Eprint job prints three-up on single page

I've been setting up a new Officejet Pro 8600 Plus with my iMac (OS X 10.8.2). The attachment was a single page pdf. It printed on one page but it printed three copies of the pdf image on the top of the page. How can I prevent this from happening?
I also want to know how to set up the printer so that it does eprinting as duplex copying by default.

Hi Mackim2,
I see that you're wanted to setup duplex printing.  I would suggest using the ePrint mobile driver.  With the ePrint Mobile Driver, you can add "Hp ePrint" as a device on your computer and eliminate the steps of composing and sending an email.  The mobile driver allows you to select Duplex printing.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Firefox prints pieces of a single page on multiple pages

Firefox prints pieces of a single page on multiple pages. For example, if a page is only one page long in IE, it will print one page. But if I print the same page in FF, it will print 5 pages, and each page would have a different section of the original web page. Same thing is valid for web images. I have tried upgrading to the latest version of FF 3.6.12, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my print driver (Brother MFC-7420), and have tried rebooting my PC, and have tried changing the print settings from within the Printer's menu and the Firefox print settings.

Check the paper size that is selected in your printer's preferences when viewing those prefs through Firefox. Or maybe the left & right page margins are set unusually wide for that printer within Firefox.

  • Is it possible to print a spread as single pages?

The file was created in InDesign CS5 and has to be saved as a .pdf. I want to view all of the spreads in the .pdf, but actually print them as single pages.

If the pages are exported to PDF as spreads, that's how they are going to print. You can export as single pages and set the initial view in Acrobat Pro so the file opens as spreads, with a single cover page if needed, but it won't look exactly the same as a true spread and it won't stop a user from changing the view.
Personally, I hate PDFs exported as spreads because they're really hard to navigate (same for two-column text meant to be read on screen).

  • Printing JEditorPane  on a single page

How do I print the all the content of a JEditorPane on one page? I've used a ["Document Renderer"|http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=5935] but have trouble with it printing a second page even after the image is scaled for height. I've written the code to scale for height. I am at a loss.

    Hi ,
The number of rows will be fixed on the page.It provides some total on the report(so number of rows wil remain same).
If i can keep my RTF as a single page, wud it ensure print out will be just a single page.
    Thanks!

  • EPrint job printed fine but cannot remove it from my print que

I used my computer @ work to print a document to eprint. It printed just fine, but I cannot remove the print job in the que in my laptop (not the computer I used @ work). Because I cannot remove it, I cannot print anything. Help

    Hi Msdelta,
I have a couple of questions for you.  When you sent the document to the printer did you use the ePrint email address?  When you refer to que are you logging into your ePrint account and checking your ePrint history?  Are you speaking of your print que on your computer?

  • Printing multiple images on single page

Can anyone explain how to print multiple images on the same page such as 4-4x6 photos? Or the same image more than once on a page - similar to the N-up option in iPhoto? Anything new and helpfull for printing in 1.5? Thanks.

No, it isn't what we're looking for.
Let's take the example of a professional portrait photographer (me? ) trying to set up a home-lab with a wide format, roll printer.
    I get an order for, say, 2 4x5 of image 1, 2 4x5 of image 2, 4 5x7 of image 3. I have 10" paper loaded in my roll.
What I would want to do is gang the prints onto 3 "units" - the 4 4x5 on one 8"x10" unit, and 2 5x7 on each 7"x10" unit.
Since my clients ordered specific sizes, I need to make sure I get the prints sized exactly right (contact sheet tool doesn't let me do this) and since printing is pricey, I want to make sure to waste as little paper/ink as possible. I also don't want to get stuck doing a lot of trimming.
So, in lightroom, photoshop, imagebuddy, portraits-n-prints etc, I would just ask the app to output the package for me. In Aperture, I'm stuck. I can't use the book tool because it uses a (moronically) fixed page-size. I can't use the contact sheet tool because it doesn't let me specify image size/aspect ratio. I can't use the "standard" print tool because it only prints one image per page.
This is a glaring omission, and a slap in the face to the professionals that Aperture claims to see as its target audience.

