Equium A100-337: What model do I have to choose to download drivers?

Hi,
can anyone tell me which set of drivers to choose for the A100-337 model when I get to the drop down box which gives me the choice between PSAA4 or PSAAB?
Obviuosly I want to download the most up to date versions.

Hi
The serial number of the Equium A100-337 starts with PSAAQE.
You can find the number at the bottom of the unit
I dont know why your notebook model is not listed in the driver form but you could check the other drivers for PSAA4 and PSAAB.
Maybe single drivers will run.

  • Equium A100-337: bad Vista performance - should I upgrade to XP?

I have a brand new Equium A100-337 which came with Vista as standard.
No games work properly (yes I've tried the emulator). The sound is dreadful and DVD's are virtually inaudible. The firewall switches itself off or crashes constantly. I keep on getting the message that Toshiba flash cards arent working - I don't even know what they are!
    Is all this normal?
Would the XP installation solve my problems?

    Hi
How about RAM upgrade. According to specification this notebook model is delivered with 512 MB of RAM. Very interesting is that graphic card is shared one and use RAM for graphic operations. I can imagine that performance is not the best one.
This notebook model can handle with 4GB of RAM and I recommend you to upgrade RAM with additional 1GB module.
I am pretty sure the performance will be much better. 512 MB is for me definitely not enough. The same is with WXP when unit has 256MB RAM only.

  • What model do I have?

I'm helping a less-technical friend with an issue on her older Thinkpad, which she was given by a boss.  Before I ask any specific questions though, I obviously need to know which model she has so that I can post to the right category. I'm not very familiar with Thinkpads myself so forgive my questions. (I have looked in the FAQ but didn't see what I need there.)
I asked her the model number and she found this on the computer:
    Type 2373 - 7CU S/N [deleted for privacy]
I googled a bit but Type 2373 does not appear to be a model number because I've found T40, T41 and T42 (at least) that all indicate Type 2373. T40, T41 and T42 are model numbers, right? How do I get the model number from the information I've provided? Or do I need more information, like a serial number? I'll be seeing her tomorrow and can gather anything I need at that point. She says the laptop has an IBM logo, not a Lenovo logo, so I assume this is a fairly old model, dating back before IBM sold off its PC hardware business.
Also, may I suggest that determining what model you have should be added to the FAQ? It seems like a very fundamental thing that you absolutely have to know to get any further information.
Also, may I request that this post NOT be moved to a more appropriate place (if there is one) until I've had a chance to read the answer to my question, otherwise I may not find it. I'll acknowledge the answer when I see it so you know it's safe to move it to the proper place.

  • What models of ipad have ios7 or 8

Our son is disabled.  Ios 7 and 8 have a feature built in called apple's switch control that will allow disabled people to use their devices with a switch to maneuver around the screens.  Anyway we are looking at buying a used IPad (not mini) and want to know what is the 1st Ipad that came out with IOS 7?  Also if we purchase a used one and it is not IOS7 can any ipad be upgraded to IOS 7 or 8 and what size memory should we get to accomplish this.  Totally new to Apple world so please bear with us.  Thank you need wifi but not cellular.  Thanks.

So let's see if I have these right?
Ipad Air is the 1st Ipad to come out with IOS 7 installed
That and the iPad Mini 2. Came preloaded with iOS 7
If I do buy any Ipad below that e.g., 4th or 3rd gen it will have a previous version of ios?
Maybe, maybe not. It may have been updated to a current version or not. Depends on the original owner really. But you can Ask directly.  If it was not updated, you can update it yourself.
What IOS version was preinstalled on 4th and 3rd?
    3rd had 5.1 4th had 6.0
Or maybe if i find a 3 or 4 the previous user could have installed ios 7 or 8 already?
Yes. Very likely. And even if they did not you can update yourself.
How hard is it to upgrade to IOS 7 or 8 are there any glitches along the way more than one generation to the next? e.g., harder to upgrade a gen 3 than a gen 4?
There should be no issues updating. unless you get an iPad 2 with iOs 3 or 4, in which case you would need to go through iTunes on a computer to update, the update should be directly and without any issues to iOS 8 over Wifi.  To update all you do is Tap the update button in Settings->General->Software Update And follow the prompts.   If Doing it through iTunes on a Computer you do the same thing but in iTunes instead of on the iPad itself.

