Mac computers.
Thanks for any help in advance!
    Thanks and best regards
