ERecruiting-- Assignments to Talent Groups

Hi All,
As a Recruiting Admin I am able to create Talent Group. While creating TG I have added Recruiter as a member of the Support Team.
But when I checked as Recruiter under the following path Recruiter start page-->Assignments to Talent Groups, I could not find the Talent Group that was created by Recruiting Admin.
My question are -
1) Is this because of authorization or some other reason for TG not reflecting in Recruiter's page.
2) Once it is resolved, would like to know whether is it possible to automate the mechanism based on which some Talent Groups are populated.

Hi Pooja,
I am facing similar issues, can you please post the solution.
Thanks,
Rajnikanth

  • ERecruiting: Assignment to Talent Groups

    Hi All,
Is it possible to search by a candidate name and assign this candidate to a talent group?
    Thanks.

    Hi  PoojaM,
In most of the standard POWL queries such as: New Registered Candidates, My New Applications, New Team Applications, there is a button "ASSIGN" to assign a candidate to either a requisition or a talent group. You can filter the query results by candidate's name to search for a specific candidate and then assign him to a talent group.
In addition, the same functionality exists in the Requisition Assignments Screen where you can see all the candidates assigned to a requistion, filter them by name, and assign to a talent group.
A third place is the Candidate Search where you can search by candidate name and then assign him to a talent group.
A fourth place is the Candidate Profile Screen, under Profile Summary there is a section for talent groups where you can assign the candidate to a talent group.
    I hope this will help...

  • Creation of Talent Group

    Dear all,
How I can create a new Talent Group ???
How I can use the WDA ?? on the Portal or in backend.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards.
    Kah

    Hi Kah,
The Talent Group application is in the Portal in the Talent Management Specialist role. Here you can create and manage Talent Groups. It is not possible to create or manage them in the backend, although you can assign individuals to a Talent Group in the backend.
You can also launch the Talent Group application from transaction SICF by right-clicking hrtmc_talent_group and clicking Test (in path default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/). Also ensure that the service is activated, along with the other services (they should be if you are already using the Talent Search). See the document Services to activate in the Internet Communication Framework (SICF) for details.
Once you are in the application just use the New button to create a new Talent Group. Remember that only the creator can access a Talent Group unless you assign other users as part of the Support Team. Other users can still assign individuals to Talent Groups for which they are not part of the Support Team.
    Best regards,
    Luke

  • How to create Talent Group in Talent Management System (Infotype 7420)

    Hello All,
Can anybody let me know how to create talent Group entries in SAP HR TMS module (infotype 7420).
And one more thing if somebody know how to link application area for a user in TMS.
    Mani

we have to do it through EP interface through BP TMS.
    1. connect EP to SAP system
    2. Configure all the iviews of TMS business package so it can communicate with SAP system (change only SAP system name for all iviews)
    3. Assign the roles to user of EP
    4. run application using TMS

  • RH_DELETE_INFTY:DELETE_FIRST_RECORD ISSUE in IT 7420 (talent group)

Hello there I am trying to delete data from Infotype 7420 along with its related objects. I am getting dump DELETE_FIRST_RECORD when I try to delete data using FM RH_DELETE_INFTY. When I create IT 7420 (talent group) it create data in following tables HRP7420, HRT7420, HRP1000, HRP7430 AND HRT7430.  I also want to know if I delete data using FM RH_DELETE_INFTY from IT 7420 will it also delete data from other tables or not.
thanks in advance for your answers.
    Mani

Several objects don't leave us deleting them completely. Almost must exist one register because of the definition of the infotype.
With report RHRHDL00 you can delete objects too. Test it

  • Talent Managemnet Core: Talent Group

    Hi ,
I would like to know mainly three questions regarding the topic 'Talent Group'.
    1. How to create a talent Group in the backend system?
    2. Let know the transaction or report that generates the list of talent groups existing?
    3. Let know the transaction or report that generates the list of talents in a particular talent group?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Dinu

    Hello,
Talent Groups are not meant to be created in the backend. The new SAP functionality with ABAP WebDynpro requires that you have portal and then you can deploy the relevant business package. The business package which you need to be able to create Talent Groups is 'Talent Management Specialist 1.40'. The backend WebDynpro application used is to create or edit HRTMC_TALENT_GROUP and there is a portal iView available for this. You will use this to create the required groups and they will be saved in 7420. This application will list all groups which have been created and you have been assigned as part of the support team. From the list you can edit, copy an exisiting group to create a new group, create new or delete a group. As a follow up to a review meeting you can then assign employees to the various available groups. Each group created is available in its own tab. When you click on the respective tab for each group, the list of asigned candidates will be displayed with theor current status.
Eahc assignment to talent groups is always given together with validity. When you assign a talent to group, a new relationship '743' is created between the CP and TB objects. If then you want reports, you can do ABAP reports or queries to list the information from the infotypes with the required information based on requirement.

