Hi Ameenfromkuwait,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you would like to erase your information from your lost iPhone. I understand that you have already tried through iCloud and this is the way I would suggest as well. Please follow the steps outlined in the attached article to erase your device using iCloud. If this process does not work, please tell me where the error is.

• I need to get back individually erased photos and videos from my iMac with no backups to help. Please help

i need to get back individually erased photos and videos from my iMac with no backups to help. this is an attempt to consolidate all my data, new and old so I can uninstall Maverick and put Mountain Lion back on my iMac. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the files have been overwritten and you don't have a backup, they're gone.
If they have not been overwritten, then there are third-party apps (for example Techtool Pro 7 ) with data recovery functions that might be able to retrieve some or all of your files.
Backing up is good.

Depends on how do you want to do it. If you store your backups with iCloud - try in your iPad's preferences. If you keep your stuff on your computer - plug your iPad in and launch iTunes, the photos should be there.

The update alerts are fake, and are intended to dupe you into installing malware or disclosing private information so that your identity can be stolen.
You might get the alerts when visiting a website that has been hacked. Don't visit the site again. If applicable, notify the site administrator of the problem, but don't send email to an unknown party.
If you get the alerts when visiting more than one well-known website, such as Google, YouTube, or Facebook, then they may be the result of an attack on your router that has caused you to get false results from looking up the addresses of Internet servers. Requests sent to those sites are redirected to a server controlled by the attacker. It's possible, but less likely, that the DNS server used by your ISP has been attacked.
Back up all data.
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. If the fake update alerts stop, see below. Otherwise, ask for instructions.
The router's documentation should tell you how to reset it to the factory default state. Usually there's a pinhole switch somewhere in the back. It may be labeled "RESET." Insert the end of a straightened paper clip or a similar tool and press the button inside for perhaps 15 seconds, or as long as the instructions specify.
After resetting the router, quit the web browser and relaunch it while holding down the shift key. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Do the equivalent if you use another browser. Open the Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.
Then go through the router's initial setup procedure. I can't be specific, because it's different for every model. The key points are these:
1. Don't allow the router to be administered from the WAN (Internet) port, if it has that option. Most do.
2. Set a strong password to protect the router's settings: at least ten random upper- and lower-case letters and digits. Don't use the default password or any other that could be guessed. Save the password in your keychain. Any password that you can remember is weak.
3. If the router is wireless, or if you have a wireless access point on the network, use "WPA 2 Personal" security and set a different strong password to protect the network. If the router or access point doesn't support WPA 2, it's obsolete and must be replaced.
During the time the router was compromised, you were redirected to bogus websites. If you ever connected to a secure site and got a warning from your browser that the identity of the server could not be verified, and you dismissed that warning in order to log in, assume that your credentials for the site have been stolen and that the attacker has control of the account. This warning also applies to all websites on which you saw the fake update alerts.
Check the router manufacturer's website for a firmware update.
If you downloaded and installed what you thought was a software update, ask for instructions.

• Cutting, slicing and erasing PHOTOS and imported images in Illustrator cs4!

Hey everyone,
Could someone help me out?
I was wondering how would i do this, either of the following, cutting with scissor tool, slicing with knife or erasing photos with the erase tool which have just been brought into Illustrator? I know where the tools are located, but what are the steps, do i need to convert the image into a certain type of element/graphic, rasterize, use clipping mask ini some way etc?
Thanks heaps guys!

It's been a long time since this was posted but I wanted to throw an answer out there for anyone still looking to do this.
A couple easy ways that may work for your project is:
1. A Clipping Mask. Create a shape over the photo, any shape. Then select both the shape and the photo. Once the shape and the photo are selected go to Object> Clipping Mask> Make. This will crop your photo to what ever shape you created on top. It's an easy way to trim any unwanted parts of your photo.
2. With your photo selected, click the direct selection tool (the white arrow), and directly alter and resize your photo (without effecting the proportions) using the anchor points shown around your photo. Sometimes you have to click your object then click anywhere outside your object to see the anchor points.
Hope this helps!

• Accidentally erased photos and videos

My 3 year old daughter erased the videos and photos off of my husbands iphone 3GS. Can anyone help? They're not on itunes. Are they lost forever or is there a way to retrieve them?
The videos were ones recorded from the phone from a family vacation.

• The photos on my Picasa web album display as less sharp and detailed than the original photo or as displayed on Internet Explorer. Is there a work around?

Below is a link to one of my photos, if I toggle between this link on Firefox 3.6.9 and Internet Explorer I see a loss of clarity and detail on the Firefox browser. Look especially at the flower stamens to see this.
all the photos in this album have the problem.
Hi,
To restore your music, connect to your computer's iTunes and try the following settings.
Then hit the Apply button on bottom right. I find it best to select "sync only checked songs and videos" in the Options in Summary.
Good luck

A client gave me he's mini Ipad wifi as a gift.
It has all his information:photos, music, contacts, etc. I also took some photos that are in camera roll. I would like to erase everithing and make it totaly mine but don't want to loose my photos and his music which is very good. How should I do???

Resetting the settings will reset things like the wallpaper to the default. It wont remove the apps or music.
As the previous poster said, the apps and music will be tied to the previous owners Apple ID, you'll need the password to update the apps and remain authorized to play the music.
I would suggest taking your stuff off (the camera pictures) then erasing all content and settings so the iPad is like new. For privacy reasons alone I would erase the device. I realise you want to keep the music, but since you haven't paid for it (it was purchased under someone elses ID) then it isn't yours to keep, you'll need to write down the tracks and purchase them under your ID.

Restore them from where?
The pic sync is one way - computer to iPhone.
You should be storing all of your photos on your computer. Jut sync them to your iPhone.

So you want to move the iPhoto Library?
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

• I plugged in my iPhone to my computer and it erased all of my photos and videos, is there anyway I can get them back?

I plugged in my iPhone to my computer and it erased all of my photos and videos, is there anyway I can get them back?
The photos and videos were obviously taken before I plugged it in and I didn't get a chance to back it up. It just synced and erased everything once I plugged it in. The photos and videos were very important to me and it would mean everything to me to get them back. Please help.

There is more to the story than you're letting on. Possibly prompts from iTunes on your compute when you plugged in the phone that you didn't read before selecting an option...
The bottom line is, if they are not on your computer as a result of the sync, and you didn't back them up previously, then they are gone.
