EREC: Trex Errors in first run

Hello,
We have EREC and HCM in two separate systems, i followed SAP note suggestions and created ALE connection to import the data. After i imported the data i ran HRLAXSYNC report in EREC system, which created NA objects.
Great, i was happy so far. Now i ran the TREX for the first time in production and see atleast few hundred if not more of similar errors as below, what did i do wrong? how can i fix this?

Hello Nicole,
The note has a prerequisite that erec is in integrated environment, but as mentioned above our EREC is not in integrated environment we are in I2-A scenario.
Please advise.

  • Data Error on first run of report

    Hi,
There is a Payments report which has two sheets.
The first sheet has 10 parameters. The second sheet has the same 10 parameters plus another parameter of the Withholding Tax Group (not necessary to enter data).
Both sheets are based on the same 4 folders.
For some reason, if I run the first sheet and then run the second sheet with the same parameters (i.e. not using the Withholding Tax Group and not changing any of the parameters), I get an error message that there was an error in the run.
As soon as I change one of the parameters, or if I run that sheet first, there is no problem.
Any idea what can be causing this problem?
    Thanks.
    Leah

    Leah,
Ah, those picky little details. I had not realized you had set the first 10 parameters to use the same value for all sheets. I just though you were reusing the 10, plus adding an 11th parameter, for sheet 2. Whenever I have multiple sheets, and I create parameters within that workbook, I always set the parameters to allow different values for each sheet. So I have personally never done what you are doing. It could be that if you run the first sheet first, then switch to the second sheet, it is trying to autorun that second sheet based on the first sheet parameter values, but running into that 11th parameter (which I am assuming is a mandatory parameter, correct?) and since no value for that yet, giving you the error. That is pure speculation on my part. What happens if you make the extra parameter optional? You probably want to contact Oracle Support and see what they say the product is supposed to do in this kind of situation. Certainly as you saw in testing, if you set the parameters to allow different values for each sheet, you are okay. So you might stick with that if you are able to.

  • Error when first run page using SelectOneChoice objects

Hi! I had following error, when I run my jspx page:
<FacesCtrlListBinding><getInputValue> ADFv: Could not find selected item matching value Vitis of type: java.lang.String in the list-of-values.
When I press refresh button in browser, then I can see in my SelectOneChoice object value "Vitis"
Any ideas why it is so?
    Best regards!

    Hi,
The reason could be that the selectItem with the value 'Vitis' may not be available in your selectOneChoice at the time of page load.
You may try printing all the values bound to selectItems using forEach and see if the list contains the value 'Vitis' or not.

    Hi Jin,
I think SAP note number 796540 will be helpfull to you.
It was known User Management issue which is not connected to any Unification feature.
Personal advice: try to restart Portal server.

  • EREC: TREX Errors

TREX Stopped indexing, it was working fine until yesterday. I went into SLG1 and see few errors like below. I also see error that states, Candidate object NA 5...... doesn't exist. While its true, i cant find any candidate in HRP1001, how si it picking them up for indexing?
    Below is another errors:
Error when determining the attribute values for HR object 01NA50000053
The incorrect HR object has the key 01NA50000053
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_SES_BUSOBJ_FROM_SPTYPCM00Y line 3

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Hello Dhana,
Inconsistencies in a system are not a programming error. I would check my system for NA objects existing in table HRP1000 but have no relationships in HRP1001. There you should get a list of all effected candidates.

  • Slow reports giving "An error has occurred: Request timed out" on first run

    I have BO XI R1 SP4 installed on Windows 2003 R2 SP3 with .Net 1.1 installed.
Most of our reports are quite large (>60000 rows returned) and will timeout in InfoView when first run and give the message in the subject. When you close the window and re-run them then they come up almost straight away.
This tells me that the report runs and it gets stored in the cache server, which is fine, but I want to be able to eliminate the timeout for the users.
I found a solution if .Net 2.0 is installed (HOW TO: Resolve 'An error has occurred: Request timed out' issue) but my server only has .Net 1.1.
Is there a change to a timeout I can made to the server as it is, or should I install .Net 2.0 and change IIS to use that version of .Net then make the solution change already suggested?
    TIA
I should add that the timeout is after around 5 minutes, so the normal changes recommended at note 1198539 doesn't seem to apply, as the timeout happens after the normal 90 seconds expires for some time.

