EPrint only Attatchments

Hey,
sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany and my English knowledges aren't perfect
I just bought the printer "HP Photosmart B110".My first problem was, that I couldn't connect to it by W-LAN. I have an idea, why this problem might appear, maybe someone of you can explain to me if I'm right:
When I start my printer, I can connect to my router perfecty. But when I want to install the Driver on my PC it finds the printer, but then sais, that it isn't able to connect to it. I think, the problem is this: My PC isn't connectet to the router by W-LAN, but by LAN. Can this be the reason? If it isn't, what can be the problem or what can I do to make it work?
Because of this problem, I tryed to fix this by always sending an E-Mail to my printer if I want to print something. Of course, I would prefere the "normal printing method", but this would be better than nothing. The problem is, that I want, that my printer doesn't print the E-mail and the attatchment, but only the attatchment. I didn't find a way to do this. Is it possible to do this? If it is, how can I do it?
Thanks in advance
/edit I can even connect to the printer in my browser if I type in the IP adress..
/edit2 I just tested it on my sisters laptop which is connected to the router by W-LAN and it works. So the problem is, that I'm connected to the Router by LAN. Why is this a problem?

  • Eprint only prints Web Address.

I have a HP 6500A Plus printer & when sending from my iphone all thats printed is a single page with the web address only. When sending from iphone it only ask if i want to mail a LINK to the page. Am i doing something wrong?  I am evidently set up properly for Eprint for its connecting and printing.

When printing from iPhone, you have two ways of printing.
    1.  ePrint - send an email to the ePrint enabled printer email address, and the email content plus it's attachment will be printed.  ePrint can be done anywhere and any time.
    2.  Airprint - your iPhone has to have iOS 4.2 and above.  Your iphone also need to be on the same network as your printer within the wireless range.  Or else it will not work.
From the brief information you provided, it seems you are printing form Airprint.  It you open the internet page, the page info should be printed, not just the link.

  • Printing via eprint only prints in black and white, not colour

If I have a connection to my printer via USB cable or my home wireless network I can print in colour without specifying it in the print job (I.e. it appears to be the default). However, if I send a document to my printer via email using hpeprint then my documents always print in black and white.
I have an hp laserjet pro 400 color m451nw.
Any help would be gratefully received coz this is driving me crazy!

No Problem!  I am glad to hear that ePrint is printing in the desired color option at this point.   I see you are now having an issue with color vs b&w on Cloud Print.  Are you meaning Google Cloud Print?  If so, are you printing using Google Cloud Print from a computer or from a mobile device?
If you are using a mobile device, then are you using the Google Cloud Print App?  What is the OS type of the device? (Apple iOS, Android, Windows mobile, etc)
I can provide you with the correct steps to change these settings, but need to know the method of which you are printing.
    Have a wonderful day,
    Jason

  • My HP Photosmart allinone eprinter only prints when I close my PC down. How do I rectify this?

Everytime I log onto my laptop I receive a printer error message, asking to either reinstall software or reboot.  When I check my printer set up it says the printer is off line.  I change to online and it keeps my printing in a queue and will only print when I close my laptop down.  Would appreciate your help.  It will not allow me to reinstall the software.

Thank you for contacting HP; I understand that your device is printing two pages.
If you are using Windows, do the following:
Control Panel -> Devices and Printers (Win7) or Printers and Faxes (XP)
Right click your HP printer icon -> Printer Properties -> Ports -> uncheck 'enable bidirectional support'. -> APPLY

  • Does the HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series printer support eprint?

I really like the ability to ePrint using my new printer. I want to be able to set up other printer models at other locations. How do I know what printers support ePrint? I have one printer the HP Officejet 6500 E709. Does it suppoort ePrint?

    Hi,
The Officejet 6500 Wireles (E709n_ do not support ePrint, only later models provide cloud capabilities.
You may found a complete list of ePrint supported printers in the following document:

  • EPrint SPAM whitelist

    1. I have set my hp ePrint only accept and print email from specific address.
    2. I have forward emails to ePrint from 3 email account, from PC and iPhone. Sometimes it will print out, but sometimes it cannot because spam detected.
I hope HP can program the allowed email address list as spam filter whitelist, that means any address on allowed email address list will direct bypass spam filter so we can always print from those email address without any problem.
    Your help are mostly appreciated.

The "spam/virus" message often occurs because the email did not contain any text in the subject line. Please try re-sending an email to your printer and adding text in the email's subject line.
mails are mostly forward, I can confirm no subject issue
    1. Are there any attachments being sent? If so, which attachment file type is being used (PDF or Word documents, JPG photos, etc)?
Some got attachment, some did not got attachment. PDF type, excel type and jpg photo type is the types of attachments that I attached when send print job.
    2. Which email address/addresses are used to send ePrint emails?
    [email protected], [email protected]
    3. The results of a test email (success/fail) which will help isolate the source of the issue. Please follow the instructions below:
The result of test email is successful print out, but the purpose we use eprint center is for print out document we need on the way back to office then we can save time as the documents already standby there for us. But this spam issue has make this feature no user friendly, most of the time when we reach office the ducuments no print out then we have to reprint and it wasted our time.
I suggest it is best to let the allowed email address list equal to spam white list, so your spam engine would not filter out our email. All those email I forward to print are no verify by yahoo and gmail as spam, hope your server also do not. Thanks.

