Equium M50: Which cable can I use to connect to TV?

I want to hook my computer up to my TV. I went into my local computer shop but they showed me about 5 different cables and I had no idea which one would work best or work at all. Can anybody advise me on which cable would work for my computer the Equium M50-192? Or can I even buy such a cable online?

The cable you need is S-Video however not all TV/Video equipment provide full S-Video support resulting in a black and white image. This minor issue can be resolved using a S-Video to Composite adapter such as one sold by Maplin at the sacrifice of quality

Equium M50 - What battery can I use?

Having trouble identifying which battery i need for my equim m50 series.
My battery part nmbr is pa3399u -1brs.
On the toshiba website it lists a -2brs which toshiba have told me this would be fully compatable.
Another agent today told me that I need a pa3465u-1brs as the 3399 is discontinued.
Checking websites etc. the 3399 is still out there from various sites.
Can anyone tell me which battery i should be getting. My laptop is an Equim m50 range

I found this compatible battery:
PA3399U-1B*S - 10,8V - 4300mAh
Possibly this is an old part number and now the new battery was released with the newer part number.
To be honest you should trust the authorized service provider in your country. They should be able to order the supported and compatible battery from the Toshiba head stock.

if the dab in question have a 3.5mm minijack like the iphone then yeah that cable would work
but you can find one much much much cheaper then that price would would work just as good
also make sure the dab's connector is input and not output

I recently bought an iMac and I was wondering what kind of cable can I use to connect it to my Macbook Air so that I'll be able to transfer my files faster.
Any links to a website that has a picture or actually sells the appropriate cable would be greatly appreciated as I currently live Paris and communicating with store clerks is a mission in and of itself!

get the usb-ethernet adapter for the MBA and then an ethernet cable to attach the two computers. OR: create a computer to computer wireless airport connection so that the computers can access the N wireless network both are capable of but some routers are not. If the MBA is the more recent revision, you may have gotten the usb-ethernet adapter included in the package; otherwise, it can be purchased from the Apple Store. The ethernet cables are standard and can be obtained from any computer store. No need for anything special like crossover cables, macs connect directly with a standard cable.
I tried to transfer files quickly via a simple 802.11g wireless LAN I had set up via a router but it was so slow that I set up the c to c network via the menubar airport menu and was able to quickly copy and transfer files via the 802.11n that the airport hardware provides when something else does not interfere with the speed that the macs are capable of wirelessly.

After doing a bit more research, the 2010 iMacs do appear to have a third cable connecting to the hard drive, for the internal temp sensor. This would appear to be the block of 8 pins that are on almost all drives, but they are normally intended for jumpers. Unfortunately I was unable to find any documentation or specs that would indicate this pin block connects to the internal temp sensor on either standard (non-Apple) WD Black or Seagate 7200.12 drives.
I did find some info that may be of some use:

Various discussion threads I found through google searching indicated some people succeeded with installing an external temp sensor on the body of the drive.

Using time capsule model A1409 and trying to use it as only backup. Already have Verizon wireless router. Do not know which cable port to use in back of time capsule. And also it is asking for password. Have tried all of mine and it will not work.

I have a 2TB Timecapsule and really only use it for Time Machine backups. But the Wi-Fi side is used to sync my iPad at times.
Mine is wiredup thus;
Eth cable from iMac to modem (not the WAN port should you have one), then eth cable from modem to T/Cap in the WAN port (bottom port with an O sign above it)
I believe when its connected up you may have to set up a wireless network. Follow the instructions to set up Wi-Fi and Network
and then give it a password. The WiFi icon should appear in the menu bar where you can switch it on or off.
Its been sometime since I set it with the help of Apple Techs so I might be a bit rusty.

I have a problem with go_item.
I tried executing go_item() in triggers like key_next_item, pre_text_item, post_text_item & when_validate_item.
But none of them seemed to be working.
I searched for other possibilities in the site, where i found a solution of using trigger ' when_timer_expired ' with ' when_validate_item ' ,
but when i tried to create trigger, i did not find that trigger (when_timer_expired) in the list at all.
I'm using oracle form builder 6i.
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production.
A trigger with go_item() must be created when tab is pressed.
In which trigger can i use go_item() ??

If you have access to a digital video camera that has pass thru capability you can use it in lieu of the ADVC110. Plug the VCR into the camera and the camera into the Mac and import into iMovie.

Welcome to the Discussions.
It's more than just a cable you need.
To go from VHS to iMovie requires converting an analog video signal to digital.
Some miniDV cameras have an analog/digital pass through mode. If you have access to such a camera, that may be a solution.

As the other posters wrote in order to take a movie file and turn it into a DVD that can be played in standard DVD players you need a DVD authoring application. That you need a separate program to create the DVD is standard procedure and has been that way since the beginning. All Apple produce that can produce video files require an external authoring program. iMovie, iPhoto and Final Cut all do this.
One other thing I will comment on is your choice of output format. You will almost certainly be disappointed with the video quality of your finished DVD if you put a HD video on a SD DVD. Unless you plan to burn a bluray disk you will get a better quality video if you output as SD if you plan to burn to an SD disk.