  • Preview in Yosemite has lost option to print multiple images on a single page?

I used to be able to select all thumbnails from sidebar in Preview, then print them on a single page - the options went from 2 up to 16 images per page I think.  This seems no longer an option.  Am I missing something?

I found it - expand the 'details' option in the 'print' window, then click on the drop down field which defaults to 'preview' (below the page orientation options) and select 'layout'.  At that point you can select to print more than one image per page.  Ok, then.

  • How can I sort multiple tables on a single page as if they were one continuous table?

I have a single narrow column of numbers that cover multiple pages. I would like to do either of the following: break that long single column into multiple colums that fit on one page and are still able to be sorted in that arrangement OR sort the long column as it is (spread out over multiple pages) and then break that long sorted column down into multiple segments that can be placed onto a single page.
I have been sorting the long single column, then copy and pasting sections from the column onto a new page so that I can print them on a single page.
I am hoping there is a more elegant method to do this.

    Hi Walt,
Sorting is one of the things that changed between Numbers '09 and Numbers 3. If you are on Mountain Lion I want to assume you are using '09. Is that true?
This will work in '09 and 3. Table one is a single column with entries 1-89.
    A2 ==INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW())
    B2 =INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW()+35)
    C2 =INDEX(Table 1 :: $A,ROW()+70)
    The formulas are filled down.
You can adjust the formulas in B and C to reflect how many rows fit on your page.

  • OfficeJet 8500A. Single print job prints half on two pages.

I have an OfficeJet 8500A Premium for about a year now. All was working well, until recently.
    I'm using Firmware Version: LRP1FN1126AR
Now, when I send a print job that's supposed to be on a single page, it prints half on two pages. This, of course, wastes my ink, paper, time, energy, and sanity. I've searched around and can't find a resolution to this problem.
I posted a picture of the problem I'm experiencing, personal info areas blurred out. The only way to fix this, which is a temporary fix, is to turn the printer on and off. That seems to correct the problem, but only for a short while, since it will eventually start printing single print jobs split on two pages.
    Please help. Thanks.

It sounds like the driver for the printer and the driver for the IE9 are having a conflict. I would advise trying to open the same page in a different web browser to see if the problem follows multiple browsers, or only IE9.
Also, I would try reverting back to IE8 as a possible workaround. If none of these are able to get the printouts desired, then I would look at Shane_R's thread on using an alternate driver located here.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to print three 4x6" prints on 8.5x11" page in Lightroom?

Is there any way to create a Lightroom print template that prints three different 4x6" images onto a single 8.5x11" page? There's plenty of room on the page to do this--it just involves printing two in one orientation and a third in the opposite orientation. For example, on a portrait letter size page print 2 portrait orientation 4x6" images butted up against one another and a third 4x6" landscape image below those.
I have figured out how to create this layout arrangement in the Picture Package portion of the Lightroom 2 print module, but then I get three copies of the *same* image whereas I want to print 3 different images. As far as I can tell the Contact Sheet/Grid printing (which prints 1 of each image) doesn't have the capacity for adding "cells" of different sizes or orientations. It offers only a simple 'rows and columns' approach to laying out photos on a page.
Ultimately my goal is to select a bunch of images in Lightroom and print one copy of each image at 4x6". I want them all printed on a series of 8.5x11" pages fitting the maximum number of images on each page. In case you're wondering, the '2x2 Cells' template that comes in Lightroom doesn't work for me because you can't quite get the size up to 4x6".
Can anyone help me? I have Lightroom 2 and Lightroom 1.4. I also have Photoshop CS3 and can't figure out how to do it there either (though I'd prefer to stay in Lightroom the whole time). I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3 and I have a Canon S900 printer using Epson Premium Semi gloss Photo Paper.

