Equium P200 problem with WLAN networking

I have recently bought Equium P200-1ED.
When Im disconnected from wireless network the laptop cant reconnect itself and it cant see any networks available. I have to restart my laptop to connect again.
I have checked the settings and everything seems to be fine.
Can anyone help me please?

Can you use WLAN if you disable WLAN using FN+F8 key combination and enable it again?

  • Time Machine and "might be a problem with your network"

Hi! My Power Mac is from 2008, and I'm in the middle of replacing my hard drive. Here's a summary of what I've gone through, including various trouble shooting...
OK, the hard drive dies (all of which I wrote about in an earlier thread and, I think, not very relevant for this thread). While waiting to buy my replacement, I created an external bootable drive, hooked up via FW800. I created a new User Account, and then I used the Migration Assistant to bring in all the user settings, files, etc, from my Time Machine. It took many hours and and during the stage when it was transferring files, it gave me the prompt: "There might be a problem with your network. The other Mac is not responding. Make sure that all of your network devices are connected and turned on. Also, make sure that your Ethernet cables are still connected properly to your computer and to the network, or if using AirPort, that the base station is in range and turned on." After clicking "Continue" got me nowhere, I clicked Cancel, and it was a very incomplete migration [no apps, no files]. I didn't sweat this since this external drive is a temporary solution anyway.
Tonight I came home with the new internal drive, installed it, installed Leopard, and began the Setup Assistant. I got the same prompt as last night. NOTE: This time with Setup Assistant; last night was with Migration Assistant.
I notice from reviewing the boards that this Time Machine glitch seemed to happen a few years ago, in Leopard, and maybe hasn't happened since. But I haven't read a thread with a solution. (Maybe I missed it?)
A few things come to mind:
    1. Could there be an issue with the fact that the computer is only 10.5 and many of the files/apps may have been installed when I was running 10.5.8? I'm just tossing that out there. For instance, what if I set up an initial User account, then updated the software to 10.5 and THEN used Migration Assistant to bring in the older account?
    2. Soon, since I'm reinstalling Leopard, I'll get the prompt to use Setup Assistant, and this time I'll just select account settings and apps. I'll bring in the files manually, later. Since the progress window seems to get hung up during the file-transferring stage, maybe I'll have better luck if I skip that.
If anyone has any suggestions, man, I'd be way grateful!
    Thanks!

"try trashing the timemachine.plist in your original user's Library>Preferences."
I didn't even get to that step. Here's what happened.
I went back to my original Admin account (the one I restored via Setup Assistant, from my Time Machine backup), and ran Migration Assistant again. I selected Applications only and when it gave me a prompt about the account name already existing. So, I created a new account name (TEMP 1, I called it).
All of my applications were restored.
Next, I tried it with all the files and folders. It didn't give me the duplicate name prompt this time. It copied all my flles and folders over.
Was it perfect? Well, a lot of the apps need some fresh registration and some upgrading, but I suppose that's to be expected. Or is it?
While I feel like this problem is in my rear-view mirror, I'm still interested in your suggestons for a Time Machine altenative.
    Thanks again for your advice!

    Hello, Toro Silva.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The steps in the section labeled Unable to activate FaceTime or iMessage with phone number and Apple ID after waiting 24 hours (iPhone only) of the article below, should help resolve the issue.  Make sure to create a current backup prior to processing these steps.

  • Is there problems with the network/signal in TA3 Taunton area

Is there problems with the network/signal in the TA3 Taunton area I have not had a signal all day and then to make contact with one of my children regarding school pick up.

Unfortunately so. Spoke to EE today and the service may take up to 72 hours to get back to normal - which is unbelievable given how much we use our phones for day to day life! As they cannot do anything for us, to thank us for our patience they are asking us to monitor when the service resumes and get back to them (no doubt on their £ per min line) and let them know and they’ll credit us for the down time. Just Brilliant!!

