ERMS : Email work items not getting created

Hi Forum
In my test system (CRM 2007), inbound mails were properly coming in and getting distributed to agent's inbox. But after the server restart, I realised that the work items for inbound mails stopped getting created due to which mails are not reaching agent's inbox.
Mails are visible in SOIN but their associated Work items are not there in SWI1.
I have checked almost all the settings like Email Distribution (SO28), CRM_ERMS_WF_CUST (Event lining is in place and is active), swu0 (Event simulation is working).... but still not sure why work items are not getting created for inbound mails.
Any thoughts ? Help will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks Bruno for your time to reply !
I checked this transaction and in overview there are 19 events with errors. But apart from that everything is green.
I checked the Linkages with Error tab and realised that the events with errors belong to object type BUS1006.
In Activation tab --> Linkages --> Object type (ERMSSUPRT2) --> Linkage is activated.
Infact that is the first thing, I checked when work items were not getting created.
So no clue from here too.

    We are creating a protoype for one of the standard HCM form for change in working time. When we initiate the process, the workflow is supposed to identify the agent(which is the manager in this case) and push the work item in the inbox of the manager.
    In our issue, we are able to see the workitem in SAP inbox, but the same work item is not getting displayed in the portal.
    If we try to approve from the SAP inbox, the hard coded message u201CWork item can only be executed using the Portal and the UWLu201D comes. [this comes through the method of  one of the tasks 17900101 which we are using for approving the form]
    We commented the message by using a Z class. Now we donu2019t get the hardcoded message, but still the workflow does not complete from here.
    Can this be aan integration issue of the workflow tasks with the portal??Can someone elaborate on this??

    You have to say to your portal team to modify their XML file as above. In simple you hvae to configure the task in the portal and in the SWFVISU txn as follows with the following vizualization parameters
    Task TS17900101 and visualization type is JavaWebDynpro

  • Freight line item not getting created in Invoice

    Hi,
    We are using Inbound IDOC to create invoice with freight line items in it, The message type used is INVOIC and the standard inbound function module is IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM, The invoice which is getting created does not hold the freight line item in it. Actually we hope the indicator Goods Item/Delivery costs/Both which is present in the invoice (RM08M-XWARE_BNK) determines the creation of freight items or not. In our case the invoice is getting created with the indicator value as 1 but we hope the value 3 would be required for frieght items.
    Please let me know if the above message type and the standard function module would be able to handle the creation of frieght line items or we need to look for some other option.

  • Work Item not getting logically deleted

    Hi All,
    We have created a custom workflow for PR approval at Item Level. I have RELEASE STEP CREATED as triggering event.
    I have used a FORK with 5 branches with 4 wait events and min cond as 1. The inherited business object ZBUS2009 has been created with events CHANGE, DELETED. The business object has been delegated to Original Business object BUS2009.
    To trigger the events like DELETED and CHANGED, I have used POSTED METHOD of ME_REQ_POSTED BADI.
    When a PR Item is created the agents are determined successfully and work item is placed in his SAP Inbox. Later the PR Item has been deleted and saved the BADI Implementation is triggered and I can see the log in SWEL for DELETED event with success icon.
    However when i go back to PR Item which i have deleted and see the workflow log the work item is still in the approver's inbox. but the graphic log shows that the DELETED branch of the fork is completed. I tried all options like Buffer synch, background job, queue admin etc with no success.
    I did the same workflow at one of my previous clients and it is working perfectly for last 2yrs.
    Can any one guide me on what could have gone wrong or what i am missing?

    Thanks for your quick response.
    The fork is having 5 parallel branchs and 1 necessary branch and is INDEED HAS NO EXTRA CONDITIONS.
    Also as i mentioned the graphical log shows that the completion of BRANCH Beneth DELETED but the work item is still in approver's inbox. 
    Please let me know if I am missing something....

  • Work Item Not getting Deleted

    We have a starge issue.
    We use the table SWWUSERWI to see all the work items in the user's inbox.
    If we delete the work item in this table it will remove the same from user's inbox.
    We have a problem now. Even after we deleted all the work items the SRM "Approval" link and the "Inbox" still contains Workitems( more than 200 ).
    Is there anyother table or tCode to find the work items in user's inbox'

    The issue is solved!!!
    The another user who is not with the company currenlty had maintained the user who had problem as substitue!!!.. we had to remove the substitute to solve the problem.

