  • Data Communication between ERecruiting 3.0 standalone and R/3 4.7

    Dear All,
    We have the ERecruiting setup comprising of ERec 3.0 standalone with the backend HR system 4.7. We are using ALE to communicate between the two systems.
    In ERec 3.0 we have the message type HRMD_ABA with basic type HRMD_ABA04 while on the R/3 side we have HRMD_A06 available. Our data transfer requirements are satisfied by HRMD_A06 but it is not available on the ERec server. Due to this we are not able to transfer certain infotype data required like IT1007,0023,0024 etc.
    We managed to transport the basic type HRMD_A06 to the ERec server and tried sending the data across for Vacancy infotype 1007. It worked but the idoc went into error. On further investigation we found the table for IT1007 does not exist on ERec neither do the required functions to push the data into HRP1007. Is this becoz the PA component does not exist on the ERec 3.0? Is the PA component mandatory to be installed under such a landscape. We have only installed following components SAP_ABA-640,SAP_BASIS-640,SAP_BW-350 and ERECRUIT-300.
    We are able to transfer the OM data and see the same on Requisition tabs but not the Vacancy information due to missing table for 1007.
    How do we resolve this? Do we need to get the PA component installed or is there any other solution to transfer the data for IT1007,0022,0023.
    Any suggestions and help will be appreciated.

  • Error while accessing recruiter tab in Erecruit module

    Hi All,
    We are using ECC 6.0 HCM along with eRecruiting and LSO. Since yesterday while trying
    to access eRecruitement pages, I have been getting this error 'Internal Error has occurred. Please try again later'. There is no error code associated with it and I dont really know if this error is due to some eRecruiting problem or is it a generic portal error. Any help on this is highly appreciated.

    I have checked the JCo connection everything seems to be working fine.......because for this particular application it is giving this error otherwise for rest of the application no error is coming ......after clicking Recruiter tab i am getting this error.

  • Upgrade ERECRUIT to EHP in NW 7.0

    Hi,
    We have NW 7.0 with ERECRUIT add-on 603 and we want to upgrade to ERECRUIT 604 SP4 :
    Q1 : Does EHP1 for NW 7.0 required by ERECRUIT 604 ?
    Q2 : If the answer of Q1 is yes then we will user SAPEhpi to install EHP1 but how we can upgrade the  ERECRUIT  ad-on ?
    According to note 1326576 we can do it with SAPEhpi  but it has to be added manually in phase IS-SELECT !
    Q3 : Can we use SAINT instead of SAPEhpi to upgrade this add-on ?

    EHP1 will be required for all netweaver components in your ECC system like SAP_ABA, SAP_Basis etc. So, if you are doing EHP4 upgrade then you have to upgrade netweaver components to EHP1.

    When you will do the EHP4 upgrade, make a solution in MOPZ in solution manager, there select the usage type ERECRUIT there and put all the packages in download directory and stack xml file. Then EHPI installer will read your ERECRUIT package from stack xml file and upgrade it as well.

    If your system is 64 bit then you cannot use SAINT to upgrade to EHP4, you have to use EHPI installer only. EHP4 upgrade for 32 bit system can be performed with SAINT.

  • Changes to eRecruitment screens not displaying

    Hello,
    I have made changes to the eRecruitment screens. To make these changes I used the modification free enhancement technique. And I see these changes when I logon as an internal candidate but not when I logon as a external candidate. What the heck am I missing? From what I can see the underlying views are the same for both external and internal yet no matter what I do the changes don't get displayed in the external.
    Anyone seen this before and can point me the right direction?

    I am a bit confused, in standard the address for the internal candidate should not be visible at all. Makes no sense as the screens do only support addresses w/ a "channel" and this value is not set by the ALE.
    Overall do you use BSP or Web Dynpro UI? BSP ui can be configured by using the IMG while Web Dynpro can be adjusted using configurations. You should not use enhancements here. This is neither necessary nor a good idea from the maintenace perspective.

  • ERecruitment external candidate registration pages goes Blank after SPS7

    HI All ,
    We have recently upgraded our system from NW 701 SPS3 to SPS7 .
    Information :
    Our eRecruitment setup is , External candidates will login through a
    different server and we have eRecruiting integrated with the ERP but with
    the frontend for the External Candidate on a different
    server.
    We have checked the SICF nodes (active)and Trex working fine , however when a
    candidate registration page or job search is opened the page remains
    blank .
    The logs in SM21 are as below when we tried to reproduce the same .
    RCF_UNREGSER R2 G HTTP/RFC session has been deleted following timeout
    Can you please guide us on this .