  • Talent Group and Support Team

    Hi.
To my understanding only Talent Management Specialists (TMS) assigned as members of the support team for each  Talent Group shall be able to maintain the Talent Group. This is an important function we need so that TMS can't delete another TMS Talent Group by mistake.
However in our system any TMS can access and edit/delete any Talent Group regardless if they are assigned as support team member or not.
Are there any settings we might have missed?
We are using the SAP standard role (well a z-copy of it).
    /Mauritz

    Hi,
I have the same requirement as Mauritz, i.e., the Talent Group should only be available for the persons in the Support Team. This applies to both Manager and Talent Managment Specialist. So the TMS should only be able to modify and nominate candidates for own Talent Groups and other groups where he/she is assigned as member of the Support Team. The Manager should only be able to nominate candidates in Talent Assessment if the manager is in the support team (ideally, as an altenative, the manager should be able to nominate talent for talent groups created by the talent manager of his/her organization, but I don´t expect SAP to provide such a sophisticated option).
I have tried to use restricted Manager roles, but the manager can in my scenario nominate for talent groups even if the manager is not in the support team. Similar, as TMS, I can edit the Talent Groups created by other TMS, even if I am not in the support group.
Have any of you found an easy way of restricting access to talent groups without creating a structural authorization profile for each of them? We are implementing this application on a global scale, so it is important to be able to create both local and global talent groups.
Any input on this matter would be appreciated.

  • Talent Group

    Hi,
I am working on Talent management(Performance management),but the link is yet to be activated.I need to gather all the information present in each field. Can anyone pls send me screenshots for Talent group so that i can get an understanding about the fields present in it.It would be of great help to me.
Can pls mail me to  [email protected]
    Regards

    Hi Luke,
I checked in the system and it looks like the status are correct. I think the issue here are the BAdIs.  Here is what I have configured:
Assign Talent Groups to the Boxes of the Calibration Grid - I have all of my talent groups assigned to the grid.
Define Follow-Up Activities for Talent Review Meetings - the standard is populated with the following :
SAP_PERFORMANCE - Update of Performance Document
SAP_PERFORMANCE_POTENTIAL - Update of Performance Document and Potential Document
SAP_POTENTIAL - Update of Potential Document
    SAP_TALENT_GROUP - Approval/Rejection of Talent Group Nominations
BAdI: Activities When Approving Talents in Calibration Grid - HRTMC_RM_CONFIRM_ACTIVITIES is active
BAdI: Follow-Up Activities of Talent Review Meetings - HRTMC_RM_FOLLOWUP_TALENT_GROUP - is active
HRTMC_RM_FOLLOWUP_PERF_POT - is not active and in the Active (Impl) the check box is checked but greyed out.  We do not want the appraisal to be updated.
BAdI: Status Change of Talent Review Meeting - we've created a custom BAdI but aren't sure what this BAdI is used for.
Our goal is that I want the Talent Group/Status to show up on the Followup Tab and I when a talent is moved in the TRM grid and the TMS hits "approved" for the talent groups to be approved automatically.  Is there a BAdI that we are missing or do we have something active that is conflicting with another BAdI? Right now the automatic approvals arent happening and the Talent Group/status tabs arent showing on the TRM follow-up tab.