and yes I was reading other threads regarding the problem with buying a used one and the previous owner not getting it out of their user ID . . . what question should I ask the previous owner before buying a used one?
The first thing to ask is if it has been removed from iCloud and has been restored.  As confirmation you can ask for is a picture of the iPad turned on.  If its not in the following screen, it has not been correctly removed from the account and restored.
Do not buy an iPad that is at the Home Screen or any other screen.
It must be on the Hello screen. You can also request the iPad's serial number and validate the Activation Lock status here:

Thanks this is helping very much.

  • HT201471 Is there another way to see what model iPad I have without prying it out of the case?

it seem to get an answer to my question, I must know the model of my iPad.  My iPad is encased in a protective unit that Sampson couldn't break and one  that I can't figure out how to remove. - and the Apple (so called) "support" site only gives pretty pictures for me to compare to my iPad.  And I'm supposed to conduct this comparison of pictures on the screen to the back of my iPad (that needs to be turned upside down!!!). And just how am I supposed to see the screen with the iPad turned over?!?  WAY TO GO, APPLE!  Surely there is a better way to find the model Information!   If one looks in Settings, one finds Everything about the iPad -Except the model!  Aargh!  Does Anyone know of a better way to discover the iPad model?

FROM Chrley's Mom (because I dont know how to "post back" as one responder requested  OK!  I found it!  Now, why didn't the Apple "support" site say that?!?  Why wasn't it on the Apple "support" site Instead of those idiot pictures.  Does Apple think we have lost the ability to read and need "picto-nary" instructions?!?   Aargh!
NOW, you folk have been very helpful, so maybe you can help me with the original reason I went to Apple "support". ( I hope I'm not in the wrong "pew" for these there questions).
i updated my iPad and three things happened;  a blank gray panel now covers 1/3 of my iPad screen in the landscape view; I lost all my site Bookmarks and everything on my Reading List!  So,
1). How do I get rid of that empty gray panel?  It covers over whatever is showing in the landscape view but disappears in the portrait view.  And it only appears when I'm using Safari to view the Internet.
2). is there a way I can retrieve my site Bookmarks?
3). and my Reading List?  (No, the iPad isn't synced to a Mac - because I don't use a Mac)

  • Equium A100-337 - can I manage 2jacks on the front?

I have 2 jackplugs on the front of this laptop one is for mic/line in and the other is headphone.
As i am a Dj i need 2 stereo outputs (one for headphone the other to the amp) so i can listen to tracks whilst playing songs.
on my other computer when i plug a jack into the front panel it asks me what i want it to be i.e. speaker rear, speaker front.
My question is: Is there anyway of managing the 2 jacks on the front of the laptop instead of mic in & headphones i would like stereo LR rear & stereo LR front???

    Hi DJ
As far as I know something like this is not possible. In my opinion you should visit some specialized PC store and talk with dealers. I am pretty sure you can buy some external device that allows something like this. Perhaps there is PCMCIA solution.
When you have some time go to search option and use DJ as searching term. If I am remembering well few DJs have already wrote here. Maybe you will find some useful info for doing your job easier.
    Bye and good luck!

  • On Equium A100-337 WLAN connection security screen is not displayed correctly

My computer use to connect to a specific wireless network without any problems automatically. However, now when trying to connect to the same network, the security key screen I am presented with is not the correct type. Instead of two lines of encryption there is only one. When I enter the correct password I get a message to say I am connected to the network but cannot access the Internet. The wireless router is working fine.
Do I need to reset something on my computer or change a setting?

    Hi
May I ask what wireless configuration tool do you use???
Did you try to refresh or to reconfigure the WLan profile on the router and on the notebook?
Try this. Disable the encryption on router and try to connect without the security settings. If it will work you can set the encryption settings back.
You could also try to reinstall the WLan driver.
By the way; did you use any firewalls??? Sometimes enabled firewall could has a bad influence on the WLan or internet connectivity.
