EPrint JPG Photo files always print 3.5 x 5.25"???

Is there a way to make my JPG photo files print larger than 3.5 x 5.25.  On the US TV Commercial with the baby, the EPrint comes out of the printer in what looks to be an 8x10 format??????  I can't find any settings to size my photo on my EPrint Central site.

Have you tried inserting 8 x 10 photo paper in the printer tray?????
You can try copying the 8x 10 image into MS Word or PDF document and send the file as attachment
Or, copy the image directly into the mail body and see if it works or not.

  • How do I recover the original jpg photo files from my computer? They are embedded in the iPhoto Library and I cannot see the actual file.

I am trying to locate the original jpg or photo files that I uploaded from my camera. I know that the photos are there, because they show up in my iPhoto Library. Where can I go to find the original file ex: DSCN1242.jpg or OLM4564.jpg ?

Select the photo in iPhoto and use the command "File > Export" and set the "Kind" in the Export panel to "Original". That will write a copy of the original to a folder you can access in the Finder.
The command "File > Reveal in Finder" will show you the original inside the iPhoto Library, but you must not access the files this way. If you access them from other apps using the Finder, you will corrupt your library.

    - Select the Paper/Quality Tab -> in the "select paper source" choose the photo tray
    - Set the paper size (the next option down) accordingly

  • After Mango update ePrint attached photos do not print

Even after upgrading my Samsung Focus with the Mango update, attached photos emailed to ePrint still do not print.

    Hi AirForce9731,
If your printer has a photo tray, sending photos via ePrint will default to the photo tray. The photos need to be at least 100 DPI for a print job to be successful as noted here at ePrintCenter.com. Also, emailing photos at times gives you options to send the photo as a small, actual, or large size.  If the option is presented, I would recommend actual size, if not large.

    Hello trwhite,
Please take a look at this document, which has links with step-by-step instructions on how to print various things from various places (computer, phone, tablet, etc.).  This document shows how to print photos saved on your computer, which I suspect is the specific document you are looking for.

  • EPrintCenter: "Photo files will always be printed in 4x6". Huh?

ePrintCenter states "Photo files will always be printed in 4x6”.  Is there a workaround?  It seems presumptuous and restrictive to assume everyone wants to print jpg/gif pics on 4x6/PhotoPaper.  I have a black&white scanned drawing that needs to be on larger 8.5x11 standard paper so I can read it.

Yes, instead of attaching the file, include this in the body of the email.

Elements 13 - a jpg file always opens in B & W raw and I cannot get it to open in colour. Same file opens OK in colour in Elements 9. Any suggestions how I can get it to open in colour in Elements 13?

Thanks for your reply - I just open the file with "Open" in the File menu - all my own jpg files open fine in colour. This is someone else's photo given to me and it does not matter how I open it "Open", "Open in raw" or "Open with ..." it always opens in B & W raw in the raw dialogue box. In Elements 9, which I also have on my PC it opens fine as jpg in colour so I can edit it there, but I am just wondering why I am getting this problem in elements 13. If I open it in any other programme such as Windows Photo viewer or Office 2010 viewer it opens fine in colour.
Not sure what you mean by "basic settings" menu.
    Thanks for the reply

  • When I eprint a picture from my blackberry, it always prints two pages.

I have the hp photosmart 5512.  When I eprint a photo from my blackberry, a second page always prints, stating that it was sent via at&t blackberry.  I would love to avoid wasting a sheet of photo paper for each picture printed.  Is there a setting where I can fix this?  Is it something on my phone?

    Hello kbock.
This is something to be resolved at your Blackberry e-mail application settings, which I don't have to help you further.

  • The photo print quality from my Mac to my Epson Artisan 810 is poor.  When I take the same photo files (JPEGs) to my PC to print to the same printer without even uploading them to the PC, they print brighter and crisper from my PC.