    >I was afraid that was the answer. It seems like such a basic need for photographers to print 4x6's and efficiently use paper.
Believe me, you're not the first to ask about this.
    >Jao--what's a minilab? Do you mean sending them out to print either online or at a physical store?
Either. They typically use the exact same machines. I use costcos for supercheap prints with a quality that is hard to match using your own printer. They even provide profiles that give you superb color. The only problem is that you don't have a choice of papers the same way you have at home and that the gamut is a little smaller than a very good inkjet. I use several more pro services too for better papers and only occasionally print myself. Usually making me curse at the EPSON clogging inkjets (TM) make-me-lose-twice-the-amount-of-ink-per-print-as-advertised feature. Printing myself costs me 4 to 5 times as much as labs and that is when Lightroom behaves and doesn't without warning start double managing the color. Sometimes you want that personal attention though or that art paper and then the cost of the print is often negligible with respect to the sale.

  • My photosmart c410 pauses ~ 1 minute before finishing the last page of a job - also on a single page

I have a photosmart c410, set up as wireless.  On the last page of a print job, printing stops with about 1-2 inches to go on the page, then waits around 1 minute and finishes.  A single page job does the same thing.  During this time there are no errors visible, the printer and print queue indicate the job is printing.  When finished, the print looks fine.
Is there a way to get it to finish without the delay?  I tried the print diagnostic utility.  It says jobs are stuck in the print queue during the delay time.  The "fix" can't clear the problem and just says "reboot".  After the print job completes, every thing reports as OK.
UPDATE:  11/9/11 - HP Customer service (on chat screen) walked me through diagnostics, identification and solution to problem.  The person was extremely patient and helpful - it took almost an hour, but the printer is working properly now.

    I've kept investigating this further.
I've now found that this is a cache management issue.
I found that the cache options (Tools-Options-Advanced-Network ).
The Cache file on Firefox was set to a limit of 350 MB and the Cache was using 350 MB of storage.
    I tried clearing the cache.
After I cleared the cache I found that when I had loaded a web page after I shut down Firefox and restarted and went back to the tab it loaded the web page as it had been the last time I visited.
This suggests that the problem I was encountering was that the cache was full and that rather than clearing out old content from the cache that once the cache filled up Firefox stopped writing new data to the cache.
I also note that the button labelled "Override automatic cache management" was ticked. That would tend to suggest that Firefox was being told not to delete old content when the cache filled.
I've now unticked the "Override automatic cache management" box and will see how I get on.

  • Duplex printing of multiple copies of single page

I really like that the settings for printing are retained so you can leave it set to duplex rather than having to select it each time. Although I do get caught with not resetting the number of copies on occasion. I do a lot of printing and like to conserve paper.
The problem is when duplex is set and I print multiple copies of a single page, it prints on both sides of the paper. When printing two copies I get one page printed on two sides instead of two pages printed on one side.
I know the easy answer is reset the duplex setting. But it should print correctly regardless. Has anyone had this problem and found how to deal with it other than resetting duplex?

If these settings are in the printer driver (which they most likely are) then you'd have to contact the driver manufacturer. Perhaps there are multiple "double-sided" settings. For instance, if there is "duplex" as one option and "two-sided" as another option in the driver, then perhaps one indicates all copies will be printed double-sided even on the same page (as you're experiencing), whereas the other would print multiple two-sided copies. This, however, is very driver-dependent behavior. I'd recommend checking to see if there's an update available for your printer driver that might either clear the problem or provide a clearer option setting for the print jobs.

  • Printing single page, but feeding twice?

    Hi,
I just installed a Laserjet M2727nfs. Everything went fine.
But when I print 1 or more pages (non duplex) it prints the page, but when it's almost ready it takes the pages in again as it wants to print duplex. But It is just a single page.
I have not been able to find a setting to change this.
    Made a short video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18106764/20150403_083456.mp4
Hopefully someone knows what this is
    Thanks.

With many printers. 'sided' paper has to be loaded into the trays in one way for Simplex jobs, but in a different way for Duplex jobs.
Some printers offer Alternative Letterhead Mode, whereby media which is declared with a Paper Type of Letterhead can always be loaded in one way (the way required for duplex jobs).
With simplex jobs, the printer will then automatically handle switching sides (probably by adding a blank page and duplexing each simplex page).
