Erasing in Freehand mode

When I write in Freehand mode, How do I erase a portion of what I have written? I cannot find how to turn my stylus into an eraser.

While using freeform drawing feature you will see the icon for undo which looks like a left pointing curved arrow.Tap on it for erasing a portion of the free form drawing.

You can also tap on the free hand mark (whether you are in drawing mode or not). From the resulting menu, you can tap delete.

I have looked in the control panel and I see that BlueTooth is listed. If it is listed, does that mean that I have Bluetooth?
How do I find this out? I would then like to get a wireless printer if this is the case!
I am using Windows Vista SP2. If I rightclick the desktop and go to "personalize" and then on the righthand side choose "connect a projector or other display" the "Windows Mobility Center" will open and gives me the option to set the Brightness on the screen. This is fine,
but I want my setting to be PERMANANT. I don't want to keep having to set it everytime I boot my computer, or wake it
from a sleep. It's far too bright for me. I need shades or something when it's at 100% !!

Try to Login to all your iCloud Account one by one and then from Find My iPhone device list you will find all your devices which is associated with that Apple Id. If you have all your other iPhones with you and in working condition and connected to Internet then try to play a sound on that device from Find My iPhone to make sure it is not that device which is Locked after Restore and the other option is Remove all your Device from your Account in iCloud.com Do not select the option of Erase or Lost Mode and once you removed all your devices from All your Apple iCloud Account Restart that iPhone once and this time you should not be asked for any Apple Id or Password to unlock your Device.

I can't sync music onto my iPod touch after restoring

I have just restored and updated my iPod touch and now my music won't sync onto it. The music is still in my iTunes library and the "Sync music" box is ticked but the music will not sync onto my iPod.
My apps are no longer in my iTunes library to sync onto my iPod. My photos are still on the device and the wifi settings are still the same.
I have tried restoring and syncing my iPod touch again a few times and I get error message -54.
Please help me :-(

I can't find an iTunes error -54 anywhere, even from Google.
I would try:
Placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and then restoring. The iPod will be erased by recovery mode.
Place in DFU mode and then restore.

Leopard froze at the middle of installation and now mbp won't start

I first tried to install Leopard by upgrade mode but it froze after the dvd verification so I restarted it and no problem, the second time I tried Erase and install mode, and in the middle of the installation process it froze, there were 41 minutes left and the disc stopped continually but then it would start again, but this time it froze, the dvd made the same sound over and over and the screen didn't move either so I restarted it and the "kernel panic" message appeared, restarted it again with leopard inside and now it's stuck on the gray screen. I even put a installation disc and it tried to install the previous version, I guess it doesn't have any OS installed so it doesn't know what to do.....now what should I do?

If it reports your drive is damaged, replace it immediately. If your backup's are not able to recover your data then you can use Time Machine to restore. If you haven't been using Time Machine or another form of backup then you will need to search for a Data Recovery service however this solution is expensive and not 100% certain they can recover your data.
Not to be unkind but there really isn't any reason to not be backing up on a regular basis.

Improvements for Adobe Reader for Android

Please add the following features:
- rubber tool so you don't have to delete everything every time you want to correct a mistake after exiting freehand mode
- ability to copy/paste an annotation made in freehand mode
- tool for drawing straight lines/arrows (would be nice for coordinate systems etc.)
- ability to pinch-zoom and scroll with 2 fingers while in freehand mode, so that you don't have to exit every time to change position if out of screen space
- ability to add blank pages for more annotations and delete others
Would be awesome to have those features, would pay for a pro version too. Thanks alot!

Unrestricted Crop in LR3?

How do I perform an unrestricted (freehand) crop in LR3?
I see crop presets for various aspect ratios, for original ratio, or for a custom ratio that would be entered before performing the crop. I need to be able to do an unrestricted crop like those offered in PhShop CS, PSE, etc.

Simply unlock the preset (click on the padlock icon). That puts you into what you're terming "freehand" mode. You may then drag the crop frame (independently) from any corner or side.

Selling iphone 3g

Hi guys!
A small question: I'm about to sell my iPhone 3G (as I have a 4S now) and I was wondering about the following:
If I go into the menu and put it into erase all settings mode all data is gone so it's safe to sell, but the buyer wants me to activate the device for him.
That's no issue at all for me of course. Just put in the sim card, and connect it to itunes, select "setup as new iPhone" and put it on manual sync...
I'm wondering now: if I do that I assume no personal data should be synced on the phone, but will it be linked to my Apple ID somehow? I can't find anything on the device about that and the store asks me to enter my ID if I try that, so I don't think so but just to be sure...

