Epson: No Duplex Scan with some apps form the mac store

Hallo everyone,
I have an problem with my epson scanner and some apps from the App Store.
My Epson Workforce 3540 can duplex scanning. With Image Capture this works. But with some apps from the appstore, witch uses self-scanning dialogs, and not the image capture dialog, it do not work. I can select duplex scan, the printer scans the first side, change the papger site, and scan the other side, but the application gets only the first side.
I tested one other printer and this worked.
I contact the developer, the said: We use standard apis from apple (ICDeviceBrowser, ICScannerDevice) and their is noch way make a failure. Then I contact Epson and they told me: Contact Apple!
Is this problem new? It must be a driver problem, or? Help!

Installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.2 Client Combo will reinstall the App Store which might help.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.7.2

How do you install an App from the Mac Store on a second HD

I'm getting a smaller SSD drive for my computer. I don't want all my Mac App Store programs installed on my main drive but rather some on the second drive for obvious reasons. I don't see an option or even a preference panel to do this. Am I missing something simple. How is this done?

After you install Mavericks, run Software Update. You should be offered the updates in the normal update mode. No charge.

My sound only works through the ear phones with some apps....

With some apps (Games and books) I can only get sound on my IPAD 2 though the earphones...this just recently occured. With movies the sound goes through the speakers just fine. Is there some adjustment I can make so I can hear the games without using the ear phones?

Make sure that you haven't got notifications muted (which will affect most games, but not iPod or Videos apps, nor earphones). Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to, notifications can either be muted by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar (the function that the switch isn't performing is on the task bar instead) : double-click the home button to bring up the task bar, slide the bar to the right, and it's the icon far left. 2. Select Store->Sign Out
3. Select Store->Sign In and replace the Apple ID with the one you want to use

With some app (in.es filmon) sound doesnt work.

After updated Ipad2 to v 5.01, with some app (in.es filmon) sound does'nt work.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.

What is the exact name of the application you're trying to launch? Is it in the Applications folder?

Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.

Having problem with my app on the Iphone 4

i recently buy an iphone 4 but lately i been having problem with all app on the iphone i can't enter app store, facebook, tweeter etc and when i try to log off my account it actually don't let me log off i even do a recent to the iphone 4 and yet not letting me do a thing!

I can't download some apps of the App Store.

I got a new iPad 4 and I updated it to the new version and after I did that my kik wasn't there anymore. I went to the App Store so I could re download it but I can't it won't let me it says "open" but when I click on it it won't let me open it this is also napping with some apps I haven't even downloaded. Please help.

- Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed.
- Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading including Mountain Lion.
- Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.
If nothing above applies, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
That will reinstall the App Store for you as well as any necessary system files. It's ok to do this even though v10.7.5 is already installed.
Retart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Then try the App Store.

Would someone with an iPhone/iPod touch please be kind enough to post some screenshots of the Apple Store app.
I've been googling for some screenshots, but only a limited selection are available and they are not at actual size.
Here are the screens I need:
Main front screen
Product Page (if possible of more than one product)
Photogallery on a product page
Information section on a product page
Category page
If possible, if the full content of each page could be posted.
The Apple store app no longer works on my iPod touch, otherwise I could do it myself.

Try downloading and reinstalling the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 updater. It just may reinstall App Store for you.

My iTunes says I owe $5.25 for songs that I have already paid for and am not going to pay for again but I want to get some apps from the store and now there's a hold on my account. Who do I talk to get the hold taken off

You're right, it would have been covered under warranty. But because of the user damage, chances are there's a 200-something dollar fee . If you explain to them that it had a defect previously, they might replace it for you at no charge. **MIGHT**. But they would have to believe that it had a defect previously.
