EPrint User registration fails

I tried several times to register on ePrint Center but after entered all the required data I get always the following message on the form top:
Oops! Il nostro server ha un problema con questo inoltro! Ci scusiamo per l'inconveniente.
This sounds as "Ooops! Our server has a problem with this forwarding! We apologize for the drawback"
AppEcbError: ECB request failed: Error: code='900' description='[SF_ERR_202]ystem exception: com.snapfish.user.UserException: no dbnode info for website 2000064 cobrand hpcinkit'

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are getting an error when trying to sign up at HP ePrintCenter.
The error that you are getting is mentioning Snapfish so suspect that the credentials that you are using on the HP ePrintCenter do not match your Snapfish credentials. If you are like me and don’t remember setting up a Snapfish account, please follow the steps below.
Go to Snapfish.com and click on ‘Log In’ in the upper right hand corner.
Please click on the “Forgot your password?’ link
Please enter the email address you are trying to use use for your HP ePrintCenter account and click on ‘Submit’
Please check your inbox and open the email from Snapfish to reset your password and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Please try logging into HP ePrintCenter with your Snapfish credentials.
Please let me know the outcome.

Self user registration request fails during Approval.

Hi,
My case is explained below.
I have created a new user using "New User Registration" in the sign in page.
Now the user is created in OID.
I logged into identity manager using "xelsysadm" user.
I clicked "Track Requests" and search, I could see the new request with status "Pending request approval"
I clicked on "Pending Approvals", selected the request and click on "Approve"
I get a success message. However the user is not getting created in OIM.
Here the user is getting deleted from OID also.
I could not find any forum page discussing this issue. Anyone good in 11gr2 kindly help.

Okay, here are the detailed steps to update it.
Click on track requests and search or your request
Click on your request number then it will open request details form.
This form will have two tabs request details and approval details.
Click on approval details tab.
Click on row#1.
As soon as you click on row #1, it will show you a history down to that row # 1 details. Here you will see sequestnce #, stage1, participant name, participant action etc.
Click on participant name for ex. xelsysadm.
As soon as you click on xelsysadm, view snapshot button will be enabled.
Click on view snapshot button.
Now, it will will show you a detailed request details form which will have two tabs request details and approval details.
Click on request details tab. Here you can update organization name. and you will see update button as well. Click on update button after updating org name.
Now, go to pending approvals and approve your request.

Eprint center registration

We I tre to register musei on ePrint Center I receive the following error message :

User registration errors

Hello.
I am studying Webcenter Portal 11.1.1.8. Now I am trying to make a self-registration on my portal.
I've configured connection to soa and ucm, so that they are shown in Enterprise Manager in Webcenter-Portal-Spaces-Settings-Service Configuration section and tested succesfully.
So, I think workflows should work correctly.
When I try to invite user in portal using weblogic account, I get following error in messagebox: Sending invitation to user(s) failed. The reason is : Unexpected error occurred while trying to invite user(s) to portal proj1. The same error is in log file WC_Spaces-diagnostic.log.
Also when I log in as different user - user1 and try to join the portal, there are another errors:
1. If portal is public, error "Illegal character in path at index 43: /webcenter/portal/proj1/system/Self-Service Membership." occurs in log when I press button "Join portal" (a button is in window which appears when right clicking portal icon in "Browse portals").
2. If portal is private, error "User user1 does not have permission to view portal proj1" occurs in log when I press button "Join portal" and when I press "Request Membership" with selected role.
Both cases result in message box "An error has occurred during membership processing. Please try accessing the portal again to verify your membership.".
What can be wrong?

Facing issue on request submission from Self user registration with workflow.

HI Everyone,
We have a use case where in User Registration process has a two stage workflow.
In the first stage approver(Common admin) would open the request and approve it updating the organization to which the user belongs to and the the work flow should be routed to the selected organization admin in the second stage based on the org selected in the first level of approval.
For this we have devloped a workflow and applied the same and now facing the issue once the request moves to Second level for approval.
Request gets failed.
Below is the exception found on clicking Request status from Track Requests.

CCMS: CEN configuration - Registration Failed due to RFC : Issue Resolved.

Hi There!
I was trying for CEN-CCMS setup and I was bale to connect my other systems to the CEN, infact I was able to connect all the system, but somehow my DEV box is detached from the CEN box. When I try to run sapccmsr -R -j2ee pf= to register with CEN, at the end of when I enter the details of "csmreg" user of CEN, throws the following error.

Illegal instruction (core dumped}
In SM59, the TCP/IP rfc name with those program ID throws error. "Error when opening RFC connection". If I creadted the Program-ID in VA, then SM59 will pass the test connection, but its not the resolution, the DEV box is still detached from CEN.
I redo the configuration with new CSMCONF too
If I check the "monitored Remote System/RZ21 on CEN, it throws:

