Erase & Sync in Itunes

If you do an Erase & Sync with your iPhone in ITunes does it leave your messages and the operating system in tact.

I didn't mention it but that is an Erase & Sync with your iTunes Library.

When you say a new user ID, are you referring to your Apple ID that you use to make purchases in the iTunes Store, etc? Or are you talking about a new user account on the same Mac?

Look, Idk If Is Blocked Or Something But When I Restored The Phone I Mean Factory, First Says That The phone Need A Sim Card,then An Icloud Account And Then This " This Phone Was Registered With An Apple Account,So I Know The Email and The Password, when i Try To Log In Its Says Password or EMail Incorrect so I Asked My Friend,Because I Didn't Buy it From An Apple Store Or Somethin Like That, So MY Friend Told Me That He Erased The Account or He desactivated I Need Help Seriously :s

Question Concerning Erase and Sync and Itunes backups

Earlier this year my Computers Harddrive exploded without me making a backup. overtime I have moved all my new data to a new Itunes library and now after just about everything has been moved My Itunes is telling me that for my 5 devices, That I need to do an Erase and Sync. If I were to first backup my devices in Itunes would I be able to recover everything after the Erase and Sync ( Notes, Contacts, Remiders,ect.) Also a side question, If I restore my phone from a backup, are the data in the Apps Lost

If the songs are still on your computer then you'll have to add them back into iTunes and rebuild your library. Once you've done that you can reload your iPod. Pressing "Erase and Sync" when iTunes brings up the dialogue window asking whether you want to replace the songs on your iPod with the songs in this iTunes does exactly what it says. If you linked to an iTunes with only a few or completely different songs it will have erased your original iPod song list, iTunes itself must have been empty at that point as erase and sync erases the iPod not iTunes. If you lost your songs entirely from the computer and the iPod there are some data recovery programs on the market. I've no personal experience of them so I can't say how effective they are, here's an example: iPod Data RecoveryBuegie - Recovering Songs
None of the recovery programs are particularly cheap so you have to decide if in your particular circumstances it's worth it to get your songs back. It may be if you have a lot of purchased tracks which you would have to pay to download again. If they came primarily from your CDs then it's most likely not as you can re-rip them.

Your apps didn't get erased. They're still there in your iTunes Library, you just didn't tell iTunes to sync all Apps when you synced. You have to either choose the specific apps you want to sync or say sync all apps.

is there any important stuff saved to your emails? if so you could log on to your emails from a seperate device and back them up. im not sure what else you could do :/

How can I safely sync to iTunes on a friend's computer and restore my phone without erasing all his stuff on his iTunes/iPhone?

You don't need to sync it, you need to restore it.
Back it up to iCloud. Have your friend create a new user account for you on their Mac. Log into the Mac with that user account. Plug in the phone. Restore the phone using iTunes (this will upgrade it to the current version). Restore the phone from your iCloud backup during the setup process.

IPhone 5C not syncing to ITunes

I look at all discussions on apple support. I have erase the contents of my iPhone 5C twice and tried to syncs to iTunes. I have restarted my windows computer. I have restarted my phone. I have selected only for the iPhone not to backup on iCloud. The computer and iPhone are connected to the same internet. This is actually not working for my iPad as well. I have the newest version of iTunes. (11.1.4) please help.

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS.