  • ERecruiting: No candidates transferred from PA to infotype 5102

    Dear Friends,
    I am trying to implement eRecruiting in our IDES system which will be used a reference for an upcoming implementation project.
    Implementation Scope : ECC 6.0. The implementation is an integrated one i.e., eRecruiting is also in the same system as ECC.
    Problem : I generated the BSP page for the URL of the candidate & when i try to login ,i get an error. The error message is something like " There is an internal error".
    I checked the log in SLG1. Get a list of errors.The main content of the error is this "The user is not assigned a candidate or an employee".
    So, i decided to relook at the integration steps.I have a few clarifications regarding this.Please help
    Step 1 : Parameter setting in table T77S0:
    I set the following:
       GROUP                   Semantic           Value
      HRALX                   HRAC                   X
      HRALX                    OBPON               ON
      RECFA                    DTCBA               Logical system
       RECFA                   HRRCF               Logical system
    Clarifications :
    For the logical system,I have defined a logical system & assigned it to a client.
    I have also created a RFC which points to the same client.
    Should the Logical system point to this RFC?
    Should we metion the logical system or the RFC in the table. Please clarify?
    Step 2 : I tried to activate the sample implementations of the following BADIs:
    HRSYNC_P
    HRALX_HRALXSYNC_BADI
    HRPAD00INFTY
    HRBAS00INFTY
    Since this is an IDES system, i could not activate the sample implementations provided by SAP (access code issue).So, i created sample implementations & copied the code & activated these.
    Is this alright? Will the BADIs still work?
    Step 3: I tried to execute the report HRALXSYNC.
    I could see a list of CPs & Ps. I selected a few Ps & tried to repair them.
    After all this, i checked HRP5102 table & i still could not see any records?
    What am i doing wrong? Is there something missing?

    Hi,
    Though it mentions logical system, you need to specify the RFC name in T77s0 for both HRRFC and DTBCA. So keep the rfc name short so that it can fit in the entries of
    T77s0 .
    Also maintain a number range for BP-business partner. and try hralxsync
    Also check if there are any relationship appearing for US and BP in hrp1001 with CP.

    PM01 is used for PA infotypes
    PPCI for OM & PD.

    We indeed created the infotype using PPCI.
    For checking purpose we assigned it to a OM object & using Transaction PP01 entered a few records just to check if it is working.
    But the real test would be if we can successfully bind it to the webdynpro ABAP screen.

    Wondering if anyone has implemented eRecruitment 3.0 on a separate box and used ALE or XI between 4.7? 
    The client is on 4.7 with WAS 6.20
    If  you have what were your challenges and how did you overcome?

    We have the same situation. We have a R/3 Enterprise system (Basis 6.20 / Appl 4.70). Now we want to install E-Recruiting. The problem is that I dont really know much about WebAS. Maby you can explain me some basics:
    Is WebAS installed separate (and next to the) R/3 Enterprise system? Or is WebAS installed as a part of the R/3 system? Or does WebAS not have to be installed because it is allready a part of R/3 Enterprise?
    After I know that I know where to install E-Recruiting. Because E-Recruiting is installed on the WebAS.

  • Requisition object not created in eRecruiting system

    Dear Experts,
    Please help.  My eRecruiting system in production is having error at the moment.  When recruiter approve Requsition form created by Manager (via MSS), the requisition object is not created in eRecruiting system.
    The step by step scenarion:
    1.  Manager create Requisition Form in MSS - using PDF form.
    2.  Recruiter receive the form in Universal Work List (UWL) in HR Portal
    3.  Recruiter approve the form
    4.  Requisition form should be updated in eRecrutiing system : eRecruiting -> Requisition -> Maintenance, However, the object is not created.

    I think you are following the below path:
    Personal Pages > Requisition Maintenance > Requisition > Job Posting .
    under job postings we have 1.Basic data
    2.Basic data
    3.status
    4.Data overview.
    5.Publications.
    under the Requisition---->Status(one of the tab, before to Job postings)
    Check with the status should be in 'relased' state.
    If it is Relesed it wont give you an error.
    I faced this problem in the earlier while developing my object.

    I am trying to implement E-Recruit 300 SP8. But when I am trying to logon to any start page or register an external candidate, I get and Internal error message in the browser.
    Do you have any implementation guide for the same or if you can provide some weblog or something. I am just trying to do it from the SPRO documentation. Please help. As we have a customer demo and I ma unable to move forward from this point.

  • Erecruit business contents in BW 3.5

    I am challenged with a brand new BW 3.5 install where I am trying to install Erecruit (ODSs) business contents. I cannot find any documents on what is needed before I can use the business contents as well as what's included in the ODSs and the rest of business contents. Perhaps they share objects from other infoCubes that I do not have. This is a fresh installation of BW 3.5 and nothing else is installed. We have a fully functional ESS/Erecruit so it'd be nice to analyze that data into BW system. Thanks for any help or clues.

    The selection process begins by creating a new requisition then creating a  job posting and publishing it - this is a standard funcitonality , any checks involved in the selection can be customised using the BADI.
    Activity as a std functionality has status - in process, completed , Rejected and to be hired.
    When a candidate applies against the open job posting in ESS , you will be able to see the candidate details under the dashborad as a recruiter.
    Click the requisition under the dash borad and it will open a new window populating all the candidated applied to that requisition.
    Activites can be created with simple task, with a status change or email (Check customizing for more details on it)
    Activities can be like-
    employee completed first interview
    Employee completed medicals. these 2 can be an example of a simple activity
    Futher documents required - This can be an example of an email activity ( Letters can be customised attached to this activity)
    employee rejected, employee selected - This can be an example of status change activity .
    The last of all would be " Data transfer" this is done when you want the employee details to the transferrd for hiring, you can find this in tcode PA48.
