ERecruitment BSP - Colour Themes

Hi everyone,
We had a SAP consultant visit us a couple of months ago. He managed to change the colour
scheme of our application using something called ALFS ( ABAP Look and Feel Service ).
Can anyone please tell me anymore on this subject and how it works? I can't seem to get
it to work when I enter URL he wrote down i.e. http://<server:port>/sap/public/bc/ur/design2002/themes/alfseditor

"Cocoa Error 256" is a file read error from the operating system. If your themes vanished after you saw this error, then it is possible the themes database file within Ideas got corrupted somehow, either due to a bug in the app or a bug in the operating system. We are not aware of any bugs or issues currently with the color themes file, however.
If you were signed into Creative Cloud and had sync turned on, then your themes should have been backed up to the Kuler web site. If that is the case, then the themes should redownload automatically when you open the themes panel.

  • [Solved] I can't get vim to save my selected colour theme

    Have pity upon a Vim acolyte!  I have looked through the Arch Wiki documentation and I have completed vim's excellent "vimtutor" program.  Both have been immensely helpful but I still have these issues and I'm not sure where to look for the solutions for the following two issues.
    I'm trying to get to grips with Vim but I'm having an issue where my Gvim/GUI editor-of-choice will not save my choice of theme or colours that I selected within the application's GUI.  I have installed Gvim and vim-qt-git from the AUR.  I have no .vimrc file and the default .viminfo file is in my home directory.
    What I have tried by picking a theme within the GUI:
    I installed Gvim, again I picked a theme, quit and re-started the program.  Result:  Upon re-starting vim-qt-git my theme colurs are back to the default theme it uses when running it for the first time.
    I installed *only* vim-qt-git, ran it, picked a colour theme and exited the application.  Result:  same as a above. 
    I ran vim-qt-git and I picked a theme, made a dummy document, saved the document and quit vim-qt-git.  Result:  after re-starting it my coloured theme is once again the default theme. 
    Could someone also please tell me how to get rid of the second/original screen at the bottom of my vim document when I try to invoke the ":help user-manual" command?  The manual comes up but below it is another area (is that what's referred to as a "buffer?") which is a blank space.

    @ids1024, I see what you're saying.
    @jwr, yes, I realise a GUI app has to save its settings somewhere.  However, even if I make a blank .vimrc file the GUI versions of Vim don't get written to it.  I did find a qVim folder under .config/Vim/qVim.conf.  Unfortunately all that is contained in that file is some sort of coding.  See here:

    So that logic does seem to point to the hypothesis (fact?)  that all configuration is done in ~/.vimrc, whether it is using a GUI or just the console version of Vim.

  • Can you change the colour of the menu bar, it's grey, you have a job to see bookmarks,history,printer icons. Is there a way to colour them to make them easier to see.Already using large icons, but still difficult to see icons for elderly relative.

    FF4 superb, install it yeasterday, but the only gripe is the grey menu bar, been in to customize, but no opitions to change/ add colour.

  • No colour themes in Kruler, please help!

    How do i get themes into Kruler? Mine is empty. My CS6 book (from school) says go to Window>Extensions>Kruler... However, I have CC at home. I saw below that it was suggested to  go to Windows>Color Themes (I have no "Color Themes" as an option). I do have Window>Kruler  but when I select it is empty/not active.

    I have no idea if that is the correct card or not. I thought it plugged into a socket and that card has a connector on it, at the bottom of the image displayed. But then I have only looked at the card in its holder that screws onto a bracket near the dvd drive. But I could be mistaken about how it connects to the logic board.
    The place to go is ifixit.com and do a search for your model mac and a wifi card for it.

  • Adding different colour themes to the standard ones?

    morning,
    i need to colour a graph as per company guidelines, however i cant see a way to add custom colours to the perset offerings in the chart colours.
    am i missing something?

    Click on Keynote's Colors icon. In the Color palette using the color wheel, you can choose your color. The color palette has a very cool feature in the form of a magnifying glass, actually a color sampler (see below, red box).
    Place the magnifying glass on any object on your screen and click (see below, red box), the color will now be set in the color wheel in the long rectangular box to the right of the magnifying glass and the selected text will reflect the new color.
    You can save this color sample for future use by clicking in the color box and dragging down to the 'favorites' boxes, bottom of the color window.
    ...Once you've created your custom color, you can use it at any time. To do so, click on its small box at the bottom ~ it will then appear in the color palette (next to the magnifying glass icon). Drag it from there to your chart's Region 1 or Region 2, etc. color indicator.