  • Work Item Not Getting Executed

    Hi,
    I am using the Standard workflow WS20000077 for Purchase Requisition release.
    In the standard task "TS20000159" I have maintained the agent as my user name for test purpose.
    I have also activated the event linkage for Business object BUS2105 and Workflow WS20000077.
    I have maintained the User againest the release code in the customising activity.
    I am getting an workitem in my inbox stating that "Please release purchase requisition" whenever a purchase requisition gets created.
    When I am executing the workitem nothing is happening..No Tcode gets opened for release.
    Pls suggest what may be the problem..?

    It would be nice if you would post the cause and solution for the benefit of others.

  • UWL items not getting cleared after performing action

    Hello
    We are on EP 7.0.
    We are experiencing a strange behaviorin UWL.
    When end users receive workitems in their inbox and they take the appropriate actions, the workitems still stay in the inbox. Normally they should no longer appear.
    I have tried the refresh in the UWL iview but no luck.
    It seems to work in DEV and other landscape. It does no work in Production. The software installation of UWL are the same across all landscapes.
    Is there any other setting that is required. In SAP GUI this is not an issue.
    Any feedback or tips would be helpful. thanks.

    As far as I can remember, this is a known limitation of UWL.

    I am unsure whether you use the correct button the refresh the UWL (it is well hidden!), check the slide 6 in this document :

    happening sporadically. Hence Development has created a report for this   
    issue, please see the below note:                                                                               
    729967: Shoppng cart:Status I1111,no follow-on docs->analysis report                                                                               
    Please run the above report and then check the effected shopping carts.                                                                               
    Also I would recommend the following note to be implemented:                                                                               
    1233037: BBP_MON_SC: Shopping cart transfer ends in status I1111                                                                               
    Please implement both notes and run the report. This should help with     
    this issue.

  • SRM PR is not getting created in ECC backend

    Hello Experts,
    We are running SRM 7.0 with SRM-MDM Catalog, we are using SRM for shopping.  We do have PI 7.11 running in the Environment as well.
    We are on ECC 6.0 with Ehp 4.0
    Purchase Order:
    However we can see the PO creating successfully using PI.
    Question, in the SRM table (BBP_FUNCTION_MAP), we see the object type: BUS2012 for ERP 4.0 has adapter name: /SAPSRM/CL_SOA_ADPT_PO_CRT_ERP for when creating PO. Please see teh screen shot.
    is this the reason that we need PI?
    Purchase Requisition:
    PR Creation is not working:
    PR is not getting created in the ERP, PR uses Object type: BUS2105, Adpater CL_BBP_BS_ADAPTER_RQ_CRT_470 for ERP 4.0 System type, can you please tell me if the adapter is correct for ERP 4.0 system type?
    I also have a question to ask:
    1) Where did you see that PR/PO was send to PI System (PI1)? My understanding is that since ERP amd SRM are 2 ABAP Systems, why we cannot send the PR/PO directly to ERP system from SRM? Why do we need a middleware(PI) in between for this process? We should be able to USE BAPI function to do it correct?

    Dear Experts,
    I am working in a scenario where we are using Campaign Automation for sending Email Survey to business partners.
    Mails are reaching the BPs, survey response also coming to the survey tables, But the Inbound activity is not getting created in the system.
    I am using standard Transaction type ''0000'' for inbound activity. . which is ''Appointment'' and Category type ''Date'',  direction  ''inbound''
    The Action profile for this activity is Campaign_Automation_Activity. . .
    I have done questionnaire determination is customizing too.. .
    Am I missing a something??
    Some linking of this Activity with Campaign element?
    Please suggest!!

    2.I have checked the BAdI CRM_SVY_MKTCA_PAI and checked the Transaction type ''0000'' hardcoded, so using the same Transaction type,  the Category is hrdcoded as ''002''
    3. Transaction type ''0000'' is active.
    Please suggest?

  • Workitem not getting created

    Hi,
    I have build a workflow based on "QMSM" at event "COMPLETED". I have done the event linkage correctly and transported the customizing request in the client I want to test it in.
    The workflow has been activated without error. Itu2019s working when I test it from development environment, that is, from workflow builder.
    When I create a notification and complete the task, the event "COMPLETED" is getting triggered of "QMSM" object. In the event trace I could find out the green indicator against the event which means the workflow was recognized by event manager.
    But there is no workitem getting created. Could you please help me finding out the problem behind it?
    Why is workitem not getting created?
    Event Trace result is:

    The problem is workflow is not getting triggered.
    I had triggered the WF manually by executing the FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF (from se 37 directly) which resulted in work item (WF instance) created. The WF error issue (Exception on ZFM) has been removed.
    The process that i follow:
    (1) I create a notification and add a task & complete the task.  <--- This does not trigger WF (and this my problem)
    (2) Event trace gives the things in GREEN. I double click the event trace record.
    (3) I get the necessary parameters from event trace corresponding to the event (COMPLETED) of object type QMSM and execute the FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF.  This result in creation of a work item (triggering of work flow), In other word - A instance of WF is created that we can call the work item.
    My problem is -> even after correct event linkage, why is workflow not getting triggered?
    Could you please point out what would be going wrong?

