Equium A300D: Camera Software shows last picture I took 6 months ago

Hi,
Just started using the built in camera on my Equium A300D after a long break (6 months). The software seems to run fine I can see whatever, is in front of the camera in preview and all seems right. However, when I press the snapshot button it shows the last picture I took 6 months ago. The video function works fine!
I have uninstalled the software and installed the latest version but the problem remains.
Any ideas?
Ron

Hi
Sorry but I really dont understand your problem.
The cam shows the last picture which your took several month ago. And????
It this a problem????
I mean the picture has been saved up in the folder somewhere on the HDD and therefore you can see the pictures I assume the pictures have not been deleted and therefore they are still available.
This is not a problem buddy. Take a look in the webcam folder and deleted the pictures easy. Isnt it???

  • I have two iphones and the two got sync'd contacts were deleted from 1 phone and now were deleted from other via wireless on icloud the last back up was 2 months ago how do i retrieve and reinstall that backup? or can I do this from an old icloud back up

Hi this is my first time using this service and I am having a huge problem with two of my iphones. I have two phones that were sync'd accidently on itunes and both were sync'd to icloud too apparently. The one phone then deleted some of the contacts - now both phones have lost those contacts. What would be the steps to get the phone contacts (not from the computer) back on one of the iphones. it does show the phone was backed up over two months ago - can I restore to that back up and how? Any help would be very appreciated <")))><

Please read before going through with this procedure.
If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.
    Thank you for choosing Apple.

Have you tried upating the latest version of the Webcam driver from the support and driver download page on www.hp.com? Also try updating the BIOS on the unit.

  • Can a digital camera (still) show a picture on the computer monitor?

Is there a way to put the digital camera picture on your monitor prior to snapping the picture and downloading it to the computer? I need to take pictures of machinery in odd places that I cannot get my head behind the camera to see how the framing is. I was hoping to be able to make it work like on a TV screen. The iMac monitor is so much clearer.

Not that I'm aware of. Will your camera output to a TV monitor through the viewfinder? If so then I guess you could but you'd need something that would either be Firewire or USB to interface from your cameras' output to the iMac. That's not really a problem but it's rather expensive just to do what you want.
Some cameras do support "remote control" though which is more along the lines of what your wanting. Problem with that is your camera would have to support it and it's usually expensive D-SLR's that photographers use in situations like yours or where they need a "preview" before shooting.

  • Why has it been so long since any updates to OS 10.6? My last update was over two months ago.

why has it been so long since any updates to OS 10.6? My last update was in June. - Steve

Since my previous message, there has been a Java update for Snow Leopard (at the same time as one for Lion and Mountain Lion), and its main purpose was to fix security issues. That at least shows Apple has not completely stopped doing Snow Leopard updates.
We still don't know what is happening with general security updates for Snow Leopard, and won't until Lion gets its next general security update, or if there is a minor version update for Lion which includes security fixes.
The one obvious missing update so far is Safari: when Safari 6 was released for Lion, it included security fixes, but there has been no corresponding Safari update for Snow Leopard. That suggests either a delay in supplying a Snow Leopard update for Snow Leopard, or that Snow Leopard updates are starting to wind down.

    1. Update IOS of new iPad to 7.0.4
    2. Restore iCloud backup to new iPad after the update.

  • LR5.7 on Mac 10.7.5. I was importing DNG and JPG from an SD card. After import, several of the DNGs showed old photos which I imported months ago, but the JPG's were correct.

Using LR5.7 on Mac 10.7.5. I was importing DNG and JPG from an SD card. After importing, a few of the DNG images were old photos I had imported months ago, but the matching JPG's were correct new imports. The metadata was correct for the new imports. I tried a new SD card and it happened again. ???

it appears the actual image is probably in place, but the *preview* is incorrect.  clicking on the image to zoom in causes (the normal) "Loading...", followed by a zoomed in view of the *correct* image.  zooming back out gives the normal view of the correct image.  (*very* good to know!)

  • NEW MACBOOK...Camera not showing picture

Camera was showing my picture on purchase, but now not.
    Software problem?
I have updated my mac softwares...operating system is now Tiger 4.7...and have Apperture....
    Please help me.

I don't know what was missing from the first delta (software update of non-combo updater) for 10.4.7 : http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2633936 , it's not a known issue w/ that update, but if turning off your machine or the normal resets (pram, PMU) don't work then trying the combo update or the new delta might do something. Kinda doubt it, but if all else fails it's worth a shot. Green lines in video are usually a sign of a bad connector or not enough power.
    Good Luck,

  • Raw files for nikon d810 not showing a picture in preview. Have  camera raw plug in 8.6.0.250 . File will open in raw but no picture ahead of time.

Raw files for Nikon D810 not showing a picture in preview for photoshop cs6 . Have camera raw plugin 8.6.0.250  File will open in ACR and process but no picture before opening raw file.

Are you referencing Apple's Preview application or the Preview panel in Bridge?  Huge difference.
Try purging the cache for the offending folder(s) through the Tools menu in Bridge.

  • I created an album and have been showing it presentation style, ken burns effects etc. Now every time I try to re-run it it starts from the end, last picture first! Can't seem to be able to reverse it. Any clue anyone?

I created an album and have been showing it presentation style, ken burns effects etc. Now every time I try to re-run it it starts from the end, last picture first! Can't seem to be able to reverse it. Any clue anyone?

    First try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
    Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, reset iPhoto's preferences and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
Next, if necessary, continue with the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
