EREC onEhP4

Hello,
I have worked on SAP E-recruitment. Currernlty I am starting the project on Erecruitment on EhP 4. On my previous implementation I used BSP and in this Project I have to implement the Web dynpro applications. Regarding the urls links I have few quick questions.
Like BSP do we configure the User Interface as of start pages i.e.
Create Start Pages
Define Links for Start Pages
Define Start Page Groups
Define Start Pages
OR
we can simly use their URL generated by system as of standard

Hello Pullela,
Please check the candidate object 50570305  in HRP1001 and HRP5102 and might be  doesn't
exist in both - only in HRP1000. So no CP/BP/US assignments are created and no candidate object is created in HRP5102. Therefore, you get this error in SLG1. Could you please run report HRALXSYNC for this employee to see if the objects are created?
If this candidate does not exist any more in your system, May be you can delete the record from HRP1001. For more information on this issue, please refer to the note 997181.

    hello everyone,
    we are creating Requisition request in MSS. But Request is not reaching Recruter UWL.
    We tried to find so many ways to solve this problem. We got to know that there is problem in workflow.
    we are getting follwoing error.
    Object CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS method DATAMAPPING cannot be executed
    we tried to resolve follwoing error but no success.
    finally we got reason behind this issue, workflow is using one standard auth table "t5asrauthmethod"
    with follwoing parameters
    Application=EREC
    Activity=R
    Content Type= p
    Content Group =
    and there is no entry corresponding to this, and finally we are getting error.
    please let me know which authorization object or role we have to add so that we should nt get this error.

  • Erec - leaving action deleted internal candidate email address not working

    Good morning
    We have the following situation:
    1. A person was made a leaver in HR with future leaving date.
    2. Decision was made that the person could actually stay so the leaving action was deleted in HR.
    3. In erec in SU01 person still showing as role RCF_INT however the email address (produced from IT105 subtype 0010 in HR) was blank and his Alias field populated with his employee number ie: as if he was a leaver still.
    4. I have manually updated the email address in erec for his internal email address - this did not let him apply for an internal job. I then deleted it in IT105 in HR and then recreated it in IT105 - this has gone across to Erec however he still cannot apply and the Alias field is still being populated.
    So erec is behaving as if he is part internal and part external! How can I stop the Alias field being populated for him and how can I then get the email address to work?

    Thank you. The order of events was as follows:
    a. On 25.01.11 a leaving action was done to start 01.04.11
    b. A decision made in March that the individual could stay however the leaving action was not deleted until 08.04.11
    c. This meant that he became a leaver in erec and due to subsequently deleting the leaving action he has reverted to INT_CAND (which is what we want).
    I have managed to get the email address to work by deleting the IT105 subtype 0010 in HR, I then recreated it in HR and it has PFAL'd over to erecruitment so the user is now able to apply for jobs.
    However the Alias field is still populated and the user has an additional employee number in erecuitment. Are you able to advise how the alias field can be depopulated?

  • MOPZ error while generating stack file for EREC upgrade

    I need to upgrade E-Recruitment 604 to 606.
    Currently we are on Netweaver 7.01 While adding this system in SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 05 in order to generate
    stack.xml file i manually selected this product system in product system
    editor and we had selected below combinations
    1)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01(marked as installed) + SAP ERP
    -> started MOPZ with same and selected target as SAP ERP 6 EHP 7 but
    while doing so got error as Invalid queue because EA_APPL is not selected
    but actually EA_APPL is not in components for EREC system
    2)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6 with ABAP technology and E RECRUITING + EHP1 for
    NW 7.0
    ->started MOPZ with target as SAP netweaver 7.4 but while doing so
    getting error as "EHP Component ERECRUIT 604 without suitable Technical Usage!"
    and Mark relevant instance to include the software component ERECRUIT
    604 in SMSY/LMDB but Product system editor is perfect and verification tool is also green.

  • ALE FOR HRM - EREC SYSTEMS

    Hi all..
    We are trying to configure ALE between Ecc Hr and EREC systems.
    what we did :
    3 badi imlementations were activated in HRM and EREC systems.
    1. created logical system and assigned cleint.
    2. created RFC connection and  determined RFC dewstinations.
    3. created Model view , added HRMD_A message type and created filers.
    4. Generated profiles and distributed models.
    5. Using Tcode Pfal for message type HRMD_A, for a ORG unit , we had sent data and IDOC status shows green with message reciever available , no filters, no conversions.
    Issue :
    But this org unit is not sent to EREC.
    Differences :
    1. In EREC system : Model is available with message type HRMD_A , but filters are not availale which are active in HRM ecc system.
    2. in EREC , PFAL transaction : message type HRMD_B is comming by default and is in disabled mode, so even cannot change the message type. Even found that in table HRMD_A ia not available.
    Please let us know , wether we should create the filters manually in EREC system or should we create HRMD_A message type manulally.

