EqP fades happening by default instead of x-fade

I'M SUDDENLY HAVING TROUBLE WITH X-FADES. UP TIL NOW, WHEN I OVERLAPPED 2 REGIONS THEY'D ALWAYS GONE AUTOMATICALLY INTO X-FADE, BUT NOW BY DEFAULT LOGIC IS USING LONG EQP FADES INSTEAD, WHICH SOUND AWFUL. EVEN AFTER I RESET THEM TO X-FADES, THE EQP FADE SEEMS TO RE-APPEAR. MOST ANNOYING AND TIME-CONSUMING! THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY PREFERENCE FOR THIS, AND IT WASN'T HAPPENING A WEEK AGO. HAVE I DONE SOMETHING WIERD?

Your default mail program is set in Mail->Preferences->General. Choose which program you want from the drop-down menu, then quit Mail and restart it.
Of course, you'd be helping yourself if you deleted Entourage or at least removed all your account information from it, so that if you ever launched it by accident, it would not be able to send or receive email.

  • How to make lightroom 5 default instead of old version 3

How do you make LIGHTROOM 5 default instead of old version 3?

    denone42 wrote:

I've heard of this, but never experienced it. For the post part, Lr opens catalogs not photos - dunno if being registered to open photos was a little mistake or on purpose..
One thing I do know, there was a time when opening a photo with Lightroom would sometimes result in the inability to open Lightroom ever again (without some "hacking"), because it tried to open the photo as a catalog, which made it very confused and unhappy.
My guess is: Adobe no longer supports opening photos with Lightroom (and so Lightroom 5 did not register itself to do that when installed, and so you have an old and now obsolete association), even if at one point it did - but I could be wrong.
Sorry I can't be more help - maybe somebody else will be able to offer more insight and/or a solution.
UPDATE: One thing that might help (if you can't get Lr to open photos how you want) - open catalog instead, then drag those photos into Lr library grid.
    Good luck,

  • How do I change the download behavior so that the "save as" radio button is selected by default instead of "open with" in the download window?

For most file types whose download behavior is set to "always ask" the "save as" option is selected by default in the download window. However, for a few others the "open with" option is selected instead.
Note that Firefox is not automatically opening some files instead of saving them. I still get to choose between saving or opening them, but certain file types start with "open" selected whereas for others "save" is the default.
What I'm looking for is a way to change all file types to default to "save as" in the download window.

              to deploy.>
Myself and lot of other people in my team are getting this error
when using beans in a cluster.
I am getting this error consistently whenever I make some code
changes in my bean class (not interface changes) and redeploy it
and try to lookup through a stand-alone client.
The only way I could find to overcome this problem is:
              1) edit config.xml to remove the Application element completely
              corresponding to the bean
              2) remove jar files from the applications directory
              3) re-deploy and run the client again.
              Thanks a lot
              Kiran Ganuthula

Partly it could be WLS problem also. Under any circumstances default webapp should be able
to deploy. I have seen somebody else also reported the same problem. The current problem is
if you delete anything from apps dir, the corresponding entry is not being deleted from config.xml
So next time when you boot the server, it tries to deploy the webapp and eventually it fails.
I 'm not sure if this is the situation in your case.
In anycase somehow Targets tag is not being picking up. That's why i asked you add
"WebServers" tag. I think we have done some major changes in SP1, to make sure that
default webapp deploys all the times.
If you still have problems, post it to servlet or management group, we will discuss there.

  • Sugestion: set nouveau as default instead of nv

I think this is the best place to post this...
One of my arch setups is installed on an usb pen and I use it on different systems.
It works fine except one thing: the nouveau driver doesn't load without a xorg.conf.d/20-nouveau.conf file like this (from archwiki - nouveau)
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "n"
    Driver "nouveau"
    EndSection
... and when I have that file, any other drivers fail to load (on intel systems for example) so I have to manualy add or remove that file when I'm on a nvidia or non-nvidia system.
Someone told me that I could use this gentoo patch
That looks harmless... xorg tries to load nouveau and then tries the other alternatives instead of defaulting to nv. Solves the problem and makes nouveau working without a xorg.conf file...
Could this be submited to the current xorg packages?

That's a feature request - post it in the bugtracker. The devs are unlikely to see it here.
As a general rule, Arch does not apply patches unless they have been accepted by the relevant upstream developers, so it would be advisable to check that before posting.

  • Make 32 bit Photoshop CS4 the default instead of 64 bit?

It was a bit of a surprise to find that none of my 32-bit plugins would work with Photoshop CS4 x64. Most seem to work fine in the 32-bit version of PS though. Is there a way to make the 32-bit version launch by default from Bridge or when opening a PSD file instead of the 64-bit version?

I encountered this issue today as well when I installed Photoshop CS5, and discovered that my usual plugins do not work properly.
They did work properly while running in 32 bit mode.
Windows 7's extension definition sucks, that's why I rather work with the registry.
So after a bit tweaking, I think I finally cracked it.
The "Final Product" (if you will ) is two reg files for toggling 32 and 64 bit modes.
A word of caution: This is what worked on MY machine (Windows 7 64 Bit) and I cannot gurrantee it would work on other computers, nor do I take responsibility for any damage that my occur. We are playing with the Registry here, so BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL.
These codes assume Photoshop is installed in the default location. If you've altered it, make sure to modify the files accordingly first.
Before attempting to use I recommend to create a restore point, just in case something may go wrong.
    Here we go:
To switch to 32 bit mode, open a blank notepad page, paste the below code and save it as "fix.reg" (NOT TXT). After saving, activate it and you're good to go.
    32 Bit Mode
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe]
    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell]
    "FriendlyCache"="Adobe Photoshop"

After I installed GIMP, whenever I open an image file, from firefox download window, or nautilus, it is opened by GIMP, but I need to change the default to EOG, I checked /usr/share/applications/gimp.deskop eog.desktop, both have several image type in mime.. section, can I just delete gimp.desktop 's mime section to make it work?
    Thanks!

Thanks a lot! I just find another solution, edit  /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache as root and reorder mime type such like:
    audio/x-wav=mplayer.desktop;totem.desktop
    into:
    audio/x-wav=totem.desktop;mplayer.desktop
so the first preferred application used to open wav file is totem instead of mplayer

  • CSV files at the KM are downloaded as xls by default instead of csv

    Hello,
I have created a Filesystem Repository manager to point to a folder on the server.
This folder contains csv files and I can see these files through the KM and in the access link of the document's properties as csv's.
The problem is that when I click to download any csv file, the file name in the "File Download" window defaults to xls. I than need to add the csv extension manually or else it will save it as xls.
I have already created a csv mime type.
It might be a browser/client/excel related issue but on the other hand it is behaving OK when I download csv files from web sites over the internet and it happens to all clients so I really can't think of something in the client/browser/excel direction...
    Any ideas...?

    Hello,
This is maybe because of the file association between excel and cvs files, but this is not because of the portal, but because of Windows settings. IE get his settings from windows, and Firefox doesn't that is probably why it's working with FF but not IE.
Open any explorer window in Windows, and select : Tools > Folder options... > Files types, and try to remove the file association between Excel and .csv
I am not sure this is the cause of your problem, but it could be.
    Hope this helps.
    Best regards,
    Julien.