  • EPrint printing very small

I'm printing from Outlook 2010. When I print directly, I have no problem. If I send an email to print via ePrint, it prints very small. I think it's something with the driver (HP OfficeJet 7500). Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank you!

    Hi RenewHeather,
ePrint only renders the job as it comes and it does not change the size of the fonts.  In order to print out the larger fonts, you should change the font size before printing (via the email app).

  • Can a wireless printer be used to print from an android phone without internet connection?

I'm trying to print invoices at a trade show from my Android phone.  Are there any wireless printers that can do that without an internet connection?  Does ePrint only work with an internet connection?

To print from your Android phone, you would need the HP ePrint Home & Biz app available for free from the Google Play store.
As for printing without an internet connection, your options are somewhat limited.
First thing you would want to do is make sure that you have a printer that is compatible with the ePrint Home & Biz app. A list of supported printers can be found here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile/Cloud-Services-Supported-Printers-ePrint-Airpr...
You next step would be to get a wireless router. You don't necessarily need an internet connection, just a router broadcasting a wireless signal. After you have the printer set up, you would want to connect it wirelessly to the router. Then you would want to connect your Android device to the same router. This will put both the printer and phone on the same network.
As long as both devices are on the same network, the ePrint Home & Biz app will search the network for compatible printers and your printer should show up in the list, allowing you to use the app to send print jobs to it.
However if you want to use the actual ePrint service, you will have to have an active internet connection. The way ePrint works is that your printer is assigned an email address and when you send something to that email address, it prints off on your printer. If the printer does not have an active internet connection, it has no way of reaching the servers and the print jobs will not print off. You actually wouldn't even be able to set up ePrint without being on an active internet connection.
Hope that helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

  • Printing photos from mobile phone

If I email a photo to my printer from my laptop, it prints without problem. However, if I do the same from my LG GD510 phone I always have the result "FAILED - insufficient data", though simple text emails from the phone print fine. Why is this, and what can I do about it? I have tried sending photos at both full and reduced size, with and without subject line, with and without accompanying text message.

    Hi johntyson,
I suspect this might be due to the email client that is used in your LG mobile phone.
When you try to create a new email, somehow the format is not acceptable by the ePrint server.
ePrint only support certain email client such as Outlook, AppleMail, etc
As for your gmail, perhaps you can try sending email using gmail web client  through the phone web browser?
    Thank you.

  • How can I print only the emailed attachment to my ePrint enabled printer?

I have ePrint working fine.  I was able to email an attachment to the printer from many miles away.  To prevent wasting paper, I'd like to be able to tell my printer or ePrint Center to just print the attachment, not the email it is attached to.
I have an HP OfficeJet 6500A.

    Hi Sparty80,
The way ePrint is designed, it will print the body of the email and any supported attachments. The only way to print the attachment and not the body of the email is to attach the document to a blank email, or delete the body in the email when you forward the message, which maybe easier.

  • How do i set up hp eprint to. print in black only

How do i set up hp eprint to pint in black only

Hi and welcome to the HP Support Community.
On an Android device, in the ePrint app, you select the document or photo you want to print.  In the Preview screen, open Settings (the document icon with a gear in the top right corner of the screen).  There among other things, you can set Color Mode to Black Only, Grayscale, or Color.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can I have smart print eprint on two different computes with only account

Can I have smart print eprint on two different computers with only one account???

Are you talking about accessing an ePrint account from various computers? Or having  HP Smart Print on multiple computers?
ePrint account information is kept at the site. You can log on it from anywhere, from any computer. Just go to the sire and click on Sign in and enter your password and email address. You can have multiple printers on one user account at ePrint Center (EPC). But printers can only be registered on ePrint Center to one user account.  If you have an ePrint cable printer you can create an account at this link here.
HP Smart Print does not require an account you can download to an Internet Explorere browser (versions 6-9) and use it with no registration.

  • Why can't I AirPrint from iPad w new HP printer and can only eprint??

IPad and iPhone even recognize printer (HP photo smart b210A) when in photo/email and select print but nothing happens and full service on wireless connection

    kelly145,
Yes, the HP Photosmart B210a is an ePrint and AirPrint capable printer.
You may also want to download the HP ePrint Home and Biz app from the Apple App Store. Although printing using this app is only capable from inside the application, the Home and Biz app uses a different service than the Bonjour service used by Apple's AirPrint.
This can help isoloate whether it may be an iOS, router, or printer issue that needs to be addressed.

  • Why will my ipad only print once to eprint photosmart Plus b210a

When i go through the trouble process of turning off wireless router, printer , and ipad then reboot all three. One print will be printed then no more.

    Hello,
Thanks for the post.  Actually, we could have several issues here, let's try and narrow it down.  Do you lose connections between your iPad and Router?  How about the printer?  Does it keep it's connection?  I've pasted in a couple of links to some reference documents that may assist with your issue...... Good Luck!