    Hi,
What version of the OS did you upgrade from ?
Anything before OS X 10.8.2 may have an issue if the Logic/Mother board has been replaced and the Serial Number not "flashed" back to it.
In the Apple Icon menu use the About this Mac item.
In the new panel click twice on the line that tells you the current OS level
It will change to the Build number (and alternative count to the OS versions) and then the Serial Number.
If it is missing you need to get it replaced.
(It is supposed to be done on Repair or Refurbishment).
An Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider as the best choices.
There are apps you can download (They are Mac Model specific) but needs careful typing as it is a once only trip.

  • Equium P200: sometimes looses WLan connection

    Hi there
Looking for help, my Equium P200 sometimes looses connection to the net. My partners do not!
Also when in other peoples it losses signal so I know its the laptop, its very intermittent , it can go for months and nothing then it can do it twice in one night!
When it does happen I run the off line help it says that there is nothing wrong with the pc! It says there is no networks to connect to despite i know there is any ideas
I think its a Atheros or something similar. Sorry so vauge

    Hi
You could try to update the WLan driver in most cases this helps
The BIOS update would be also advisable if a newer BIOS version is available on the Toshiba European driver page.
Sometimes something like that happens to me if it happens I click right on the WLan icon in the taskbar and choose repair.
Mostly this helps to get the WLan back

  • Problem with wlan sticks module, not able to write to disk any more

    Hello everybody,
when I booted my PC today, a strange and some sort of severe problem occurred concerning my wlan stick(s) that I think, I'm not able to solve without your help. I searched for a solution but it didn't seem that somebody else has had a similar problem before.
    Here is the description:
I have two wlan sticks (but I do not use both of them nor are they both plugged in at the same time), and both happen to malfunction since today. My "main" stick (used most of the time) is a BigTec Wireless 11N Adapter with a Realtek chipset. My second one (only used to solve problems with the other stick) is a Fritz! WLAN USB Stick (to be used with ndiswrapper).
After bootup, which makes no problems at all, my "main" wlan stick is not able to connect to the network. When I run wicd-curses (I use wicd as network manager), the virtual terminal freezes (when I use urxvt under openbox to run wicd-curses, only the window freezes). After one minute, a message appears that says something about a dbus problem but I am not able to read it because of the screen clears. Then I'm able to use the terminal again, but (and this is the very, very strange about this) when I run any program that tries to write on my disk it stucks, so I can't cancel it with ctrl-c nor can I kill the process. Wicd-curses, ifconfig or iwconfig also crash after entering the command and show the same behavior. At this point, my wlan stick does not show any sign of being plugged in (normally it blinks...).
My second stick makes the computer crash: After a few moments a stacktrace is shown (like when a kernel panic occurs), saying something about "stack being overrun". But I can't find the message in the log files so it is difficult to post it.
When I tried to figure out a solution, I saw in pacman.log, that yesterday udev and hwdetect were updated... But also downgrading all the packages that were updated yesterday did not solve the problem!
I'll post now the last lines of a few logs here (but nothing concerning the ndiswrapper stick, else it would be too disturbing), I hope they help you at helping me!

P.S.: Excuse all the mistakes I made because of being new here, please!

This seems to be a problem with r8712u on all 3.2.x and 3.3-rc kernels on all distros.  I've had it for weeks on Gentoo, Arch, and several other distros.
If you are running a 3.2.x kernel, this is almost definitely the problem.  All 3.1 kernels don't do this.
I posted a temporary work-around on the Arch bugzilla, and Larry Finger (kernel dev with wireless) is currently working on it (a patch).
In the meantime, If you compile your own kernels, you can get 3.2.x's to work normally- see my comment here for more details.   https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/27996
Top of page doesn't say r8712u, but it's the same problem, and after the first 2-3 comments it deals with r8712u specifically.
There is also info on the Gentoo forum 3.2 kernel quirks thread, towards the bottom of Page 1:  http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-901702.html

  • Problem with wifi network.

I've had my macbook pro for a little under a month and have had no problems with it up until this weekend. The problem is this; whenever I try to log onto a wifi network, the computer says that I'm connected but when I go to open Safari it says that I'm not connected to the internet. I've run a network diagnostic and it says that nothing appears to be wrong with the connection. Usually if I turn off my wifi and turn it back on I can get my connection to work but it usually takes a few tries. I've had the same issue both at my house and my parents' so the issue seems to be with my computer versus with a specific wifi network...any suggestions?