  • Linking to a document  saved in KM via Job Posting Overview  in EREC 300

    Hello Gurus,
    An attachment was added to a requisition as a part of the normal process of creating a requisition (in EREC 300) . I would now like to access this attachment as a link from within the Job Publication / Posting Instance Overview .  In order to achieve this ,I proceeded as follows:
    1.     I read the Document ID from the table T77RCF_DOCID for the Infotype 5134 and field name 'ATTACHMENT'.
    2.     Next got the attachment URL using the following code
    CALL METHOD cl_hrrcf_hrkwf_storage=>get_url_for_bsp
        EXPORTING
          doc_id   = l77rcf_docid-docid
          hrobject = ls_req_object
          version  = lv_version
        IMPORTING
          url      = attachment_url.
    3.     Next I added this URL as a link to my Overview Smartform.
    When I now try to click on this link from within the E-Recruiting ( on the Job Publication Overview) it gives me this error:

    The URL for  the link was found to be:

    Hi Rajeev,
    The below FM works now, actually when u execute this FM it does not give the whole complete URL , so in the debug mode of FM try to get the the whole URL link with the full 32/64 bit (guid) and then check the url in browser with http protocal , it should work.

    I have a requirement in SAP EREC where I require URLs in the email body to mimic the same URLs in the attached PDF. In the registration document sent to candidates the Smartform contains a text element with text set as a URL. The code snippet below then sets the actual URL to the text link.

    When the letter is generated this is fine in the PDF but in the body of the email the actual URL value (i.e. mailto:[email protected]) is displayed.In the IMG Settings "SSF_PDF" is set as the format for the output channel "Email". Is it possible to override this behaviour?

    Hi Nicole
    The business requirement is that when the cover letter is emailed to the candidate the email body generated from our custom Smartform needs to contain 'mailto' links to various departments within our organisation.
    These links need to take the form of Link1 in the text but the URL is actually 'mailto:[email protected]'. I use the code snippet in the original post to create this in other Smartforms but in the body of the email the text displayed is mailto:[email protected]

    Could you explain how can i get the  SAP's standard predelivered content of SAP EREC (TPZ file ) to be imported in PI ?
    I need to do this inorder to use the SAP's recommended Message Interface  / Service Interface .

    Hello,
    The procedure for this case next:
    Go to service.sap.com\swdc ->downloads -> Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group -> SAP Content -> XI Content -> Choose required version of EREC.
    After download maybe you should Unzip file (now you get TPZ file) and place them in import directory for ES Repository. Now you have to do in ES Repository next: Tools -> Import design objects.

  • EREC WORKFLOW Autonmatic email sending not working

    Dear All ,
                    Following are questions regarding EREC- WORKFLOW .
    1) As WF-BACTH user is already created with sap-all role .
         But not understaing what is use of report RCF_CREATE_USER .and what is link of wf-bacth to it .
    2) We have  activated WS51900008 , WS51900005 , WS51900009 , WS51800042 , WS12200021 .
         While creating External Candidate from BSP screen , Swel showing Events succefully executed .
          Even in SWUD for WS51900008 all step executed Succesfully , but end step i.e Send  Document is in Process.
          Not getting confirnmation mail in sost .
         Please suggest me for same .
      If anyone having erec-workflow/Configuration document .

                    Actually for E-rec Module ,  we have to create internal erec user for WF-BACTH ( WORKFLOW USER)
                    with help of Report  RCF_CREATE_USER .
    1) Create Erec internal User with help of report  RCF_CREATE_USER ,
        Parameter :  A) User name : WF-BATCH. 
                            B)  Email Id       : Acc to Requirment .
                           all other as per requirement .
    2) Assing Printer( Output Device )  to WF-BATCH User in TCODE - SU01 .

  • Query on eRec integration with ECC (HCM)

    We are using standalone eRec server on ehp4. Now my scenario is
    1) While raising the requisition request i need the Org unit to be pulled from the HR system. Currently i maintained the following switched with RFC's
    in HCM system i mainateined a witch
    1)RECFA DTCBA     ED1_200     (RFC Connection in E-Recruiting System) - RFC is created in the HR System
    (RFC type 3)
    Switches mainteined in Erec system
    2)RECFA HRRFC     CSD_130     Logical System of Connected HR System - Here i maintained RFC which is created in erec system
    Now when i create a requition in erec when i choose the Org Unit drop down I am unable to see the org units which are mainained in the HR system
    AM i missing any config or any functionality or any troubleshooting required.
    Pls guide me with you inputs
    2) Also i would like to know the data transfer of the applicant data from erec system to hr system while i do the data transfer.
    What all i need to configure for this and any prerequsitive is needed from my end.
    Plss help me on this

  • Data transfer between EREC 606 and HR system EHP5

    Hi All,
    we have similar scenario to the discussions:

    with that abbreviation that out system hosting partner has recommended EREC 606 as the right level. The main reason was as I recall that our SAP Portal is on the level 7.31.
    As I see in that discussions others are using EREC 605 with ERP EHP5.
    Our integration between ERP (HR) and EREC will be limited to transfer of job positions to be recruited. In our business model we have payroll outsourcer and the hired persons will be transferred from EREC via SAP PI to the outsourcer and then the outsourcer will send to us the file with new and changed employees and the SAP PI will read them into SAP HR.
    1. are we going to make right landscape? We are now just about to install EREC 606 - will it work with ERP EHP5?
    2. Second question is if we have to activate any business function in SAP HR (ERP)?