Will something like this work on an iPhone and where would I locate it?  My App Store was working just fine and this last week it's been slower and slower, plus difficulties with downloading and updates. Both my downloads and updates start and then pop up a 'can't install at this time'. I thought it might b my storage space so I started deleting. Well I have plenty of space now and still get same problem.
Now over the last two days I will type in a search to reinstall the apps that I removed and the App Store tells me request timed out.
    Help please

  • ERROR - CX_FQDN error received  in running first Dynpro

ERROR - CX_FQDN error received  in running first Dynpro
    Hi,
I am encountering the above run time error when  attempting to run a dynpro application in my SAP system - which runs on VM ware from a lap top.
I have had a search around forums etc and have tried amending the icm/host_name_full in RZ10 but have not solved this problem.
I am hoping for some advice on how to best proceed.
    Thank You,
    Regards,
    Mart.

OK, thank you for the advice so far.  Just to clarify, as per e.g.'s in help, if I amend the  icm/host_name_full  parameter in rz10 to the following:
    <host name>.<domain> <extension
This will then result in the  url of  the dynpro application becoming:
    http://tdt.sap.de:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz__webdp3
    Should the application work?
    Regards,
    Mart.

Yes, yes, all of the usual.  I'm posting here so just in case someone knows what usually causes this:
    Caught signal 11
If it's plist files that could cause it or running programs, etc.  I'm not looking for any assistance with standard troubleshooting techniques but thanks for the thought.
Eventually I'll either purchase it (since it works on my iMac just fine) and open a case or give up and stay with 3.1.3 until a later version comes out.
    Again thanks for the assistance.
    UPDATE:
Finally got access to VMTN, posted this below:

  • EREC: TREX Index status

When i go to SES_ADMIN, if the objects dont have anything to index since the time system is online, will the status always be Initial?

    Hello Dhana,
for the latest eRec releases in combination with TREX 7.10 the index category is no longer used. So this is not an issue.
If you think that some configuration steps are missing you should repeat the eRec TREX setting again. I assume you are using an up to date eRec release (enhancement package and support package stack) so check SAP note 1301016 in the service marketplace. There you find 3 scenarios, pick the one which is matching your system and repeat all steps.
Within the note you also find the names of the eRec indexes.
    Kind Regards
    Roman
PS: one small hint for configuring the indexes in SES_ADMIN. The note still says that you first add the object and then the relation indexes for objects ERC_CAND/NA and that an error message appears. This has changed since some support package. Object and relation indexes are created together.

  • No Data Shown because an error occurred while running the query

Discoverer 10gR2 using Plus on Firefox:
I have one workbook. The first sheet summarizes by Vendor. Parameters are Type, Category, Vendor (all optional) and mandatory date range.
The second sheet summarized by Vendor and Model. Parameters are Type, Category, Vendor, Model (all optional) and mandatory date range.
All parameters except the extra "Model" are shared between the sheets.
When I run the Vendor sheet, parameters pop up, I put in dates and leave the rest blank. Results display. Yeah!
When I then run the Model sheet, parameters pop up again (because it has one more parameter). Dates carry forward, leave the rest blank. I get the error No Data Shown because an error occurred while running the query. Refreshing does not help.
If I click back to the Vendor sheet, then come back to the Model sheet, no parameter screen and the query runs.
    Booooo.
Have tried multiple DBs, multiple EULs, multiple underlying data sources, replacing the offending parameter with a whole new one, no difference.
Has any body run into this behavior? Is there an answer?
-- Ron Olcott, Business Intelligence Product Manager

What about trying this. On the parameter definition, you have a section on the bottom left of the Parameters window, called "Do you want to allow different parameter values for each worksheet?". When you say in your posting that all but the Model parameter is shared, I assume you mean that you have set this section value to "Allow only one set of paratmeter values for all worksheets". Try setting this to "Allow different parameter values for each worksheet". See if that might make a difference for you. If that works, you may have to leave the option at this, as the lesser of your evils. From my limited experience, the "Allow only one set of parameter mvalues for all worksheets" is a bit flaky in how it works. So I pretty much have gone to always saying to allow different parameter values for each worksheet. Hope this helps a bit. If worse comes to worse, if you have not done so already, log a service request with support and see what they say. Good luck.

