The driver I downloaded from Epson website does not work with Yosemite
Once I click the .dmg it said....
EPSON Printer.mpkg” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.
“EPSON Printer.mpkg” is on the disk image “ME-100Series_875W_MP.dmg”.
Safari downloaded this disk image today at 10:35 PM from download.ebz.epson.net.
Help !

Did you download this from the Epson web site? If not, trash it. If so, control - click on it and select open. You will probably be asked for your password.

What EXACT version of Photoshop CS4 are you running? You should be on Photoshop CS4 v 11.0.2.
Also run Apple's software update to see whether it offers you the latest Epson update:

Need 3rd party lexmark driver for Yosemite

Lexmark does not have a driver for Yosemite for my S605 printer. Is there a third party driver I could use on my iMac?

Did you try the Generic PostScript and/or PCL ppd when adding the printer? Or even the drivers for 10.9, if you are able to install them?

Epson CX6400 driver for Leopard?

How can I get my Epson CX6400 to use an Epson driver in Leopard?
The Printer Features/Presets are not active in Gutenprint.
The CX6400 worked fine in Tiger. I installed Leopard as Archive with Preserve Users. I customized for Epson printers only.
After the install, the CX6400 could not print.
I downloaded and installed current Epson software, but CX6400 did not appear in the driver list.
Apple says Leopard uses Gutenprint V.5.1.3 so I downloaded current Gutenprint software, and reset the printer.
It prints, but no access to presets.

There have been many reports of printing problems after doing an Archive and Install of Leopard. Try resetting the printing system. Open System Prefereces -> Print & Fax. Control-click (right-click) in the white box where the printers are listed. You will see an option to reset the printing system.
After you reset the printing system, you will have to add your printer again. There should be no problems with accessing all the features of the Gutenprint drivers. There is one problem with the Epson Gutenprint drivers in Leopard. You will have to manually select the Resolution you want to print at. Selecting the *Print Quality* (eg Standard, Draft, High) does not work. It will always print in the Economy mode if you do not manually select the Resolution. You can make a Preset for the resolution you want to use most often.
I downloaded and installed current Epson software, but CX6400 did not appear in the driver list.
The Epson support page for Leopard does show a download for drivers for the CX6400. It indicates that it is compatible with PowerPC Macs. You have an Intel Mac, so I think their drivers will not work on your computer.

Snow Leopard Updated Epson Printer Driver for Epson R800 - poor colour !

I just installed through software update the latest epson printer drivers and, then, deleted the Epson R800 from my printer list and added it back in (with the new printer driver). I did find a slightly different printer dialog box and found the setting of "presets" worked now (it did not previously).
However, when I printed out of Adobe Lightroom 2.6, using a custom paper profile and no colour management, that the print was faded, the colours were washed out. The result was unacceptable. After a few attempts, I looked in the Library folder, printers, epson and found two folders labeled, "inkjet printer" and "inkjet printer2". I determined that "inkjetprinter2" was the new folder and deleted it and deleted/added in my Epson r800 (using "inkjetprinter" folder. The resulting print was perfect.
So, my conclusion is that the new driver is not functioning as it should and I would warn users to be prepared for problems. Am I missing something here? Could I have done the updating of the printer driver and printer differently?

You may need to recalibrate you monitor color settings.
One of the things that changed from 10.5 to 10.6 was gamma; if you are using calibration from 10.5 or earlier, the gamma change will throw off print colors.
Personally, on my last 2 epson printers (R300, RX685), I've configured to let the printer color manage, and used the Vivid setting.
Have not had any off colors, etc.

Epson 777i Driver for Mac OS10.3.9

I've installed every driver I can find and can use my Epson 7771 to print in Classic but not in 10.3.9.
I had been able to print in 10.3.9 until my hard drive died and had to reinstall mo.3.9.

There is no OS X driver on the Epson Website, for the Epson Stylus Color 777i.
Are you sure you were printing in Panther 10.3.x, and not in the Classic environment, or booted into OS 9.x?
Is OS 9.x still present on your system?

A protocol called Bonjour is used to advertise the printer on your local network. If you don't see the MG in the Add printer window, then like other users who upgraded to Yosemite, you have a problem with Bonjour. Until a fix is supplied by Apple you can add your printer using the LPD protocol. To do so you will have to determine the IPv4 address being used by the MG. This can be determined via the control panel on the MG via Device Settings > Network Settings > WLAN Details. Once you have the IPv4 address, open Printers & Scanners and select to add. Then click the IP icon and enter the IPv4 address of the MG. Set the Protocol to Line Printer Daemon and leave the Queue field blank. Change the Name to MG3550 and select the Canon MG3500 series driver in the Use menu. Click Add to complete the printer creation. Now open a document to see if you can print to it.

Try deleting the printer, the /Library/Printer/EPSON and the /Library/Caches/Epson/ folder and then reinstalling the updates through Software Update. Your printer is shown as supporting print & scan on http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669. If the above doesn't work, you could install the entire Epson package by downloading it here:

I just bought my laptop model Compaq Presario CQ60-110EE last Jan 1, 2009. I installed Windows Vista Premium and started to look for drivers at www.hp.com. Gladly, I found all the drivers except for my built-in webcam and bluetooth peripheral device. I searched and tried other webcam drivers hoping it will work but failed. There is youcam driver in hp site but this doesn't work. Could anyone help me find my webcam and bluetooth peripheral device drivers? There's an ftp site for hp which is ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39001-39500 but I don't which of those drivers is the right one for my webcam.

I recently changed over to a Macbook Pro and are currently loading old software, with minimul success though. The really important one is the Epson V700 Scanner software. When I click on the icon to begin the dowload I get a message saying the driver is no longer supported. Where/How do I get around this.

HT201372 I am trying to create a bootable USB drive for Yosemite and the terminal is telling me /Volumes/Untitled is not a valid volume mount point. HELP!!!

I erased the USB drive and partitioned it as directed in order to create a bootable drive. When I type in the sudo command in the terminal, it is telling me that /Volumes/Untitled is not a valid volume mount point. HELP!!!

The OS doesn't download scanner "drivers." If the scanner is ICA compliant, you can scan with Image Capture. If it is not, or you wan to use Epson's (or anyone else's) software, you have to download it from them.

Is there a specific printer driver for Yosemite/Epson

There is not one specific printer driver - there are multiple, different drivers for different printers.
In general, Yosemite should automatically download and install printer driver software for any attached printer, providing there is a driver available - you can find the list of auto-supported printer drivers at: OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download - Apple Support
The exception to this is if you upgraded from a previous OS version where you had manually installed printer drivers. Mac OS X won't auto-update manually installed drivers, so you might be stuck with old (incompatible) drivers which could cause a problem.
My suggestion is to first check the list to make sure your printer is supported. If it is, disconnect it, and remove the printer reference from System Preferences -> Printers & Scanners. Then re-connect the printer. When you try to add it in System Preferences the OS should detect it and load the appropriate driver.
If your printer isn't on the supported list, check with Epson to see if they have an updated driver you can install manually - just remember that the OS won't update manually-installed drivers and you'll need to look out for any updates yourself.