  • BP not getting created while creating employee

    When I Hire an employee a BP should be created for it. It used to happen earlier in the system but after we moved to another system this is not working.  Can someone please let me know the necessary config for this?
    I've the following settings:
    HRALX   ONUMB  = 2
    HRALX   OSUBG = MD
    The MD number range is from 90000000 to 9999999999. Should this number range be internal or external?
    When I use the HR_SYNC_PERSON report for an employee I get the error as
    "Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'CP' '50000201' failed"
    "Object of type 'US' with ID '1122' does not exist or is inconsistent"
    "Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'O' '50000101' failed" etc
    Also I need to upload the employee master data using LSMW and BP does not get created with LSMW also? Is there some specific config while using LSMW?
    Please help.

    Whenever you are uploading employees using LSMW, you need to run program HR_SYNC_PERSON.

               We are trying a IDOC-File scenario & trying to create a XML file on the receiver side........All the mappings have been checked & everything is working fine.It shows success in SXMB_MONI. But the file is not getting created at the target directory..... Checked the component Monitoring and message  monitoring as well, which is also successful...
    What could be the reason of such behaviour, and is there a way to track the where the target file is getting placed?

    Did you check the receiver communication channel in communication channel monitoring?
    Are there any errors?

    The code starting from WAIT UP TO 10 SECONDS. - not only does it look attrocious, is error prone (if no free process for executing batch job is available for 10 seconds, or if the job runs for more than 10 seconds, what will happen...?), but seems utterly unnecessary... Is there any reason immediate spool output can not be handled by simply setting PRINT_PARAMETERS-PRIMM = 'X'?

    Ok, i just read Document in spool but not printed... Do not use an output device relying on frontend access methods to do printing from background processing. Frontend is not available during background processing, period. To my knowledge there is no easy, clean solution to this problem other than defining and assigning, per user, output devices not relying on frontend printing. What if the dialog user has logged off by the time batch job finishes..? May the spool remain unprinted?
    Has the SAP Basis refused to define output devices (I have hard time believing this...)? Well, tell them one time to stop being silly and if they do not cooperate, tell the owner of the requirement that it can not be implemented due to uncooperative Basis then... and that the users will have to keep going to SP01 and manualy start the output!

  • File not getting created at the Reciever

    Hi All,
    I have implemented a simeple file to file scenario. The file is getting deleted from the source directory but is not getting created in the target directory. It shows a checkered flag in SXMB_MONI . When i do Communication Channel monitoring for the reciever Comm. Channel, it shows no messsages .
    I have refreshed the Cache in Integration directory. it is still not working.
    I tried using a different Communication channel with the Mail adapter that is working fine.
    I cant figure out what the problem is please help.

    Here i want to add some points :
    Even I faced same problem in project....... then I followed this procedure...
    My scenario is FILE TO RFC via FTP Server in file adapter.
    Here issue is file is picking from FTP and showing success in MONI but data is not reaching to BW system..
    Most of the times I checked and I did successfully.
    Main issue are due to:::
    1. Check Queues in Inbound queue SMq2
    2. Trace teh step by step in message flow in message monitoring that means check whether message flows
            from a) Intergration Engine
                   b) Adapter Engine..
    3. Check and trace the flow in Message monitoring in Run Time work Bench
    4. Check Status of Receiver communication Channel in Communication channel Monitoring
    5) Check whether Business Services are Scheduled in Availability Time planning or not
    6  Also Check in Visual admin whether the services are released or not if any others are might using the same servivcees and cahnnels and suppose if they are scheduled or not
    7. Do Cache Refresh mainly SXI CACHE, ADAPTER ENGINE CACHE
    8 Finally if still not resolved J2EE ENgine SOFT Restart..instead of doing restarting entire XIengine server.
    Once the Server is started then defintely all the messages if suppose if 40 messages are picked from source directory and not reached to Target then all those definetely 100% become success and reached
    Note:: All above needs to check only if development part is correctly configured.
    Also check the Receiver target and sender directory Permissions in FTP Server i.e., rwx permissions okay