  • ORA-3113 while running export (first run ok, second run fails)

    Hi,
    I'm running 10g (10.1.0.2.0) on gentoo Linux.
After a restart of the database I can do an EXP for any user without errors. But when I repeat the same command after the export I get the following error:
    . . exporting table WEB_SESSION_DATA 0 rows exported
    . exporting synonyms
    EXP-00008: ORACLE error 3113 encountered
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
    EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
It's always the same error on the same task (exporting synonyms) but always just for the second and any later export, while the first one is ok.
I read through some forums and found, that ORA-3113 is a standard error which just hides the real error. So I look into the trace files and found:
    ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [jox_lookup_known_object()+413] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x1AD14034] [] []
Current SQL statement for this session:
SELECT SYNNAM, DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(SYNNAM), DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(SYNTAB), TABOWN, TABNODE, PUBLIC$, SYNOWN, SYNOWNID, TABOWNID, SYNOBJNO FROM SYS.EXU9SYN WHERE SYNOWNID = :1 ORDER BY SYNTIME
If I call this SQL from sqlplus I get the same ORA-3113, so this seems to be the cause for the export failure.
When I remove the DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME calls from the statement, it runs fine. It also runs fine, when I add a "and 1=0" to the EXU9SYN view. But this will not really solve the problem, because then all synonyms don't get exported.
I also checked all the synonyms and they are valid, the referenced tables exist and can be queried.
Because we use JavaStoredProcedures I cannot remove the Java Features in Oracle. But I reinstalled it (rmjvm.sql and initjvm.sql) but this did not help.
Does anyone have an idea what's happening here?
Especially the "first run ok, second run fails" seems to be very strange, because DB objects including DBMS_JAVA should be ok, if the first export can be done. So what changes in the database during or after the first run?

Maybe description for bug 3953108 (ORA-7445 AND ORA-3113 DURING DIRECT FULL DATABASE EXPORT OF PUBLIC SYNONYMS) is helpful.

    Hi Niloufer123
Have you regenerated your Repository after making changes?
If not, go to SA38 and run program CRM_ERMS_REGEN_RULES for ERMS context for your Policy (check box checkboxes).
Now re-run your scenario.  Hopefully this has helped.

  • FRM-41211: Integration Error: SSL failure running another product Error

    Hai,
I am developing POS Application in Oracle(Forms6i/Reports6i). I design the Invoice Print Format in Reports6i and call from the Invoice Form. When the
user save the Invoice I Commit the Invoice and call the Invoice Report for Printing Immediately. I use Epson TM U210B Label Printer for Billing. Sometimes the Invoice Print is not coming in the Printer and it gives the
following error(especially the First print after restart the computer).
FRM-41211: Integration Error: SSL failure running
    another product
After that if you print further for transaction no plm. only it gives the error first time of print
So Please give the solutions immediately. I am waiting for Ur favourable Reply.
    Ur's Shahul

As Petr said make sure you're reports25_tmp is set in your registry and that the directory exists AND you have the rights to write to that directory.
You can also get this error if you try to issue a 2nd asynchronous run_product call to run a report and there is another one running. For this, Oracle has two 'solutions'.
    1) Do not run more then one asynchronous report per session
    or
    2) Use a delay loop before calling the next report.
It's been my experience that #2 is worthless as, if it works, is doing pretty much the same thing as #1. I really hope this gets fixed (for good) at some point...somehow. <G>

  • REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.

I am getting the following errors while trying to run a report script.  The report was created in Report Builder.
REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
Reference parameter OT_RUN_DATE in the distribution list is invalid.
OT_RUN_DATE is a static field converting SYSDATE to a string (TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDD')).  Unfortunately, I inherited this report and did not create it.  I do not know what purpose it serves but would like more insight into what the reference parameter and distribution list mean.
REP-0177: An error occurred while running in a remote server.
Too many errors pushed on the stack
I assume this is related to the first error but am not certain.
    Any help is greatly appreciated...

    Hi,
I am trying to run Sun Java Studio and entered the Tutorial "Developing a Web Application". I have tried to do this twice. steps
    1. drage test field and name it
2, drag a label and name it
    3. drage abutton and name it
    4. Drage static text and name it
    5. Double click button and enter "helloText.setText("Hello, "+name+"!");
    6. try to build and run
    These two error appear
    <ant antfile="project-data/build-impl.xml" target="compile"/>
    <javac srcdir="${source.java.root}" source="1.4" target="1.4" encoding="${source.encoding}" destdir="${output.classes.dir}" debug="on">
    Any help would be appreciated
    Jim
I first posted to this . I replied with the log but couldn't get the reply to work so I posted a new post.

    Hi,
I could not reproduce your problem. The tutorial "Developing a Web Application" works fine for me.
Please post the server log file which is available at : <install-dir>:\Sun\Creator2\SunAppServer8\domains\creator\logs\server .log
    Thanks,
    RK.