    System Preferences > Network > WiFi/Airport > ( Assist me ) ...
... only this time, choose Set up again from scratch, including a new Location and answer the questions to set everything up again.

  • Problem with carrier network

I have a problem with mi iPhone 5s 64 Gb, time to time The carrier network still looking for network and some times it tooks until 2 minutes to find the net, im compare with friends to understand if this is a general problem with the carrier servíce but 1) some of them have the same phone without a problem using the same carrier, and 2) the must funny thing is that im working with the carrier company, so im really angry with this, i want to change my phone, i have images with the problem because this is really too much.
Are you going to help me? Or do i need to change mi phone!!!!!!!

    This is just annoying!
Same thing in Germany! Updated my Iphone 6 (128gb) to Ios 8.0.1 late in the evening. Couldn´t restore it because of the traffic on Apple´s Server.
Now I´m sitting at work with my Ipod (lol) and just mentioned that even the Artwork of Movies or Music is lost. Just grey boxes.
    This is not Apple anymore!!!
Is this the "just one more thing"?! --> Next time I will think twice before buying some stuff of apple!!

  • Problem with Wlan Wizard

I have an N85. Sometimes when I want to connect to Wlan network through Wlan Wizard , my device becomes restarted. Please help me

    Hi,Try this
Wireless LAN connection problem can be cause by a firmware failure and can be easily be fix by restoring, updating  the phones firmware again. But after doing any firmware repair and the problem still exists the problem may certainly lies on the hardware components failures.Try updating your phone

  • Problems with WiFi network connectivity post 2.1 upgrade

Have been having problems with WiFi connectivity since installing the 2.1 upgrade. When attempting to view some websites I get a "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" message. The same addresses can be resolved from my iMac at the the same time. Other websites don't have problems. Funnily enough www.apple.com is one of the effected sites.
I can also only sporadically gain access to the App store & the iTunes store from the device. I mostly get a message stating - "Cannot connect to iTunes store".
I am connecting through a WPA encrypted access point. I have tried restoring the device, resetting network settings, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this? After work tonight I will temporarily set my access point to WEP, just to see if the problem may be related to WPA. I have read that the iPod touch is effected by this.
    Thanks,
    Matt

No problem. The iPhone uses lower power on the WiFi transceiver to save the battery. It won't have the 50 meter range that one might see for other devices. As long as it works reliably when it is closer to the access point it is working normally.

  • Problem with wlan connection

    Hi everybody!
I installed a new wlan router yesterday. I can access my wlan with all devices (laptops, iphone 3GS...) and also with my new Iphone 4S. But the problem with my 4S is that I can use the internet for some time and then suddenly not anymore. I can't open any webpages nor use apps which require internet connection.
And sometimes nothing works (webpages don't load, facebook doesn't refresh...) except for Whatsapp.
When it doesn't work anymore I can disconnect from my wlan and then connect again and then it works. But only for some time again.....
Can somebody help me with my problem?
    Thanks

if you've got wpa2 and strange characters in your wlan password change then to numbers!

  • Lion: big problems with the network!

Since updating to Lion, I am experiencing difficulties with the network. My Kyocera task alfa 2500 cannot communicate properly with the Mac: it does print but cannot send scan to the Mac, it is just impossible for the printer/scanner to find the Mac. I hear it could be a problem with FTP which is not supported by the new OS Lion. How can I solve the problem?? Or is Apple going to resolve this problem????

Well, the problem relates to the Rosetta program eliminated by Apple in the Lion OS. When you try to rum the KM Scan to Mac.app you get:
"You can't open the application KM Scan to
    Mac.app because PowerPC applications
    are no longer supported."
So, I guess we (I encountered the same problem) will either have to wait out Kyocera-Mita for a scanner driver app, attempt write a new KM Scan to Mac.app for the Intel Macs; wait for somebody else to WRITE a new KM Scan to Mac.app for Intel Macs or just ***** about it.
    Not a rosey situation.
