Erased all content from iPhone

Hi All experts out there - Over the weekend I deleted my wife's old iPhone from FindmyIphone - Well that's what I thought, turns out it was both her old and new phones. That would have been fine, we had most of our contacts, calendars, reminders and notes to the icloud, but not her photo's - we recently had a baby which she has now lost all. They were not in Photo steam, they were only in camera roll, are they all lost, also why does these photo's not go into Photo stream automatically or even every 24 hours?? It effectively made the phone think it was brand new, with not even language selected?
Need your thoughts please!!

She needs to sync her phone to HER account on HER computer with HER iTunes library. Syncing with YOUR iTunes library does exactly what you described. By design.

My wife's iPhone 3GS was synced to Windows 7 PC before it crashed, unfortunately i have no backup, so I need to restore all content from iPhone to either a Mac or PC... her iphone was last updated to OS v4.1... need to update it to OS v5..most important is I need to get contacts and photos off the iphone as well as purchased apps...........HELP!!

First, iTunes will only sync non-purchased media one direction: from computer to phone. To copy non-purchased media from your phone to your computer (such as ripped CDs, etc.) you will need to purchase 3rd party software such asTouch Copy. Why does it say its going to erase my iphone from my account when i try to erase all content from my phone?

I am trying to factory reset my Iphone5 by clicking settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings. After this is displays a window saying Password Required enter your Apple ID password to erase this IPhone and remove it from your account. I don't want to erase the phone from my account I just want to erase what's on it so old notifications will stop showing up.

The message means that you will be deleting your iCloud account from the device, and therefore removing it from Find My iPhone. Erasing all content and settings completely erases your phone, including all your accounts and settings. If you then set up your phone and sign back into your iCloud account, enabling Find My iPhone again (or restore your backup), it will then be associated with your account again.

No, you need to connect it to a computer running iTunes to manage the iPod's content (or erase it).

Synching ringtones erases all music from iPhone?

I know how to make ringtones, but when I click the "snych" button on the ringtones tab for my phone in iTunes, it warns me that synching ringtones will remove all music and video from the iPhone. I tried it anyway, and it did remove everything else that I had syched previously. Why would this happen and how can you avoid it?

Well, it makes absolutely no sense, but I discovered that I can synch ringtones by dragging and dropping from the ringtones section of the library to the iPhone when it's connected to the laptop. It seems dumb to have everything else erased from the iPhone if ringtones are synched from the iTunes screen, but synching ringtones (and other content in the library) with drag-and-drop works fine so I'll just do that from now on...

I sold an iphone 4, one years ago, and i performing a restore from itunes and update it to IOS6 (after restore, obviously i not do the backup).
I just forgot to remove my ID from apple Facetime and iMessage, but I changed the password for my account (i think the new guy have insert the personal ID).
I see that iPhone 4 have encryption mode during/after the restore, i can feel sure that my all sensible data are erased from this phone?

i was about to sell my iphone to someone, and i didn't want any of my personal info
to be accessible. so, i thought i was deleting all pics, etc... however it seems that
i deleted my entire operating system off iphone 3g.
all i see in itunes which is up to date, is that restore. i click restore, and i always
get an error that it couldn't restore my device.
how can i install a new ios and get all apps back like on a originally new iphone 3g?
i didn't know to backup info from phone to itunes, so now what do i do?

I can sign into all my Apple apps EXCEPT Facetime. It refuses to activate and says I have no network connection. I used this all the time on the old OS. I am not the ony one having this problem if you check the forums. I am not resetting the wifi on all my other systems to accomodate my phone, nor should I have to. I should not have to lose all my data and information and reset my phone. I want this to activate. I am not the only one.

Too bad my 4S is 2 years old. Wifi is dead. I had to upgrade to 5S, but 5S is soooooo much faster than 4S so it's kind of good outcome. Without the 4S breaking down, a stingy person like me would have never upgraded the phone.

Do you have a SIM in the phone? A SIM is required to activate the phone.
If you do, ask your dad if the phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.