  • Why do the colours from Adobe Color Theme creation change when I try to use them?

    I've been exploring the Adobe Color Theme creator in InDesign. There are the three tabs: Create, Explore, My Themes.  In the create tab I can create a theme of colours, get the combination just right, and then save my new theme.  However as soon as I save any colour out to the swatches, the colour changes! It's driving me nuts.
    [Original Colour]  -Colour it comes out as-
    [green turquoise] -prussian blue-
    [strong, bright red] -darkish orange-
    [warm purple] -faded dark mauve-
    My best guess was that maybe the colour profile of the document was set to CMYK and that the colour themes work in RGB, but as far as I can determine it's just "North America General Purpose 2" and the Working Spaces include both RGB and CMYK. Therefore I'm stumped. I do not have the expertise to figure out what is going on and these are significant colour changes to have a really strong, vibrant colour palette turn into something much more muted.
    And if this piece of information is of any use, my yellow doesn't seem to change at all.
    Any ideas please?  I've tried searching for it, but maybe I'm not putting in the right combination of keywords. Hopefully I'm just being obtuse and someone will tell me to put a checkmark in a box somewhere.

    There are some slight value changes between the Theme and the Swatches, but we're only talking a change of 1 or 2 and so the colours appear to stay true now. Total pain to have to do this extra little step every time. =)
    a huge, glaring, and sloppy problem which really ought to be fixed by Adobe pronto.
    You can batch change the color mode of swatches if you select all of the swatches and double click them. Or, you can simply leave the Lab values and let the conversion to the correct CMYK space happen when you export to PDF.
    I'm guessing the fix won't be coming soon. The original Kuler app had the same color management problem. It's hard to see how they will fix it and keep Color Themes as a cloud based web app.
    When you convert the Lab swatches the CMYK values you get will depend on the document's assigned profile, so if you make two document's with different profiles assigned you'll get different CMYK values when you convert the Lab values. Here is US SWOP vs US SNAP

  • Office 2013 is much too bright & white - even if you select "dark grey" as the theme colour!!!

    Can the programmers please give us more to choose form with regards to the themes in Office 2013? I cannot stand it any longer... The user interface is horrible as it is too white & bright especially if you've been working on Office for hours... Please
    give us more theme options than white/grey/ dark grey to choose from. I like most of the other improvements, but I still prefer Office 2010 due to this bad colour theme of Office 2013... Did you overspend in having us choose little flowers/shapes/forms in
    the top left corner and had no money left to develop the other aspects of the user interface???

    So what's the verdict, it's been several months since this post started... this UI is horribly bright, why?? Apple did the same with iOS7, it's ridiculous. I'm an MCPD, have been certified in Visual Basic/Studio and SQL Server since 2000 and I know EXACTLY
    how programmers think and how easy or difficult a task is. Giving us a darker option isn't hard at all, but it's the latest UI fad, all of this bright blinding interface, and Microsoft won't give us a dark option (like Photoshop does) because it's part of
    the MARKETING/BRANDING push, indoctrinating the "new look", at our expense. Frustrating.
    I was given a copy of Office 2013 Pro by Amazon Vine for review, and I'm preparing to write the review, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to shred this version IN that review, because people have been calling out about it all year and Microsoft has ignored
    them. I hope you reply with a more encouraging answer that something is being done. I will certainly add that in if there is good news on the horizon.

  • Suite Bar theme/colours have changed and cannot be reset.

    I am in the middle of setting up a new Sharepoint environment for a client and although I have customised the masterpage and css for the site I have not made any changes to the Suite Bar links or navigation area. Last week though I noticed that the font
    color of the Suite Bar links and the background of the navigation/login div has changed colour.
    It's almost as though the theme has changed somehow and then stuck for those elements, I have made no changes to the CSS which could be affecting these. I have tried deleting and recreating the site collection but it is still incorrect when recreated.
    The Office365 and Sharepoint Admin Centers all have the correct colours, but any Site/SiteCollection below them seem to be picking this colour theme up somehow.
    Is there something simple I have missed?

