I have a iphone 4 for my daughter, but now i hange get her a new one IPHONE 4S . But when i want to erase her IPHONE4 , it needs my password for icloud.
By the way , i have forgotten my password, so i send to iforgot . But mainly my previous email address was my previous network supplier, so ow can i get the reset password from my email network provider. This case have been waste me for over 3 weeks, i go to your shop locate in Hong Kong Festival Walk, no ones can help . So i send a email to icloud support , but yours reply me to ask for customer service. What a shame on Apple, i feel no help on me. How can i get back a reset password from my previous network provider. If you can help just let me know, my wrong email address: [email protected] and my new service provider email : [email protected]

Thank you for your help,it definitely can"t help . When I follow the step u suggest , it always show a message turn off your [email protected] . Which as I mention this email address was my previous network provider,I feel disappointed on Apple in this case. Main reason , that's mean I can"t change any service provider if I use Apple.
Account of iCloud information in my old iPhone cannot delete , so it means I can"t sell the old phone to the second market , I think my whole family will not consider to change any update Apple product anymore.

I have a problem with my iPhone, which is further compounded by being out to sea in the Arabian Gulf, so no internet access. Anyways, my phone was acting up, and I read somewhere that if you erase all the setting it would fix it. My phone was being read on itunes on my computer as just 'iPhone' and wouldn't let me change anything, so the restore phone that way was out. Also, after it nuked, I gave it to a buddy of mine here on the ship, and he tried whatever tricks it could do with a mac. He gave it back to me unsuccessful. I updated my itunes to itunes 9 or whatever the new one is. So pretty much, when I turn my phone on, it is stuck at the opening screen with the little apple, until is resets and then does it all over again. If you plug it into a computer, it doesn't realize anything is plugged in. I am lost as to what to do with it, other than throw it over the side. Hopefully someone know what to do here. Thank you.

You should reset your iPhone,
Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.

Unfortunately yes, though technology would never move on if it kept to older standards and did not strive to do more.
The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

An iPhone 3GS is too old to update to the very latest iOS and you will never be able to use apps that are compatible. The phone is just too old now in technology terms and the app makers have all moved on, so it's time to get a new phone.
Ideally, perhaps get an iPhone 4s or if you can afford it, an iPhone 5s or 5c which are the newest models.

Reset all settings and data

I reset my ipod touch 2G 8gb with the reset all settings and data option.
Now all my ipod does is is display the apple logo and loading circle for a few minutes, then seems to shut off then turn back on and repeats over and over and over. I set it to recovery mode, and itunes recognizes it, but when i update it, it finishes the download, then tells me that the connection timed out, and removes the download from the list.
I've tried everything i can find to no avail. Can someone help me?

Something has gone wrong, on an iPhone 4S the erase all operation should be almost instantaneous.
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select "new".

Then as I said you can do an Erase All Content and Settings which will wipe the phone. Completely. In order to add a game from your iTunes you will have to activate the iPhone with your Apple ID and then sync the game. You don't have to sync anything else. But you will need to sell the phone with your Apple ID on it.

Restored all settings and data to set up again

i have restored all the settings and data then entered my apple id to set up again but it says again and again multiple accounts have been activated on this iphone.
so do i need create new one apple id to set up my iphone 4S with itunes, icloud services.
if the current id is getting this error to set up iphone then how should i get my data which is purchased on the current id or how to troubleshoot with this, or how i would get it through to connecting with itunes.
i still get this error when being logged in to set up all this.

the issue may be the iphone itself...ios devices has a limit of how many apple ids it can be associated with in its lifetime...before creating a new one i would call Apple so they can check and see in their system..becuase if thats the case creating a new apple id wont help

Have you checked the Mute switch on the left side above the volume buttons? And tried raising the volume with the buttons?

I accidentally erase all settings and content.

Whilst the iPhone is connected to iTunes hold down both home and sleep buttons are the same time. The hold down the power button after and it should boot as usual
