ERECRUIT Add-On missed while doing EHP4 Upgradation

HI Experts,
I had installed ERP EHP1 server(ABAP) then i upgraded server to EHP4 with selected components.
I forgot to take ERECRUIT while going for upgrade, presently at release 600 patchlevel 16.
I would like to take this to 604 patch 5, when i am trying to add this Add-On through SAINT, it is not allowing me and it is asking for XML file.
how i procceed further, please help me out.

Dear Sandy,
I have developed same scenario in one of my system. What I found is following:
1) Make sure that your system is correctly configure in SMSY in solution manager.
2) Go to MOPZ, create a solution for your system for which you want to upgrade and select E-Recruiting for ECC Server there (Deselect all remaining components). Make sure that Central Application component should already upgraded to EHP4 level i.e. SAP_APPL and EA-APPL.
3) Then in solution created in MOPZ, select the packages and Select download from Download manager.
4) Then download the packages from download manager.
5) Then go to MOPZ again and in same solution, and complete that solution.
6) Now go to the system in which you want to upgrade and go to transaction SAINT, when you will click start button, Then on next screen click stack configuration button, this button will show you the target stack Select it and then it will automatically upload required stack xml file from solman.
Then you can proceed with the upgrade.
I think this is the new thing come in EHP4 system, I have done a number of upgrades but saw this thing first time. I have tested above things and it is working fine.

This is caused by a missing security patch:
Note 1402510 - Resolving SideBySide Assembly Errors
which finally points to
Note 1375494 - SAP system does not start after applying SAP kernel patch
Install the security patch from that note.

Hi,
Upgrade tool is trying to start the system but system is not coming up. Try to start system manually and see if system comes up or not. If not then check logs in work directory for why system is not coming up.

Hi,
You need to refer to respective system copy guide and upgrade guide to know about pre-requisites before doing migration and upgrade on AIX platform.
Practically there are no major issues seen on AIX platform during migration as well as during upgrade.

First Name and Last Name goes missing while doing a Request Download for BP

Hi Friends,
We started doing a request download for some of the BP's from ECC to CRM. For some BP's the download was working fine but for some BP's the first name and last name are missing. Kindly suggest how do we correct these BP's and how can we restrict this issue not to happen while doing a request download. The object with which we are doing the download is CUSTOMER_MAIN.

Check if first and last name exist in the Bdoc in SMW01. If it is missing in the BDoc, that means it is not transferred in BAPI structure to CRM.
You can check modules CRS_SEND_TO_SERVER on R/3 side, to check the BAPI structures , for presence of first and last names. Then in CRM, you can de-register the queue in txn:SMQR, debug the queue entry , and put a breakpoint in mapper module(which you can find from txn. R3AC1) to check for the incoming BAPI data.

Storage location field missing while doing GR with PO number

When I receive goods from a PO, the storage location field missing from MIGO with 101. Material been extended with storage location and entered in PO. But sloc field totally greying out while I receive goods with PO.
I tried other way to receive goods , but storage location disappears when I save it.
MMBE shows stock as on order before reciept , after I post goods, material document created but stock disappears. Not even in the plant.
Can anyone help , please?

Hi,
You create the material in MM01 and select the non-valuated stock material type.
When you create a PO for this material the system will ask you to enter an account assignment category (such as K for cost centre etc.) Indicate the GL etc that you want the costs to be posted to (Stationery, office supploes etc.).
When the items are received, post the GR as normal (with MIGO). At GR the total value of the items will be posted to the correct financial accounts and the stock quantities will be updated.
Then when you have consumed anything you post a goods issue (MB1A or MIGO) and this does not post anything to the financial accounts (it was all posted at GR) but it does reduce the stock figures.
This process is ideal for ANY low value / high volume items, because the stock is managed correctly but you do not have many hundreds of tiny financial posting as each low value item is consumed.

How to add Text fields while doing SO through LSMW-BAPI method

I am doing Sales Order data migration using LSMW-BAPI method. The BAPI that i'm using is SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
I am able to handle all the fields except for the text fields such "Material sales text" in the Item info and "Layoout Set Header Text" in the Header.

Unable to extend tablespace while EhP4 upgrade

Hi Gurus,
We are doing EhP4 upgrade from EhP ready SR1. Our database version is DB6 9.7.2. We are using EhPI version 37.
In the chack phase the installer suggests to increase some tablspace size. But the tablespaces are in "Auto Storage Mode". We are unable to extend or add a container to it.
Any suggestions or workarounds for this issue?

SAP replied with the following workaround and it worked for us.
i)Save all files <upgdir>/bin/DBF.SPC and their content (for example by copying each of these files to DBF.SPC.SAV)
ii) Empty all files <upgdir>/bin/DBF*.SPC; that is do not delete/remove these files but delete all content, so that these files are completely empty!
iii) Make sure that you are having sufficient space in the file systems.
iv) Restart the upgrade/SPACECHK. with empty files there are no space requirements and thus the SPACECHK should finish successfully.

Currently I am doing EHP4 upgrade on Oracle 10g with Sun Solaris 5.10 , During preprocessing phase ( The EhP Installation program builds the shadow system from the original one.)

I performed what you mentioned, I execute "Create_SHDDBCON" function module on SE37... but I didn´t continue this execution because I´m not sure what I have to fill in that parameters: DBUSER ; DBPASS and CONENV. You recommended some values to that fields/parameters... but where you have been seeking this values/information? How you know that?

Either change the location of the upgrade directory as per value of parameter DIR_PUT or change this parameter to your upgrade directory location. And then try.

If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade.

If Windows :
Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .
Launch Photoshop cc 2014 application from C: > Program Files > Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 .
Once launched , click on Help menu in Photoshop cc 2014 and select Updates option .
It should update.
If Mac:
Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .
Launch Photoshop cc 2014 application from Applications folder:
Once launched , click on Help menu in Photoshop cc 2014 and select Updates option .
Let me know if you face any error .
Error 49 occurs while updating the application , when Creative Cloud app does not have reference / Access to installed CC app, so that it can apply updates for the same .
You can try to update from CC app like Photoshop itself and check.

I Don't know that recovery mode would work, but did you try it?
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
IF that fails, have you considered erasing the device using Find my iPhone in iCloud.com? I'm not sure what good that would do either of the iPad continues to freeze, but if nothing else is working .....