  • How do you create your own theme?

    I'm into astronomy and I'd like to create my own theme on my phone (6300) for when I'm at a dark site.  We use red light only at dark sites because white light ruins your night vision for longer.  How can I create a red-based colour theme/wallpaper/text etc?

    Actually, the .nth files used as themes for S40 phones such as the 6300 are very simple and you don't really need any software other than a text editor to create them.
    These .nth files are in fact renamed .zip files. Rename one back to a .zip file, unzip it and look at the structure. At the core of it you have a simple XML file describing the various aspects of the theme. If any media (wallpaper, screensaver, ringtone etc.) is referred to in the XML file it'll be bundled in the archive along with the XML.
    Make any changes you want, zip the lot up again, rename it as a .nth file and you're done.

  • No longer able to select customized color theme for a collection page?

    Previously I have been able to select a custom colour theme for my collections in Public Site Manager by clicking on Collections > Configure Selected Collection > Theme
    The ‘theme’ tab is no longer showing – see screenshot –
    Does this mean we can longer apply a custom theme (custom colours etc.) to our collection pages?
    It seems we can still create themes (see screenshot below) but we’re no longer able to apply them to collection pages. Is anyone else seeing this?

    What I don't understand is - if Apple have got rid of themes on collection pages - then I would expect a generic theme to be applied retrospectively to all existing collection pages. What I see however is my custom theme on all my existing pages i.e. no change - but when I create a new collection obviously I now don't have the option to apply the custom theme - so I get a generic white on dark grey theme on new collection pages. In summay my existing pages have my custom theme applied and a few new pages have the generic theme and there's way for me to make them all look consistent.

  • RGB image coloured to spot colour

    We have supplied images (jpeg, tiff, wmf) that are RGB Black & White. I want to be able to place the image in a box and set the colour to a spot colour ie PMS 280.
    I can colour them up using Transparency>Lighten having set the background colour of the box. This only works for process colours, not for PMS colours. As soon as you change to a PMS colour the image "disappears". Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible??
    I work with Overprint Preview ON to get a view of how it will output.
    Due to how the customer supplies the files to us and automation involved it has to be done via Indesign.

    Not going to happen.
    You'll either need to make clear to users of the template that they need to supply the correct form of art or do the conversion yourself. I expect it could be scripted to find these images open them in photoshop, run an action, and return them to ID as grayscale. It probably could be set to run on file open.

  • Printed colour is different between two elements both created in pages with the same colour

    Hi There,
    I have been having some issues getting a text colour to match a logo (imported in pdf format) - While trying to discover what was happening I created a sample colour of (HSB 189 / 89 / 73) in pages and saved it in my colours palette to test.
    Now if I create some text (in pages) and a shape (also in pages) and colour them from the same colour sample/swatch and print it - the colours are clearly very different, Does pages do some kind of text colour correcting or weirdness that I cant find? Its hard to believe this is the desired workflow and its very anoying.
    PS. I have also tried printing from a pdf and I have the same issues - That said the two colours look identical in pages and the pdf on screen.

    Which although is helpful and may explain the behavious of the imported logo pdf vs the text it doesn't (I dont think) explain how two elements both created in pages using the same colour (from pages) would be dfferent?

    They are both coming out at the exact same colour (CMYK 83, 0, 21, 0) which is correct however they are not the same colours when printed, Im begining to think this is less of a pages thing (as the output is correct) but something is going wrong between pdf/pages and print
    Its not the easiest thing to see so you may have to take my word for it - but the two colours are not the same by quite a long way (Theres way more contrast in real life)
    I think Im ready to admit defeat on this but thanks a bunch for your help!

  • Change colour font for active line in clearing transaction

    Hello,
    Our system is SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP GUI 710. When the signature design is activated, we have a problem of colour contrast between active/desactive lines in the transaction for clearing document (F-32 for example) : the active line is in dark blue and the inactive is in black. So it is difficult for several users to clearly see the difference between the active/desactive lines and they must choose the previous design (Enjoy or classic design). In fact, in classical desing is the active/desactive line in red/black or in the enjoy in Electrical bleu/black.
    I will add that it is not possible to change the colour theme in the design options in our configuration (perhaps is something missing ?).
    Does someone know if there is a possibility to change the colour policy ?