  • E Recruiting-Assign to a Talent Group

    Hi
As an applicant I want to assign myself to Talent group. I didnu2019t find how to assign. I have registered as external candidate and I created the profile and try to assign myself to a talent group but I didnu2019t find the way.
Can you show me the way please? Thanks in advance.
    Robin

A candidate cannot assign himself/herself to the talent group.
This Job has to be carried out by the Recruiter/ Talent Management team because they are the best judge of which Talent groups a candidate belongs to depending upon his profile and the criterias set by the talent management team.
A candidate should not be ideally aware of the Talent group he belongs to.
Thougha  candidate can select the Interest Group, to receive Jobmailers belonging to a particular Interst Group.
    hope this solves your query,
    Regards,
    Devyash

  • Talent assignment talent groups

    Hello Guru's
Our customer wants to use Talent groups in a way that is slightly different as usual. Example: A talent will be assigned as approved by default to Talent group A for 3 monts. The duration is given in the duration start date and end date. However with the start of this assignment the talent becomes part of a flow in which the talent shall loop through talent groups in a chronological way. This talent will be transfered from group A to B and from B to C.
However the effective end date from the assignment can differ from the end duration date, if we try to edit the talent assignment and change the duration end date the system prompts an error  warning: In a assignment you can not change start and end date. So in our thoughts we would make some custom fields to include in the HRP7400 table in which the effective start and end date can be filled by the user.
Our question is how to delimit a approved assignment from a talent to a talent group? Can we work arround the SAP error?
    Kind regards.

Have you searched OSS within application area PA-TM for "talent group".
There are several corrections but this one caught my eye for your issue with end dates:
Note 1677349 - Talent group assignment cannot be extended
    Stephen
P.s. I note that in STVN you can't edit the assignment end date in the application - field is not available for editing (as opposed to any error messages).

  • Talent Groups

We creted 2 talent groups and added employees to it. On the Portal under Talent Profle, Talent group data is not showing up, say Data not available.
I guess, this could be security related. I am checking on this, meantime can please someone help me on this with different thoughts?

I've not seen any SAP notes about this or heard of any behaviour. Authorizations is definitely a good starting point.

  • Talent Group Nominations

    Hello Experts,
Have a question regarding the talent group nominations in the assessments vs the Talent Review Meetings (Talent Mgmt and Development Ehp6).
Via MSS an employee is nominated for a Talent Group "Developer"- stauts shows as Developer (Nominated)
Talent Review Meeting is set up where the talent is placed in the calibration grid based on PMP/POT scores.
Talent is moved in the grid to a Critical Talent and the "Save" button is hit and the Approve button is hit. - The icon changed from the Nominated Icon to the "Approved Icon" however when you click on the details the status still says "Nominated".
The TRM status is changed to "Complete".  The PMP/POT values update however the Talent Group for the TMS (Talent Information) still shows Nominated.  In MSS Talent Info in the Talent Group by the employee it says "Nominated" however in the Talent Overview detail under the employee name the status still says "Nominated".
When does the talent group nomination from the TRM get displayed to the "Approved" status?  I know that the TMS can approve Talent Group nominations under the Talent Group functionality however I have the follow-up activity HRTMC_RM_FOLLOWUP_TALENT_GROUP where the
it is supposed to provide the columns Talent Group and Status for the follow-up list and activates the relevant pushbutton however those pushbuttons aren't appearing on the follow-up tab.
Any clarification would be helpful !
    Thank you

  • DHCP assignments and AP Groups

I am having an issue in which I have AP Groups working perfectly fine, but when a client moves from one building to another the DHCP assignment of the "first" AP Group is retained when the user accesses AP's assigned to another AP Group.
For example, Laptop1 has an address of 10.2.1.110 in AP Group1. When the user moves to an AP in Group2, the Laptop1 retains the 10.2.1.110 instead of getting a new address from Group2.
Traffic still works perfectly, but I need them to inherit the IP sheme of the AP Group they've moved into (application requirements).
Our setup is very similar to this document: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk722/tk809/technologies_configuration_example09186a008073c723.shtml#configs
We have a 4402 controller with 37 1131 AP's. All AP's are assigned an AP group in their respective buildings and the VLAN DHCP and traffic works perfectly fine in each.
DHCP services are provided by a Windows 2003 server as both wired and wireless clients are required to be in the same subnet for application purposes.
The controller and AP's are in native VLAN 10.
I'd appreciate any assistance in determining why the controller or DHCP server is not recognizing the subnet change for the client.

This is normal behavior as long as the client can roam from an ap on AP Group1 to an ap on AP Group2. If you want the device to reassociate from one building to another, then you have to put the ap's on a different WLC with a different mobility group name. If all ap's are on the same mobility group, then you will have the seamless roaming like what you are seeing.