SIM cards are associted with a specific user as well as the carrier. You would be foolish to give him your SIM even if prepaid. He will have your old telephone number. Anything illegal done with that phone, the police will come looking for YOU.
Unless you activate and set it up using HIS Apple ID and iTunes account, it will be set up under YOUR ID, not something you want. There is no good reason why you should activate it for him.

Problema to start up in Mac OS X (v 10.4,4)...even after reinstalling Mac X

Hi friends, since more than a week ago, I started my iMac with mac OS tiger version 10.4.4 on it and after the gray with the apple logo screen I get a blue screen with no progress more than there....it doesn´t star up.
I have tried all of the tecnical solutions I´ve found in the internet and none of them work for me and my mac (I´ve even reinstalled the Mac Os X operating system with no progress several times!).
I live in Cali, the second bigest city in Colombia (South America), but here there is no apple authorized dealers or tecnical support......that´s why I´m desperate and with no were else to go......

here are the answers to your questions:
1. Yes, I vae back up all of my important data on several DVDs since I have user the "Erase and Install" at the Mac OS X reinstalation process.
2.I don´t have another Mac I can use.
3.yes I have tried the Safe mode. In fact, in that mode was how I made all the back ups.
This are some of the things I have tried (in that order):
-Disable third-party start up items.
-Disable all login items.
-Reinstalled the mac OS X version 10.4.4 in the "Archive and Istall" mode.
-Reinstalled (three times!!!) the mac OS X version 10.4.4 in the "Erase and install" mode. I even did it using a diferent user account the last time!
4.Yes, i´ve done this also....
Any other idea?

Delete keywords in batch

After 18 months I have admitted that my previous keywording was inadequate and wrong so I am culling and recataloging all my photos.
The old keyword hierarchy doesn't fit into the new one well.
This gets rather arduous as I have to blank all the keywords from each folder as I import it and then re-tag them. I do this by selecting all the photos and unselecting the old keywords.
Is there any simple way to wipe the keywords from files before unploading them in batch mode? I tried Bridge, that is even worse.

Another fast way to go, to remove keywords in bulk from existing, imported, edited etc. photos in Lightroom without having to reimport them and start over is to use Eraser, the opposite of Painter. I was just doing some of the same thing yesterday, lewis, and Eraser saved a lot of hair pulling.
To use Eraser, in Library mode, open the folder that has photos with the keywords you want gone. You can do this across Lightroom folders, of course, by opening an upper level Lightroom folder that has all the samples of a keyword. You can pull aside just those photos with that keyword, as you probably know, by scanning down your list of keywords on the right in Library and clicking the right arrow next to that particular keyword. Now, make sure you're in Grid display mode, so you see the spray paint can (Painter) in the bottom center toolbar. Highlight all the photos you want to make a keyword change to, and click the spray paint can, and the toolbar shifts into Painter mode and you can type in the keyword there in that toolbar that you want to remove, or a keyword you want to add. Now hover the can over the highlighted photos, and it will alternate each time you click with it on photos between Painting the keyword on to the highlighted photos when you click them with the spray paint can icon and Erasing the keyword from highlighted photos you click when you see the blackboard eraser icon. Try it. You'll get the idea quickly. Remember, it only works in Grid display in Library. Otherwise, you won't see Painter icon.
This is a fast way to make changes to keywords to large numbers of photos at once.

Superdrive Sufficient Privileges

Hello folks!
My brand new Macbook after installing Leo is doing crazy things with my superdrive. I realize there is a general consensus with flawed superdrives and many people are having issues with DVDs being spit out. Same happens to me when I insert blank DVD, however, an error message pops-up stating that I do not have sufficient access previliges. Does this message also pop up with you folks or it simply spits the DVD out?
It still reads software (such as Leopard), music, and movie DVDs.

So I did a clean erase and install mode for Leopard installation. And it works like a charm. Now I can recognize and burn blank DVDs. Phew!

Did you get a message in iTunes that said iTunes found an iPod in recovery mode? If not then you might have not gotten the iPod in recovery mode. Try using this program to get the iPod in recovery mode:
