EPrint always prints in reverse order

Hi,
If I email somthing to my printer it always prints in reverse order, it's very annoying. Is this somthing I can change?
It's a Photosmart Premium Fax C410b
Thanks
Paul

It has been 6 months since the last reply.  Any progress on this issue?  It would seemingly be simple to add a new option to the same ePrint options screen (which lets you choose color or b&w, for example) to choose between printing the last page first (the current selection) and printing the first page first (what most users would want, especially for very long documents).
If there is a planned date to release this feature, the ability to print first page first, please post the expected date in a reply to this post.

  • Printing config sm to be set to print in reverse order. How to fix?

OSX 10.6.3 and MS Word 12.23. When I go to print-to-disk a Word document (i.e. turn it into a PDF using Preview as the default display tool) I get a PDF whose pages are in reverse order. Fine for hard copy output, useless for PDF. Every Print pref or config setting I look for offers no help and, of course, as is completely normal, the Help menu offers nothing either.
I have found an easy fix for a small document — do a "preview" of the document in the Print dialog then drag the pages manually to where they should be. But not every document I work with is small.
    Suggestions please.

Oh John, thanks for trying to help. However, I'm not trying to print to any printer. I'm trying to "print-to-disk" i.e. save as a PDF to the desktop so I can later send it as an email attachment.
And by the way, I forgot to mention for you and other kind folk in here — the Word print dialog box does contain a setting Copies & Pages/Page Handling/Page Order with the options "automatic, normal, reverse" but it makes no difference what I select, I still end up with "reverse".

  • PDF files print in reverse order per page

Hi - I am trying to figure out if this is an adobe issue or a printing issue.  It is happening only on this user who is on Adobe 9.1 -everyone else is on 7.0 and they aren't having this issue.  So maybe it  is  a combo.
When the user prints a PDF which was a powerpoint file (she did not creat it was sent via email) she selects 2 per page and hten selects doublesided - landscape and collates staples top left hand side.
File prints doublesided and collates, but what would be slide one would be on the bottom of the page and what would be slide 2 would show at the top.  On the back of the 1st page  slide 3 is at the the bottom and slide 4 is at the top.  Staples at the bottom right.
Printer settings seem ok......there is a selection for order and top to bottom is selected.  Reverse order is NOT selected.
Are there any settings in Adobe that would cause this?  I have googled and though there are some similar questions no one has answered.
    specs:
    Windows XP Professional SP3
    Adobe 9.1 (latest updates)
    Canon IR C5185 (multifunction color)
    thanks in advance. Robin

    Hey,
Please let me know what is your Reader version.
Open Reader and go to Edit->Preferences->Accessibility and deselect 'Replace Document Colors' option.
If this does not help, then try repairing Adobe Reader and then check.
    Let me know.

  • Canon 2100 Series printing in reverse order

I have a Canon 2100 series -- an MG 2120.  When I print things out, they come out in the tray in reverse order -- a six page document will thus have p. 6 on top when I take the stack out.  I cannot find a setting on my computer to make things print out in reverse order, so that page one will be on top and I won't have to manually put multipage documents in order.  Help?

    Hi oldwest,
To change the order in which pages are printed, please follow the steps located at the link below:

  • Office Jet 4580 prints in reverse order, setting changes won't hold

I have a HP Office Jet 4580 and it keeps printing the last page first and works backwards.  I only do one sided pages for printing, no double sided pages.
I have changed the settings as follows:
    Printing Preferences
Document Options-Advanced printing features- Enabled changed to Disabled
Layout Options-Page order-Back to front changed to Front to back
I click on "Apply" and/or "OK" for each change.
I have tried the above in every combination possible (i.e. changed to Disabled, but leave Back to front, change to Front to back and leave it Enabled, etc.).  Not only does this not change anything, but all settings revert back all by themselves.  Once, I saw the Disabled change back to Enabled on its own as I clicked on the "OK" button.  Sometimes the "Apply" button is greyed out as well.  I make the changes from the Devices and Printers window.  I then do the same to double check from a website window by going to File-Print-Preferences to make sure, but it changes back all by itself.
How do I make the changes permanent?  I still cannot print page one first on multi-page print requests.  The only time I was able to disable the Advanced printing features, it did not print at all.  What is wrong with this software??

Hello @Brenda-gee , and welcome to the HP Forums!

I am linking a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find your product number. Also, please include which operating system you are using. Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit. With this information and the product number we can provide you with accurate information.

Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Also, what program are you printing from?  Have you printed from multiple programs?  Does this occur when printing regular documents?
Please let me know what you find.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Printing in reverse

My mother has an iMac running 10.3.9 and an HP 940C printer. When she tries to print, the pages always print in reverse order. I know how to change the setting so it prints in the correct order for the job, but how do I change it so the Standard preset will no longer print in reverse order? The print in reverse checkbox is checked by default.
She's a beginner with computers and I need to make it as simple as possible for her. I don't want her to have to uncheck the checkbox each time she wants to print or have to select a different preset if possible.

I'm assuming this question is still open...
On Paper Handling, un-click the reverse printing option, then from the Preset drop down menu, just hit "Save". If it balks at saving, give your option a name, such as Forward Print, or something...

  • Eprint reverse order for officejet

    Hi,
Eprint always prints documents in reverse order. The eprint function is a very good feature, but getting the prints in the wrong order kind of defeats the hole idea. Why is eprint a desireable function? Because you won't have to wait for prints to finish when you arrive at your office. Well if I print a 150 page document and it comes out of the printer with the first page at the bottom of the stack and the last page on top of the stack, what use is this?
I will have to sort the entire document manually. This has the feeling of a a bad joke. Come on HP engineers and programmers, can it really be that hard to fix this issue. I guess someone forgot that inkbased printers normally prints in reverse order, contrary to laserprinters.
Other than that my new Officejet 8600 Plus works like a charm.

    Hi
Reverse printing order in eprint can be solved the following way. Unfortunately this solution won't work for everyone only for Iphone and Ipad users and possibly other smartphones and pads.
Go to App store in your Iphone and download HP eprint for home and biz. Once the app is installed you can open email attachments on the Iphone with the HP eprint app, and control printer settings from there. I've only tried it with duplex printing so far, but it works great.

  • Reverse order printing on CM1017 for Quickbooks

I have a HP CM1017 laser printer I am using with Windows 7 (Pro) and Quickbooks.  My checks print in reverse order.  That is to say in the register items listed as Item 1 and Item 2 when Printed are printed as check number 2 and then 1.  Unfortunately Quickbooks records them in order entered by check number. So Item 1 is printed on check 2 and item 2 is printed on check 1.
Quickbooks help states many printers you can change the print order on from last to first and from first to last. I have looked to see if I can reverse the order in which they Print but can't seem to find it in Print Preferences and all I can find is back to front or front to back which doesn't seem to make any difference.  Can any one dial me in or tell me even if this possible?
Of course reordering the checks is always an option but I was hoping to get around this.

Hi, check the 2410  Printing Preferences > Advanced > Layout Options.

where should the page number n-1-i be returned ?
Which method implementation of Pageable interface should return the page number ?w.r.t. your first question: don't return that number but return page n-1-i when page i is requested; your document will be printed in reverse order. Your class should implement the entire interface and wrap the original Pageable. (for that number n your class can consult the wrapped interface; read the API for the Pageable interface).

  • IPhoto slideshow shown in reverse order

I've looked at this problem on Apple Support and many other areas but I cannot show a slideshow in the order that the photos are in the library.
I'm using Macericks and iPhoto 9.5.1.
No matter which photos I select they are always shown in reverse order when I click 'Slideshow" at the bottom of iPhoto or when I create a new slideshow.
I've tried all the suggetsions, repairing phtot library etc, but still no luck.
    Any help would be appreciated.

When you are playing your slideshow, click the screen to bring up the vido controls, like this:
Click the "gears"-icon to reveal the settings.
In the "Settings"  tab disable "Shuffle Slide order" and enable "Use settings as default".
Then play again. Does that bring the correct direction back?