IDM 8.0 Domino User Registration Failure with Explicit Policy

I'm using IDM 8.0 Patch 5 with a Lotus Notes 7.0.2 CCH1 client. I have been successfully creating accounts for almost 2 years and am looking to migrate to IDM 8.x. Previous to my IDM 8.x configuration, I have been using the Lotus Notes 6.5.5 CCH2 client with IDM 6.0 SP2. I have been using an explicit policy since day one with the previous configuration without any issues. The policy was being set using the Policy schema attribute with a field on the user form and worked fine. As of IDM 8.0, the gateway service crashes on every attempt to create a user when the Lotus Notes 6.5.5 client is used. Due to this headache, I tried the Lotus Notes 7.0.2 client and the gateway no longer crashes. However, a new error message is produced. At about the point in registration where the notes ID file is generated (which doesn't succeed), it throws the following error:
DominoExtension::Error while executing 'WS_REGNewPerson' errCode: '8421' Registration Failed: A policy could not be retrieved from the Domino directory.
When I stop the gateway service and open the Lotus Notes client using the same credentials the gateway service uses, I can easily find the policy object that we've been using, open it, look at it, etc. With the gateway trace enabled at the highest level (4), it shows no other information between the call to WS_REGNewPerson and the error displayed in the response. I would also like to mention that I noticed the new availability of the explicit policy attribute on the resource configuration page. I attempted to use the resource attribute instead of the form field that I was previously using and it also fails with the same error.
It should also be noted that I'm running this new environment in parallel with the existing system, that is, IDM 6.0 SP2 with Lotus Notes 6.5.5. That environment has its own gateway servers and web servers. The production Domino environment has not changed and still works fine in the current production IDM environment. The IDM 8.x environment is running against the same Domino servers (same physical servers), but is using separate web servers and gateway servers in a test environment using the same credentials as the production environment.
Has anyone seen this issue and had success in overcoming it? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of important bugs here:
Bug 19094: gateway crashes when provisioning Notes user if Notes client version is 6.5 and server is 7.x
Bug 17213: Add support for Lotus Domino/Notes 8
The resolution brought on by BUG # 17213 added a section to the release notes that states the Domino Server and Lotus Notes client versions must match.
Regarding the error you're seeing:
DominoExtension::Error while executing 'WS_REGNewPerson' errCode: '8421' Registration Failed: A policy could not be retrieved from the Domino directory.
I believe there was a change from REGNewUser to REGNewPerson, which could be playing a role, but I am not certain. I hope this helps.

i tried recovering the Native security through shared services and also restarted the essbase server and shared servives.Even then i get the same above error.
I even tried deleting the project from http://server:28080/interop/content

You have to use a Microsoft word.Open a word document->Go to File->Click Open ->type the url http://server:28080/interop/content/ in the file name.(look screen shot 1)
It will prompt for user and password type in and then go to Files->AdminProjects->Default application Group(look screen shot 2)
then look for the application and then delete it.
also look in for the application name in that project folder too.....(shot 2)

If MS word is not working also you can navigate through using MAP NETWORK DRIVE option in the windows and follow the same steps above.

'SIM card registration failed' on Nokia 6300 - fin...

I have two Nokia 6300 phones (I know, they are pretty old now, but there's no point me switching them while these still work!). I had one with me when I worked in New York and it worked fine out there with a US pay-as-you-go SIM card. The other one I saved to use in the UK when I was here, and it has a UK pay-as-you-go SIM (Tesco). I have now moved back to the UK and want to use both phones with my UK SIM card, however the one I used in America says 'SIM card registration failed' and won't find any reception when i put my SIM card (or any SIM card) in to it.
I'd be extremely grateful for any help/advice people can offer.

If you bought it used chances are who ever sold it has reported it lost or stolen or It was stolen before they sold it

Send Email after user registration

Hi i hope somebody can help me
Using Dreamweaver CS3 and the ADDT, i created a user registration page using the ADDT wizard,
TRouble is when i click submit, it comes up with an error relating to the sending of the Email:-

If i delete the Send_email trigger, then the registration is successful, however, without the Email confirmation (obviously).
Any help would be gratefully recieved as its been driving me nuts for days now.

Are you running this code on a Yahoo store or just bouncing the emails thru the yahoo account?

Yahoo has recently changed server names and/or ports. You might have to try plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk:465
I've never used Yahoo to do this, so I'm no expert. Just found this googling a bit.
From what I've read, it seems yahoo is mixing up the port numbers due to spam issues. You will need to contact Yahoo regarding which port to use if the above does not work.

E71 SIP REGISTRATION FAILED

I'm trying to register E71 to Brekeke SIP Server.
When password authentication is enabled on the server, the server returns "401 Unauthorized" for the UA's 1st REGISTER request to ask the UA to send user name and password. And when the UA sends the 2nd REGISTER request, the server accepts it.
The problem with E71 is after it receives "401 Unauthorized" from the server, it doesn't send the 2nd REGISTER request any more. And shows "Registration Failed" on the phone.
Does anyone have similiar problems? How can I work around this?

IDispatch error codes 5056, 1590, and 1557 makes hfm Srvr registration fail

I have installed EPM 11.1.1.2 and configured everything successfully except for Financial Management. When configuring Financial Management the Server/Cluster registration fails and I can't deploy to the imbeded App Srvr.

modify the first CLASSPATH in $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssoreg.sh and add '$ORACLE_HOME/jdbc/lib/orai18n.jar' after the entry for ojdbc14.jar,

I have a query, about adding extra fields in the new user registration page of portal.
If you can suggest the required source files in details,inorder to incorporate two more fields.
Say, AGE and COMPANY,with the existing fields in the same page.
Along with this,can you please send the details of retrieving those information from backend and the backend functionalities associated with the SUBMIT button on the registration page.

Your query is divided into two parts.
The first part is adding new fields into existing form. This feature comes under Branding of portal. Plz use the link below understanding the same and related help :

The second part is retrieving the values from backend.Here it will be the UME database. You need to develop a logon.par file and replace the same in your portal.