    I like to double-check the question no 2:
    - Indeed we have EREC 606 standalone (without ERP component)
    - the SAP ERP system (including HR) EHP5 will communicate with EREC through ALE
    Our hosting partner and application partner are now seriously considering if we need to activate on SAP ERP following BF's:
    HCM_ASR_CI_1
    HCM_MSS_ERC_CI_1
    HCM_HIRE_INT_CI_1
    Your answer means: NO - WE DO NOT NEED TO ACTIVATE THEM (?)

  • Error in RBDMIDOC report run in E-REC, for data transfer from HR to EREC system

    Hi,
    We are on EHP5, EREC 605, SP0007. EREC is on a standalone, separate instance. HR in a separate instance.
    We have created new org.units & positions, which we are trying to move from HR to EREC system for starting the EREC process.
    In the report message type, gave input "HRMD_ABA", The output throws this error. (Screenshot attached)
    Please provide your helps on the reasons for the error and corrective action to be taken.

    Just extending my query,
    I have  created newly 2 org.units & 2 positions under the org.units in HR system.I
    If i want to create a requisition as a recruiter from EREC portal,  for that newly created vacant positions, what needs to be done?
    How  to move that new vacant org.unit with position to EREC system ?
    Should I run the org.unit with positions using PFAL (Insert/update mode) or use RBDMIDOC method ?

  • EREC:Authorization issue in Registration of External Candidate

    We are on EhP 5 and NW 7.3 system with SAP Erec 605 addon.We have a single instance architecture.Need help with user assignment to various WDA ERec services.
    Also whenever i click on register now link in External Candidate Start page ,it asks for SAP backend authorization. In my view this should not happen.
    Please assist.

    Hi Shankar,
    Even i'd gone thru tough time to complete the eRec config successfully...!
    You only need the reference user as logon data, as this is for the external service and there won't be any login expected by the External Candidate to the SAP system. When you assign the reference/service users to ICF services.. it means you are saying to SAP system that .. when ever this service is called use the authentication provided in the logon data and the rest is taken care by SAP!
    This is one URL from eREC which will be exposed to internet (via a reverse proxy) and shouldn't be asking for SAP authentication.
    You can use all the standard roles for eRec config, until unless you really have a custom scenario.

  • Data Transfer Between HR and Erec

    Hi all,
    We are using having 2 backend systems 1 for HR other than Erec and another one for erec.
    Now we have setup the ALE data transfer using Message type HRMD_ABA.
    In erec we have only ERECRUIT Component deployed in backend,no EA HR or SAP HR component deployed.
    MEaning no PA* tables.
    Now when Transfer personnel number(HR!001-A008 with Position) to erec box,it says no pernr exist.
    Howver i cannot tranfer the pernr from ECC to Erec as we dont have PA* tables in Erec.
    Can you share me the object types that are transferred from ECC to EREc and EREC and ECC.
    What are the components to be deployed in backend Erec box.
    In Portal for requistions application which should backend(System Object) and for recruiter and recruitment admin applications which should be the backend system(System Object).

    Hi ,
    1) First get your users created with roles in your Erec system
    Example recruiter ,Manager ,Recruitment Admin
    2) Get your Structure created in your HR back end system .
    3)Make sure you maintain your basic Infotypes with 0105 miantained (System user name /Email id )
    Assign the user to 0105 subtype 0001
    4)ALE that you have setup first move Org structure moved
      next move the person (Pers no ) .
    ALE chose the insert mode and goto WE10 if yoru IDOCS are clean without errors .
    Make sure all the personal data including address ,postal code is all maintained .

    Supported infotypes for transfering data from the E-Recruiting to the HR-System are the PA infotypes 0,1,2 and 6. There are 15 fields sent to pa48 if they were filled in the E-Recruiting system, which are
    - forename, initials, surname
    - gender
    - birth date
    - correspondance language
    - address (street, city, streetcode, region, country)
    - hiring date
    - organisation unit
    - position
    - personel number (for internal candidates)
    So these are the infotypes which can be transfered automatically and cause no problems. If you want the "title" to be transferred additionally, you have to adjust the  system behaviour accordingly.
    To set up data transfer,
    In E-Rec System, use Tcode - BD64 Partner Type LS - Generate partner profile for the ECC System
    Use Tcode - WE20 for the Partner profiles checking
    For ECC Partner Profile, Give Outbound parameters - Messahge type HRMD_ABA and SYNCH. Give Inbound parameters- Message Type HRMD_ABA
    In ECC system, use BD64 for the Partner Type LS. Partner Type LS - Generate partner profile for theCreate Erec System(
    Use Tcode - WE20 for the Partner profiles checking
    For E-Rec Partner Profile  , Give Outbound parameters - Messahge type HRMD_ABA and SYNCH. Give Inbound parameters- Message Type HRMD_ABA
    After doing data transfer using RHALEINI, use transaction SM58 to check whether the data has been transferred or not.