The photo print quality from my Mac to my Epson Artisan 810 is poor.  I just purchased my iMac for my photography business in Jan. (this is my first Mac).  When I first tried printing, I noticed the quality wasn't as good as I expected it to be.  Then, I had to print 4-3.5x5s on a sheet, so I e-mailed the image to myself and opened it on my PC to print it (much easier to print that way on PC in Windows Photo Gallery - I think it's impossible to print that way in iPhoto).  That's when I first noticed that when I take the same photo files (JPEGs) to my PC to print to the same printer without even uploading them to the PC, they print brighter and crisper from my PC.
I've already been on the phone and e-mail w/Applecare many times over this issue. We've tried creating a test user and printing from there, and we've tried reinstalling the OS.  I've tried printing from iPhoto, ImageCapture, and Preview apps/utilities, all w/the same result - no comparison to the PC-printed versions (no enhancements have been performed on the PC).
I'm out of ideas, and so is Applecare.  They say it's most likely a driver issue b/c the printer is outdated, and that the only solution is to buy a new printer.  BUT it is a pain for me to purchase a new printer - it takes days of research due to the nature of my business and the fact that I need a printer that can print directly onto a disc.  I love this printer and don't want to have to buy a new one if I don't have to.

Yes.  I've checked for updates, and the driver I installed is the same as the one on Epson's website.  I also spoke with Epson Customer Service, which was a dead end.  Apple says the problem is due to an Epson driver issue (blaming Epson), but Epson says that with the older printers, it's actually Apple who creates the driver, so the problem is actually with Apple.  Typical he-said, she-said...
Maybe not. Probably worth checking here:

  • How do I make a photo file size smaller? The photo is .jpg.

I need to make a photo file size smaller for some other uses.
    imac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   iphoto 5.0.4

Haha yes i forgot that you may not be using Apples Mail. Lets try the export then file>export, then under the heading "format" click JPG. Then click "scale images no larger then:" in the width field type "800" then the height field should change by itself. Thats what i do for emailing, it's usually the best trade between quality & size, that should be small enough to email. Best wishes JAG
P.S. when you first click "scale images no larger then" what's already in the width height fields? thats your actual photo resolution.

  • I cannot get my photo to print for this reason -there is a photo in this print job which is missing its source file

I'm working in lightroom to print cards with a custom print size.  When I set up the printer I get a message that reads "There is one photo in the print job which is missing its source file".  The preview shows my card as blank.  What is wrong?

I would believe what the message is saying, that a photo is missing.  Do you know what photo you're trying to print, and if you look at this photo in Library, does it have a question mark on the thumbnail or other indication that the preview is there but the master photo is gone/moved?

  • How do i put a photo file folder on my desktop so that I may use it for an outside lab to print glclee? to upload photos to a photo lab

how do i put a photo file folder on my desktop so that I may upload photos to an outside lab to print glclee? I have already selected the 20 photos to print but I keep getting the whole file and need to reselect from the 8,000. photos. There must be an easier way!

There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

  • ? I recently reinstalled Photoshop Elements after having printing problems my photo files have gone

I recently had problems with printing on my HP printer and discovered it was to do with PSE
After reinstalling PSE on my Mac I could now print photos again but all my photo files were lost. I have reinstalled PSE in the past but not had this problem.
    Can anyone help?

It may be that application is not opening the default catalog that was set before uninstalling the application . Please search for pse<version>db file e.g. if you are using pse10 than .pse10db file. There may be multiple files. Please look for folder name, folder name would be same as catalog name. Once the particular folder has been found go to File->catalog, click on Browse button, browse to folder location and select it open catalog.

  • Photoshop loading photo files very slow (not printer)

For the past several weeks Photoshop C3 has been loading even the smallest of photo files very, very slowly -- about 10-15 seconds for one.
I read an earlier post to this affect, that said it might be a networked printer, but the printer on this computer is NOT networked.
I'm running Windows XP, latest update, with 3 gig of RAM. And we have deleted and reloaded the Photoshop program and updated it to make sure it's not a file goober in the program.
Anyone else experiencing this trend and/or have any solutions.

    John:
Thanks for the effort, but alas it didnt make any difference.
Our IT support crew tried a variety of generic drivers in the default mode, but a 56k photo still took 15 seconds to load.
However, I still had a version of "Photoshop CS" on my machine. So, out of curiosity I fired up CS and grabbed the same test photos, and bam the photo popped right up. So it is definitely a CS3 issue
Any other solutions that you know of?
